Jarga sends two fiery points of heat, searing the skulls of two Zeds as Devlin's and Sam's] bolts smashes into two more, sending them all to the ground, the rogue calls for everyone to run behind the lava. (I redirected Sam and Devlin's bolts to account for multiple people targeting same Zeds). Devlin also sees Z12 stumble into the lava pit, arms outstretched hungrily at him as it slowly dissolves.
Siv shanks a zed through the spinal chord, and then runs back, Braugh following close behind as Delrid wonders if the melee guys would like to double their reach and size.
BlackAxe sees the advancing horde and shouts, "Aye, back into the ravine!" as he trots on his mount backwards towards the casters.
You are reducing their numbers, but the Zombies press on, chasing Braugh, Siv, BlackAxe, and RedForge.
They stumble and skip over their fallen companions... and pick up speed.
Two crash into BlackAxe's Bear (miss AC 7 and 5), then the Dwarf smacks them away with his shield, cleaving one in twain, then he notices that one zombie steps unknowingly into a pool of lava above him (Red Circle) and begins to sink into it without noticing.
RedForge pulls yet another vial from his pack and tosses it behind him. A green goo spreads over the ground, and four zombies' feet stick to the mess, a few detaching from the bodies, making them fall face-first, like a roach in a hotel (Blue circles)
Z10 charges Siv and scratches at Blue (miss AC 9) and Z 19 claws at Braugh (miss AC 5). Judging by their speed, if you hold your ground, there will be half a dozen Zeds on each person in front. (Z13 is charging Jarga)

My apologies Forged players. I have been at the Beltwide Cotton Conference in Orlando, Florida for the past week and thus have been away from my desktop, which has the mapmaking program. I thought it would be lame to continue the encounter without a map, considering that your tactics seem to be aided greatly by the use of a map.
You will see a post the second I get back home on Sunday.
Braugh moves infront of the small pond of lava as Jarga and Devlin continue their assault from behind it. The sorcerer sends two fiery pinpoints to scorch the inner skull of two charging Zeds as the rogue's bolt lands in the chest of another, making a sickening thud as it continues to march.
Sam and Tahni stay back and conserve, waiting to see what will happen as Delrid, previously dismounted, enlarges himself to twice his normal dwarven size.
BlackAxe and RedForge also run back to join the group...
The Horde advances Much quicker than before, they charge.
Three slam into Sir Thunderbolt with such force, that it nearly knocks Braugh into the lava behind him. They jump and attempt to grapple at him (incurring an AOO, HIT CMD 19, miss 13, and 5) Their claws scrape and they climb up your warhorse, making Sir Thunderbolt rear in protest (Please succeed on a DC 15 ride or handle animal check or fall off as he bucks wildly) You are now grappling with one, please break it to run away or otherwise act.
Three more charge the now enlarged Delrid and attempt to tackle him as well (Miss CMD 7, 3, and 10), but the wizard evades their grasps.
One reaches Jarga and places its jaws on his boot (miss AC 3)
Several do hear Devlin's taunts and charge him. An dwarven undead foot sinks knee-deep into the lava and trips face-first. The second zombie steps on the firsts' back and makes it a few feet further. A third stumbles across the first two and plops right in front of Devlin, sending drops of lava splashing towards him. But a forth trounces across all three corpses as they slowly disintegrate into the pooled inferno... and reaches the tainted-blooded rogue, spearing him Goldberg-style right in his chest, possibly knocking him from his horse (Hit CMD 18, please succeed on DC 15 ride or handle animal check or be taken from your seat), you are now grappled too.
BlackAxe shouts, Aye, lets make a stand! and he dismounts Ursie with a jump and downward slash cutting a Zed in twain as it charges Sam (hit AC 24 for 12 damage), "Hey Crafter, can you make me twice as big as well?"
RedForge arrives next to Jarga and attempts to decapitate the zombie attacking him, but to no avail (Miss AC 10)
Tally sees the horde relentless assault of the horde and looks back into the canyon nervously.

She keeps an eye on Tally, curious as to what tricks the cleric may pull out against this undead horde. "Someone aid Bruagh!"

The zombie latched onto his trusty boot staggers Jarga slightly, causing RedForge to miss a sweeping cut aimed at its head.
Grunting he raises his palms towards its scalp and spits out a phrase that coalesces into heat between them. A fiery ray sizzles forth raking its skull and there is a crackling and sizzling of steam from its ears.
If it dies:
Shaking the blacken corpse off his boot, Jarga quickly backs away.

Cursing Jarga strengthens his stance and gives RedForge a nod.

Delrid will also try to enlarge BlackAxe in hopes he collocates his stand with Bruagh.Concentration Check = 25.
"General, thanks for calling me crafter. My Dwarven pride shines in the forge. However, my Dwarven pride shines not in melee. I think of myself as 'above' hand-to-hand combat." Delrid says with a wink.
Next round he will cast Levitate and start utilizing web spells to manipulate the battle space.

Braugh slaps the zombies aside with his shieldarm as he tells Sir Thunderbolt to make for the hills and grows double in size
Jarga places his hands over the head of the zombie and begins to cast his spell (please succeed a Concentration check to cast on the defensive, otherwise you... oh wait it rolled a 1 for its AOO). The brain slowly sizzles and pops in the beasts' skull, making it go limp at his feet as he runs away.
Delrid concentrates on avoiding the swipes of the zombies as he enlarges BlackAxe and Sam's grease spell coats the crafter's clothing.
As Devlin struggles to free himself of the undead grasps, Siv charges and skewers the attacking zombie in the back, lifting it from her Roguish friend. It claws at the air as she tosses it into the lava pit.
BlackAxe grows doubly and swipes the head from one zed before taking a 5-foot hop and chopping another to pieces (Hit AC 19 and 30 for 15 and 13). "I can get used to this."
RedForge then chops the one closest to him (hit AC 13 for 10 dmg)
But they advance, charging together.
Delrid is surrounded by biting and chomping as four more zombies join the three attacking previously. (Miss AC 5, 3, 10, 8. HIT AC 12, 12, and 17 for 4+3+2 = 9 damage!) The teeth on your skin tear at flesh, making you feel quite woooozy.
Five zeds are now piled on Braugh (Grapple Miss CMD 5 5, 15 HIT CMD 20. You are now GRAPPLED)
BlackAxe is assaulted by five as well as they reach him (One hits CMD 20 and he is now grappled!) BlackAxe curses, "Bloody hell! Get off me you mongrel!"
15 or so Zombies charge in Devlin and Siv's direction, some making it across the bridge of bodies slowly sinking into the lava. Others falling face-first, making a path across the moat.
Three reach Devlin (Miss CMD 4, 15, hit CMD 18, you are now grappled) But only one reaches Siv (Miss CMD 8)
Tally shakes his head in disbelief, "We cannot hold here for long." Then he runs to the center of the battle and holds up a jeweled emblem of Flower. A ruby red light begins to emit from it...

Tahni puts her Wand of Bless away, and struggles to find her Wand of Protection from Evil. The battle does not look to be going well at all. Bruagh, Blackaxe and Devlin are all grappled. "What is Tally up to?"

A knot of cold, sickening ball of ice forms in Jarga's stomach. With both dread and exasperation he looks at the horde beginning to roil over the lava and surround his friends.
" We need to fall back! " he shouts.
It is chilling to have to decide who to help but Jarga grits his teeth and digs deep.
Two fireballs form and flare, shooting towards the zombies attacking Delrid. They sail over the searing wound in the earth and sizzle into zombie flesh.
But it just isn't enough; breathing heavily, Jarga see's Devlin surrounded by the moaning, hungering dead. He sees their claws grasping and rending and fears for his friend. Within moments Devlin might be buried beneath the dark tide of slavering, gnashing zombies and this Jarga will not abide.
He reaches inside himself, digging deeper and funnels his frustration up through his core, through his arms and reworks it into twin balls of burning, radiant hope. Roaring, he sends them hurtling into two Devlin's foes.
Having given his friends a better chance he smiles and quivering with adrenalin he backs slowly away from the horde. -----
Jarga fires Magic Missiles, uses a Hero Point to perform an extra action and fires Magic Missiles again.
He moves to -78,-CD

He backs away from the creatures as far as he can

Jarga steps back. Summoning balls of energy to start spinning about him, he hurls each into the skull of a zombie surrounding Devlin and Delrid, the rogue using the opportunity to roll to safety as the wizard levitates above the rotting grasps (I see the maximum distance is 20feet up, but can you move horizontally?)
Sam calls to pull back as [/b]Siv[/b] shatters another corpse to pieces and rides away.
BlackAxe shouts as he gets overrun by the horde, "Aye, pull back!" His shield bats two zombies and they go flying, but three more latch onto his massive dwarven boots. He kicks in frustration, sending two flying and a dangler.
Then Tally rides next to Sam, the gnome can smell... roses? The ruby red rose he has been channeling emits a wave of Rosy energy
The zombies, moving or otherwise in a 20-foot radius begin to evaporate into dust... until there is nothing but red sparkles in the sky.. "Like springtime" and he smiles.

Once Delrid has mounted, Tahni will then turn Starbright away from the zombies and flee with the rest of the party.
OOC: Here's my plan Assuming Delrid descends and then mounts the pony next to him (2 move actions - and he'd be seated behind Tahni), Tahni can get to Delrid with 1 move action, then ride away with her second move action. Though I would expect the pony may be carrying a heavy load on the return trip. Fortunately Starbright looks to have the 'run' feat

By that time, the zombies would be ready to grapple both Tahni and Starbright - Starbright is already injured. If the pony falls then both Tahni and Delrid are stuck - Tahni has poor ranged and rope skills. Even if she had the rope, chances are she wouldn't be able to rope Delrid anyway. Delrid could lower a rope to Tahni, but again, her rope handling skills are poor and she'd likely miss it.
The only way I can see that Delrid, Tahni and the pony can get out of there this round are for Delrid to 1. descend and 2. mount the pony. Tahni will then use a standard action to heal the pony, and then move it 40ft away from the zombies.
Delrid's call as to what he wants to do, but Tahni and Starbright are moving this round :)

[b]Jarga runs to LeFleur, and sees that the mare has lost control and began to panick, please someone succeed on a DC 12 Handle Animal to calm her down to be mounted! Jarga can do a RIde of 16 to mount her forcefully.
As you run, you see a huge mass of Onyx stone in front of you, it seems to emanate heat.
The wall of fire beyond erupts.

You must chose the path. Looking down left seems to have random vents of fire bursting from the ground, as the right path's stone crumbles with tremors....

As they step into the ravine wooooosh A rush of flame jets from a crag in the side, Devlin and Sam please succeed on DC 14 Reflex save (trap-like) or take 12 fire damage! If you move at half-speed through the chasm, you get +2 to reflex saves as you are taking time to look for patterns.
Delrid is pulled behind Tahni, and he sees that the passages get narrow and a web spell could easily be strung between two stalagmite-like structures, and if you wait a bit, even connected to either side of the chasm. (The web is a 20-foot radius right? So when the chasm gets below 40-feet wide, it can stretch across)
Braugh and Siv remain to the back and as the group moves forward.
Four zombies rush the warriors (miss AC 12, 13, 12, and 6), and more pile behind them.
Woooosh. A bout of flame erupts beneath one of the zeds as it approaches, incinerating it instantly.
Tally says, "We cant run through this blindly or we will be toast."
How fast do you move down the craggy pathway? Half-speed will make all the DCs to avoid flame go down by 2, but will result in more zeds catching you from behind... and so on in that ratio

Delrid positions a webbing strung between large boulders and the walls of the crevice behind you. A dozen Zombies are instantly caught in the web and become utterly entangled, but two manage to scratch through. (Your DC is 18 right?)
Luckily, BlackAxe stands at the wall of webbing and slashes it to ribbons with two quick flicks of his axe (Hit AC 20 for 13 damage) The Black-Bearded enlarged Dwarf smiles through the gore, "They've slowed to a trickle, check your flank Stormbringer!
Three run around a corner, moaning ravenously, but Braugh turns it into pixie dust with a swipe of his axe (You cant mount a Large animal while Large yourself, smash) Two more slam into your shield (miss AC 13 and 3), scratching wildly.
Tahni heals Starbright with a pat of her mane, and she seems to calm quite a bit. She is still quite shaken though and stutters on every other step (Handle animal to improve this)
Devlin and Sam lead the pack into the dark and unknown fiery pit. They dodge bursts of flame from the ground.

Sam goes to the right and sees a large pool of bubbling Lava, and only a small ledge leading further that way. It would be a balancing act to cross.

Jarga looks around, slightly unsure as to where he is in all of the confusion. He looks across to Tahni, acknowledging her idea with a thumbs up. Looking back whilst riding with the others, he waits either until the web is just diminishing from view. Narrowing his eyes and peering intently at the web in the distance he lets loose another pair of missiles. They whisk towards the web and a trapped zombie and connect with a small whoosh.

Delrid heaves another web behind to slow any zeds that trickle through. By now their numbers must be diminishing through jet of flame, combat, and lack of mobility through the crevasse.
Delrid will attempt to create an illusion of a rocky wall immediately behind the next flame jet the party passes. Hopefully this silent image will cause the undead horde to pause in the heart of a lethal flaming envelope.
