Kim - Gargul's temple clarification (OOC)
Friday September 13th, 2002 4:19:07 PM

Donna -

You wrote regarding the Black Cathedral, "(it now occupies the building that used to house the worship-site for the Sisters of Disaster)."

Question: Is this the same as building #34. 'Sister Temple' on the Plateau City map of the Hindquarter, adjacent to Sister Square? [http://www.woldiangames.com/maps/yrth/peninsula/newelenna/plateaucity/hindquarter.htm]

If so, does it retain the shape of the Sister Temple, with the three circular buildings in the triangle, or does it now have the Skull-shaped layout of the Black Cathedral, from the Nightmare Quarter? [http://www.woldiangames.com/maps/yrth/peninsula/newelenna/plateaucity/nightmare_quarter.htm]

DM Donna: the followers of Gargul are now located at the temple site next to Sisters Square; as far as I know, the buildings on the site have yet to be remodeled.

However, the old location of the Black Cathedral is going to be taken over by another deity. As far as I know, that temple will retain its skull shape, but the CDM has not finalized that development yet.

Ferrak (temporary retirement)
Saturday September 14th, 2002 11:49:05 AM

"I do not think this 'gaming emporium' will look kindly on me and my brother," Ferrak says. "Places like that make me nervous..."

"No, I shall not join you on this mission, my friends. I have put off a visit to my druidic master for too long, and my studies are suffering. Darkfang and I will rejoin you later, but for now it is time to return to the green."

The feral gnome looks torn between a longing for the peace of the trees, and a desire to remain with his compatriots.

"Come, 'Fang, make your farewells, it is time to go."

The halfling looks to Ferrak as he tells of his plans to part for now. He reaches out to pet Darkfang, and scratch behind his ears. He hugs the wolf, and smells deeply of the fur along his shoulder. 'Find some good bones, Darkfang. Protect the gnome,' he barks out in the vulpine tongue.

He grasps the strong forearms of the similarly-statured druid. "Do well, Ferrak. We will miss you. I'll try to watch over your little garden. You keep the wand* I lent you." He reaches into his pants, and pulls out a wrapped object. "Here's a snack for the road." When Ferrak opens it, now or later, he will find a bread surprise, with cooked beef and mixed vegetables inside the round bread shell.

Once all have said their farewells to Ferrak, Bill says, "All right. Let's go to Elmo's." And he heads that direction.

"Til again, we hunt alonggg the same trail... pack-mates," says the feral gnome as a good-bye.

Moving closer toward his brother, the two become one, and in a blur of motion they are gone.

(Chasing rabbits and racing the moon.)

As Ferrak and Darkfang take their leave, Renik leans down and whispers to him,

"Don't be away too long, little brother. We need you here, and it won't be the same without you by our side."

Darkfang
Sunday September 15th, 2002 7:19:52 PM

Darkfang says his goodbyes by licking each member on the face before leaving with his brother.
