Vauhwyt lets the others know via secrete message that they are being scryed again. At first Aztyr dosn't know what Vauhwyt is taking about. Vauhwyt wonders if Vorelle went to the library. Malgant continues the talking in code perhaps forgetting that he can't be see or heard by the scry, but it does cause Aztyr to get a clue and cast Telepathic Bond so they the group can communicate freely. The odd passerby-er my wonder why the occasionally just stare at one another.
Malgant feels an itch on the back of his neck like he is being observed, but he doesn't see anyone, just a bunch of Minotaurs going about their daily business.
Meanwhile, Vorelle is wandering the town spots a tail following her a youngish rouge like Minotaur. The human ranger easily gives the follower the slip, by getting lost in a crowed then ducking into an hiding place. She watches the young Minotaur rouge looks down different streets, and in shops for her before he gives up and heads away.
After Malgant is through at the bar and the others at the catacombs, the party regroups.
Later in the day Malgant gets that itchy feeling again. Anyone with Malgant perception vs DC23 Highlight to display spoiler: {You keep seeing the same Minotaur where every you go. He appears to be trying not to be obvious about it.}

Aztyr wonders if they catch the new tail or just split. Vauhwyt's for spiting. Malgant fails to spot him even when pointed out, he agrees with Vauhwyt to just leave. Valanthe suggest inviting him for a drink.

Vorelle is accustomed to thinking of Malgant as the guy who can do everything. He casts spells, he fights in melee, he talks to people, he does all this stuff. Can he really not see the minotaur sitting over there?
"The fellow in the green tunic, with the reddish-black fur, at the table just past the end of the bar," she murmurs. [I don't think Vorelle was available when the Telepathic Bond was cast. If she was, she thinks it instead.] "He's different from the person who followed me earlier, so there are at least two of them. Probably more."
She's pretty confident in her ability to hide from these guys, but there is the rest of the party to be considered. "I don't know. I think we need to talk to them," she says.

Aztyr has absolutly no trouble picking out said Minotaur, she was about to say something, but the Vorelle gave a discription and she knew she had the right 'Taur picked out. Aztyr reaches out and lays a hand on both Malgant and Vorelle, as soon as she does so, she mutters a few words, those who know her, hear her begin a Teleport spell, and then the spinning and squeezing sensation begins and happens almost instantly, they then reappear right behind the Minotaur, or right next to, if he's backed up to a building. (teleport, no problem) "I think Malgant here, wants a word with you. Vorelle wants to invite you to a meal, you've been busy all day with all your sneaking around following us."

Spotting the tailing Taur, Aztyr grabs hold of Malgant and Vorelle teleporting next to the Minotaur in question. She informs the very surprised rogue Taur that they wish to have a word and meal with him. The spying Minotaur is caught off guard, as he looks around helplessly, eyes wide with panic.
The centaur Vauhwyt, laughs at the poor spy caught by Aztyr quick thinking, but suggest they use fake names in the future. The scry is still watching Aztyr, having followed her teleport across the market square at a good pace, but not instantaneously.
Malgant questions the Minotaur suggesting at nearby tavern, the fellow gulp, but nods accepting that he's been caught.
Vorelle looks around for any other people following them, while the spell casting, teleport has drawn attention from some of the bystanders, no one appears overtly interested in the group.
Escorting the stealthy Minotaur into the tavern, the group finds a quite corner to talk. The fellow starts off "I was just paid to follow you, nothing more. That's all the pretty little halfling wanted. She paid me good coin in advance! She even promised to give me a kiss if I did a good job." he gets a dreamy look in eye "Normally I don' t care about the wee people, but she is sooo pretty I can't help it."

Do you have any of the coins she gave you? Specifically the coins she gave you, those that were in her possession. I'll pay you for them, they are worth more than their monetary value to me." As Malgant says this he spreads a napkin ( or whatever other small wrapping type thing he might have handy) for the Taur to place the coins on. Mentally he says " Aztyr, I know the link will be slight, it is only money, but you have seen her and will have something she touched, would you be able to find her? If you can I suggest a new destination other than the temple of Gargul. I think she would LOVE to see us."" I also wouldn't take that kiss from her. She wanted to kiss me and I got the feeling it would be the last kiss I ever received while I drew breath. Besides, halflings aren't my type. Did she give you anything else? A time and a place to meet her, a likeness of us so you could find us, or a way to contact her perhaps?"

As Malgant asks his questions, Aztyr responds the same way, through the link.* Malgant, as long as I have spell energy, I always have it ready to cast. As for scrying the halfling, that I can do, but it's an hour long ritual. During that time, they could make quite a few preparations for our arrival. I'll also cast Detect magic and give him a good looking over, it doesn't degrade my spell energy by enough to even be noticable.* Aztyr casts Detect Magic and examines the youngish 'taur, looking for even the faintest trace of magic on him. She makes some effort to minimize the scrutitiny (bluff 15)

Giving a knowing glace at Malgant, Vorelle ask the caught spy to describe the halfling woman. The minotaur goes glassy eye as he describes her "She had hair the color of newly spun gold, her eyes were deep pools of endless emerald love, the voice was that of a best of all nightingale so soft and knowing. She smelled of dew from a fresh spring morning. She is the embodiment of all the best of what is woman." he sighs at the though. The description more or less resembles the same halfling that visited you early in the morning.
Malgant agrees via the mental link, then continues to chat with the fellow asking for some of the coins. The rouge hold his coin pouch tight, as he respond "The coins are special, be cause she gave them to me too! I will not willing part with them. I've been following you all day, and I still don't see why she would be interested in you when he could gladly have me! Not kiss her are you mad? No, your trying to keep me from her! You want her all to yourself, I see that now clearly as the sun in the sky. I'll not help you find her, even if you break my legs!"
Responding mentally to Malgant, Aztyr examines the taru's aura and indeed find he is under the power of charm magic.
Vauhwyt makes some small talk with Valanthe as the others deal with the captured Taur spy.

Speaking to the befuddled Taur, Malgant tells him in so many words he will die if the gets in the way of them catching the halfling.
Vorelle and Valanthe readies to catch the fellow if they tries to run.
Aztyr cast the protection from evil spell upon the Minotaur spy.
The fellow blinks a few times and gets a confused look upon his face, "What am I saying, if you want to off that little mark it's no skin off my snout. Here take the coins, that cursed little rat must have bewitched me, I want nothing more to do with her. What was I thinking kissing a halfling, I'd sooner eat dirt! I can't tell you how to find her, she said she would find me."
He put the pouch of coins she gave him on the table.

Malgant thanks Imod for small favors." I would lie low for a few days. If she does find you I doubt she will be pleased you were spotted." To his friends he sends a message. " Let us head to the Mangled Centaur and conduct the scrying spells. I will scry at the same time as you Aztyr. I think she is nearby and controlling the sphere, thus I can lead us to her in the city if you are unable to see her. The Centaur is Hallowed to Imod since my ceremony and should be a fine place to scry from."

Malgant pays the rouge for the coins and suggest he lay low for a few days. He mentally suggest a plan and heading to Mangled Centaur to his companions. It's about a hundred gold coins total.
Aztyr agrees, adding that the rouge may want to spend a few days at the temple. Vauhwyt wonders if they should warn the Taru that he will still be charmed when the protection wears of.
Vorelle suggest being cautious that the spy was just too easy and maybe the halfing is still one move head.
The Centaur Vauhwyt wants to stop chasing the halfing and hit Mount Bone directly. Valanthe reminds the disguised liontaur about the link of the halfing to the Orb and impostors.
The rouge Taur, glances around in the silence of the table as the heroes giving meaningful glances at one another as they converse mentally, the Taur taking his new coins ask hesitantly "Yea, if your done with me, I'll be on my way, to visit the temple ..." He'll get up and make his way out, unless any one objects or bars his way.

OOC sorry, a cold snuck up on me and sneak attacked me into unconsciousness last night.
IC As they travel to the Mangled Cetaur Malgant states his reasons for wanting to go after the halfling. " I realize the halfling may well be a trap, but I have to try and stop that sphere from eating the temple and the city. The scrying Imod granted me will allow me to detect certain things that Aztyr can't. I say we start scrying at the same time so that neither one of us sets off a warning to the halfling. I will then cast my divinations while Aztyr gets a fix and shrinks those who need shrinking so that we can teleport in one go. This halfling may know where the Master is, so I think the risk that it is a trap is worth taking." Once a room is secured and Aztyr is ready he begins the ritual to scry on the halfling ( start casting Greater Scrying)

Vauwhyt mentally reminds the others about the active scry.
Malgant leads the group to the Mangled Centaur laying out a plan to find the halfling. Arriving at the Inn, the Minotaur secures a room for the scrying.
Vorelle feeling useless, notes but dismisses as non threatening, the sound of someone snoring in the next room obviously having drunk too much from the smell of his breath that makes it through the small cracks in the wall, or the sounds of of a mouse crossing the floor in the empty room on the other side of party's room.
Aztyr begins the hour long casting of her scry spell using one of the gold coins as a link to the halfing. Malgant times his much short casting spell (1 action) so that they both begin actual scrying at the same time.
Valanthe keeps guard on the door, trusting Vorelle's acute scenes to give them ample warning of trouble.
After, one hour with no interruptions, both scry's successfully begin (Will saves 9 vs DC22 Aztyr scry, and save:20 vs DC21 Ma's Greater Scrying). Both Mal via the magic and Aztyr in her mirror see an image of a alluring woman, with Tiny horns, bat-like wings and a sinuous tail betraying her demonic nature as she leads a small group of other outsiders three Ogre Mages and another like herself though what appears to be a war camp of outsiders Oni and other Demons, in some underground place. As you watch she and her crew approach an old stone structure, with a few outsider and undead guards at the entrance.

Before the scrying begins, Vauhwyt casts her long-term buffs: barkskin from wand, false life (+12 hp), greater magic fang (x2 from staff), greater magic weapon (armor spikes), heroism, magic circle vs evil, and magic vestment (from Mal on her buckler).

She is ready to teleport this instant. Aztyr can take Mookie, and she can teleport to follow.

If we are being observed, we cannot take a lot of time to buff. I say not more than three rounds, tops. Aztyr, looks like you've got 12-14 rounds of buffing going on there! Which is great, but if they are watching, we can't afford it.
Also, did any of the enemy see the sensor? Or otherwise detect the scry? That's another reason to NOT delay. We may have warned them just as they have warned us.
Mal, you've got Holy Aura, True Seeing, Death Ward on Mal, Death Ward on Val. That's four rounds.
If Vauhwyt gets three-four rounds to buff, she casts Greater Invisibility on Vorelle, Mal, and Val. Aztyr, you got yourself, right? Her final buff is See Invisibility shared/cast on Mookie. After Mookie teleports away with Aztyr, Vauhwyt will follow, and Mookie will have to be able to find his mistress.
Arcane Spell Fail on these four spells: No Problem.
I'll hold off on rolling the Teleport just yet.

With Successful Scry, the heroes have a bead on their target and they swing into action casting their prep spells. Nether Mal or Aztyr see anyone reacting to their scry spells.

As, the group prepares Mal and Aztyr see in the scry, the alluring demon woman and her group enter the stone structure, it appears to be a work area with more guards and a lich who is putting the finishing touches on a magic circle of some sort. He turns to the demon woman saying something then casting a Veil spell upon the group making them look like two liontaurs, a Minotaur, dark elf, and human. Looking very similar to what your group looked like when you attacked the wizards lab. The Lich proceeds to give some instructions then one by one the group weapons ready steps into the magic circle and disappear. The last is the demon woman looking like Valanthe steps into the teleportation circle and disappear. Both Scry spells start to speed off to the west northwest at many miles per hour passing through rock and stone then from a mountain side through a wasteland.

Vauhwyt always has several stock items shrunk in her haversack, like the dead cow she fed the fledglings and the rowboat she pulled out to cross the river recently. Vauhwyt has these pre-cast and readied just like an archer always has 20 arrows in her quiver.

Also, every day, first thing in the morning, Vauhwyt casts Extended Greater Magic Weapon on Mal's weapon, and he casts Extended Magic Vestment on Vauhwyt's buckler. These are standard procedures we set up long ago.
Vauhwyt has only one 6th level spell, and it is Contingency. Which has a casting time of 10 minutes. It is clearly intended to be cast before an adventure. I mentioned it on my PC sheet. I thought I had mentioned it in posts, but maybe I did not. My intention was this: Contingent Greater Invis on Vauwhyt and on Mookie. Both triggered by saying nonsense words, such as "slithery tove," say. The idea is that in combat you can utter the right words (a free action) and in essence cast a quickened greater invisibility. I hope this is okay. Otherwise I don't get to use any 6th level spell at all, which would be a bummer!

This is the Telepathic Bond Aztyr cast when we first realized today that we were under scryveillance.
So the above spells were cast before the scry spells.
You are saying we cannot cast spells in the hour that Aztyr was casting her scry because we would be acting on the info that we got from the scry. Fair enough. Vauhwyt will cast only these three spells before casting her teleport: Barkskin (from wand), Magic Circle, and Heroism. Sorry, Val, Mal, and Vorelle! I'da liked to give you guys greater invis, but there's no time now. Next raid (tomorrow) we'll do better on the buffing.
Finally, in the same round as the teleport, Vauhwyt and Mookie will use their contingencies to go greater invis. Then Mookie teleports with Aztyr, and Vauhwyt follows with whoever needs a ride.
"Get your axes ready," Vauwhyt tells Vorelle mentally. "We're going in close, hitting hard, and then blipping out."
"Remember, everybody, we all attack the same target, whoever Mal tells us to. We attack until they are dead, we grab the body so they can't be raised, and we blip out. Aztyr, what's our teleport destination on the exit? We should decide now. Temple of Imod in Imod City?"

DM listed all the spells cast, by caster name, then the spell... I adjusted my spell list to match his listings.

Since, Aztyr is casting the first teleport. The finale decision is her's as to how many rounds to buff. I'm find with 4 to 15 rounds. Just need to know.
All the spells marked as -100 were from from this morning, I just needed a large value to properly sort them in the spreadsheet. I've corrected the magic weapon that I had as Vauh casting on Mal to be a greater magic weapon spell cast in the morning.
I'm ok with Vauh's having a contengacy with the non-sense word, but you can only have one contengancy in effect at a time. Also, Is Vauwhyt casting heroism on herself or Mookie? (the Share Spell works differently {Nerfed} under Pathfinder)

Note to DM: Highlight to display spoiler: {While of course I am pleased with whatever ruling you make, may I respectfully submit to you an unofficial and non-binding Rules Board discussion of Dec. 13 last year, in which Troy offers the suggestion: "Contingency and Share Spell -- I would suspect when using Share Spell the 'You' becomes your familiar. I don't see anything that would prohibit having a contingency on both you and your familiar." I'm hoping to use Share Spells to cast one contingency on Vauhwyt and another different casting on Mookie. }
Vauhwyt's three spells minimum are Heroism, Barkskin, and Magic Circle, all on herself. If Aztyr chooses to cast for more than three rounds, Vauhwyt will also.

OOC: I've changed spells cast 3 times now.. With Glenn's decision to type out all of the spells cast I accepted the fact that all were cast and everyone has those buffs. He'd already caused the actions to occur and I'm satasfied with what he said. So with that said, I don't plan on going back yet another time and figuring out what goes where.

OOC He appears to be using a teleportation circle to send them out. If we get in trouble, it sounds like we can activate it as well and end up wherever he sent the other group. It isn't a good solution, but it is better than a last stand in his lair if things go terribly wrong. Also, don't step on it. That is what activates it from what I see in the Players Guide.

OOC But Vauhwyt isn't casting a second contingency. The first one is being shared with Mookkie if I understand the argument. Therefore there is no second contingency spell. Oh, Nevermind, I just read share spell under familiar and boy howdy did they spank wizards on that one. Familiars are pretty darn useless now since you need to double cast your defensive spells to include them too. Pathfinder giveth and Pathfinder taketh away.

OOC If we go the full 15 rounds of spells, which it appears we are going to, I cast shield other on Val as my first spell. It lasts the longest and since she will be close up to the lich I view her as most likely to get the snot pounded out of her.

Mal, yes, they really nerfed Share Spells. The ONLY advantage to Share Spells is that I can cast on Mookie spells with the target of YOU. That's it. So to buff Mookie and Vauhwyt, I have to cast the same buff on him and then on me. Two castings.
For Contingency, though, we're going with only one at a time possible, so no Share Spell Contingency with Mookie. Vauwhyt CAN share spells like False Life and Alter Self with Mookie -- the latter, by the way, let's him be any small or medium humanoid. Also, Mookie does not have to stay within 5 ft any more, so Aztyr can teleport him off and none of his Shared Spells go away.
Okay, no problem, we'll do the full complement of spells. Here goes:
