Crescent Valley is a soon target of attack from the Red Hills. All sorts of people: Humans, goblins, ogres, orcs, halfling lawbreakers and who knows who else -- headed up by an ogre mage -- are fixing to attack and take over our beautiful valley. It has already started, somewhat quietly, on the edges.

1. A thick and luxuriant fur hat. As a standard action that provokes an attack of opportunity, you can pull the hat tightly down on your head and rub your hands together. You gain resist energy 10 against cold for 10 minutes. This effect is identical to the resist energy spell (CL1st). After one use, the hat becomes mundane. If not used by March 23, 2015, it also becomes mundane - yet still a good hat.Once hoisted back up, he says to Edric, "Since you two 'found' this pit - here, Posco - this hat is for you. You'll look great in it."
2. A single, solitary gold coin... of frost giant mint. Roughly the size of a dinner plate, this coin was minted by a kingdom of frost giants living in the Ice Vein mountains of the Southern Continent. Edric? Lastly, we are at the Parlay House, where ogre-mage Idafeatu is headquartered, trying to spy / confound / confute / vanquish / or whatever we can get away with vs the Bad Guys. I suggest you do some reading over the next few days as you are able to catch up in more detail regarding what we are up to. Explore, retrieve, documentFreestyle Weekend?As this is a time of departure, and we are out of combat, may I propose free-style posting (post multiple conversations, actions, etc.) for now through midnight Sunday? Say what your character is doing, interact with each other to your heart's content, get things out of your system ("Say, Murphy, why do you have to talk so long before we just kill the monster??"), have a group hug, etc.
* We explore the remaining standing buildings, search them carefully (Murphy would be especially interested in discovering if there might be any secret doors with passages into / out of the other buildings, similar to the one we found from the lookout post down to the remnants of the building below).
* We find and share out any treasures found (coins, gems, jewelry, artwork, books, magic, etc., etc., etc.)
* Gather any documents found
* See what other supplies (food stores, equipment, transport, etc.) are to be found at the place
* Murphy will take the time to at least quickly measure (42 paces by 68 paces by 18 feet tall - that sort of thing) the exteriors and interiors and sketch out the main building, and any other semi-useful buildings
* He wants to find where the water is kept here, and how it is delivered (drawn from cistern? plumbing?)
Travel itinerary
* If there is enough light left in the day, we head out, back the way we came. Maybe we'll camp overnight at the ogre's picnic spot. Perhaps a whirlwind will pick us all up and deposit us in Kansas.
Personnel changes
* As Jon-Paul Ward told me he will not be able to start posting again until later in July, Jerry Phelps has asked me to have Podo leave the group for now.
* As all of you know, Vaughn no longer plans to play Alouryn - and Jerry also wants her out of the game by Monday (he said by today, but Monday is the absolute deadline - I think a bit of weekend role-play with Alouryn and Hazel (and whoever else wants to join in) might be appropriate). DM Kent - any deus ex machina thing you want to work out to facilitate Alouryn's exit? Might Flower or one of her servants show up to tell her she is needed elsewhere?
* With us down to four players - feel free to recruit for Humble's Sword
* Any other things any party members wish to accomplish?
[And, Mister DM Kent - what time of day is it? Where is the sun in the sky? By my reckoning, I'd guess about 2 or 3pm, but please correct me if my sense of time is off.]
