As soon as the party moves on to the Giggling Ghost, Fabersham and his team get to work.
Sometimes, things just have to be done the old fashioned way, and the staff are soon beavering away, polishing tables, sweeping floors, re-arranging the furniture.
A few hours later, everything is back to normal.

Valdor finds Fabersham and the head cook and says,"You have both done exceptionally well. Save some of that dragonsteak for me later. If Parnoth hadn't acted like a bung head, noone would have said a word. I actually thought it quite funny, but I had to keep up the politically correct act. One of the things I WON'T miss after I retire. Thank you both for a job well done. Tell your crews the same for me please."
He heads on into the portal leading to the Ghost.

Cori stretches as she watches Valdor move off to talk to some of the staff. "Retirement." She mulls over the idea in her head for awhile and then shakes her head. "Still a little young for retirement but..." She smiles as she ponders some of the things she can do now. There is a paper on theoretical magic as it applies to plants that she was planning to write...now maybe the time to start it.

Two of the staff are carrying piles of plates toward the kitchen as Lian heads past them toward the portal. "Hey, being a Dragon, do you get a lot of women?" one of them calls out toward the disappearing monk. "Will you shut it? You'll get us both sacked," hisses the other to his outspoken comrade. "Cook's already in a mood. He'll make us lick these things clean." "Awww, I'm not meaning any harm, and it IS an interesting question, don'tcha think?"
Valdor's assurances work wonders. The well-oiled machine that is the castle is back on a good footing. Who could ever doubt it?
As for retirement...... two small figures, accompanied by a monsterous construct, appear not to have heard this particular rumour and are currently heading for the castle.

Just before Ve leaves for the party at the Giggling Ghost he locates Fabersham. His voice the most serious it has been for sometime. "I require a 24 hour multiple guard at the door to my room. No one but myself is to enter, including the guard themselves no matter what is heard or elsewise believed to be inside." With a nod of understanding to the matter, Ve heads into the Giggling Ghost
