On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Friday April 24th, 2009 2:45:38 PM
You all wake up fresh. Surprisingly, you ALL sleep well. Spells can be prepared. It is 7 bells, the local tower just chimed. You may decide to go to pick up last minute gear.
(OOC: More this weekend. And if all goes well, there will be a surprise in store :))
Ruby d20+2=14 ; Saturday April 25th, 2009 2:08:34 AM
With a smile on her face she returns the goodnight to Thar as he passes by her. For the briefest of moments she feels her heart flutter, though she does not know why. Shaking it off she figures she might have eaten something that disagreed with her or maybe it was just what they were going to do tomorrow.
Up bright and early the next morning, she was more than satisfied with her nights sleep. It had been free of nightmares for once and also been uninterrupted, though filled with dreams that she could not quite catch when morning came. Flustrated at this she pours herself into her morning exercises with a vengeance, her bare feet making little to no sound even upon the wood floor.
Finally, she is downstairs, dressed in much the same style of clothes that she wore the day before. There was the same occassional glint of mithril from under the shirt she wore. Not strapped to her waist but carried in her left hand is the belt that holds both her rapier and dagger. She greets the others in the same cheerful way that she has for the past couple of days, though for some reason she finds herself blushing when greeting Thar.
This leaves her flustered and though she does eat some breakfast, she does a lot of picking at her food as well. Trying not to make it obvious that she is watching the room and the others, though secretly she is stealing glances at Thar. She silently admonishes herself for not staying focused upon the task at hand and finally pushes away from the table to find a quiet spot to think.
[bluff 14 to hide her interest and embarrassment over Thar]
Edmund Saturday April 25th, 2009 10:19:16 AM
Edmund spends most of the morning stuffing pastries and tea into his face. He also takes some time to do some studying and to ensure he is prepared for the day's events.
Now that it has come down to it, he does not seem at all keen to leave, and does his best to delay and procrastinate at every opportunity.
"Why don't we wait until tomorrow?" he asks. "Weather should be much better tomorrow!"
On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Saturday April 25th, 2009 1:06:12 PM
Please let me know what your final prep are.
Edmund Saturday April 25th, 2009 3:27:28 PM
OOC: Edmund's prep is to study his spells for the day and to put on his usual kit of equipment as included on his character sheet.
Is there something else I should be doing? Or some other sort of information needed? SPD is above, but I can repost it if you like.
Wynum Saturday April 25th, 2009 7:16:34 PM
Coming down to the breakfast and seeing Julian and Ed eating, Wynum stops and thinks for a moment. He opens his mouth then stops and turns to Arm down the corridor.
"Going to town, fetching some more rations for the trip. You elves eat quite a bunch."
Julian (Small size) ...updating CS... Saturday April 25th, 2009 10:11:47 PM
"Good idea," mumbles Julian through his food. "Porridge is always good for long trips, and dried beef, or goat is a favourite. Dried mutton is okay so long as we've got time to make a gravy, and I know many will make fun of me for this but I really like dried mutton cooked with stewed apples and a thin red wine gravy. Dried food is good travelling food, so long as you're out of doors. I wouldn't want to be in a closed space with a human eating dried apricots, if you know what I mean. "Oh, and before you head off, maybe some more wine and ale for the trip." The halfling then resumes eating, sharing the cooked meats with his badgers and dog from his fork.
On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Sunday April 26th, 2009 6:07:32 PM
There's a knock on the door. (No, seriously.)
Arm Monday April 27th, 2009 5:58:08 AM
Arm awakens the next morning, yet he still does not feel refreshed as he should. Greeting the others at the table, he makes various artistic arrangements with his food on the plate until he hears the knock at the door. Sighing, he gets up and motions to the rest to stand ready. Once near the door, he calls out, "Who is it that calls upon us at such an early hour?".
On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Monday April 27th, 2009 1:28:14 PM
"We are from Wil Kommen's company. We have an attache for your journey toward Tumblevoid. Her name is Revi. She...erm, is a ah.... not sure. But she's easy on the eyes by all accounts." Says a gruff husky sounding man. "By the looks of it, Wil is expecting hostile negotiations."
"Wil also asked us to come and ask if you would like a couple porters to assist. We know the situation and would like to help find Ben Venu too." Says a younger, more eager voice
(Welcome Jim Chalder folks!!!!)
Revi Monday April 27th, 2009 1:50:04 PM
There was an almost inaudible, "What?" Then followed by a more stern repeat of the same question, "What?! Easy on the eyes? Did you just say that? Look at me when I talk to you." There was a pause and then, "Say it again, to my face, tell me I'm easy on the eyes, I dare you."
Shadow [AC 24/19 HP 47/47] Monday April 27th, 2009 2:35:16 PM
Shadow wakes up and makes sure everything is in order (and the traps are reset for their absence). He does not hear the knock so is somewhat surprised when he sees people at the door talking.
Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps d20+19=32 ; d20+19=23 ; Monday April 27th, 2009 3:18:23 PM
After wishing Ruby goodnight, Thar finds himself in a great mood. He reflects on this uncharacteristic feeling, and discovers that his encounters with the lovely Ruby and his good moods seem to occur together. He's not sure what that means, since this hasn't happened to him before. Part of him wants to remind him that he's been known as a stoic and pragmatic person, but somehow his heart keeps telling him something different... He silently drifts off to reverie, thinking of a fellow ranger with coppery red hair...
In the morning, he says his usual prayers, but adds one for wisdom and guidance on the events of last night. He refreshes his spells, checks his armor and weapons, and finds that all is ready. He then walks down to breakfast and (Spot = 23) notices that someone is sending him subtle glances and he returns them with a smile. After finishing his meal, he goes outside, grabs a few miscellaneous flowers, puts them together in a makeshift bouquet and leaves them outside Ruby's door. He considers leaving a note, but decides not to, for this is all new to him and he has no idea what to say.
He hears the door knock and when he goes downstairs, he hears the voice of a newcomer and it sounds like they may have someone joining them on their journey. He chuckles as he hears Revi and the man's interesting conversation. He walks over politely and says, "Hello, I'm Thar ail Baerer, our resident cleric and one of our rangers. It is nice to meet you and I for one welcome all the help we can get." He does, however, watch closely to ensure that tey seem genuine and aren't another set of dopplegangers like before... (Spot = 32)
He is a young elf with well-used elven chainmail and a pair of twin short swords, both of which also are well used but well maintained. He wears a wooden cross on his "outdoorsy" clothing.
Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps Monday April 27th, 2009 3:20:38 PM
OOC = Welcome aboard Jim and it's great to have you hear with us!!!)
Revi Monday April 27th, 2009 3:25:10 PM ooc: Glad to be here! :)
BTW, no one has opened the door yet, lol
"What? Cat got yer tongue? Yeah, I thought so mister." Though no one except those outside could see it, Revi adopted her trademark snear at the man who had called her 'easy on the eyes.' Then the pounding came, loud and rattling the door, as Revi slammed her metal gauntleted hand against the door and called out, "Are ya going to open the door? I can barely hear ya through it."
Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps Monday April 27th, 2009 5:32:07 PM
(Addendum to my post based upon Jim's keen observation...)
... As Thar hears the voices, he turns towards his companions and notifies them that he's going to open the door and to be aware. He does just that and sees the two people standing there. After asking them their business (and assuming they repeat it), he says, "Hello, I'm....
Edmund Monday April 27th, 2009 5:36:26 PM
Edmund comes barreling down the stairs at the sounds of loud pounding.
"Who is smashing up our door!?" he exclaims furiously. "Is it the shape-shifting dopple-gang again? Open the door, I'll give them a welcome they won't soon forget!"
Once Edmund realises that it is the welcome brigade from Wil Kommen & co., he stomps over to the door and throws it open.
"What's all the meaning of this?" he asks those outside, his arms folded across his chest. "Smashing up my door? Disturbing the peace? Causing a ruckus? Upsetting my digestion? Annoying the cat? See here, stop all that at once. If you're here to help, come in, be quiet, and have some tea."
Edmund glances over to Julian, "You didn't drink all the tea, did you?"
Edmund Monday April 27th, 2009 5:37:26 PM
((Looks like Thar and I had the same idea at the same time. Edmund will therefore run up just as Thar opens the door, and will interrupt Thar's courtesy with the speech above.))
Revi Monday April 27th, 2009 6:40:08 PM
Revi did not like being yelled at, even less than being called "easy on the eyes," but being offered tea was an affront she could not stand. "Tea? Tea?!" She could feel the Red Blindness coming on, but just as soon as it arose, did it go away. "Ah, whatever, here." Revi thrust a sealed letter of introduction from Wil Kommen & Co into Edmund's chest and let it go, not caring whether he took hold of it or let it fall to the floor. Shouldering her way past the man she looked for a seat, "It's too damn early in the morning to start killing people. Coffee, black, if you have it."
Before taking her seat at an empty table, she unshouldered the large greatsword strapped to her back. With a sound thud and a sudden chill in the air, the greatsword laid across the table, it's frosty metal mass dwarfing the table it laid upon. With a quick whistle and a, "Come Arashi," a handsome black wolf, wearing a masterfully crafted set of studded leather armor, loped in and sat at Revi's left side. "Good boy," Revi said, her face softening as she scratched the wolf under his chin. "Water for my wolf, if you have it. Thank you."
Ruby Monday April 27th, 2009 9:13:38 PM
Ruby found herself back in her room, which was not a bad idea since she needed to get her pack. As she opened the door to exit she found the flowers upon the floor at her door. Smiling she picked them up and brought them to her nose to smell.
Blushing slightly as she came down the stairs, still carrying the flowers in her left hand...her pack in the right. Clearing her throat as she hears the ruckus, she tries to keep the blush from coming back after having taken a couple of settling breathes before coming down. "Anyone got a vase or something nice to put flowers in?" Her voice was slightly higher but she did her best to keep it under control.
She had an idea that the flowers might have come from Thar and she was not sure why...but it warmed her heart. To make matters worse, with Kristen transfered she could not even ask anyone about what she was feeling. With her Madre and Nonna murdered, the rest of her family driven into exile and being hunted...she had never had the time to explore anything else. Survival had been her main goal in life...could she be coming down with something...or was this amore.
Revi Monday April 27th, 2009 9:59:37 PM
Upon seeing Ruby and the flowers in her hand, Revi sneered and inwardly thought, Great, a girly girl."So when are we leaving? The sooner I payoff my debt, the better."
Edmund Monday April 27th, 2009 11:22:54 PM
Edmund fumbles for the letter as Revi shoulders past. He looks to the others with eyes wide.
"This is... this is... it is an unmitigated affront! Unheard of! I mean, really! I say!"
After this cogent display of reasoning, Edmund opens the letter, muttering under his breath all the while.
"Cough-y? What the devil? Barging in! Stomping about! Pounding on things! Well, I never!"
Suddenly, something Revi said earlier makes a connexion in Edmund's mind and he glances up in alarm.
"Wolf!? What wolf!?"
His eyes quickly snapping over to Revi, and her wolf, Edmund's eyes widen, and his mouth opens and closes several times. During this interesting procedure, his face becomes very red indeed.
"I say!" he finally declaims breathlessly. "This is really the frozen limit! What does that silly merchant mean, sending his odious emissaries here to knock down our doors and fill up our headquarters with wolf droppings!?"
"Water for your wolf?" Edmund gaggles at her in disbelief. "Explain yourself at once!"
Revi Tuesday April 28th, 2009 12:29:53 AM
Revi smiles at the flustered Edmund, and says gleefully, "It's all there in the letter, cantcha read?" She turns her head back to her wolf and says, "Odious, hah! Guess he doesn't like the way we smell." Revi gives a quick sniff of her pits and reels back a little, "Peeyew, I guess I do stink. Ah well, nothing to be done about it." looking at Edmund and smiling again, "Look handsome, Ol' what's his face says I owe him a debt, and I guess he's right. He thought you might need some help, some of the old ultraviolence, if'n you know what I mean."
Arm Tuesday April 28th, 2009 6:03:13 AM
Raising an already arched eyebrow, almost to the point of it leaving his head altogether, Arm for once is speechless by the reparte between the newcomer and Ed. Smiling inwardly, he thinks that this may be a good thing..he'll finally get some help in his 'anti-Ed' campaign.
IF there is a lull in the conversation, the thin but handsome bard profers a bow to Revi and introduces himself, "Greetings, young miss. My name is Armathen Ebano, but most people call me Arm. It is a distinct pleasure to make your acquaintance, and we welcome your help in this matter.".
To the other person at the door, he thanks him and tips him a gold piece for his efforts, inquiring as to where they can meet up with the porters.
OOC: Welcome, Jim...hope you enjoy your stay with us! :)
Shadow [AC 24/19 HP 47/47] d20+24=39 ; Tuesday April 28th, 2009 9:38:55 AM
When the woman storms in and starts making demands Shadow merges with the shadows as he observes what transpires next. 'What a way to make people feel comfortable about you.' Shadow thinks as he continues to watch the goings on. He is a little startled as she calls for her companion and a fairly wild wolf enters in and seems to obey her. He still is not sure of what is going on here.

Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps Tuesday April 28th, 2009 9:52:27 AM
Seeing the wolf, Thar smiles broadly and reaching into his pack, he takes out some jerky. He looks at Revi and asks if he can give the wolf this treat and rub it's neck and shoulders. He has a true love for creatures of nature, especially those of the canine variety.
He shakes his head at Ed's comments to the visitor and says, "Ed, calm down my friend. You know, wolves can make wonderful companions and we should be honored to have one among us. Have you already forgotten our history with previous companions and their faithful friends? Furthermore, is that how we treat guests at our manor? Come now my friend, you know how to be diplomatic and remember that you're our spokesperson to newcomers."
As all this is going on, he sees Ruby come down with the flowers and nods at her. He smiles awkwardly, not knowing really how humans court each other. After all, elves have a specific way, but with humans, who knows...
When he has a chance, he'll say to her shyly, "Um... good morning.... how was your night? Um.... you look ... um... lovely... this morning..." He tries his best to hide his nervousness, but its obvious he's failing...
Wynum Tuesday April 28th, 2009 10:42:48 AM
Many good things seem to await the centaur as he comes deftly down the stairs (practice, practice...).
"Ah! Gilded tubelus! My favorite!" he explains, glaring at the flowers bouquet, then adressing Ruby: "Will you eat all of them? Can I get some?"
Seeing newcomers he greets them both, the human and the wolf.
(Just curious: is Revi wearing a half-plate for her belly button to show?)
Revi Tuesday April 28th, 2009 12:33:39 PM
Revi nods to Thar's request to give Arashi some jerky, she was sure the wolf would enjoy the treat, "Just the jerky, Arashi, not his fingers." then noticed the awkward exchange between him and the flower girl and gave a little chuckle. Upon Arm's introduction, Revi quickly sized up the man and replied, without getting up, "Nice to meet you too Ebby," then quickly glances between Arm and Edmund, "Hmm, I can't decide which of you is more handsome. Edmund there sure is cute, all red and flustered up like a rose, eh Edmund?" Revi couldn't help but laugh inwardly, then as quickly, chided herself. No use in pissing off the people she was sent to help, but damn it was fun. Rising up to stretch, Revi lightly punches Arm in the shoulder and says," I dunno, I'm thinking Edmunds got ya beat." ooc: it's like a reverse half-plate, covers everything but the torso :) I bought it that way to match the pic, which I always try to replicate in character sheet form.
On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Tuesday April 28th, 2009 1:56:06 PM
The two men Revi arrived with stand comically at the door staring in and watching the introductions unfold: one red headed ponchy man, in his mid-forties and another red-head in his twenties. Arm gives the ponchy man a gold and inquires as to where to meet the porters. "If'n your pardon sir, but we ARE the porters." The youger man can't take his eyes off the Revi's rear end. The older fellow notices and slaps the kid in the back of the head to wake him up.
"Can we come in?" Ask the more polite porters. Outside, you can see a covered wagon with Wil's company logo on the canvas. "Wil recommends we leave as soon as we arrive. Make use of the daylight and such." Says the younger man.
The wolf takes the treat and encircles Thar's feet, and flops down on floor, pinning Thar's feet.
Does anyone read Revi's letter?
Edmund Tuesday April 28th, 2009 3:01:51 PM
The half-elf's mouth hangs agape as he watches the boisterous woman carry on as if the Mithril Manor were a barracks. His mind turns over as he tries to come up with some sort of cutting, incendiary comment able to reduce her to subservient obedience. Unfortunately, nothing seems to come to mind.
The woman's incessant commentary isn't helping matters--when she interrupts the wizard's thinking, Edmund shuts his mouth like a trap with an audible *click!*. His face reddens still further and he glances down to read the letter with pursed lips and burning ears.
Ruby Tuesday April 28th, 2009 11:28:58 PM
Glancing to the newcomer she is soon forgetting the flowers that she is holding, her eyes narrowing as she records each detail in turn. Glancing to the wolf that just padded in she glances back to the woman and a slight growl starts in her throat. A slight whistle brings a small owl to perch on her shoulder and she scratches its head with some concern. "I do hope that you friend will play nice with mine." Shaking her head she catches the motions of Thar and turns her head slightly.
Glancing down to the flowers she cannot help but smile and then nods her head. "I had a good nights sleep...though you must have missed me at the breakfast table this morning." She suddenly remembers that she was staring this morning at him and blushes slightly. Luckily, Wynum is there to change her direction of thought.
Pulling the flowers further away from him she frowns. "They were a gift and you may certainly not eat them." For some reason her temper has flared, most likely due to the thought behind the flowers and the red hair. "Would you be so kind as to allow me to pretend you are a splendid horse to ride around?" Though she feels bad as soon as the words leave her mouth she does not take them back and the glare stays.
Her face softens though as she glances to Thar and mouths a thank you to him. She thens makes to go and get something to put the flowers in. Her thoughts for a little while will be to get them into her room and safe from those looking to eat them. Though she will take the time to use a spare piece of parchment to press one and leave it inside her writing journal that is inside her pack.
Julian (Small size) ...updating CS... Tuesday April 28th, 2009 11:36:52 PM
Julian remains in the kitchen eating. He would get up to see who has arrived, but it sounds to be well in hand. The halfling chuckles at his own joke, and continues with his cutlets. Gnawing on the bone he does rise to remake some coffee, for the 'guests'. He drags a chair noisily to the bench in order to reach the 'darn humans and there whole we-rule-everything-attitude.'
With the coffee on to boil Julian wanders over to see into the foyer. "Wow, nice greatsword. Well crafted, good balance on it I'd bet. Axe too, nice... " he comments to himself. "I'm Julian. Hi. So, is that another four for breakfast? Wait, three, I mean. Yeah, you hungry?" "This bloke," pointing at the mage with the letter, "will settle down a bit in a minute or two. He needs some tea and biscuits and all that..." The halfling clanks about in his own black breastplate with his badgers at his heel. He holds a picked-clean bone in one hand, and mug in the other.
Revi Tuesday April 28th, 2009 11:55:36 PM "Oh , I'm sure they'll get along famously," Revi says in response to Ruby's concern, noting the flower girl never did give her name. When the halfling walked in Revi gave a broad grin, "Nice to meet you Jules, and yes, famished. Thanks kid." Revi looked about and offhandedly said, "Well I guess we're breaking fast first, then traveling to gods know where, right?" Then she sat back down, leaned back and awaited her morning meal.
Arm Wednesday April 29th, 2009 6:01:51 AM
Arm laughs aloud at Revi's remark, the half-elf side of him reddening as the tips of his ears turn beet red. He DOES manage a reply to her, though, "You're welcome to him, my dear...we shall see how long it is before he annoys you enough for you to use that formidable weapon of yours on him. I for one would like to be present when that happens.".
He tosses another gold to the other porter in apology and allows them inside, saying that they will be ready to depart as soon as the rest are through eating.
Shadow [AC 24/19 HP 47/47] Wednesday April 29th, 2009 9:21:26 AM
Shadow moves from the shadows and will move to introduce himself to the newcomers, "I am called Shadow. We should follow Wil's suggestions and hurry up with preparations and breakfast." Shadow will head upstairs and get all of his gear on and packed.
Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps Wednesday April 29th, 2009 12:06:45 PM
Thar smiles at Ruby's friendly and affirmative response, and then sighs as he realizes he must return to the matter at hand. When this matter of the locket and missing caravan is settled, there will be more time to explore these new feelings. For now, however, there seems to be some people in trouble and evil that must be destroyed.
He also takes the letter from Ravi and opens it, reading it out loud for the rest of the party. (I didn't see anyone else do it, but if so, ignore that I did)
He nods at the suggestions that they depart soon, and he comments, "I'm ready whenever every else is" To Ravi, he asks, "Where would do you like to travel in a caravan? Typically, one of the stealthy types among us (me, Shadow, Ruby) takes point or a flanking position. Others take up their associated positions. " He adds in a friendly manner, trying to make up from some of Ed's opening comments, "You seem to be quite the warrior and I must say I'm impressed by your weapon. I look forward to see it active in battle."
Revi Wednesday April 29th, 2009 12:15:31 PM
Revi smiled at the praise of her weapon and said, "Any where is fine Ebby, but I'm fast on my feet so if you put me in the middle I can reach either end of the caravan quick." The girl born of the wilds would have to remember the one called "Shadow", he was a sneaky one and she never met a rogue that at one time or another, didn't backstab someone in the group."Come here Arashi, Thar doesn't want to be kept held in one spot all day, I'm sure he would rather be somewhere else." With that said, Revi gave the man a wink and broad smile.
Wynum Wednesday April 29th, 2009 2:18:56 PM
Wynum obviously has a hard time sorting out the discussions going on, even Ruby's query.
"Well, splendid, yes, thank you, you... wait a minute! Did..."
But his sentence and temper is cut short by the ongoing confusion, Edmund's changing color and people going in.
"What? Leaving now? Yes, but the food! We need more food! And wood.... Hey watch where you put that you!" as he almost steps on the wolf's tail.
Backstepping, he carefuly goes up again and sets his mind to gather the whole of his gear.
Ruby Wednesday April 29th, 2009 8:57:49 PM
Being gone long enough to make her own preperations she comes back and finally remembers that she has a couple more things to do. Making her way to the new person she holds out her gauntleted hand. "The name is Ruby by the way." She had been absent for the last bits of talk and had no idea of her position with the caravan, though she could very easily guess.
Taking a biscuit from the plate on the table she takes a bite and then nods her head. "I can travel on either side of the caravan or out front if you would prefer." She pulls a strip of meat from a pouch and lays it upon her shoulder by the owl that steps on it and starts tearing into it with zeal. Bits of blood stain her overshirt and run down the front a little ways, most likely down the back as well.
Revi Wednesday April 29th, 2009 10:47:37 PM
Revi turned to see the flower girl extend her hand in greeting; gravy dripped down Revi's chin from the corners of her mouth--which was quite full of biscuits, sausage and way too much gravy. A muffled"Hi," was all she could muster without losing the contents of her famished desires.
Her spiked gauntlets lay on the table, over her greatsword, but on her hands she still wore a pair of ornately tooled, skin-tight, black gloves. The thought of wiping the gravy with her hands and then shaking Ruby's hand did cross her mind, but Revi thought she might burst out crying, being a girly girl and all. Not wanting to be rude, Revi took her hand, gave a single shake and squeezed to the point of being uncomfortable, but only painful enough to let Ruby know Revi was the baddest bitch in the room."Revi, nice to meet you."
The warrior maiden turned back to her breakfast, which was half gone, took a biscuit to wipe away and eat the gravy on her chin, then put the plate on the floor for her wolf, Arashi, to finish off the rest."Ah, that was good! Jules, thank you!" Revi then proceeded to scratch herself in various places, belch numerous times and chuckle to herself over her gastro-musical performance.
Arm Thursday April 30th, 2009 6:03:04 AM
Arm waits by the door, marvelling at their visitor...how she can be so alluring and so....strugging for the word...unpolished amazes him. She does seem to be able to hold her own, and that is definitely something that they'll need in battle.
Wynum Thursday April 30th, 2009 11:24:12 AM
Suddenly barging down the stairs once again, Wynum storms the dining room, moving laterally with flabergasting agility, allthewhile pointing his strung bow at various points in the room.
"Where is it? Where? Position? The monster?"
As he gets an update on Revi's latest display of etiquette and Throat Music performance, he calms down.
"Ah... errr. I see. Errrr, this bow is, ah, operational. Arrows, too. Ready when you are."
Pretending to check the bow's tension he wanders away, nervously wagging his tail in embarassment.
(OOC: The fact that the party's "girly girl" is Str 14 quite bolsters my confidence in this adventure's outcome)
On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Thursday April 30th, 2009 12:53:44 PM
OOC: Sorry for the no post yesterday, I was up 30 hours and crashed after getting off work.
DM POST
The party readies for the trip. Eating is done. Packing is done. Musical performances put on hold.
The letter reads, simply;
Revi is knowledgable of the local terrain, friendly and loyal when the need arises. She is need of companionship and owes me a favor. Wil
PS: The wolf is a glutton.
Yes, the letter reads as some sort of 'adopt this pet ad'. Could Wil have intended it? She DOES almost seems like a hyperactive puppy.
The porters load your gear as needed and prep the wagon for the trip. You have learned their names by now, Bart and Bart, father and son.
Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps Thursday April 30th, 2009 1:47:49 PM
As he reads the letter, Thar nods in agreement that Revi would be a fine addition to their party. He chuckles when he reads that the wolf's appetite is stupendous, and chuckles some more while he watches Revi's distinctly non-standard manners during the meal. Finally, he asks, "Your references are excellent Revi and I for one am glad you're here. You've met everyone and are there any questions we can answer before we leave?"
Once the gear is packed and wagon train is ready, he moves out to the front and looking at Shadow, asks, "Right or left point?" He'll take his usual ~ 50' lead in front of the party, walking to the side of the path looking for any dangers or issues that may present themselves.
Shadow [AC 24/19 HP 47/47] Thursday April 30th, 2009 2:15:49 PM
Shadow nods at Thar and says, "I will take left if you take right, and lets get this group going before Ed and the girl get into it again." With that he will take off with Thar and check only once to see that the group gets moving.
Edmund Thursday April 30th, 2009 3:26:43 PM
Edmund lets Thar keep the letter, and rolls his eyes at the latest crass display from their new addition.
"Yes. Let's go find some horrible monsters which will doubtless tear us limb from limb. This trip can only get better," he grumbles irritably.
The mage checks his scroll case and his haversack, and also gives a thought as to his dagger and crossbow, despite the reality that they will almost certainly get no use. Still, it never hurts to check, and Edmund is rather particular about everything being 'just so' before they set out.
"Who has packed the tea? Am I supposed to have it? Julian, do you have it? Someone has it. We have a kettle, right? Do you have that too, Julian? Who has it?"
After several minutes of questioning in this vein--as Edmund goes over everything from Tea Kettles to Tinderboxes--the party is finally ready to get started, at least according to Edmund.
"Don't forget to lock the doors and set the usual wards in place, though to be sure there's nothing inside worth stealing anyway. I've got all of my stuff, and Julian has the tea. There is the bathtub, though... oh! Make sure the doors are well-locked! Who has the keys? Do I have them? I think I packed them. Did someone else get them?"
After more of this, Edmund finally setps out and prepares to go. Glancing up at the sky, the well-dressed and typically spotless wizard moans a bit more. "I bet it will rain every single day. And these are my second-best travelling clothes, too! And there will be mud, and sewers to climb through, and monsters made from gloop again. Dreadful, really. Why don't I stay behind and keep an eye on things whilst you're away?"
Confronted by the reality of the trip ahead of them, Edmund resolves to go on against the odds. "Nothing for it, then, I suppose," he sighs. "Off we go, into mud and monsters--and no baths to speak of!"
Revi Thursday April 30th, 2009 4:16:28 PM
Responding to Thar's question before leaving,"Who's the cleric in the group, Thar? Ya know, the one I'll be kissing to thank for saving my butt, or the one who'll receive a spiked gauntlet in the arse for almost letting me die?"
Gathering her equipment and strapping the chilly greatsword on her back, Revi clucked her tongue to call Arashi and the pair walked outside and assumed a guard position to the right of the wagon, in the middle of the group.
Upon hearing Edmunds belaboured rants about baths, she blurts out,"I haven't had need of a bath in months! Helps me become attuned to the wild, ya know." Revi smiled, knowing that whatever she may say, it would annoy the irrisible man.
Julian (Small size) ...updating CS... Thursday April 30th, 2009 8:11:25 PM
"It's okay Eddy. If we lose the keys we can bash the door in. "Ha! Gotcha, just kidding - Shadow will get us in..."
"Revi, you don't have to worry about who's the Cleric, we look after each other. Still, it doesn't hurt to have a Potion of Healing on a leather thong around your neck like I do now. "I look forward to fighting with but - here's a rub that's taken me a lot of getting used to - these guys like to talk, even to the enemy. They talk almost as much as Kendry used to, but that was years agon back in the Crescent Valley. "I now use a Merciful Falchion to KO them rather than RIP them. Not all the time, but to those who know more than they're letting on. I need the weapon to make the distinction, 'cos in battle all I see is red. "So, given the chance, I will charge in with my lance to skewer them in one go."
Julian makes ready, and finds an extra bag for tea and a kettle, and for water bowls for dogs and badgers and wolves and owls (OOC did I miss anyone?). He clambers to the top of the wagon in his breastplate, and lays out a travelling blanket. On half of this he places a thunderstone, a tanglefoot bag, a wand and his arrows. He folds it over to cover and protect these, and sits with his longbow and two different arrows in hand. His badgers sit behind him with his pack and sword, and Sallie the dog tries to find her way onto the wagon next to the driver.
Ruby Thursday April 30th, 2009 9:08:38 PM
Ruby accepts the punishing grasp with no complaint and just smiles. She does not really care who this woman thinks she is. She leans in closer and lowers her voice. "Be careful who you push...you do want people to watch your back." Moving away she gathers up her pack and stands near the door waiting for the others.
She did not intimidate easily and to be honest she did not care if this woman wanted to be the "alpha". Once they are ready to leave she slips off to the side of the caravan and will take up a positon to the right as Thar slips into the front.
Revi Thursday April 30th, 2009 11:25:34 PM "Ruby, I've got eyes in the back of my head, dear."
Arm Friday May 1st, 2009 6:01:57 AM
Snapping his fingers, Arm hurries upstairs and retrieves his rod of wonder. Securing it on his belt, he hurries back downstairs. He laughs aloud at Revi's comment about baths and slaps her soundly on the back, "Well said, my dear!". He continues to laugh as he thinks of how much this woman will get on Ed's nerves. Falling in behind Shadow on the left, he sets off with the rest.
Shadow [AC 24/19 HP 47/47] Friday May 1st, 2009 9:19:11 AM
As the group takes it's collective time getting ready, Shadow rolls his eyes. As they banter back and forth Shadow is reminded of just how close he has come to his comrades. Once the group is ready Shadow will take off again and keep a steady eye out, even as they traverse the city.

On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Friday May 1st, 2009 1:34:17 PM
The Mithril Order has been making very good time--between the decent road conditions, the seasonable weather and the varied scenery of both the Overdale and the Groves, the trip to Tumblevoid has been almost boring.
(OOC: Arm, I need your email address. It is important to your characters well being. :))
Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps Friday May 1st, 2009 2:15:25 PM
Thar continues leading forward, watching his side of the trail. He frequently checks in with Shadow, making sure that they're leaving nothing to chance. Because things are so quiet, his mind drifts to Ruby and her smile... he has to smack himself occasionally, remembering that his job is to scout, not daydream. There's time for that later, and others are depending on him to locate any threats before they can strike.
Revi Friday May 1st, 2009 5:48:47 PM
Revi whistles as she walks, seeming not to have a care in the world (perhaps this is why her Spot skill is so poor). At times she even forgets why she's on the job, remembering something about protection, something or other. At other times when she comes upon a stick, she throws it out for Arashi to fetch, but the black wolf just looks at her as if she's crazy, That's not food, I can't eat a stick.

Edmund Friday May 1st, 2009 9:19:21 PM
Edmund continues to muddle along and, despite his endless, dire predictions of doom, actually seems to be enjoying himself. Indeed, it may well be the case that the only time Edmund is really happy is when he is drinking tea in a bath, or complaining about the inability to do so.
"I can't think why it hasn't begun raining yet," he says, for what must be the sixth or seventh time. "Any moment now, just you wait, and we'll be wishing we had brought oilskins--or better yet, never set out at all. And then the cart will get stuck in the mud, and there will be no lighting a fire with the tinder all damp, and like as not a wind will get up and we'll have no choice but to turn back to avoid hypothermia and rotting damp and dysentery. We'll probably have to resort to cannibalism just to survive the return trip. Luckily, Thar's a pretty well-fed chap; he'll make a passing fair meal. Arm is too scrawny and Julian is so small he'd only be useful as the hors d'oeuvres."
The fact that they are less than a day out of the city does not seem to register with Edmund. For all he is concerned, they might as well be on back of beyond. At any rate, the wizard seems to brighten a bit at the prospect of impending doom and possible cannibalism, and he continues to glance up at the sky expectantly.
"Any minute now," he says cordially, just as he has done every hour or so since the party set out.
Revi Friday May 1st, 2009 10:27:09 PM "Ever eat another human, Edmund?" Revi's face was emotionless, a blank stare, "Not very tasty, not at all." Revi turned away, her stoic demeanor faded and she went back to whistling again.
Ruby Friday May 1st, 2009 11:14:44 PM
Ruby found her pace even on her side of the caravan and she smiled as she moved along. Glancing back she keeps a watch upon both the caravan and her surroundings, but her thoughts still continue to wander. Shaking her head she tries to figure out something that she could either do for Thar or make for him. She could maybe buy something for him, but that felt so impersonal to her.
Julian (Small size) ...updating CS... Saturday May 2nd, 2009 5:52:24 AM
"Yeah, all right -Edmund. That'll do. We all know that you don't like 'earning' the gold... which is a shame really, you not bad in a fight. You should learn to enjoy it."
Wynum Saturday May 2nd, 2009 10:41:23 AM
Letting the caravan lurch forward some more, Wynum leaves some more distance between them and him, as he mumbles and tries to reassure himself.
"Well he did say Julian's too small. Maybe I'm too big. He didn't mention centaurs. Maybe elves can't eat centaurs. That's right, they can't eat centaurs. It would not be cannibalism. They can only eat other elves. Revi told it, human not tasty. Centaur, no, no. What a strange folk. What about those biscuits? What were they made of?"
Somewhat reassured by his logic, he ambles forward again and hails Thar.
"No worry, Thar, I packed some extra rations before we left. Oh, and you know, centaurs don't eat elves. In fact I don't eat meat. But I did eat a vegepygmy once. A small one."
On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Sunday May 3rd, 2009 3:09:04 PM
As the road begins to enter the Blackheart Woods, however, there is a distinct feeling of unease that begins to permeate the atmosphere. The chirping of birds has definitely diminished, and there's a sort of subliminal tension in the air.
Those who are ahead of the party, Thar and Shadow, I believe, give Spot and Listen checks. What other efforts are you making? What is your distance from the party?
Revi d20+12=13 ; Sunday May 3rd, 2009 3:35:05 PM

Thar is ~ 50' in front of the party, staying very close to the woods. He's looking into the woods up, down and every which way. He's looking for marks, prints, or anything out of the ordinary, especially potential traps or enemies in wait. He's trying to stay in the shadows, remaining quiet and unobtrusive. Something is going on, though he's not sure what...
Arm Monday May 4th, 2009 6:04:04 AM
Noticing that Thar is slowing down, Arm overhears Ed's comments and growls loud enough for anyone to hear, "Get within 10 feet of me with hunger in your eyes, spellslinger, and you'll be feasting on your own intestines...that's a PROMISE...leave it to YOU to worry about something that will probably never happen instead of concentrating on the task at hand.".

OOC: Looks good for how Thar and Shadow would be (but would at the very least be within earshot if not sight of rest of the group).
IC: Shadow uses his tricks of the trade to remain focused even though the journey so far as been far from exciting. Once the group enters the woods however it does not take much for him to remain alert and will be checking his side of the trail out just like Thar.
Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps Monday May 4th, 2009 2:37:48 PM

Edmund d20+3=13 ; d20+1=18 ; Monday May 4th, 2009 3:55:41 PM
Edmund dislikes the feel of the wood and does his best to gravitate towards the centre of the group, where he can be best protected by the other, heavily armoured, party members.
"Must have cleared up a little, just as we got into the forest," Edmund says, owing to the conspicuous lack of any precipitation whatsoever. "Like as not it'll be a hurricane when we come out."
Looking around and to the sides for anything unusual or threatening, Edmund frowns a bit.
"Not much a fan of this woody bit," he says. "How long until we come out of it?"

(Map info: Thar and Shadow's positions have been adjusted to reflect their wishes, Wynum is NOT on the map and roughly 40ft off the map. I am assuming at this point that everyone is still in the caravan.)
Thar and Shadow need to make Spot and Listen checks please. The rest of the party remains in the wagon as the road becomes rougher and harder navigate. Ruts in the road way have gotten deeper and soggy.
Wynum, suppose that you can make checks if you wish.
To the left of the road way, the vegetation is thinner than the right, but still heavy enough to hinder movement. To the right, heavy tree growth and hillier terrain (there are hills sprouting out about 200 yards or so to the north), so unless your a druid, you are having difficulty moving.

Glancing around, again, Edmund gives the surrounding area a cursory once-over.
"You know, this is the sort of place you hear about in children's stories--cautionary tales about why not to wander into the woods," he adds. "You never know what you might find around a bend in the road or behind a withered tree."

Managing to hear Julian's whisper, Arm quietly replies, "I don't think so, my friend..I've known him long enough to know that he wouldn't be testing us when we're 'in the field'. I fear that something is afoot, though what I do not know.". He then does his own bit of recognoitering (spot=14, listen=31), hoping that Thar will call them to approach soon.

Edmund d20+3=17 ; d20+1=11 ; Tuesday May 12th, 2009 1:02:36 PM
((DM: Edmund didn't leave the wagon. He pointedly remained with it.))
As the others begin to act as though a group of enemies are about to bear down on them, Edmund folds his arms across his chest.
"What's going on, then?" he asks of Julian and Arm. "Like as not it's just something suspicious he wants to investigate. There's no need to rush in, waving our weapons and throwing fireballs left and right as we go. Be calm! When and if something occurs, we're more than prepared, and everything will be fine. It's probably just a downed tree, or a badger in the brush!"
Edmund returns to waiting patiently, glancing about for Thar's imminent, safe return.

Thar AC 26/25, 70/70 hps d20+5=14 ; Tuesday May 12th, 2009 2:10:58 PM
As Thar moves closer to the wreckage, he notices something very disturbing, something very very very disturbing... "This is something I need to tell the others..." he thinks to himself and moves quietly and stealthily back to where Shadow is and points out his new finding. He asks, "Before we move on, I think we should bring the rest of the group up and do a full investigation of this wreckage. I'm not entirely sure what we're facing..."
He tries to tell where the webbing and burns might have come from, possibly acidic spiders or fire using enemies? Know (Nature) = 14
Wynum Tuesday May 12th, 2009 6:43:06 PM
Seeing that the group is tense and nothing more, Wynum assumes Edmund has said something a little bit too polite or too rude to Arm. He keeps his normal distance to the wagon whatever happens.

Ruby keeps her spot on the wagon, though is surprised when Hermes takes to the trees for protection. To be honest though, she cannot blame him for his decision and she would hate to lose him to a stray spell.
She continues to keep her eyes and ears open for trouble. Maybe her position will help her to notice something before it is upon them, but she doubts it.

Once Thar is done discussing the situation with Shadow, he'll quickly move back and tell everyone else what he's found at the campsite. Since he found no immediate threats, he suggests that everyone move up to the site and set up a defensive perimeter and investigate the site.
Edmund Wednesday May 13th, 2009 2:15:08 PM
Edmund raises his eyebrows when Thar returns to the wagon to explain the goings-on and his plan to set up a perimeter around the wreckage.
"Seems sensible," Edmund says. "Though if Wil's men aren't here now, I don't expect they'll be back any time soon. What's more, anything that the perpetrators wanted to take with them is already gone, and I doubt they'll be back soon either."
"I've nothing against a secure investigation, as long as we don't find ourselves in the reactive position of sitting around waiting for the baddies to come to us. Especially with lives on the line--we should be looking for them, and not the other way round."

Hermes remains where he is at and keeps an eye out for his friend. He does not feel comfortable returning to the caravan just yet and Ruby is unsure as to what has caused this. Maybe it is the same thing that is unsettling her.

Edmund continues to direct the wagon (and porters? are they still with us?) forward to the junction, keeping a wary eye open, and an ear perked, for any sign of danger. The wizard's attitude has gone from jovial to deadly serious in a moment, and there's no talk of weather or tea now--indeed, his taciturnity is the very opposite of everything Revi has likely seen to this point.
With a grim face, he addresses the wagon tenders quietly. "Steady on, now. We'll come to a stop just up at this fork. Keep an eye open."
Unfortunately, the rattling of the wagon wheels seems to have momentarily overcome anything else as far as Edmund's hearing is concerned.

Leaping to his feet in the wagon, Edmund sternly rebukes the porters. "Out from under those seats! Do you think they'll let you go if we don't defeat them? Nothing to lose, then! To arms!"
Edmund then casts Haste on himself, and on those who are now within range: Shadow, Arm, Revi, Julian, Wynum (who is now 20' away), and Thar (who has moved East and is presumably within range now)*. Edmund will also Haste whichever porter is courageous enough to stand first. Those affected no doubt feel a strange sensation as if the entire universe is tugging on them. Strangely, everything but those also affected seems to be moving in slow motion. Veterans of the Mithril Order will surely recognise the effects of Edmund's Patent Speed Enchantment.
"I was hoping we could avoid such a mess," Edmund says mournfully as he surveys the approaching Bugbears to the west. "No such luck. Oh well, the sooner we finish them, the sooner we can have our tea!"

Edmund (HP: 44/44, AC: 12) Hastened Monday May 18th, 2009 10:47:59 PM Correction to my post:

Revi feels the magic course through her body and decides right then and there, someone has to die. "RRRRAAAAAARRRRHGHH!!!" She bellows out as the world turns red with her rage and charges the nearest bugbear, greatsword in tow--it's frosty blade dragging behind her until she leaps into battle and raises it overhead with both hands to bring it's might down on her foe. Arashi faithfully follows behind to join the battle. Not sure how far away the enemy is. Revi's movement with Haste is base 70 (30+30haste,+10fast mvmt, +10boots, -10armor), so 140 charge. If she is not in range for a charge, she will run at 3x her speed for 210 and use her improved overrun to knockover the nearest bugbear.
RAGE: 8/8 rds

PARTY ACTIONS, END ROUND TWO Revi, you made a DC 29 Listen check (heard common arcane stuff.... jibber-jabber) that round and the spell was cast simultaneously as Thar was being attacked. Additionally, there is no reason to believe that, at that moment (because you didn't see the bugbears, that they were related to the spellcaster.) You know where your friends are on the battle field. Sorry, you are Charmed. The request to take the wagon north is not unreasonable, however, you can rationalize why you wouldn't. :) [First round is a wash... we are past that. Round two may also be wasted. Round 3 is now, do whatever you think she MIGHT do under a Charm Person with no real commands made to her.]
Julian, would however, receive the +5 o his Will. He moves toward the bugbears? into the fray? You hit your target twice and he is not pleased. You made your saves.
Ruby remains hidden and moving.
Edmond casts Fly moves up. Visibility of your friends through the canopy is difficult. targeting one thing from this vantage is difficult. From this height, the northern portion of the trail is at 20% concealment, over the road and south of the trail visibility is good.
Arm misses.
Shadow just misses being spotted by the brown skinned elf near him.
Thar moves and he sees a spellcaster, brown skinned elf, in front of him. He fires and misses. (Sorry about the missed move statement. I hope I have you roughly where you need to be. I stopped you before you fired within reach of the bugbear. :))
ENEMY ACTIONS: The bugbear struck by Julian and swung by Arm is NOT happy, but there is little to do. He drops his bow and draws a nice morningstar and swings at Julian. (Hits AC 21 for 12 damage)
The four buggys n the other side continue to fire at Thar, now taking minor penalties. (One hits AC 25, for 9 damage)
The two elven casters, now that they are made, change tactics.
One ray shoots at Thar from the elf in front of him. (ranged touch, only dex and deflection count to Touch AC 18, and take 10 strength damage)
One ray zips at Ruby. (ranged touch, only dex and deflection count to Touch AC 17, for 6 strength damage)
Ruby [HP: 74/74 - AC: 24][haste][-6STR] d20+13=21 ; d6=4 ; Wednesday May 20th, 2009 10:24:15 PM
The ray strikes Ruby head on and she feels her strength start to be drained away from it. It would cause problems but she was happy that she relies upon her reflexes for combat...though she will miss the help from her muscles.
Slipping her rapier out from beneath her cloak she moves towards the elven mage with clear intent to punch him full of little holes. She has not moved her other hand from inside her cloak and there is little way to know what she might be holding.
[hit: 21 and damage: 4]
Edmund (HP: 44/44, AC: 17) Hastened, Flying, Mage Armoured Thursday May 21st, 2009 12:33:25 AM
Edmund moves even higher into the air, holding his position one hundred feet above the cart. From this vantage point, he casts Mage Armour on himself.
OOC: A friendly reminder of what Haste does... 1) +1 Bonus to Attack Rolls 2) +1 Dodge Bonus to AC 3) +1 to Reflex Saves 4) When making a full attack, you may make an extra attack with any weapon you are holding. 5) Move speed increases by as much as 30 feet; up to double your maximum speed.
DM Sanity Info. Standard Action: Cast Mage Armour Move Action: 40 feet Up (Now at 100 ft. ht.) Checks: N/A Saves: N/A

Arm [HP 33/33 AC 22] Hasted d20+9=23 ; d20+4=18 ; d8+6=12 ; d8+6=11 ; Thursday May 21st, 2009 5:43:41 AM
Grimacing, Arm swings again at the bugbear, hopefully with better results this time (attk:23,18 dmg: 12,11).
OOC: I'm not sure if the 2nd attk hits, but I included the dmg anyway... :)
Julian (Small size) AC 20, hp 88 (Bear's Endurance, Haste, True Strike) Thursday May 21st, 2009 5:54:54 AM
OOC Julian used a full attack on the previous round - he would not have been able to move into the fray holding only a bow.
Seeing Arm handle the nearest bugbear, Julian casts True Strike again and lines up the one that tried to fry Thar. He does not move from his position on the road.
Spells 6/7/5 used 0/2/1
Thar AC 27/26, 64/70 hps, Mag Circle vs. Evil d20+14=28 ; d6+3=6 ; Thursday May 21st, 2009 9:40:43 AM
Thar barely dodges the ray attack against him, and continues moving forward to attack the annoying elf that had the temerity to attack a fellow elf. In elven, Thar calls out, "Wrong move my friend. Better luck next time," before moving forward in his hasted state and stabbing at the enemy's torso...

On the Road Again...(ADM Jay B) Thursday May 21st, 2009 12:30:32 PM
OOC: Okay folks, sorry to leave things hanging, but things are rough right now and I need to take at least a day away. I might have to leave my job, after 12 and 1/2 years, for sanity sake, I need a break from everything and I am making mistakes in everything at nearly every turn. My mind is cluttered. Fact is, I am seriously considering dropping the Wold for a bit. Its nothing to do with you, I like the game and that is why a break is in order.
Revi, sorry for rolling saves for you. Fact is, I find if someone knows whats coming, they tend to alter their current actions to keep the scenerio from occurring. Truth be told, if you hadn't made the listen check in your post, I may not of even targeted you, I would have targeted someone else. Additionally, I was just following the mod as I read it.
Sigh. I'll stop now. See you all tomorrow, maybe. Post freely and I'll try to post Friday.
Shadow [AC 24/19 HP 47/47] d20+17=31 ; d20+24=27 ; Thursday May 21st, 2009 4:26:25 PM
(OOC: Jay, take care of yourself - we can wait or hang-out if needed!)
IC: Shadow hopes the elf's attention stays on his companions so he can continue to sneak up behind him. He will very quietly lower his bow to the ground and draw out his best dagger. Since he is hasted he will continue to move around his foe (to get behind him).
Actions: Move Silently=31 Hide=27
Julian (Small size) AC 20, hp 88 (Bear's Endurance, Haste, True Strike) Thursday May 21st, 2009 9:45:35 PM
oh, sorry to hear that Jay - for you that is. Look after yourself.
Arm [HP 33/33 AC 22(23-haste)] Hasted d20+10=21 ; d20+5=25 ; d20+5=10 ; d8+6=14 ; d8+6=9 ; Friday May 22nd, 2009 5:42:50 AM
OOC: Be well, Jay...may the Goddess grant you the wisdom to work through your time of trouble. I inadvertently missed the extra attacks and +1 to hit that was provided by the haste spell, so I included it above...attk-21, 25 (no confirmed crit), dmg 14,9
Wynum (See Invis. ; Haste) AC19 d20+20=25 ; d6+5=7 ; Friday May 22nd, 2009 1:04:49 PM
Wynum shoots a sling bullet at the nearest bowbear, trying to smash its weapon, then reloads.
What does Wynum sees of the spellcasters? If he sees them, does he see any item they are wielding? Ranged Sunder check 25. (Succeeds if the bugbear's attack score is 15 or less) Damage : 7 (a mundane bow is hard 5 hp 5)
Ruby [HP: 74/74 - AC: 24][haste][-6STR] Friday May 22nd, 2009 10:03:24 PM
Not a problem Jay. Take care of yourself and we will be fine without you for a few.
