Hanging on for his dear life he hears the sound of Tib's hooves clicking and clacking on the rough ground as she surges forward. Getting his feet from under him he looks for the bats that were mentioned.

Brahmah hears but does not see something casting a spell, now in front of him. Not knowing exactly where it is, he swings aimlessly as Zeoll is warned of the presence. He can tell, his second strike may have been true, if not for the creatures total concealment. Spot DC 30 Highlight to display spoiler: { You can see foot indentations at U 16}

Tiba uses her ability to call forth lightening on a pretty clear night and slams a bolt into a random spot, avoiding Brahmah (and hopefully the unseen Zeoll.) Random spot will be a 1 in 12 chance. The number 1 being the roll needed to hit the right spot. Rolled 10, but nice try Then makes movement. (50')
Spot DC 40 Highlight to display spoiler: { You can see foot indentations at U 16}

Zeoll still invisible, begins a song to inspire his comrades, then "creeps" to another location.
His Dire Bats are in an area on the roof they believe something once stood, but become bewildered by Gecktars' Silence Spell. They are then subject to full damage from the Delayed Blast Fireball spell that erupts on the roof, that same round causing them to disappear altogether. (Failed Reflex saves, for full 39 damage.)
Spot DC 30 Highlight to display spoiler: { You can see foot indentations at U 16}

Winterglade runs as fast as he can forward, toward the action. Winterglade only Highlight to display spoiler: {With your height advantage, you can see that all the militia on the roof survived the wimpy damage from the Delayed Blast Fireball, but they are now in danger of being burned alive as the roof and the recently administered tar used for weather treating burst into flames.} (295')

Gecktar pulls a scroll of True Seeing and after using it, can see..Gecktar only Highlight to display spoiler: {A gnome in adventuring gear, standing 3' 2' tall, at U 16} (210')

Theorex, hanging on for dear life, he gets off after Tiba calls forth nature. In turn, he knows there are militia on the roof that would take the damage of his spell, as well as the summoned Dire Bats, he then watches as the Delayed Blast Fireball explodes catching the roof on fire. Not having an action, he decides to grab Tiba around her waist again to finish her move. If you want another action then this, let me know, but I didn't think you wanted to harm the militia.

The roof of the castle begins to blaze, burning those warriors caught in the magical inferno. The screams a good sign, that many survived the blast. The dire bats, however, were not so fortunate and disappear in wink.

A swarm of every race, storm toward the Southern end of the valley, where they hear they will make their escape.

From in between Brahmah and Zeoll a child like voice can be heard, "Jacktar will still die and you will pay.", then a single word Valaio Spellcraft DC 20 Highlight to display spoiler: {Teleport}

Brahmah and Zeoll get a parting shot if their weapons are in hand. AC 20 with 50% concealment. Concentration DC of 26 must be overcome to cancel spell.

Zeoll (AC17, HP25 of 50) (heroism, invisible, inspired))
Monday July 28th, 2008 9:48:30 PM

Cayzle OOC to DM: Zeoll does not have a weapon in hand, but he is armed because he has paw attacks. Can he take a swipe with a paw?

Or even better, can he use his parting shot to try to grapple the enemy?

DM Buzz: Yes and yes.

Hearing Theorex's advice Winterglade focuses his sight entirely on the roof. "There are taurs trapped up there!"

[Not sure if we are still doing this by rounds? If so, Winterglade will run in the direction of the castle, covering 105 ft. If there is more time to spare, he will use the following spells to aid the people in the fire: Wall of Stone to create a ramp for them to quickly and safely get to the ground and Protection from Energy to help if somebody is trapped. He will also use the fact that he is flying to try to carry wounded to the ground. Please let me know which spells I got to expend in this way.]

Gecktar AC22 HP 25/76

Gecktar rushes to the point where he has seen the creature.

[Depending on the actions of Brahmah and Zeoll. If they don't catch the creature he will confirm that it has disapeared.]

Zeoll (AC17, HP25 of 50) (heroism, invisible, inspired))  d100=57 ; d20+9=26 ; d20+5=24 ; d4=4 ;
Tuesday July 29th, 2008 8:11:16 AM

Zeoll lunges at the invisible caster. His miss chance is 50%. A 57! Zeoll's ears lead him to the right spot!

Now, of course, Zeoll has honored Domi with all his heart for all his life. And of course, Domi is famous as The Brawler, who loves to wrestle. But the sad fact is that since he was a cub wrestling with his brothers and sisters, in all the time after that, the bard has never engaged in the art of grappling. He is entirely untrained. So all he has to go on is instinct and a quick prayer.

"Tomi, help me!" he says in his native wemic tongue.

But he does have some things going for him. He is invisible, which gives him a +2 to hit and negates the spell caster's Dex bonus to AC. He is inspired with courage (+1 bonus). He is feeling heroic, thanks to his spell (+2 bonus).

First, does he even grab the target? Per the Wold House Rules for Grapples, he has to grab and then grapple. Zeoll's BAB is +5. He has a -1 size modifier. He has +5 per mods above. His melee touch attack to grab the caster is a 26! He has grabbed the caster! This attack, of course, ends Zeoll's invisibility.

Now to hold on! Zeoll's grapple check is a d20 +5 BAB +0 Str -4 Non-proficient +4 large size. He has to beat the defenders Grapple DC. Does he gain the advantage of Inspire Courage and Heroism? The rules are ambiguous, so it is up to the DM.

Zeoll's grapple check is a 24! He rolled a natural 19! Will it be enough to grapple? We'll see. If so, Zeoll inflicts 1d4 nonlethal damage -- 4 hp. (Wow, the die roller loves me today!)

(Note! A grappled caster "can attempt to cast a spell while grappling or even while pinned (see below), provided its casting time is no more than 1 standard action, it has no somatic component, and you have in hand any material components or focuses you might need. If the spell is one that you can cast while grappling, you must make a Concentration check (DC 20 + spell level) or lose the spell. You don't have to make a successful grapple check to cast the spell."

So even grappled, the caster still stands a good chance of blipping away.

Zeoll shouts, "BRRING THE SILENCE OVERR HERRE!"

Brahmah AC 25, Hps 102/117 (Heyoo AC 16, Hps 30/45)  d20+15=31 ; d100=79 ; d20+15=24 ; d4=1 ;
Tuesday July 29th, 2008 9:35:28 AM

Brahmah joins the Grapple (provided Zeoll is successful) and helps to subdue the caster by pummeling them into submission (using his sword pummels :)).

Spot of 24 (+4 vs human or centaur and +2 magical beasts), plus any assistance (+2) from Zeoll when he clearly grapples 'something', should add up to at least 30. :)

(Base is 10, Mod is +6, size -1, 16 roll = hits AC 31.... miss chance 79%... a success) An assisted grapple, maybe doing 1 damage.

Round 10/DM Buzz  d20+17=32 ;
Tuesday July 29th, 2008 11:24:55 PM

I know it is semantics, but when attacking an invisible creature, one needs to successfully hit first BEFORE the percentile is rolled to miss. I don't know why it would be important, but it might. In this situation though, it does not matter.

Tiba with thoughts of Jacktar in mind, charges the seriously wounded warrior, which has taken a bunch of damage already this evening. You didn't roll any to hit rolls to touch attack or grapple, just the spot check, so I really don't know what to do for you here Tiba

Theorex theorizes the mage is leaving and suggests a healing of the wounded. He knows, his eyes are still near but Jacktar is much faster then they are and the ones heading toward the roof are not there quite yet. (30' per round is very slow over this large area you have been running around in.)

Winterglade yells out there are people on the roof taking damage and runs forward to the now burning castle. After his full movement he is still 190' from the castle and now far enough away to make a descending bridge from the roof next round.

Gecktar makes a full movement toward the scuffle arriving 10' away. (Last stated distance, 210' feet from castle.)

Zeoll mutters a short prayer to Domi in Wemic and recieves an answer, as he grabs the invisible creature and proceeds to tie his arms around the small thing. He can hear a joint twist and pop with a small cry of pain coming from whatever is in his grasp.

Brahmah knows he is to large to help in a grapple with Zeoll, against a small creature. If he tried to attack the invisible crature that Zeoll has grappled, he may hit Zeoll as well. If you hit the AC and miss the 50% mark, Zeoll would take the damage. I can't find a rule on this, if one of you can, please let me know where it is. Post a back post if you still want to get attacks in. His Concentration DC is 32, made against your possible hits.

Mayhem continues as Jacktar watches Tiba charge toward him. He steps out of the way of the charge and looks at her curiously as Larmane steps in between the two eyeing her suspiciously.

The being, caught in the clutches of the wemic says a word and Zeoll can tell, he will be leaving the area, but Zeoll being in contact with one being teleported has an option of being a willing recipient of the spell as well, but who can tell in what situation the two will arrive?

Winterglade AC27 Hp 57(77)
Wednesday July 30th, 2008 4:19:23 AM

Winterglade moves up to the castle some more [move action, covers 35 ft] and uses the power of Brawler to create a ramp for the taurs on the roof to safely get out of flames and on the ground [standard action, casts Wall of Stone].

Zeoll (AC17, HP25 of 50) (heroism, invisible, inspired))
Wednesday July 30th, 2008 10:53:49 AM

Zeoll thinks about it for a split second. Could he possible defeat a wizard who can cast delayed blast fireballs? With only half his hit points remaining? What if the teleport brought him to a wizard's lair filled with golems and minions? And even if he won somehow, what would he do to get back home?

In his youth, Zeoll would have picked the foolhardy path. But he did not spend years in the Lands of Rest without learning something about the value of life. He does not follow the caster to wherever it is he is teleporting.

[OOC for next time -- in general, you can attack with a held weapon into a grapple with no chance of hitting a friend. Firing a missile into a grapple includes a chance to hit a friend. In this case, a large creature grappling a small invisible creature, some chance to hit a friend seems reasonable ... if Brahmah hit Zeoll's AC, I would suggest.]

Zeoll fears that the too-clever gnome will teleport only a short distance away -- say, to the edge of a fireball's range. So the very first thing he does is activate his invisibility ring and move 40 feet off!

DM Buzz: I would normally agree if the opponent being grappled WAS NOT INVISIBLE.

Brahmah AC 25, Hps 102/117 (Heyoo AC 16, Hps 30/45)  d8+6=9 ; d20+15=32 ; d100=14 ;
Wednesday July 30th, 2008 12:41:07 PM

OOC:If Brahmah couldn't have grappled, then he would have attempted the hit. If you let me use the hit and percentile from last round, I will just say he hit with his horns, because the bonus is the same.
Last rounds rolls...(Base is 10, Mod is +6, size -1, 16 roll = hits AC 31.... miss chance 79%... a success) An assisted grapple, maybe doing 1 damage.

Back post: If you allow totals from last rolls, Brahmah hits with his horns AC 31, 79%, for 9 damage. If you will not allow me to keep the rolls, he will (provided there are plants around), cast his Entangle from his tattoo, centered just beyond the struggling Zeoll and out of range of hitting himself or any other friends.

If none of this is plausible, he stands staring at the spot, wishing to attack, but not wanting to hurt Zeoll. He wishes to Aid in some manner. (Rolling for Aid attempt to Zeoll's attacks, hitting AC32 to Aid, but rolling a 14% on concealment.)

Theorex AC 21 Hps 50/59
Wednesday July 30th, 2008 10:00:25 PM

Looking for someone to aid. Theorex watches for enemies and waits.

Carnage abounds/DM Buzz  d20+5=14 ;
Thursday July 31st, 2008 12:01:46 AM

Wintertglade moves and casts a spell, to help those on the roof.

Zeoll having had experience in the realm of Gargul, decides it is more wise to not follow the miniature wizard to his desired location. He turns invisible.

Brahmah gets some small satisfaction knowing, the small mage left in pain as his head butt lands true and blood splatters now adorn his left horn

Tiba continues to interject herself in between Jacktar and any would be caster near the burning castle.

Theorex looks to aid whoever may be in need.

With the screams on the roof, you can see a male centaur helping another down the steady stone bridge that was created. Clothes smoke like embers those who leave the now burning castle. Chests of goods are hauled out from first the upper rooms to salvage all that is possible. A large chest is brought before Jacktar by a couple of the militia. He bends down and removes a key from around his neck. The leather strap crumbles at being handled. he pulls out crates of potions and hands them to the others nearby. "These are potions of Cure Moderate Wounds, Larmane was nice enough to bring with him. I am glad they were spared." Everyone gets five to pass around to the various wounded throughout the community.

A now steady stream of people leave the dwellings as those closest to the north are now catching fire from the latrines.

Workers are breaking down their equipment in the industry section of the valley, preparing it for transposrt and destroying that which can not be carried.

After about an hour, the non combatants are exiting to the South through the escape exit. Jacktar and Larmane are looking better after downing a few of the potions themselves he looks toward Tiba and winks at her, "Thanks for thinking of my safety back there, it's appreciated." When all the group is gathered, he will address them,, "What now my friends? I feel I need to stay with my people, those that have suffered need leadership, but now, I really want to go into town and kill that Blackmaine."

Larmane remains quiet, willing to follow what ever path Jacktar takes him on.

Gecktar AC22 HP 25/76
Thursday July 31st, 2008 4:27:15 AM

"We could understand your feelings, but this would be a desperate fool act. You need to stay with your people. Nothing else matters for now. Blackmane will face his judges one day or another."

"Still we need more information, and the small creature that assaulted us could bring us some. This should be done now."

He turns to the Chosen, "Despite the fact that many need healing, I thing Larmane and other of the camp can take care of this. We should focus on this small creature, this was a gnome. I've seen him. He has unleashed many powers in this battle. Much more than us I thnik. So I will try to locate him and if possible, we should find him today, before he will regain his powers."

"I need few minutes to try to locate him, by asking Domi to send me visions."

Gecktar let the healing to the other and asks Larmane for insences and cast divination to try to locate le the gnome he has seen.

DM Buzz: If your going to cast the spell Divination, I need for you to be more specific please.

Similar to augury but more powerful, a divination spell can provide you with a useful piece of advice in reply to a question concerning a specific goal, event, or activity that is to occur within one week.

Winterglade Hp 57(77)
Thursday July 31st, 2008 6:40:05 AM

Winterglade is very busy, initially helping wounded down the roof, then tending to the injured both with the potions from Jacktar, all of which he passes around, and his own spells [I'll use up all spells that can be converted spontaneously to healing to aid the wounded].

Later he finds Brahmah, says: "hold still", unceremoniously grabs him by the horn and starts to carefully gather the blood of the mage on a clean handkerchief. "We might prove to be very lucky to have this. This will make scrying on him much, much easier."

Later still he can be found helping digging graves for those who died in the blast of the runes. His face is pale and he doesn't say a single word.

When he joins the party later on there is no sparkle in his eye. It seems as if a part of him died this evening. "This carnage there is Winterglade's fault. He should have known better. He shouldn't have underestimated the enemy. He should have acted differently in combat, too. What a disaster."

"Captain Jacktar, if you act on impulse and deliver yourself to Blackmane then you have played into his hands. He might know your nature and hope you act out your just outrage. He'll be ready for you. You wouldn't stand a chance."

"Give us a bit of time, Captain. We will do our best to remove Blackmane."

"For now Winterglade suggests we rest, heal, and restore our powers. Jacktar, is there a font of holy water to be found anywhere in your settlement that would be appropriate for scrying? Winterglade would like to start the day by taking a look at our attacker."

Brahmah AC 25, Hps 102/117 (Heyoo AC 16, Hps 30/45)
Thursday July 31st, 2008 1:48:43 PM

Brahmah rolls his eyes up toward Glade as he cleans the horn. "Erm, uh... scrying? If you say so."

Mac(GrahamD - initial post)
Thursday July 31st, 2008 5:22:25 PM

In the aftermath a minotaur approaches Brahmah. Standing 10 foot and a fraction tall, the olive skinned, black furred taur is bedecked in a red bandana with a blue metal WLA badge, an unusual (steelgrass) chainshirt, black breeches, a backpack and several weapons (one - a greataxe of rare metal - is in hand, but at his side). Easily noticed are scars (a set of 4 - pawlike) running from his right cheek, down the right side and back of his neck and under the armour, and burn scars running out of the cuffs of his breeches, down his legs to his hooves. Attached to his backback is a leather satchel bearing the mark of Domi.

"Forgive my intrusion and my delay - I have recently arrived in these parts, and would not pin my colours to a side that might be working for evil. That", he says, pointing in the direction of the latrines, "removed any doubts."

"My name is Machesthai, though 'Mac' is fine. I offer my services as a weaponsmith and warrior, if you can use them. In return I can use your guidance."

He smiles, glancing from Brahmah to the few faces of visible people he appears to have been working in concert with in the later part of the battle.

Zeoll does what he can to help the wounded. But more to the point, he wants to know more about the tiny caster. He gets a description from Gecktar. He casts Speak with Plants and Speak with Animals, and talks with the flora and fauna. Where did he come from? How did he get here? Did anyone notice anything?

He also casts Detect Magic to see if there are any lingering magic trails in the area.

Stroking his hair absently Theorex says "Well if someone has something that the wizard left behind perchance on of us can track him and hit him where he lives and get information from him. Does anyone have that ability?"

Fond Farewells /DM Buzz
Friday August 1st, 2008 12:46:02 AM

The smell of burning flesh overwhelms the fragrant aroma of nature. The music of owls and wolves are not heard over the sounds of flames consuming all that it can touch.

Some order is restored as people begin making their way out of the place they tried to call home. The valley is no longer safe and a new location must be found until the problem of Blackmaine is resolved.

Many of the militia are wounded, if not from battle, pulling out valuables and people from out of burning buildings.

Gecktar tells Jacktar, he should not fall into any traps that may be in place for him. He asks Larmane for incense and the druid reaches into the chest the potions came from and hands him three before shaking his head and laughing. Gecktar needs to be specific when casting divination spells.

Winterglade helps as much as possible in helping those alive. Collects evidence from the scene of the crime and when they are as safe as they can be, he turns to assisting the dead. The flames around the latrines are extremely hot by now. The bodies in the area just bones and burning body fat, wrapped with seared flesh. All unrecognizable. He suggests to Jacktar he should let the group handle Blackmaine for now.

Brahmah allows Goodbarrel to clean his large horn.

Mac introduces himself to the group and makes it clear, his allegience to one side or another was in question, until after what he just witnessed. He would like to get involved. Brahnah recognizes the badge of the WLA he wears boldly displayed on his horned forehead.

Zeoll initially helps those wounded, but soon turns to his own devices of getting information.
Unfortunately, the plants have been in contact with so many two and four legged creatures, it would be impossible to give you information on just one. No animals except Heyoo and Assap seem to be near. Witnesses are very few as well. No one remembers seeing him after the Chosen arrived, "but he was here for a day before then." Larmane explains.

Theorex wonders if the group has the power to find him immedietly.

The group considers all of this for awhile as Jacktar tells Larmane "Get to the front of the refugees and lets get them out of here. I will bring up the rear". Larmane wishes the group well as he heads South. Jacktar shakes the hands of those now together as his allies. "Domi guide your path. I'm not sure which way you want to go from here. To the South are some old mine shafts that lead to a secret garden Larmane has cultivated. We will seal it off from this end of the valley. Larmane says we can create a new entrance when it is necessary. Hopefully you can contact me when I am needed and I will come with as many weapon wielding arms as possible."
Jacktar waits for questions, before he picks up the large chest brought out to him earlier and he throws it over his back.

The glare of the fire grows larger as now the industrial buildings are aflame, so that their hard work is not used by the enemy, bandits, or both.

Winterglade Hp 57(77)
Friday August 1st, 2008 4:49:48 AM

Winterglade wipes sweat and soot from his brow. Looking the newcomer minotaur up and down he finally nods.

"Goodbarrel bids you welcome, Machesthai. You were talking about delay... were you summoned here? And, uh - that's a nasty scratch you have there."

Winterglade is a rather small and stringy centaur with a white mane - oh wait, that just got burned off. Now he's bald. He wears a heavy armor and carries a huge shield, but no weapons aside from a small dagger at this side. A silver amulet in a shape of anvil hangs on his chest. He seems rather skittish and nervous and almost never stands completely still, either drumming fingers on something, twiddling his thumbs, whistling or some such.

"Stay safe, Captain Jacktar. If a message comes from us it will most likely come through Sending."

"Let us move somewhere safe and rest, yes? We shouldn't take on any new dangers until we have recovered from this onslaught we have just been through."

[What time of day is it?]

[Health check, people: how many of you still need healing? I'm 20 hp down and completely tapped out on cures. I'm not sure if Gecktar has enough to heal up everybody; if not I'll finish up the healing after we rest.]

[Hi Graham! Welcome to the slaughterhou- er, game. I'm Marcin. Winterglade is a pure cleric and a pacifist - in combat I heal and boost.]

Zeoll (AC17, HP25 of 50) (heroism))
Friday August 1st, 2008 7:25:03 AM

Zeoll is still half down on hp. He used his remaning seven daily goodberries treating wounded folk worse off than himself.

The liontaur seer sees that a new minotaur has offered his services. "Hail, brrotherr Taurr," Zeoll says to Mac.

Zeoll wears leather armor, and carries a small drum and a large sword. His cloak is really magnificent. A living wreath of leaves and tendrils sits on his head, and a pair of dark spectacles are perched on his nose. He has a tattoo on each arm.

If you are versed in wemic lore and custom, you can tell from the beads and feathers braided in his mane and tail-tuft that he is both a bard and a druid, affiliated with the Aene Clan of wemics.

"Hail again and well met," Zeoll says after a moment. "Tell me, brrotherr, did you feel a call to join us? Did Domi -- who the minotaurrs name Imod -- move you to join us? Of courrse, not all those who join us arre overrtly called, though clearrly Domi calls them to us nonetheless." Zeoll grins at Winterglade.

More to the point, Zeoll is sad to report that his investigative powers have come up blank. "Some seerr I am!" he laments. "Maybe in my drreams I can find a clue." Some might think that "in my dreams" means in a fantasy that won;t come true, but Zeoll means his words quite literally.

Looking at Jacktar, Tiba blushes slightly, then smiles.

After a moment's thought, however, her face becomes serious.

"The lady who found the original body was ssaying something about someone else being brought in by the male who was found dead at the latrine. Do you know who she's talking about? I think she said they were brought in this afternoon, either before or just after we arrived in your camp."

Looking at Larmane, she tries to think about what was said at dinner, but can't seem to remember. "This might have to do with who attacked just now, if you happen to know."

[Stats just in case things go the shape of your preferred fruit. :)]

"Welcome's returned Goodbarrel", he says and nods to the centaur, "'Mac' is fine. Most don't frame my full name well." Perhaps subconsciously he shifts his weight from one foot to the other and back. "I don't know about being summoned - I've just been travelling. Somewhere along the way I recognised some landmarks on the mainland from the stories I'd heared from my father and uncles. The tales of how they travelled to Islas Tauri, and then returned home. Then it was a matter of hopping ships... The scars? Old wound that never healed right - I'm not good at telling stories, but I hope one day to be able to share that one well. Maybe the other as well."

Hearing the hail, Mac turns to see a liontaur.

For two seconds he stands stone still as he remembers and imagines. The tension only subsides as in his mind he hears an old friend's words - Warp Down.

"Hail and well met brother taur" he replies. Despite the pause it is an honest greeting. "I'm not sure what you mean. I haven't had a dream or a meeting with Domi, and 'call' might be too strong a word. And, yes, Domi - it is a long story. I have long held faith with Domi, though I relate to him on a more manual level." He opens the flap (with the old symbol for Domi on it) to reveal an assortment of smithing tools. [Mac's coming out of his shell after an awkward moment.]

"Why is it we always get a delivery from Domi when we'd be just as likely to decapitate them as shake their bloody hand!?" He rolls his eyes at Zeoll and jerks his head toward the later comer. He spares a glance at Mac, nods curtly, then waves an airy hand absently at Mac, indicating his WLA badge. "I miss my badge. All this started as we were headed to get the damned thing replaced and to report some odd activity. We got drug into this mess."

"See Jacktar, Larmane! WLA members are already showing up around here. You REALLY need to look into calling them, never you mind the time it might take! Anything might help!"

"I'm Brahmah of the Chosen." He indicates the surrounding half dozen taur friends nearby, and one drow. "Though, I suspect you know that little detail." Says the dark minotaur, who's scarred arms, face and body can just be made out under the extremely tattooed skin. Brahmah's clothes and hair seem to be smoking from places and is charred along his right half. His horns are carved in a sea motif and his tail and left ear are missing. Clearly this taur is a ranger by the cut of his clothes, the two sheathed weapons, one on each hip and a bow tucked behind his pack. But if that doesn't give him away, the fat black bear tagging along at his side would.

The bear moves up to Mac, his lips curl into a sneer and he rears up, roaring. The bear's paws land heavy on Mac's chest as the bear begins licking the minotaur's chin. The bears smells of freshly burnt fur and stale breath.
"Aw! First time he's ever done THAT! Isn't it! He must like you and if the bear doesn't eat you, he must like you. He's Heyoo by the way." Grins the ranger.

"Heyoo? Hi! Nice to meet you. Good lad." He waits for the bear to finish and return to four paws, and then gives him a scratch behind the ear once he's down.

"Gecktar, greetings. I hope to, and hopefully you can help me find my own path when it is time. I'm well, but thank you for asking. Work is good for a good cause."

To the surface drow he replies, "Thank you. Hopefully more wary than worried - it is many years before I expected to be here, and I know it only from stories. Perhaps given I am here I can lay down the ground work for my later visit? Later. For now I need to know the lay of the land."

He looks over towards Brahmah again. It is a 'light dawns in the primeval forest' moment. "Brahmah? Brahmah's Tattoos? Ah... yes... got it... sorry."

The minotaur begins to look frustrated with himself. "...anyway, can't remember what brought us here. But we're here now and there you have it."

The ranger nudges a scorched piece of wood on the ground with a hoof. "Hopefully we'll be able to handle this mess and soon. Was it a gnome for sure Zeoll?" He places the last question to Zeoll.

A time for decisions /DM Buzz
Saturday August 2nd, 2008 5:17:06 PM

The time of day is just past 10:00 PM. The valley air is becoming smoke filled as at least 30 minutes has passed since the departure of the gnome.

Winterglade welcomes Mac to the adventure and mentions an obvious and long ago injury. He bids Jacktar off with the knowledge, he may receive word through magic. Winterglade suggests they find a safe place to rest.

Zeoll, still wounded, he treats others with Goddberries before he welcomes Mac to The Chosen. He wonders, did Domi tell him of his future with the group of heros? Zeoll laments the lack of knowledge he could attain from nature this evening.

Tiba blushes at the words of Jacktar, but then turns serious as the settings mood allows. Tiba brings up a point about what the dead matron may have said before she died. Larmane would respond, "From my understanding, he came in alone and yesterday. That is when I met him. He seemed normal and friendly as always."
Assap watches the blaze beside his mistress, in a sitting position, waiting for her next command.

Mac returns warm welcomes and admits, his travels are his own. He hints at possible stories of his past coming out in the future. He does mention his devotion to Domi is without question. Brahmah and him have a long conversation over the matters of the present and the badge.

Brahmah ponders the wisdom of Domi, bringing into the Captains fold more people that are perhaps the enemy and in such unusual circumstances. He laments the loss of his badge and perhaps feels a bit ashamed at not having one to present to a brother in arms. Instead, he blames the evil that has turned the soil of this island.
After flexing his words at Jacktar and the wisdom of notifying the WLA. Jacktar with a courtly bow acknowledges the words, "I believe, between the two of you, I already have."
He introduces himself to Mac which appears obvious.
Heyoo gets to know Mac better.

Gecktar casts a Divination spell, with the question of "the location of the gnome that assaulted us, so we can find it back." His mind swirls at the question and he acquires a headache. After the spell is complete, he realizes, he can not receive specific information as he wished, but a divination spell can provide you with a useful piece of advice in reply to a question concerning a specific goal, event or activity that is to occur within one week.
Sorry bro asking for a location is none of those.
Afterward, he continues to heal those around him that have helped the others as he greets Mac and informs him, he will be busy while with them.
What Gecktar saw of the gnome, which was briefly in the arms of Zeoll was a middle aged, very confident bearded gnome, that had a very calm expression on his face, until Brahmah head butted him, blasting him good. Spellcraft DC 19 Highlight to display spoiler: {No Stoneskin spell on him.}

Theorex greets Mac also and informs him, he is with those of good character.

The scene continues to evolve as now the North end of the valley is ablaze. There is still room around them to exit the valley without being burned.

DM Buzz: Alright, I need some direction from you all right now. Where do you want to go? What are you going to do? How are you going to do it? Have a great weekend.

"No, we are definitely not resting here, so close to the site of the attack. The smoke chokes Goodbarrel. It stinks of death. And failure. Let us find a healthier place."

Winterglade insists on going at least an hour into the forest, until the battlesite has been left behind and the party has found a defendable camping place. While on the way he lets his tongue flap loose, though his mind is visibly on other things.

"Larmane mentioned a secret garden of his, but so far there seems to be no reason to go there."

"Yes, we have been all called by Brawler. Goodbarrel believes we are called by him every day, and many names, too, some unmentionable in polite company."

[Mac:] "For now I need to know the lay of the land."
"Dear hornhead, with the war going on and all that you might want to keep that bit of information to yourself while on this island. There are many centaurs here who could try to hang you as a spy."

[Brahmah:] "...anyway, can't remember what brought us here."
"Doctor Mauroth? Asking about? Finding his suppliers among pirates? Does that ring a bell?"

OOC : Tiba, are you really 56/71 hp. If still wounded Gecktar will cast one more cure for you. (heal 23 if necessary)

Gecktar agrees with Goodbarrel so that they need to take some distance with the place. Now they all need some rest to get back their powers.
Gecktar doesn't need to sleep much, so this night he will pray hours for the innocents that have been slaughtered today, asking his Patron God to welcome them, because all of them, with their little means, have fought the evil that lurks in town.
He will cry for all those still here that have lost their dearest love and asks Domi to hand them sufficient courage to endure the loss.

DM Buzz:I'm sorry Gilles, but I do not want to assume something, give you wrong information you didn't ask for, or guess at what the "it" was you spoke of. DM Buzz: In regard to the Divination, please look at the addition I put into your last post for Gecktar. I will reword what I feel the question is, according to our conversation, in order to impress upon you how I feel a "Divination" spell needs to be worded in the future.

"Oh great and powerful Domi, please shower upon me information on how we may best find the gnome that attacked us this evening?"
At this time, given the situation, a DC check needs to be met, for the circumstances. I rolled 21 for you (D20+ caster level), which means you have gathered no real information.
Spellcraft DC: 19 Highlight to display spoiler: {Nondetection is just one spell that would thwart this spells abilities.}
Now you know why I need specifics. Thank you.

Zeoll thanks Gecktar for the healing. He is content to travel a one hour distance from the smoke filled valley of sorrow. He looks forward to what he can discern from his dreams and uses his wilderness skills to find a suitable spot.

Brahmah too, thanks Gecktar for healing spells.

Winterglade shows appreciation at Gectar's grace also. He refuses to rest in the valley. He reminds the group of Larmane's secret garden and has a deep conversation with Mac and Brahmah on their journey to rest. With the assistance of magic, his rest is both swift and fulfilling.

Tiba, hangs back from the group a bit. Her spirit perhaps faltering due to the recent past. She has come close to death twice now, in a short period of time and may in fact need some nurturing or leadership to shake her out of her over excited senses.

Mac sounds surprised at the words of his new comrades and is glad for the much needed information. He offers to take first watch as the tired adventurers now need slumber badly.

Gecktar.after casting his Divination leaves the valley with the others. When it is time to rest, he weeps for the losses and prays that Domi is beside Gargul, when they begin their voyage to the next stage of their existence.

The group can tell, the guards are no longer near the entrance when they leave. The sounds of nature once again can be heard. The wild animals seem oblivious to your mood as you walk away from the setting that was once a beautiful spot.
With natures assistance, Zeoll can help the group find a wonderful cave near a deep ravine where now a shallow stream flows from. They set up camp and prepare to sleep.

Those that watch Zeoll as he dreams, can see him tossing and turning. His muscles twitching and low growls coming from his throat.
DM Buzz: Zeoll, keep in mind, when using the Seer abilities of Read Dreams, you need a full nights rest. That means going to bed immedietly after sun down and waking up near sunrise. I'm letting it slide this time, to keep the game flowing, but remember, when using this, you can not have a watch shift.

Zeoll onlyHighlight to display spoiler: {
You see yourself, a mighty stallion of your race. Muscles rippling underneath your shining, hairy body. The mighty Zeoll struts through a sylvan glade, your subconscious guiding you on the dream of your desire, to gain insight on your foe.

The glade closes into a small glen, nestled underneath large oak trees filled with mistle toe. The vibrant red berries contrast the many shades of green that cover the mystical surroundings. A large bed of rolling moss surrounds a deep pool of crystal clear water. Spaced around the pool, ten feet apart are three large golden amphoras, perhaps five feet tall, with a mouth at the top easily one foot in diameter. Beautiful blue-green flames roll upwards another three feet. They are supported by stands of three rose trees, each, The plants start to rise up from the soil, at first individually, until they entwine and grow into a round base to support the braziers.

Zeoll begins to play his drum, at first slowly, methodically, with a high degree of intention and concentration. You begin to relax, the flow of the frequencies created stimulates every cell in your body. The tempo increases as does your blood. Opening the eyes reveals small animals of various types, joining the melody. Crickets rub their legs together, a beaver slaps it's tail in the water, a majestic elk trumpets to your grand performance. Zeoll is fixated on his work, sweat now pouring off of him, making him appear even more silken and beautiful in his appearance. You close your eyes again, making love to the music being created, until, you lose track of time. Then, without warning, your drum is gone. The sounds of nature with them and the air turns, from what you can perceive, cooler. Opening your eyes finds you alone, once again.

From across the glen a mighty pack of Hell Hounds come running out and around the now rippling pool before you. You have no fear and the call of the wild fills you as you charge into the pack of infernal canines. Bare handed Zeoll claws and bites the enemy and they do so in return adding a nasty breath weapon to emphasize their prowess. One after another you destroy them. Many of their throats have you tasted, many fall beneath your mighty hooves. The swipes from your claws rip off faces and pull out eyes with every swipe. The battle rages, it seems to him, for days, until there is only one left and Zeolls' might is near exhausted. The canopy now appears to be growing larger, concealing the glen from the sky. The mistletoe berries now surround the mighty wemic. Zeoll sets his teeth for the final victory, the glory of battle pumping swiftly through his conflict hardened body. The calling of nature in it's rawest forms. When from between two trees a lovely half elven woman strolls gracefully toward you, her full figured hips sway back and forth seductively as her long silken black hair flows behind her like a dark river. Deep azure eyes fondle your brain, sending waves of emotion through your being. She points to the remaining hell hound and it collapses into a lump of sulphur, before it to fades away with the others.

From out of the woods come dozens of different humanoid and taur females, all frolic to serve the mighty conqueror of the glen. Some spread out rose petals, three inches deep in an area near the pool, while others support your badly wounded and limping body to the bed of petals, to nurture you. They begin to bath you and clean your bloody body, using the long hair each of them have. Their bodies rub against yours and you feel almost revitalized by the smell of the females that surround you, as it mingles with the sweet aroma of rose petals. Wine, mead and the sweetest ales are brought to you in golden amphoras and your thirst for the women, the drink and the atmosphere continues to grow. A week, month or year may have passed as you have been a sexual partner with all of the servants that seem to fall at your feet when you call upon them. Beautiful elves and orcs, goblins and gnomes, centaurs and minotaurs alike invoke the same passion within you and each encounter leaves you wanting more and more. Zeoll seems to feel satisfied, but never sated. Your sexual stamina an endless well. Your every desire easily and willingly fulfilled. You find yourself in a swirling vortex of wet and nude bodies and Zeoll pictures himself attempting to swim to the top of the ocean of his desires.
Always, standing on the outskirts of the scene, the beautiful half elf, with azure eyes, whose beauty surpasses all those you have tasted in this dream, her silent visage watching, as a mother would her adoring child, fulfilling his every wish, if he would but follow her where she leads him.

You awaken in whichever manner you feel Zeoll would, after having a dream of such magnitude. You may roll a religion check DC 25 for a definition of the subtleties of this dream. Please keep seperate what Cayzle knows and what Zeoll would not.

"My wanderings and such have brought me here from the Southern Continent, yes. Heranmar, Hook City, the Sargrass Plains, Ice Vein, islands... I had the pleasure of running with the Bloodpack for a time, and would like the chance to do so again, if the Gods are willing."

"But, the answer to your question is: No, I am not returning from the Southern Continent. Let me explain:

I am the third and last son of Antonio and Esperia. Antonio was the third and last son of Xerros and Clayrnys. Xerros was the only son of Morpheus and Aurora. Morpheus and Aurora with uncommon wanderlust left Islas Tauri (as they referred to it) in search of adventure and space. Over many years they travelled, had incredible adventures, and were eventually accepted by the people of Heranmar, where they settled down and established the family's smithing business. Xerros was born, and grew up hearing his parent's stories, and learning the family business. When he was ready to take over the running of the family business, Aurora told him he had one task to perform first. He had to make his way to Islas Tauri, and return with a bride. So Xerros returned to Heranmar with Clayrnys. In time they had three sons, who were told their parent's and grand-parents tales, and each in turn... I see that you see how this goes."

"I am the youngest of the third generation, and every Minotaur who traces their lineage to Morpheus and Aurora is male. Maybe it is chance, or perhaps something in the water in Heranmar. That all being said, that's not why I'm here - I have their wanderlust. And, of course, there is a chance that one of my older cousins is on his voyage as we speak."

Brahmah looks at Theorex, "Well, as Goodbarrel mentioned, Doctor Mauroth is out to exterminate what he calls abberations and abominations from the Wold and he's here in these isles. He thinks anything not human or of multiple races is disgusting and impure. We seek to meet him again in the end and finish him... I nearly did when we saw him the first time and regret his escape. His mercenary elf and bearhound assassins attempted to do us in in the forest on his island but instead looted us, punking us out and didn't bother killing us... their mistake." He adds the last two words with venom. "Anyway, our greatest foe is Vargus, a follower of the Diseased One and he has Minions of Marteaus, who are similar in number and skill to the Chosen and seek to undo our good deeds. The last time we met him, he barely escaped, his third escape if I remember rightly, but not without losing his gear to us this time. He was teleported away from us with what we assumed was a Contigency teleport (or similar) or a Bracelet of Friends.

We have worked closely with a ship captain call Lira and her ship, the Gossemer wing is fast and safe... and entirely crewed by females. A great ship for sure. We have handfuls of friends spead through the isles and we see them from time to time.

Our most important deed to this day, in my opinion, was rescuing the Unitaurs, the Children of Domi and hiding them in a secret place where they are safe. These children are the future of the Taur race.

I fear what might happen if Mauroth ever found out about THEM!"

Talking to the Chosen "I will have to word my next questions so as to not target specifically the persons as they can be protected by mundane spells."

"You life is clearly in the balance but our goal is noble and good. For now in the search of Mauroth, we've found the situation here at Fort Stag. And we agree that we should put a hand to this, before leaving for our track."

Gecktar now speaks to all Chosen "And what now... I've failed gaining informations about the gnome. But Zeoll's tongue could prove even more efficient in this if we get bak to Fort Stag. But if our ennemy has reported our presence along with Jacktar, we will not receive a welcome in town..."

Do I need to start emailing spoilers to people personally and avoid them on this site?

[OOC: Zeoll has no knowledge of Religion; he has Nature and History. But he also has Bardic Lore. So those three rolls: Nature - 20. History - 20. Bard Lore - 20.]

Zeoll wakes from his dream shaking. He is not a liontaur of deep emotions, and this dream has taken him by surprise. He walks over to the stream and washes his hands and face.

To any who ask, he volunteers this tale of his dream: I dreamed that I performed a great work of music ...

Sorry friends! I

"Mac, that was just a figure of speech!.. You really come from THAT far away?... Hook City? Bloodpack? What's that place like?"

"Theorex, as Captain Brahmah said we are in a middle of a kind of quest to settle an old score and remove a dangerous criminal from the isles. But our pursuit has been interrupted by this business at Fort Stag. This is a situation as new to us as it is to you and we don't have much more knowledge or ideas than you. We'll have to figure something out tomorrow."

As night passes Winterglade watches Zeoll tossing in his sleep from above his needlework as he puts in another 8 hours of work on his project.

Flat-top

Out of the bushes enters Flat-top. "Hey You Guys ! Are you deft?? I've been yelling for some one to get me out of that mudd."

Tuesday August 5th, 2008 8:39:43 PM

The group spends the night, in a small cave barely big enough for them all. The fresh water flowing from the earth, a fine and refreshing liquid coming from a tunnel that seems to lead somewhere to the South of where you all are right now, the tunnels size will not allow large creatures to explore further. Medium creatures will indeed be getting dirty, if they choose to explore. A simple knowledge nature check reveals, that in the monsoon season, this little stream can become a fast moving river.

The group speaks of many things. Where Mac came from. Why the Chosen came home in the first place. Why the Chosen choose to face dangers around every corner. It is apparent that all of those together in this small cave, are just small pieces to a very large jigsaw puzzle.

Zeoll wakes up in the morning and shares with the group what he feels they need to know. He ponders over his dream at breakfast and can only come to one conclusion, using his bardic lore. Zeoll only Highlight to display spoiler: {There is only one word that is needed to describe your dream. Caeroldra }

Mac(HP:101, AC:23)
Tuesday August 5th, 2008 8:57:02 PM

Looking to Brahmah after he finishes speaking about the unitaurs, he adds, "Sound like something to be kept closeheld. I shall not ask about them, but please let me know what I can do to help when the time comes."

"Hook City... I was only off ship for a few hours while they unloaded and loaded goods. I didn't take a good look at the bridge, but what I saw was pretty enough. The Plains are dangerous - potentially fatal - and that's before we start talking about the creatures that call it home."

Mac gives thought to describing some of the creatures, or how the ships weren't actually sailing on water. He keeps check in his mind of the promise not to speak of Rattledam. But that is all put aside when Flat-top returns.

"Mud?"

"Thank you for the information my friends. I sadly don't have much input into the situation besides going into town and talking to people to find out what is going on.

I sadly don't have any disguise spells or ability. i either create or fight to stop the spread of things that are bad.

Perchance we put up a reward for information of the likeness of the gnome saying that we owe him money or would like to talk with him ect..

What do you all think?"

"Could be a little too obvious, Theo. Besides, whom would we ask the informers to contact? If we described a way to reach us the first who would come would be Blackmane's thugs."

As the night passes the centaur works busily with his needle [advanced my crafting project by one day].

In the morning he chooses a new set of spells and departs on his usual run to refresh his powers [if you rested for 8 uninterrupted hours you should have healed 1hp times your character level. If you are still wounded let me know, I'll fix it].

"We should decide now what to do next. Gecktar, what was it that foiled your scrying attempt? Zeoll, did your dreams bring you any insight?..."

Glad to have had an uneventful evening for the rest of the night, She looks around in the morning air, rejuvinated. Calling Assap out of his dreams, she gives him her full attention, rubbing his ears, and feeding him his treat, some meat jerky, before sending him out to do his own hunting.

Looking about as he bounds out of sight into the underbrush, she considers her options. After a moment, she looks back at Bramah, as he rouses himself to wakefulness. "I'm going hunting, and to get a good idea of what's around. Who needs to come along with me?"

Zeoll (AC17, HP 50 of 50)
Wednesday August 6th, 2008 7:57:30 AM

[OOC: Sorry, everybody, for the truncated post yesterday. On vacation, hard pressed to fit it all in.]

Zeoll shakes himself out (literally -- he shakes his head like a wet dog trying to get dry) of the fugue into which he has fallen after the dream.

"My drream had thrree parrts," he says softly. "In the firrst parrt, I was in a naturral woodland, nearr a pond, surrrounded by oak and mistletoe. This seems to me to be the seeking parrt of my drream, looking to Motherr Wold forr help."

"I starrted playing, and soon I was perrforrming fantastic music, maybe the best I have accomplished. But the drream turned, and the music became more passionate. Then the music was overr in a flash."

"Afterr that, I fought hell hounds with my claws and hands, and I defeated almost all of them. I did not use my sworrd, spells, orr songs. The passions of battle inflamed me, and I was like a beserrkerr."

"Then a beautiful half-elf woman enterred the scene and destrroyed the last hell hound. She watched overr me as many beautiful females enterred the scene and tended my wounds. They did more than that, frankly, but modesty prrevents me frrom giving more details. I found myself unable to resist them."

You don't need a sense motive check to tell that Zeoll is embarrassed by this. The blush on his cheeks, and the twitch of his tail, does the job.

"But the half-elf woman was still watching. I got a feeling that I was being offerred something -- that she prromised my hearrt's desire, especially if my hearrt's desire was morre of that trreatment."

"It seems to me that it was a drream about orr sent frrom Caeroldra, god of lust and passion, a god of testing."

(Zeoll shares more details about his dream, except for the third part. Maybe others who listen could make Know Religion checks to discern more?)

Brahmah AC 25, Hps 117/117 (Heyoo AC 16, Hps 45/45) ALARM 10hrs
Wednesday August 6th, 2008 12:31:57 PM

Brahmah nods to Theorex. "If you are still with us when we return to the children, I'm sure it'll be our final mission as Chosen." This doesn't sound ominous, but almost like a long awaited retirement.

"I would come hunting with you Tiba, in fact I need the practice, but I just woke myself and its time for my watch. However, if you like, Heyoo can accompany you at a distance and return for me if there is trouble. Don't shoot him though, he won't be happy."

The minoTaur casts his Alarm spells to be audible to everyone (using his rod of lesser extend spell) at the opening of the cave at the beginning of the night and lets everyone know the password. (Password is Machesthai)

Gecktar AC22 HP 76/76  d20+8=26 ;

Gecktar welcome back Flat-Top "Hey <Flat-Top, where have you gone. Don't do that again ! You wasn't yelling enough ! Next time, just stay in touch of us. We were anxious about you."

"I now that the battle has been a mess but, please Flat-Top, don't stay away from us."

Preparing the beakfast with their rations, Gecktar listen religiously to the speech of Zeoll. Try to gather some information he searches in his memory for any clue that would give them an idea of how to handle the situation (Knowledge religion 26)

Mornings gone/DM Buzz  d20+11=16 ;
Wednesday August 6th, 2008 7:27:42 PM

Mac talks a bit of his homeland.

Theorex offers alternatives in finding information they may need.

Winterglade suggests some tactics at discovery may be to dangerous. He works on his project while others keep watch. With a new day brings new spells and he asks gecktar about what may have happened with his Divination.

Tiba wakes and with Assap goes hunting. Please remember to roll for things if you state your character is doing them

Zeoll awakens disturbed. He takes some time to refresh himself with the water from the earth and sits quietly for awhile before he can relate to the group what was in his dream. Embarrassment apparent.

Brahmah confirms Theorex, if still present, will perhaps see the children some day. He offers to go hunting with Tiba and casts an alarm on the the cave mouth.
Heyoo rolls around in the stream a little outside the cave and then rolls around in the dirt, to dry.

Gecktar welcomes back the flighty warrior Flat-top and admonishes him for not staying with the group, or yelling loud enough to know he needed help.
He listens closely to the incomplete tale that Zeoll weaves and with great wisdom, he attempts to translate, some of which may have been seen.
The oak trees are meant to be a strong defense that is at her disposal.
The mistletoe, although beautiful, is a parasite, therefore, corrupt her defenses may be.
The amphoras are her symbol.
The rolling moss means comfort on top of that which is hard and unyielding, the rock beneath.
The pool, just one part of the four elements that were present.
The roses are meant to be a metaphor on beauty that can cause pain and suffering.
She understands your first passion is likely music and thus, lured you into her offering.
The Hell Hounds may be a part of Zeoll's subconscious and she offers him the chance to allow her to help him defeat his enemies..
Not much more can be gathered from here, but there is something about the number three that is important, yet indiscernible.

In order for the group to all get a full nights rest, you must stay in the shade of the cave until around noon, if they have three four hours shifts.
Tibas' survival skill (rolled by DM) determines there is not much in the area for the entire group, but a rabbit and some wild carrots will be a nice addition to trail rations.
The group can decide, with the knowledge they have on what to do next.

Please post your new spells in your initial posts, so I know what you have today.

Also, please let me know what your watch order is please with Mac now included. Winterglade needs to keep in mind, he can't keep watch and work on skills both.
Jim George you have not responded to my email about Theorex and his specialty of Divination. Theorex has on his sheet, he gave up Necromancy, but you have to give up two, not just one school. Please decide on another one and update your sheet, or drop the specialization with surgery. If this is not done by the next battle, I will roll randomly to see which school you loose. Please don't let it come to that.

OOC: how do I roll for hunting??

DM Buzz: That would be a survival check.

Ooc: Oh mighty DM perchance you are right. But in the players hand book on page 57 on the bottom under school specialization, further under divination I quote Unlike the other specialists, a diviner must give up only one other school.. It further talks about it on that page. If there is a Wold ruling on this please let me know.

I thought I had emailed you back that I gave up Necromancy. Sorry for the confusion.

Winterglade
Thursday August 7th, 2008 6:17:38 AM

[Current spells available for Winterglade are listed at the end of my character sheet.]

"Omens, signs, but unfortunately nothing substantial to go on. Winterglade is at a loss on what to do next. We know about the garden of Larmane and we are probably standing on its doorstep. The dream of Zeoll started with druidic symbols - oak and mistletoe. Maybe going there could put us on the right path."

"Other than that there isn't much else we can do but to move closer to Fort Stag and start discrete observations hoping to find something we can go on before we are found ourselves."

The centaur looks around at the rest of the Chosen and waits for their contribution.

[We have a weekend and should probably decide what we are going to next before Monday. Does anobody see any obvious leads I might be missing?]

[I'll check my books regarding specialized diviners tomorrow and post what I found on Saturday.]

"Thank you, good frriend, forr yourr help!" says the liontaur. Then Zeoll tells Gecktar in a whisper all about the last part of his dream.

Zeoll takes no watches now that he spends his nights reading dreams.

Gathering up the rabbits, surrounding the patch of wild carrots, done with, Assap follows her faithfully. They both practice their awareness skills, trying to find anything out of the oridnary on their way back to the cave. Of course, in the most obscure route possible, so as to throw off anyone tracking them...
