Garrett swings at zombie ze. And then moves through the door, not wanting to leave Aiden alone. Garrett sees the blood pack covering their moves and decides it's best to let them fill in our spots.

Trellus blinks as the wall of fire springs up and quickly looks around. A happy grin spreads across his face. The new guy - Wait, did he say 'shady'? He's one of us! - knows all kinds of waxed picks with fire, Flea's on her way to help Mac, and even that white-handed gnome is listening. Things is lookin' up.

The blond haired cleric decides to give Mac some extra care.

Making sure he doesn't get engaged, he swings around to Mac's flank [I3], pulling another wand from his HHHaversack as he moves. Arriving at the taur, Trellus taps him with the wand to close up some of those wounds.

Deprived of its target, Domi's Hammer hovers above the cleric's right shoulder.

Aiden took a step to the side of the door, to allow others to enter. Turning slightly, he tried to look around to see just what was within this room.

And to take on any dangers that were present...at least until the others could enter.

The ranger sighs briefly as ta polar bear rounds the pillar and fells the zombie in front of him.

"Thanks Gil, I appreciate that greatly!"

The ranger then looks around as his wunjos are filling through the door and takes his turn to rush through the door.

he also takes a moment to looks over his body and count the number of wounds deep in his flesh.

Anuk rushes to find a spot between Mac and Grymash (moves to I5) and swings his blade. If wolf 3 is still up he assists Mac, if not, he turns his attention to ZC.

Hits AC 19 for 12 pts (14pts if zombie orc for favored enemy)

Grymash continues his onslaught on the wolf. The brief encounter with the previous one has given Grymash a deep hatred of furry meatbags. Gry swings wildly at the wolf's frozen mummified hide. Barely avoiding Jake!

Bohdi and Squork head to and through the door. Bohdi's Darkvision picks up a long hallway extending to the right. Along either side at 15' intervals are 5' niches. The hall extends beyond his 60' limit It is highly adorned with marble and harsh geometric engravings. Further separating this place form the vast natural landscape in which the building itself lies.

Ulgren smiles at his handiwork and further demonstrates his extreme usefulness by splaying a curtain of fire across the room. Fire blazes across both wolves who continue to press their attacks. The orc zombie quickly thaws, catches fire and burns to ash. The one identified as, Skalti holds his left hand against the fire and it seems to wrap about him, but never touches the black skinned human.

Gilan makes short work of Zombie Zf with a pair of devastating claws. The druid can't help but feel a bit of relief to see the corpse fly apart without having to taste it.

Mac's shifts left and with a mighty swing fells the now charred and battered wolf.

Garret moves through the door. His light casting down the hall, revealing the niches and apparently vertical crypts.

Trellus moves up and heals some of Mac's wounds.

Aiden casts his keen eyes and ears down the new hall. Clearly each niche holds an upright burial chamber.

Nauthiz'Ull moves through the door

Guloith uses his javelin to ward off any attacks by the zombies and steps through the door.

Anuk moves up, but the wall of fire and Mac have descimated the last few opponents.

Grymash plants his axe firmly in the head of the last wolf. The back end is bursting into flames, the front marred and chapped, the creature finally falls.

Mund runs to join her new companions.

All the foul creatures lie in ruins about the chamber save three. The twisted creature that was once Skalti the bard retreats, from the flames and overwhelming numbers deeper into the chamber and disappears behind a thick pillar.

On the far left side where the men of Ice Peak move through a door, two zombies still remain. They both turn thier attention towards Gilan as if the Icers no longer register as opponents.
(Ze Hit AC 19 Dmg 10+6=16 Zd Hit AC 25 dmg 9+5=14) Supernatural Cold tears through Gilan's body seeking out his heart as if an intelligence directed it.

Bohdi gave a low whistle as he examined the room that the Ice Peak villagers presently occupied. "Quite the accommodations. Not where I'd choose to stay, but hostels in this area are a tad hard to come by. Gyrus globus illuminare!" With that last, a multicolored rune flickered to life before Bohdi, transforming itself into the familiar, cheerfully colored balls of light that Bohdi had used in the past. The balls of light flew down the narrow chamber, casting a myriad of colors in illumination. (Cast: Dancing Lights, duration 1 minute, range 120'. Send down corridor 80'--should illuminate to the end--before returning 40', to provide illumination directly ahead.)

Slowly, the gnome illusionist moved forward, carefully examining the carved surfaces for clues as to any hidden purpose to the room. His knowledge of the fields of spellcraft, the arcane, architecture, and even his recently-found appreciation for High Woldian all could potentially find application here. (Spellcraft check NAT 20 = 31!, Knowledge-Arcana = 20, Knowledge-Architecture = 12, Knowledge-High Woldian = 22.)

Squork, meanwhile, continued to scout the remainder of the room for trouble (Spot 11, Search 21).

Gilan feels the biting cold from the zombieorcs attacks and shakes it off as he brings claws to bear upon the first zombieorc in his way. His mind can only grasp one idea at this time...tear and rend. He does not feel the need to set teeth into these things...the revulsion from earlier registering a little.

As claws rip and tear he thinks to hug the thing with the strength of his animal form, but only if the zombie is still alive. Eyes flash with anger and a bear smile crosses his face as he looks to the other zombieorc...if it could only feel fear.

Trellus taps Mac with the wand again.

Having expended the last charge of that particular wand, the cleric lets it fall to the floor.

He crosses over to Flea and holds out his hand, silently asking for the wand she never used.

"Gil, you need to back up so Gry and Jake can get in there," he points out to the druid/bear.

He nods to the new guy. "Waxed picks. I'm Trellus."

The drow looks over at Trellus, "Thanks, figured that those White Hands wouldn't like a taste of the plains heat," Ulgren looks at the rest of the pack, his one eye taking everyone in one at a time. "I am Ulgren D'athen and I was directed this way. I was told I might be of use. Glad I showed up when I did." Ulgren says the last with a smile. "I am a decent wizard and a fair grass sailor when I have a boat or skiff, but for now lets deal with those last two white hands over there and get someplace warm, I AM FREEZING!" Ulgren steps into the room and looks around, "I can keep the wall going as long as I concentrate on it and for a bit after that, so we best be figuring out what needs be done before some more of those white hands show up."

Grymash wheels around wildly. His rage is seething out of every pore. His job isnt done. He still senses the presence of undead within the room. Spitting and grunting, Grymash stomps back toward the entrance and notices the zombies behind the big furry wall. With a roar, Grymash goes charging at Gilan (in bear form). With a mighty leap Grymash becomes airborne as he tries to fling himself over the bear to destroy those undead still standing.

(Running High Jump: 28. That's a jump 7-ft high, 12 feet long. Reflex save 14 to stick a nice landing.)

"Well, we go' Mister Mouthy "Rather-die-than-go-anywhere-wi'out-m'-donkey" hidin' doo'n tha' way", he states as he points out the columns down the left side of the room (the right side of the map), "an' through those doors be a'least two more skeletrolls. Nice fire you've brought us, by-the-by."

"Thank y' Trellus, tha' feels betta."

He pulls a bundle out from under his furs, and unwraps it to find Galea purring and with eyes still (mostly) closed softly pushing on his snout with a paw.

Sliding his way through the door the ebony ranger's eyes flashes about, wary of any other threats within this tomb{spot-20}{listen-14}. There must be a trickle of blood running through his ear.

It seems as though I am weak father. Look at me and tell me that I am strong. I doubt you can tell me so.

"We need to get done whatever it is that we are here to do. This seems a bit out of our hands."

"We may need to shut the door, to prevent those" as he spat the word out "creatures" (not meaning the Pack) "from following us, and attacking from behind."

Aiden then turned, and began to try and make out the details of the burial chambers (markings, depictions of who or what is there).

As if hit in the face by a baseball, Gulioth notices that he doesn't have his axe. He runs throught the door to grab his axe on the floor and holsters it on his back creating another gash on his shoulder.

Gilan pounds at the Zombie, but his blows are not quite as powerful or precise this time and he brings the creature into a vice like grip. Though badly mauled the thing still struggles.

Grymash comes sailing over the bear would have crashed into the zombie were it not for Gilan Pulling it it himself in a grapple.

Trellus cures Mac, who points out teh last zombies to everyone lest they be forgotten, as well as Skalti lurking somewhere and the Two Trolls seen earlier must be ahead as well.

Ulgren does intros as Anuk and Jake bide thier time with Flea.

The zombie lashes at Grymash as he lands upon his feet. (Impressive. Most Impressive) Even the Zombie was stunned by the spectacle. (Hit AC 8) It then goes after Gilan, landing a powerful blow. (Hit AC 24 Dmg 5+5=10)

The other Zombie struggles against the bear but can not escape. (Gilan Grapple 10+18=28 Orc 18+6=24) Gilan Polar bear has 27 strength for +8 and size for +4 + you BAB which is 6 right? I get total +18. How did you get +23 and you only need 1 claw to start a grapple in 3.5)

Skalti is nowhere to be seen doue to the curtain of flames stretching across the room to the ceiling.

Listen DC 32 hears something to the left on the other side of the fire.

Icers- Bohdi brings some more Light to extend everyone's vision. It is most definately a crypt. Each nich contains a stone coffin with lid. Geometric symbols and Bohdi realizes (nice roll spellcraft) fairly powerful Abjurational symbols are carved in relief upon just about everything. The more powerful spells are upon the coffins themselves. Slowly the group moves forward. Guloith and Aiden lead the, though the big barbarian is having some trouble walking.

Bohdi eyed with suspicion the fur-clad warrior now casually walking with their group. "Hey! Did somebody order a table for six?" He addressed Gulioth. "What's with you?"

But at least the new guy wasn't dead, or frozen. Yet.

Meanwhile, Bohdi cast his eyes over the stone coffins. "There's some mighty powerful warding magic at work here, particularly on the coffins. Given what we've seen, one would think that it would be there to keep things in as much as to keep things out, so be on your guard and nobody touch anything they shouldn't be touching."

"This is making me nervous. Fellows--are you sure we should be wandering off like this on our own, without the Bloodpack? If Garrett's good graces with Domi are spent for the day, then some of you are just one brush with a walking frozen dude away from the eternal grasslands. Criminy, I'm starting to sound like those Bloodpackers, too," he added under his breath.

"I say we go back and make sure that the Bloodpack has finished off those other fellows, including Skalti, once and for all. What do you all think?"

Bohdi held his position, but mentally, he directed Squork to go back to the doors and peek around the corner to see where things stood in the Temple's main room.

(Sorry about the lax in posting, this weekend was away from everything)
Jake moves over next tot hep illar in line for moving in to attack. "Yeah, comon, Gil, let me and Gry take care of these two bozos." He grins and gets ready to move in and attack. When/if he gets the chance, he dashes in with a strong, swift blow. (Power attack -5, hits AC 26, does 16 damage and 1 freezing damage).

Flea, meanwhile, peers about, worrying about Bodhi internally, but keeping herself busy by burning any of the fallen foes to make sure they don't come up at all...

Trellus catches Grymash's leap.
"Shady," he comments before getting back to business.

"Dude, keep that wall flaming a while longer. Everybody get shuttlecocked for whatever's coming next."

Mac is healed enough, and thanks to that leap, Grymash is out of reach.
Trellus casts a spell on himself, and steps in behind Gilan. Once they finish this last thread, he'll heal up the half orc.

Ulgren nods at Trellus, "I am as shuttlecocked as I can be at the moment but the wall stays as you request." Ulgren stares at Mac and his strange speech, "Huh?" the drow says slowly his one eye blinking as he looks the minotaur over, "I don't understand what you mean..mouthy? me? when? I don't.." Ulgren looks around the assembled group, "Was I being mouthy?"

Gilanbear staggers back away from the fight as he maintains a hold upon the zombieorc in his grasp. He grunts when he is struck by the other zombieorc and he growls. He is able to back off fifteen feet to allow an opening for the others to get into, but he has his prize.

Nauth walks about with worries laying heavy on his mind. His feeling of worthlessness and failure begin creeping up upon him once again.

He keeps his eyes and ears open but his little wuno's words strike an odd chorde within.

"Go back? Rely on the Bloodpack? Bohdi, we are adults now, its time to act that way. If I die today then...so..so be it."

A cracking voice breaks from theh pubescent throat of the ranger and doubt and immaturity ring along with the voice.

With a giant shrug of his shoulders Nauth adds, "But you're probably right....."

Grymash makes his leap and spins around to face the zombie when suddenly he feels his knees buckle. His strength is rapidly leaving him. His lungs pound hard against his ribs with every heaving breathless gasp of air. He cant help but shiver as he begins to feel the cold once again. His rage is gone. He feels completely spent. Drool freezes as freely flows from his gaping mouth. Grymash knows his work is not over. Gargul's commands still pressing hard upon him. With every ounce of strength he can still muster, the barbarian cleric lashes out at the zombie that attacked him.

(Two-weapon fighting. HitAC: 25, 32, 27. Damage: 10, 12, 13 = 35 points of possible damage.

"All the reinforcements came from the other end of the main chamber. It is likely that any of the enemy would have been sent to the main chamber if they had been in here."

At that Garrett starts slowly walking forward, looking for the least bit of movement from any of the crypts

Anuk sheathes his longsword and raises his bow, peering intently through the magical wall of flame for further intruders. Although, he thinks, I suppose we're the intruders here.

Without taking his eyes from the now empty area beyond the flames, he calls back to the newcomer, "Ulgren, good to meet you and thanks for the help. I'm Anuk. Shady wall you made here."

Looking at the others, "If we are to try and help the Blood pack, I would say we should see if there is another doorway within this room. Then we attack the foul creatures from two directions."

Aiden then began to walk slowly by Garrett's side.

Jake moves to assist Gilan and Grymash. The full plate slows him down a bit though and he is unable to get into striking position this round.

Trellus requests the wall stay right where it is a bit longer and moves to Gilan as well. A warding of protection springs up about the cleric.

Ulgren complies with the wall but expresses some concern over Mac's statement of 'Mister Mouthy'

Gilan, the failing zombie hopelessly secure, moves back to allow others to get to Grymash and the last of them.

Grymash hits the proverbial wall and the world goes gray, blood pounds in his ears like a distant rolling thunder across the plains so far from here and this desecrated place. His body screams to lie down and concentrate on breathing, but the will of the warrior is much more demanding. The double axe flashes in rapid succession. Each hit sends shards of ice and crystallized blood flying. By the third cut, the creature topples to the floor.

Anuk gets his bow and keeps his eyes trained to the wall of flame and beyond, for somewhere beyond that barrier another opponent lurks.

Meanwhile in the halls of the crypts...
The group moves slowly on thoughts of returning to the Bloodpack and not touching anything are discussed breifly. Bohdi continues his study of the glyphs and they are not designed to keep anything in the coffins as a normal barrier would, but the true function is simply beyond his reasoning and abilities. The air remains cold and still, no movements can be seen or heard as a growing sense of uneasiness starts to fill everyones stomach.

While Squork kept a beady eye on the proceedings in the main temple, Bohdi reluctantly followed Garrett down the narrower chamber, moving his lights along with them. Out of precaution, he summoned his orange magic-detecting rune-spectacles and donned them (Cast: Detect Magic), scanning the room and the area ahead of them for any enchantments that his spellcaster's unaided eye may have missed. (Spellcraft check, if applicable = 22.)

Grymash slips in the loose shards of ice and bits of brittle flesh on the floor (reflex 19), but he's able to catch himself with support from his double axe. He spits repeatedly to clear his throat so he can breathe easier. He eyes dart around the room. He sees only the last zombie, in the claws of the big furry wall. He realizes its as good as slain. A sudden calmness falls over him and he drops to his knees. Grymash tries very hard to calm his breathing. Each freezing breath burns his throat.

With a holy symbol held into the air and in a breathless voice, Grymash tries to speak to the last zombie, "Uhh Sha, Shouts out Garguls na-name! Begg forgiveness ann Gargul maybe showzz ya ma, mercys!"

Bathed in the eerie light cast by the wall of flame, Anuk relaxes his stance a bit, but his eyes move constantly about and he cocks his head to one side, straining to hear any sounds not created by the pack. Turning momentarily, he saw the wounded Nauthiz carrying a scimitar. ~He is wounded and not using his best weapon...~ he mentally grumbled.

"Nauthiz," he said quietly, "Pull back and use your bow...you are wounded. I can be in front..."

Whatever happens, he then turns back to face the front and looks/listens carefully.

Ulgren keeps the wall of fire in existence

Gilan finishes off the orc zombie with a great twist, the creature snaps on half.

Grymash catches his breath but also issues the chance for the zombie to 'come clean' so to speak. A voice echoes through the chamber from somewhere beyond the wall of flames, "Your sad devotion to that child god will be your doom outlander"

Mac clears the air that 'Mister Mouthy' refers to the being that just piped up again.

Trellus goes to Grymash and heals him with his wand

Anuk relaxes some, but still keeps a vigil eye and ear trained beyond the wall.

Bohdi moves his lights to the end of the hall revealing a door. His detect magic spell shows everythin, including the very air to be magical. It is blinding to gaze upon and purple and black bands leap and snap about revealing the school to be of the necromantc arts.

Guloith and Aiden continue to lead the group, but Aiden's sharp eye picks out a discoloration on the floor. Right where he and Guloith were about to step. It is about 1 foot wide and stretches across the width of the floor.

Grymash struggles to his feet, looking around the chamber searching from where the voice had boomed from. He strikes himself soundly across his chest while mutter a few words of power. Healing energy surges through him, though not as potent as Trellus' dose. (Spontaneous cast Cure Moderate Wounds with Spiritual Weapon. Healed 14 points.)

He then shouts back, "Bigun Talk froms Hidin' Place, yooz SUN-BAKED, PIGGIE DUMPIN', DUNGWORM ... PIECE OF uhh, AAAUUGGHHH!" Clearly aggrivated when he ran out of common words so he proceeded to continue on in Orc. And the speech that followed next from his mouth was a collection of words so vile, so wretched, that you didnt need to know the language to feel your ears starting to bleed! "YEAH, DAT RIGHT ... GRY SAID IT!!" He ends it with a spit and a grunt. The taste in his mouth being quite foul.

Satisfied that everyone's thread is more or less straight, Trellus puts away his wands, and holds out his holy symbol like a torch.

"OK dudes, everybody ready to weave some more?"
The blond man looks at the columns critically. How to get to the other end of this chamber without letting the treadles behind them is gonna be a problem.

"Grymash, you and Anuk and Flea head down the left (east) side. Mac, you and Gilan and the new dude -- what IS your name, anyway? -- head down the right (west). Me and Jake down the middle. Once you get past a column stop and make sure the whole pack gets on line before passing the next column. When the treadle jumps you, yell."

Trellus moves to the middle, and waits for the Bloodpack to take up positions.

"Keep that wall up a bit longer."

Flea, meanwhile, finishes her task of burning the bodies, and distastefully returns to the group. She wonders where Bodhi is and worries a bit about him...has he gotten himself in trouble yet? Will she see him again? Oh, best not to ask such worrying questions aloud, she thinks to herself.

"A t-t-trap?" Bohdi quavered. He backed away slowly, back up the narrow hallway. "Wunjos, this entire place is saturated with magic. Even the air! I've never seen anything like it! The signs are that there is necromancy at work all around us, in addition to the warding spells in the carvings and on the coffins. If that--that--whatever that is, is a trigger to something magical, the whole place will be affected."

"I don't like this. We shouldn't be wandering off like this on our own. Squork tells me that the battle in the next room is fairly well in hand. We should go back."

Bohdi had a disturbing thought. Squinting, he peered at the room through his spectacles of Detect Magic for any sign of illusion magic at work.

In the smaller hall, the group stops at Aiden's mention of a trap. Bohdi reveals what his detect magic spell has shown him and an uneasy feling creeps through the group as a whole. The trap, or suspect area is easily enough stepped over, but is it magical or mechanical. Unfortunately non are skilled in this arena.

Trellus gathers his troops and puts forth a plan to sweep the room in realtive safety of numbers, wholly expecting an attack.
Grymash heals himself a bit and Anuk and Flea make their way over.
Mac and Gilan take up and head for the right side with Ulgren coming in thier wake. Trellus moves to center stage and Jake also positions with him

Her senses alert to anything untoward, Flea grabs her hooked hammer. Rolling the leather covered handle nervously in her right hand as she seeks a comfortable grip, she tries to be quiet as she tags along beside her buddy Anuk.

The rogue is distracted, however, by too many thoughts running through her mind. She is a little suspicious of the strange newcomers showing up at just the right time, but Trellus' easy acceptance of them diminishes her concern. Where did Tishe' go? Does the big one who took her place know where she is? Then, there is concern for those who are no longer in plain view...well, Bohdi anyway. Her mind drifts a little as she wonders what Zarnan City must be like, and she isn't as attentive as she should be.

Grymash looks over at the new addition from Rattledam. (Intelligence -1) Grymash hasn't clue who Ulgren is. He should, Rattledam isnt that big of a place. But now, after being away from home so long, Grymash has a hard time remembering anyone, except those in his pack. Turning to Trellus, he mutters in his ear, "Do Trellus remembers whoz dat dude is froms Rattledam? Gry no remembers."

After hearing Trellus' instructions, Grymash takes a minute to figure out which way 'left' (Wisdom 11). "Hmmm, lefty looty, righty bitey! OK!" He guesses correctly. Gry advances that way, waiting for 'Nuk and Flea to follow.

DM Note. Same combat, Gry's fatigued still.

Ulgren ceases concentration, which means the wall will dissipate, 'in a little more than a minute.' the rest of the Blood pack take up position and wait. Several thoughts suddenly land upon Tishe. What did happen to her. she touched the wall and vaished. The Dragon tear gem Trellus possess begins to glow orange as he thinks on her. Nothing. Brighter and brighter the gem glows. Nothing. It begins to actually get warm and were it not for the armor over it might have blinded all in the room, but finally there is a soft whisper in return. It is almost imperceptable, but filled with the emotion of joy. Trellus and indeed the entire Bloodpack here a single whispered word from Tishe. 'Home' and then everything falls to silence and the daylight glows of divine magic.

There is no time to savor the thought of Tishe's return home and the obvious happiness accompanying it. Bursting from the Fire and closing quickly on Trellus is Skalti. The creature maes less noise than a gliding hawk. His blackend skin is tight with death and there is a tangible field of cold emmanating from him. "You shall die first Cleric of Falsehoods."

His dark fist impacts directly to Trellus chest. The overly thin gaunt creature of death is terribly strong and quick. Though at teh last moment you managed to turn partially aside and lessen the force of impact[Hit AC 27 Dmg 9+3=12 + 1 negative level. [A creature takes the following penalties for each negative level it has gained:

-1 on all skill checks and ability checks.
-1 on attack rolls and saving throws.
-5 hit points.
-1 effective level (whenever the creature's level is used in a die roll or calculation, reduce it by one for each negative level).
If the victim casts spells, she loses access to one spell as if she had cast her highest-level, currently available spell. (If she has more than one spell at her highest level, she chooses which she loses.) In addition, when she next prepares spells or regains spell slots, she gets one less spell slot at her highest spell level]

The entire group feels the temperature of the room fall about 20 degrees. The floor, ceiling, walls and even the columns shimmer and become thick frosted ice.

The Group from Ice Peak, too feel the temperature fall and witness teh transformation of the structure about them as they head back down the hall. Through the icy walls, the form of a creature emerging from the fire can be seen as it attacks one of the Bloodpack.

A loud grunts comes from the dark skinned one and he acknowledges Aiden's sugggestion with a nod.

"True wunjo, even if it doesn't do anything to the Bevroren Donden."

With a grimace of pain Nauth will stow his scimitar and once again unshoulder Ull'Heimdall's bow.

Ulgrens eye tightens as the black figure emerges from his wall of fire, "By all that is holy," Ulgren mutters as he raises his rands and softly intones a quick incantation. Two rays shoot from Ulgrens outstretched right hand and streak towards Skalti, (Ranged Touch Attack 22, 27). Ulgrens looks over at his companions, "I dont have many fire spells left but I will cast what I have."

If the rays hit they do 17 and 12 points of damage Spell resistance 22.

Bohdi hustled back up the chamber with his companions. With a mental command, he sent Squork winging into the next room to alight upon Flea's shoulder.

Much to nearly everyone's surprise, Squork spoke! In a croaking voice, the raven said, "Miss, my stupid master is coming back up from the other room. He tells me that there's a trap back there that you might want to look at. He's too scared to go near it himself, of course."

To any surprised looks, Squork simply cawed and inquired defensively, "What? Surprised a bird can talk? It's no wonder, given how much my stupid master and his friends are constantly gabbing. I can't get a word in edgewise." He sniffed indignantly.

Gilanbear moves five feet towards the thing that use to be this Skalti. A series of rumbling roars issues from his throat as he calls upon nature's power. It is still weak but at least it is there. Lips pull back to reveal white teeth that could be a smile.

Flea clicks her heels together, activating the magic of her boots* and skirts around the abomination that is this undead frozen thing. She stands next to Mac, as the Bloodpack surround it and strikes out with the bludgening end of her hooked hammer (Hit AC 23, 6 pts dmg, 20 pts flanking dmg.)

Grymash's tired, bloodshot eyes sudden become narrow with anger. A low growl grinds in his gut. He turns back around and heads back to Trellus. Unable to get their in time to swing, he prepares himself with another spell granted to by Gargul.

Launching himself forward Anuk moves quickly to get as clear a view as possible of old Skalti (moves 30'to L3). Stopping short, he raises his compound bow, two arrows already nocked. With a single *twing* of his bowstring, both arrows fly loose and streak toward the undead fiend. (manyshot)

Jake steps into the open space next to Trellus (J3), facing the undead guy with some amount of fear. He wants to drawl something tasteless, or insulting, but his tongue momentarily fails him. Instead, he just grunts with some effort and tries to score some good hits on the guy.
(Swinging with Power Attack -2, forgot to include the bless bonus. AC 18 and Ac 17, did 13 and 17 physical damage and 6 and 6 cold damage on each respective swing).

Upon reaching the doorway, Garret sees Skalti's attack and the quick and devastating counter strike by the Blood Pack. "By all Domi holds..." Turning to his Wunjos, "The Pack is quite engaged right now we must make do ourselves. Mund see to the trap if you can. We must forward."

Ulgren says a few brief words of power and extends his finger. A pair of fierey rays lance towards the undead creature who reacts in a horribly unexpected way. That of a great smile and too soon Ulgren knows why. Both rays rebound from the icy skin and catch Ulgren full in the chest. (dmg 29)

Even as Trellus calls for Gry, Mac is there. His axe levels across Skali's midsection, but almost faster than Mac can follow; he spins left and pirouettes about the blade. As Mac moves by, he strikes out with a well practiced level kick (Hit AC 22 dmg 11+3 plus level loss
-1 on all skill checks and ability checks.
-1 on attack rolls and saving throws.
-5 hit points.
-1 effective level (whenever the creature's level is used in a die roll or calculation, reduce it by one for each negative level).
If the victim casts spells, she loses access to one spell as if she had cast her highest-level, currently available spell. Gilan calls forth a blast of lightning, with the crack of superheated air it strikes home.

Flea activates her boots, doing her best to dismiss her worry and the bird. She closes quickly and strikes. The hammer reverberates in her hand, coming off awkwardly against the ice-like armor encasing the creature.

Negative energy tears at the very soul of the cleric and he backs away. Domi's symbol of strength shimmers into existence and strikes. It finds the creature 'Skalti' far too elusive as prey.

Grymash pounds down from beyond the pillar and casts his strength increasing spell. Fatigued as he is, it looks as if he will need that edge back.

A pair of arrows fly from Anuks single pull, but again he twists away from the strikes at the last moment.

Jake is there as well to defend his pack, but fear grips his heart and his attacks lose focus and are repelled by the ice armor.

"You can run false prophet, but I will follow!" Skalti pursues Trellus and launches another quick strike to his chest. htis attack, the cleric is more prepared for and his shield blocks it. (Hit AC 17)

Garret, Bohdi and the rest gather in the doorway becoming witness to the fight occurring. Squork alights on Flea shoulder, but soon finds himself airborne as she darts off under Hastened speed to battle. Not somewhere he really wants to be anyway.

"But they need our help, Garrett!" Bohdi exclaimed as he watched their former comrade's undead form attacking their new-found friends. As Squork winged his way back to Bohdi, the gnome moved forward (to Q2) and cast a familiar Flare spell at Skalti, hoping to slow him, if only slightly.

(Cast: Flare. FORT save DC 14 negates; spell resistance check, if applicable = 16. If Skalti fails his save, he is dazzled and suffers a -1 penalty to attacks for 10 rounds.)

Looking at the others, his eyes tearing from the brightness of the flame, even covering his eyes somewhat, "Nauthiz...I do not think that we can add anything to that battle..." as he nodded his head towards the melee of Skaldi and the Blood Pack.

"They carry enough skill and magics, that if he defeats them, we would surely follow..." A wry grin started to appear, "But that does not mean we cannot protect them from others while they battle..."

"Garrett...Bohdi..." as his voice then rumbling towards them, "Your minds..." as Aiden seemed actually a bit uncomfortable, "are far more insightful into riddles. Can either of you remember anything of what the Ice Ants spoke, or the riddle that was upon the door that may aid us? Or even those scratchings upon the burial areas?"

Ulgren gasps as his rays rebound of off Skalti and staggers. Ulgren groans and his blue face becomes ashen his eye squints and teh drow manages a wry smile,"That hurts, oy that hurts badly." Ulgren pushes himslef off of the wall and moves slowly forward to J4. Ulgren looks at Skalti, "I hope you rot, you miserable excuse of..." Ulgren's words wander off as the drow mage raises his hands from his side and then brings them forward. All around him feel an increase to their speed and attacks. (Cast haste all allies, up to 7, within 55 feet are affected.) Spellcraft 32 to figure out what Skalti did to reflect back the rays.

The skinny halfling girl looks up at the men looking down at her.

She turns and heads back up the corridor to where Aiden spotted the trap.

"Now, if you wanted someone's pocket picked or needed a gemstone appraised, I'm your gal. I even do pretty good at getting out of tight places and I'm a wiz with rope."

The ill-equipped rogue takes a close look at the trap all the while keeping up a rambling one-sided conversation. Breaking off in mid-sentence, she nods her head.

"I think I got it figured out. Guess we'll find out quick."

Trellus backs up another step [L1], painfully aware that this creature is forcing him away from the dudes that really need the healing.

He's also pretty sure "Skalti" made good use of that minute or so he had behind the fire wall.

Maybe he can even the odds a bit more....

Trellus casts another spell, and hopes something good happens.

The magic of Flea's boots or the drow's spell add speed to the gnome's movements as she reaches for her last flask of oil, and splashes it on the evil creature attacking Trellus. (Ranged touch attack=27)

"Fire!" she screams, "set him on fire!" The rogue hopes Gilanbear's lightening or some other source might set the oil alight and melt the frozen thing. (If oil is lit 1d3 dmg per round for 2 rounds at DM's discretion to roll.)
