ooc: Welcome League Adventurers, and thank you for introducing yourselves in the interview and for those that responded to my email. Please be patient with your new CoDM, for I am bound to make many minor mistakes when it comes to personalities and locations with which the Players and PCs may be familiar and many thanks to DM Mark for putting together the outline for this module. I plan to dive in to the module pretty quick, so please make any Catacombs purchases ASAP. This is also you last chance to attempt any of the contests.

ic: After leaving the league Peza heads to the docks while taking in the sights of the fast developing city. It is amazing what the fixers have managed to accomplish in such a short period of time. With all of the newly built infrastructure the frontier that you had seen upon first arriving is no longer recognizable as such. This is what Harvest Moon sees with her ever alert senses as both she and Edson follow close behind the petite raven haired ranger.

On the other side of the street Brom chooses to head out by himself. He wanders Rum taking in the sights and sounds of the small city. Sometimes he could close his eyes and he would be home. As he thinks his feet move of their accord. Having spent quite a bit of time at the docks during his time in Rum, Brom finds himself there again, almost like his second home. He is so absorbed in his thoughts that he is most surprised when he notices Barratore behind him with a drink in his hand and Gerox following in his wake doing his best not to get trampled by the crowd.

As you walk about the city you realize that it is much busier than normal and can feel the eyes of the people on you as you move about. Small children talk excitedly as point to your sashes, arguing over who gets to play each of you in their next "battle". All about you excited citizens fill the streets, watching as workers prepare the area for the festivities and a man in an unusually large striped jester's hat announces a triad of competitions designed to entertain the masses

Upon reaching the docks Harvest queues up for the potion test, curious as to what it might be. Well my good lady, the game is simple. I will ask you three questions to test your knowledge. Each of these vials responds to your voice. Answer correctly and the vial fills with something beneficial to add to the potion. Answer incorrectly and the results will be a bit more entertaining for the crowd. Your questions are:

What Spell requires a drop of wasp venom to cast?
Name a spell hat has a material component of a drop of water or a pinch of ash...
What spell has the side effect of making the user sickened while carrying or using a cold iron?

(You can either answer these questions or make a Knowledge Arcana or Spell Craft check)

As the half-elf ponders her questions Edson watches excitedly as a tall man performs a double back flip off the ships mast. "I am going to try that one." He says as he points to the mast and makes his way to sign up. Please make an acrobatics roll

Brom tries his best not to laugh as he notices the game of strength and several young sailors trying their best yet barely sending the ringer up halfway to the bell. Both he and Barratore step up to take a turn, each of them sending a loud metallic chime through the air as they bring the mallet down with terrific force (Prizes will be handed out as soon as I have everyone's attempts in). The young gnome smiles when he hears the bell and finds a safe place to wait for the others while he begins examining the stone they received from the Cat Mother.

Slowly he turns the polished bit of agate in his hand hands, the smooth stone soft against his skin. Something about the stripes on the stone put his mind at ease and then it comes to him. This is one of those Luck Stone he had read about. He recalls that it can boost ones skills or fetch a nice price in the Catacombs, a sale he would have to make before the festivities start if he hopes to sell it today.

Brom, Edson and Harvest Moon Highlight to display spoiler: {You notice that there are many more guards than normal patrolling the streets in preparation for this event}

Edson Highlight to display spoiler: {You notice that several of the guards buttons are much shinier than the others and obviously have much newer uniforms.}

OoC: Welcome, James. And, I hate to hit you with bookkeeping problems right off. But, I think that the reason no one has completed their Catacombs purchases and such because many, if not all of us are way off the wealth mark.

Harvest Moon, for example, was at roughly 10128 gp before the latest loot. Add her share of roughly 1092 gp and that brings her to about 11221. We're all Level 6 now. The Level chart says minimum for 6 is 23500. That's about a 12278 disparity. Almost 50%.

Not to be a whiner or anything, but is there anything you might do to correct this? If this is intentional, please ignore this. I'm fine with that. I'm all for low magic, personally. But, I didn't want to go into the next module with a discrepancy this big that was a mistake.

Dm James I will look into it, however I believe 23,500gp is at lvl 7. By your estimate you are between what is recommended for 5th and 6th. I know that some campaigns may be higher or lower wealth by design, but I have not heard anything special about Rum. Keep in mind that those are also guidelines. You hay have a few levels with low wealth modules and then hit one with a large pay out.

Al/Harvest Moon: You're right. I do have that wrong. Must have looked at the wrong row when updating my CS. That makes the disparity just over 5000 gp. Not as bad. But that's around the price of a decent magic item at this level.

Her head turns to follow first one guard and then the next. There are many more now that there ever were before. This, before returning her full attention to the questions. They are all questions about spells. She had not been expecting this. And yet, there are things that she has read about different magics.

Harvest Moon blows the crest of her hair from her face with a puff of breath while contemplating the questions. A drop of wasp venom to cast? A drop of water or a pinch of ash. And what makes the user sickened while carrying or using cold iron?

Hert vanishes in the crowd, pulling the hood on his full gray cloak. Attractions of the festival do not interest him: he watches each for a minute or so, before moving to the next one. As he finishes walking though the docks, he leaves other adventurers behind to go to the local marketplace.

He spends a handful gold coins to buy some simple food: bread, cheese, vegetables, and borrows a cup. He then carries the goods around the town, walking though the main streets to the outskirts of Rum. He gives out the food to the beggars and poor families, listening to their stories as they eat and sharing some stories of his own. He tries to leave at least a couple of silver coins to each of those who he helps.

A lot of time passes before he is finally done. No matter though, unless he is distracted, he is willing to spend weeks on doing his work as a priest of Gargul and as a human being.

OOC:
Hert spends 50gp and the festival time on his charity work.
He will take the reward from after the battle in money. Should I buy something from Catacombs IC or just add it to my character list?

DM James Yes. Please buy equipment in character in the Catacombs.

Barratore grins at Brom as both he and the powerful human send the clear chime through the area. The minotaurs eye then drifts up the tall mast and he grins again. "Time to soak some spectators." He chuckles at Brom. Barratore collects his prize from the strength contest and walks over to the diving contest.

Barratore watches as Edson performs his dive, flip or wriggling plunge, depending on what ends up happening. If Edson is relatively successful, he claps and lets out a deep 'Woot!'

"Time to soak the crowds" he tells the man at the bottom of the mast. Barratore takes off his armor and sword, letting it clank and ring as he drops the stuff on the dock. Grabbing the ladder, Barratore moves to the top and steps out onto the platform.

Taking three large strides, he leaps high and out into an immediate tuck. Completing a pair of somersaults, Barratore flattens out to strike at an angle, feet first, pulling up one leg and sitting slightly so as to throw a massive volume of water at the dock (Barratore tries a double flip into a jack knife)

ooc; don't mind low magic as long as the modules are written knowing we have the resources of a 4th level group. ie we don't have 2-3 curing wands during or after battle, and other such things that an extra 80,000 gp party wide would provide our group

Gerox face lights up when he figures out what the stone does. He looks up expecting to see Barratore and the others only to find himself alone as they have wandered off to play games. He glances around nervously realizing that the stone represents a small fortune. He carefully tucks it away putting it into an inner pocket of his shirt where pickpockets will have less of a chance and stands up looking for the others. He notices Harvest buy the potions and wanders over to watch.

Once he understands the gist of the questions, he grins and yells to her. "No worries Harvest, you won't be blue skinned for long. Probably only a couple of months!"

ooc: Gerox is going to head off to the Catacombs. Do we want him to sell the stone? Do we want to keep it? Pretty cool item and it was a gift from Mother. Seems a bit cold just to sell it but I am willing to go along with the group decision.

Brom laughs at the sight of a minotaur doing somersaults. "I leave the acrobatics to the professionals"

Brom continues to enjoy the fun at the docks. He eats and drinks and enjoys the entertainment.

OOC: Welcome aboard James!

The stone of good luck is 20k gp. So I think it's hard to have someone pay 10k for it, especially since no one has that much. But I agree that it seems callous to sell the sacred treasure of the catfolk. I would suggest we give it back to them and suggest that their first warrior wear it as a badge of station.

As the group splits up to try their hand at the various games Hert vanishes in the crowd, pulling up the hood on his full gray cloak. As he leaves a couple of silver coins with each of those he helps.

Back at the dock Harvest Moon blows the crest of her hair from her face with a puff of breath while contemplating the questions. She was familiar with a variety of spells, but it had been a while since she was put in a position of having to answer such questions.
What Spell requires a drop of wasp venom to cast? Hornet's Nest
Name a spell hat has a material component of a drop of water or a pinch of ash... Rose's Temperature Control
What spell has the side effect of making the user sickened while carrying or using a cold iron? The last question has her stumped until she hears Gerox taunting her. No worries Harvest, you won't be blue skinned for long. Probably only a couple of months!" . Although unsure if it was his intent, the comment helps her to figure out the answer to the last riddle. ... Elf Vision
The crowd watches in anticipation as Harvest mixes the vials together and thin wisps of blue smoke begin to rise. Congratulations. You answered all of the questions correctly, and it looks like you have created a potion of Magic Fang. The crowd applauds loudly, although Harvest swears she hears a small child saying Don't worry, maybe the next one will blow up.

Across the street Barratore grins at Brom as both he and the powerful human send the clear chime through the area. Well done! Calls out the jester as he pulls two silver vials out of his bag. You two deserve these, put them to good use. He hands each of you a potion of Magic Fang.

The minotaurs eye then drifts up the tall mast and he sees Edson take his place. Standing on the mast he takes a couple deep breaths to regulate his body. On the last breath, he holds it before pressing off with his legs propelling himself backwards. As his body moves he tucks his head down and under, so even though he is moving away, he is still front flipping. Three complete rotations before he hits the water The minotaur grins again. "Time to soak some spectators." He chuckles at Brom. Barratore collects his prize from the strength contest and walks over to the diving contest. Completing a pair of somersaults, Barratore flattens out to strike at an angle, feet first, pulling up one leg and sitting slightly so as to throw a massive volume of water at the dock. A giant wave drenches those on the edge of the dock. The jester coughs and sputters as he hands Edson a of Jump potion, I think only one prize per person. Yes, no additional potion for you Mr. Minotaur. The jester rings out his hat and calls other, smaller, contestants up to the platform.

The group comes back together. Gerox face is lit up as he explains to the others what the stone does and how much it is worth. He carefully tucks it away putting it into an inner pocket of his shirt where pickpockets will have less of a chance. Everyone then discusses the increase in the number of guards and questions what the celebration at the docks is for...

Harvest Moon turns quickly to face the voice of whoever was wishing for an explosion and spots a small girl excitedly explaining to her friend how a previous contestant's potion fizzed and popped and then turned the persons face BLUE! It is apparent that she is not wishing injury on anyone, but rather that the competition is designed to entertain the crowd if someone answers incorrectly.

Barratore laughs as he drips dry and looks about to see who he soaked. Although the strength competition was too far away to get hit he notices the people lined up along the pier. Several drenched citizen look at him, including several upset parents and their children who are exploding with excitement as if getting soaked was their sole purpose for standing at the edge of the docks. As he rejoins the group and hands Edson his sword to hold as he puts his armor back on Peza teases him, asking if someone threw him off the dock while uses his best mock squire voice saying, "Master knight should I polish the metal as well. The League Adventurers accept their prizes and regroup to discuss what they have learned and decide what they should do next. "I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about. They are probably just maintaining order here. And if you ask me, the more guards there are the better. Hert says. As for the festival..." He leaves shortly to ask around and then returns to the group. It appears the festival is going to be weeklong festival to celebrate the completion of Rum, and those organizing it want to make sure everything goes perfectly and as planned. Anvil and Prusis have left to the main land to give reports on the cities progress and to personally invite some of the most influential people in the Wold to the festivities. The only odd thing he hears is that one person had mention Scully's Heroes were around earlier and asking about the increased number of guards, particularly if anyone had noticed whether or not there was an increased patrol by southernmost warehouse.

In fact, this could be a set up from Scully trying to sully our reputations. He knows we are to dangerous to take down in a fair fight but if he can somehow turn the town against us, he doesn't really need to. These badges can be a liability as well as an honor. "Why is it that we must always go together?" she asks. "That is foolish. You do not always follow me when I weed my garden, although I would welcome your help."

"What is it that you expect to find at the Southmost Warehouse? Do you fear fighting? In Rum? With all of the city guard about?" Her hands, she finds, have made their way to her hips in the manner of disapproval or confrontation. Harvest Moon draws in a deep breath, and when she releases it, also lowers her arms. "I only go to see this warehouse with my own eyes. If possible, I will speak to those who own or guard it. No more than that. If I thought this task beyond my abilities, please be assured that I would have asked you or the others to accompany me."

"If you too have an interest in this Southmost Warehouse, then I welcome your company. We might speak of things of mutual interest to pass the time. But I see no sense in going to all places together because we have affiliation with the Woldian League of Adventurers."

With those words, Harvest Moon continues on her way. Her pace, however, is now slower to accommodate that of Edson Kazil.

He says as he places the luck stone in his pocket. "We need to use some caution with the warehouse thing. Yes we need to watch Scully but we aren't part of the guard. Our function is to protect Rum from more then petty thieves. In fact, this could be a set up from Scully trying to sully our reputations. He knows we are to dangerous to take down in a fair fight but if he can somehow turn the town against us, he doesn't really need to. These badges can be a liability as well as an honor. If we don't live up to them, we hurt all of the WLA. Imagine if he robs the warehouse, kills someone and then has the guards find us lurking around? All I am saying is we need to use caution."

"Harvest" Edson calls out as he realizes the group is quickly separating, " hold up. We're a group, not single adventurers. We should all go together."

Barratore sits a bit further back into his chair and pulls his drink, a pale blonde ale, a bit closer so he could reach it without stirring more than his arm. She'll be fine in the city he thinks to himself, and as such he could simply wait to see what Harvest might turn up. "ahhhhh." Barratore lets a purposeful sigh exhaust itself and tilts his head back slightly and closes his eyes

Harvest Moon's response is a bit different and she offers a queer look to Edson Kazil, as though he has, perhaps, presented her with a pair of men's underclothes or some other such object the use of which she would be unable to fathom at this time. "Why is it that we must always go together?" she asks. "That is foolish. You do not always follow me when I weed my garden, although I would welcome your help."

"What is it that you expect to find at the Southmost Warehouse? Do you fear fighting? In Rum? With all of the city guard about?"
Her hands, she finds, have made their way to her hips in the manner of disapproval or confrontation.

"Maybe ya don't like my seasoning." He says spitting a mouth full of chew juice onto the ground. "Puts hair on yur chest and makes ya a man."

"Ah, let her go. Sculley's worried cause he's got stuff there or he's gonna do something. None of our concern either way. League doesn't know or care and doesn't pay nothin'."
He says enjoying some drink.

And so the group goes their separate ways....

They are not very good guards. Or, so thinks Harvest Moon. But it is, for her, a lesson in the basic motivations of people. Instead, however, of speaking her mind, Harvest Moon explains that they had heard of the men of Skulley Swiftblayde asking many questions about the southernmost warehouse. From concern, she and Peza had come down to see that nothing untoward was going on.

"I will remain here." Harvest Moon settles herself on the ground. "I will remain here and watch the warehouse." Looking up at the guards, she explains, "You may watch me if you wish. I add my eyes to yours and we will watch the warehouse together. More eyes are better, no?"

There are many things that need to be done. Gardens to weed. Sea grasses to gather and pound into cloth. But there is a duty that comes with the League Adventurers group, and it is not one that Harvest Moon intends to shirk.

They are not very good guards, Harvest Moon thinks to herself, but for her it is a lesson in deterrence and the basic motivations of people. Instead She quickly explains to them that they had heard of the men of Skulley Swiftblayde asking many questions about the southernmost warehouse, and that from concern she and Peza had come down to see that nothing untoward was going on. "I will remain here." Harvest Moon settles herself on the ground. "I will remain here and watch the warehouse." Peza raises an eyebrow at Harvest's tactic of sitting and waiting .. "Come now Harvest, let's not bother these fine guards. We can walk about ourselves, observing and investigating....Thank you for being patient with us." Peza replies to the guards as they leave to continue on their patrol.

A while passes and Hert decides to get back to the tavern when a small child runs up to him and informs him that he has an outstanding order in the Catacombs which needs completing (please type SOLD in a post on the Catacombs page). During the conversation he learns that a delivery was made to a warehouse that the child was paid extra to deliver before his other messages.

As Brom stands up to head out and says good bye to Barritore, Edson stops them and relays information he overheard some people passing by talking aobout. Look lively Barratore. Spotting a couple of beggars he then suggests, "Harvest and I can pay a beggar for their robes. And we can walk these docks and not be suspicious. Unfortunately she immediately rejects his suggestion, fear once again gripping her again as it did when Peza suggested that she act casually, although it is unclear to Edson if this is due to a lack of skill or an unwillingness to put on such garb. "I ... I cannot do that, Edson Kazil. Comes the girls response. I will hide nearby instead. And I will watch from there."

The league adventurers turn to leave, all heading their separate ways with a plan of meeting back up a reasonable distance from the warehouse. Brom quickly make his way with the first group to find the Theringer. It takes longer than normal to make your way down the streets with all the congestion and festivities. On every corner there is a fixer proclaiming the greatness that is Rum, telling the story of how the people conquered the wilderness, pointing out the fine details that went into the city's planning and detailing their vision of greatness for the future. After some time you find yourselves outside the WLA and learn that like Anvil and Prusis, Theringer is out delivering invitations to the festivities (although his tasks are notably less prestigious and closer to home). As you ask around you learn that almost all officials in the city are preoccupied for the festivities. Normal government and WLA functions have been suspended in order to dedicate time to inviting important people, giving speeches, and overseeing various events.

You soon discover that you are on your own for the time being, and the full weight of the chain sash comes to bear on your shoulders as some low level administrative officials with no actual authority tell you to look into the matter without giving you any actual instructions or authority to investigate the matter other than telling you to take no more actions "than are necessary".

Meanwhile Edson walks up to one of the dirtier beggars and asks to purchase his rags. At first the man is quite hostile, scolding the rogue elf for his rudeness and taunting those less fortunate than himself. It isn't until the beggar sees coin that he believes the request and Edson finds himself able to purchase the most authentic of beggar's rags at the inflated cost of one silver coin (allowing the beggar to purchase something else to wear). From his new vantage point and Peza's covered location behind a stack of crates they are able to maintain a steady watch over the next two hours until Barratore returns.

The first thing those staking out the warehouse spot is Scully's Heroes returning to the warehouse, following a delivery of crates up from the docks. You can hear them asking the delivery boy several questions ad trying to slip him a few gold coins, but he refuses and swears he doesn't know what is inside. After another half hour six guards exit the warehouse, splitting off into groups of two and heading in different directions.

The Captain of the ship was not around, but you recognize the name as being one of the regular captains making his living on the shipping lanes delivering goods from port to port...nothing fancy or exotic, he makes his living on the more reliable trade goods that are always in need. First, she asks whether there are any more crates left to be delivered to the warehouse of the merchant Maaqrana. Second, she asks whether she might see the contents of one of them. Third, she asks who it was that came to call for the last load of crates.

She follows up on the orders of Edson Kazil despite feeling it not worth the while. She would rather have pursued the guards with the symbols on their swords.

When things take a serious turn, Hert promptly excuses himself to wear his full armor and equipment set. At this rate there's no telling when the fight may happen, so he's got to be prepared. Thankfully, his full cloak conceals it completely, to the point when it isn't visible, so it should draw no special attention to him, except that all the clanking makes it impossible for him to move silently now.

He follows Harvest Moon and overhears her speaking to the boy.

"This is strange. Why didn't he order all that in the local shops then?" - he wonders. Apparently Harvest Moon got the same idea and is asking the exact same questions he would've asked.

Edson just shakes his head as Harvest boards the ship. He had barely gotten the words out of his mouth, explaining what he had overheard, when the elven girl takes off. He realizes right there that it wouldn't be a giant or a dragon, but a fifteen year old girl that will be the death of him. Still shaking his head he continues, "Scully's crew is contemplating boarding the ship and checking the crates for something, but Harvest seems determined to beat them too it."

In the distance you all can see Harvest Moon taking the direct approach. As she boards the ship the wind carries her call, "Hallo!".The half-elfish girl soon finds herself being greeted by the captain, a tall red haired man with a weathered face browned and chapped by the harsh sea wind. She quickly explains that she is on business for the Woldian League of Adventurers and has only a few questions, whether there are any more crates left to be delivered to the warehouse, if might see the contents of one of them, and who it was that came to call for the last load of crates.

The captain stares at the girl for several minutes as he pulls on his beard, the puzzlement in his eyes clearly evident. Does the WLA typically board people's ships here and ask them questions about their deliveries? Without waiting for an answer he shrugs as one who is unsure what to do and has given up on the matter. I am not used to people coming uninvited onto my ship, nor have I ever heard of the WLA or any other organization sending someone so young to ask questions...but I suppose it is not worth risking angering the Fixers over and losing my shipping permit if you are telling the truth....The truth is, that I don't know. My ward delivered the crates, and I am not in the habit of going through other people's things. He motions for the boy you saw delivering the crates to come forward. Garret will answer any questions you have for him. All I can really tell you is that the manifest said the crates contained a variety of mundane items like you would find in any general store anywhere in the Wold.

The delivery boy gives much the same story. I delivered six crates about three feet long by two feet wide and two feet high. No much to tell really. A few guys were asking me about the boxes, same as you, and I told them I didn't know anything. I brought the crates inside and six men took them off the wheelbarrow. They were bigger, rough looking guys. Nothing special about them. Probably stock boys and security. They gave me a tip and I left.

As everyone waits for Harvest, Barratore folds his thick arms across his chest and snorts as he thinks Watching Scully, watch a warehouse because he was asking about it. One of Skully's men sneers as he shouts back, We'll see this evening maimed or killed ankle biter. The tallest man in the group, presumably the leader, shoots him a murderous look brings about instant silence from the others. The conversation is clearly over and the group hurries wordlessly out of sight.

"Bah! Gruffs Brom. What work ya sorry excuse for a pile of dung. You got nothing. Just stay out of our way." Brom turns and starts to leave with the others when he notices something, there are windows and a back door on many of the buildings in this area, and as the city was "perfectly planned" it would stand to reason that the Maaqrana's warehouse did as well.

"Well it was worth a try Gerox, Peza says as the group walks away. I would be more then happy to let Scully and his group get credit for their actions in helping figure out what by Waard is going on ... after all its more important to thwart the tri bar conspiracy then get credit .....and like Hert has said ... Around the corner Edson drops the homeless persons robes off in an alleyway, cleans up to the best of his abilities, although some dirt still remains on his face, and meets back up with the others just as Peza finishes her talking and adds, "I think we should warn Theringer about the guards with the three bars." Everyone agrees, unfortunately no one knew where Theringer left to, just that he was inviting important guests and that he didn't travel as far away as Anvil and Prusis.

After a short walk Hert, cleric of Gargul spots the others and relays what the learned. "It looks like we're almost out of options. "Good idea Peza." says Edson, who had previously suggested such action and was glad others were trying to follow it, even if someone else was going to get credit of it.

As you ask around you learn that no one knows where Theringer is, just that he was inviting important guests and that he didn't travel as far away as Anvil and Prusis. Although there are messengers that can deliver a letter a letter to him explaining what you have found, any actions you plan on taking, and why you are taking them, there is no guarantee it will reach him in a timely fashion.

The others see wisdom in his words and Barratore stays put, clearly unhappy about being asked to do so and even more so that Harvest has put herself where she has. Next to him Brom continues to watch the scene unfold at the warehouse doors, keeping a close eye on the golems and hoping to react quickly should the magical guardians move to act. "What is it about those following the way of the monk that forces them to do things like this?" Barritore grumbles to Brom.

Edson too sees the wisdom in Hert's words yet wishes he had the beggar clothes on again as he continues to watch and wait. Meanwhile Gerox hides in the shadows as he casts invisibility on himself and move forward to back Harvest up in case something unpleasant should happen. As the boy speaks to Harvest his eyes move seem to scan the surrounding street as through suspicious of something. The gnome sorcerer begins wondering if the kid overheard him casting his spell, but his fears disappear as the child's focus returns to the girl in front of him as she continues to speak.

"We believe the contents of the crates may have been mistaken," replies Harvest Moon. "May we come in?" she asks and shows her WLA regalia.

The boy looks at her and then at her insignia, clearly conflicted on what to do. Are you like the law? Do I have to let you in? My dad left me in charge and told me to watch the warehouse till he got back........what was wrong with the crates? I thin they took everything from them... ... ... ....I suppose you can come in as long as you don't take anything...and be quick...

Hert and Gerox Highlight to display spoiler: {You get the distinct impression that the child is not sure what to do and doesn't want to get in trouble with you or his dad. Judging by the way he is looking around he wants to make sure you do whatever you do before his dad gets back.}

ooc: Gerox, no need to worry, just my way of making sure you remember that others can hear you casting that spell or for me to learn that you can cast spells silently before the issue can arise in combat.

Instead, the small half elven girl gestures to her companions to follow, to no effect, and enters the warehouse upon the boy's invitation with Gerox slipping in unseen behind her. Harvest can tell by the quiver in the boy's voice that he is both intimidated and afraid of her. Nodding he points to some crates in the corner of the room. They are all empty. I am supposed to break them down so we can use the wood to make some shelving. As Harvest and Gerox look at the crates they find them to all be empty, except for one labeled "tents" that has a single button clearly identifiable as being from a guards uniform in the bottom of the crate. Additionally Harvest's keen eyes notice the wood inside has a faint tint to it. Not the drab gray or green of most tents, but a much deeper hue like that used in clothing.

Outside the group watches the coming and going of various citizens, none of which seem interested in the League Adventurer's or the warehouse.

There had not been any mention of the possibility of rebellion by Theringer when all of them were sitting discussing the other incidents in Rum with the faction carrying the three bars. Why does 6 uniforms suddenly make a rebellion. The more he puzzled the less convinced he became things were so very dire.
