Barratore vision clears and and webs fall off. The fighter immediately thinks of Imod, and a small prayer of thanks falls from his lips. "They look like huge spiders, both here and standing elsewhere, like I was before!" He yells out to the others. "Cleric! What are they!"
He then yells to Brom "in front you and to the left! STRIKE!"
Barratore also attacks the creature trying to rally himself with a battle cry, "For Imod and the Starlight clan!"
Hit AC 25/20. DMG 18/21 Barratore has 4 negative levels. -4 attacks,CMB,saves,abilities. -20 HP
DM John: The negative levels were only in effect while entangled by the webbing.
Brom here's Barratore's call and instinctively strikes out as his friend's instructs.

Edson tries to take some cover. Peza shoots the huge spider thingy in front of her. Barratore attacks, one hit lands the second does not. Brom still entangled attacks, but does not hit critically. Tuesday casts a group healing again.
The northern spider thing simply vanishes from even Barratore's improved vision. The southern looks at Barratore and sees the webbing is gone and tries it's hand at webbing Barratore, and witnesses the same effect as the northern one did last round, the webbing simply dissolves into nothing as it hits Barratore.

Peza steps forward and shoots twice, both hitting, but neither one critically. Edson double shoots his bow, but misses twice. Barratore attacks hitting once. Gerox launches a fireball.

The Norther Spider was unwounded, before it vanished. The Southern Spider is visibly bleeding, but has yet to be seriously effected by it's wounds. The Spider seemed to avoid most of the fireball, but it did take some of the damage.
The Northern spider is still missing, but the shack is starting to become covered with webbing, it looks like the same as what's binding Brom and what was binding Barratore.. The southern spider spits at Peza, Peza please make a fort save DC 12 or take 3 DEX and 2 Con damage (2 saves in a row or take the damage)
The darkness feels like it's closing in upon the whole party, closing in, yet it's still the same amount only compressed in closer. Maybe it's the effects of the webbing spreading over the shack, maybe it's something else all together.....

The creature was tough, but more concerning to the fighter was that it was not retaliating against him and Brom. Like it had everything under control and the mighty swings of the duo were not of concern Long battles and fights never bothered him, but being all but ignored was a new thing. Inwardly he asks his new shadow, "Is that you Dread? Do you know what we face?" Distraction gets you killed, the voice of Metascar roars in the back of his mind and Barratore pushes the idle foolishness away

Peza resists the first part of the spit and responds with a pair of arrows that both hit. Barratore becomes worried about the spider ignoring his attacks, so worried that he misses. (Spider AC 26 figured out) Tuesday cast a spell and heals Edson a fair amount. Brom strikes the spider and hits it fairly hard. Edson shoots twice but misses both.
-------------------------------------------------------- More webbing builds up on the shack, and the darkness continues to press in on the party, from off in the distance those outside or in the doorway hear, "BART!! Has anyone seem Bart?" Is shouted from a ways down the walkway to the north.
Barratore and Brom perception 18 Highlight to display spoiler: { The webbing entangling Brom seems to shy away from Barratore and his blade when he's nearby Brom. It continues to keep Brom entangled though.}
The Norther spider is vanished, but the shack is still getting covered in webbing, in another 2 rounds those inside will become trapped inside, unless they can remove the webbing. The southern spider turns and bites at Barratore, but misses, but only by an inch or so. The viscous jaws snap shut so close to him, he can feel the cold of it's shadow and also smell something vile linger in the air as it's head pulls away after the miss.
FYI, I'll be posting 2 pm or so on Monday, then usually an hour later each day, giving you players 24-25 hours to post. Fair?

Edson fires at the visible spider and misses. Barratore strikes at the same spider while trying to protect himself, but also misses. Gerox casts another spell, and the spider appears to Barratore, but is still hidden by the darkness to everyone else. Peza plants two more bolts into the spider. Brom tries hacking at the webbing and cuts through some of it, still entangled, reduce level drain to 2. Tuesday casts Magic Circle Vs Evil centering it's effect on Barratore.

Barratore strikes the spider while fighting on the defensive. Edson fires twice, hitting once. Gerox fires a stream of magic missiles at the spider. Tuesday gets out of the collapsing shack. Brom cuts the remaining webs off himself, freeing himself of the entangle and the negative levels. *Peza shoots hitting once, missing the second. (DM action)
Northern spider continues to web the shack, bringing it to a pile of sticky webbing, trapping Edson inside. (Acrobatics or escape artist skill roll 28 to avoid getting trapped) Southern spider strikes at Barratore, again barely missing him, this time even closer than the previous strike. The Southern spiders status extremely wounded, but not breaking off it's attacks.

Barratore attacks and hits the spider creature. Edson fires and misses the spider (sorry I missed roll) Gerox directs his magic missile to the north, because the south looks almost dead, counting on his friends to finish it off. Peza puts another pair bolts into the spider, it is barely standing at the end of those bolts. Brom finally free of the webbing, strikes the spider, splitting the head through the middle of it's eyes. Tuesday watches as the spider to the south collapses, dead.

The North spider, sees Barratore step up and attack it's brother, and strikes out, hitting him. Damage 33 from the bite, 22 additional from the frost effect of the bite. He is also poisoned by the viscous freezing goo that is sticking to Barratore's skin, that also is dripping from the spiders maw. Taking 3 charisma damage and 4 more cold damage. The Fort DC is 23. (you take the damage but are trying for a cure)

The spiders bite is even more deadly than the fighter imagined. The wrenching pain and soul crushing cold were nearly unbearable. Barratore says a small prayer of thanks to Imod that the thing hadn't attacked any of the others, for none would have likely survived the ordeal.
Barratore knows he needs to be far more cautious and shifts back to a more defensive stance. he advances and strikes back at the monstrosity (5' Move to F/G - 9/10) Fighting Defensively Precise Strike Hit AC 23 miss

The northern spider casts a spell (DC 21 spellcraft Highlight to display spoiler: { Greater Dispel Magic}) and then vanishes as the Glitterdust spell abruptly ends. Only Barratore can see the spider, due to the oppressing darkness that still exists blanketing the entire area.
The voices calling for Bart are maybe 100 feet away and closing in on the area of darkness and the fight.
- If he can see the spider at that point, Brom will move into attack, E10 (using Acrobatics DC16, hero point DC17). He attacks (using hero point for an extra action)

(Barratore I need another DC 23 Fort save for the poison, if you fail roll a second save as well but take 2 more Charisma and 8 cold damage.
Brom is unable to see the spider, even Dark Vision can not see through this supernaturally dark zone. He strikes at the spider, but misses because of the darkness. (40% chance to miss due to the darkness, I rolled it, got a 7) Barratore misses after he steps closer. Peza yells out a warning to the civilians. Edson misses the target.

The remaining spider attacks Brom, new the new threat, it hits.
Brom gets hit for 22 damage and 10 cold damage from the bite, 4 Chr and 4 damage from the Poison. (will need 2 consecutive DC 23 Fort saves to stop the poison)

The Poison is still at work in Barratore. (Fort 17).
His mind and soul call out to him. Lie Down. this is too hard. Rest. The temptation to listen and give in is almost more than his fighting spirit can ignore. The Minotaur fighter keeps his defensive attack against the spider, but now fueled by Gerox's magic, he slashes three consecutive times at it.

Brom takes the bit and the feels to cold from the creatures bite, he also can feel the creatures venom begin to slow his mind. He can feel his thoughts begin to fade inward. Soon, he will be lost in his own mind.

Tuesday is unsure how to help the situation. He seems only to be able to continue to heal the fighters, but now there seems to be more happening then he was prepared for. In any case, Brom seems to be in the worst shape of the bunch so he moves to assist the barbarian.
Using a summoning spell the cleric cast CCW (casting defensively DC 33) on the barbarian, moving to F11 to heal him.

Barratore begins to feel the battle effects, he swings away at the spider creature but misses. Peza takes shots at the spider, hitting it multiple times. Brom strikes the spider. Tuesday heals Brom. Edson shouts out that he needs help targeting the spider. Gerox casts another Glitterdust, marking the area of the spider. (DM action)

Barratore presses the attack through the soul robbing cold infecting his mind. He hardly registers the weapon in his hand any longer, but the blade slices into the spider once

The poison is once tick an hour, not every round, so you get the initial dose immediately during the combat.

Barratore hits the spider once with his quickened attacks. Gerox tries to escape by becoming even tinier. (make a Escape DC 15) The webbing constricts as he becomes smaller. Peza sticks the spider twice. Edson hits once. Tuesdays mystical weapon, misses. Brom attacks with quickened attacks, hitting twice.

The spider shudders and drops dead, the unnatural darkness vanishes with it's demise. The corpses of both spiders begin to fade, first changing from black to a dark gray, then to a light gray. On closer look they aren't changing color, just fading from reality, in less than a minute, they simply fade to nothingness and are gone. Only the web covered wreckage of the shack and the webs holding Gerox are still in existence. The body of the citizen is in two parts and in the distance you can still hear people calling for the city guard. You expect them to arrive in just a couple minutes.
Some of you are still poisoned, requiring a save once per hour.
Brom, I believe that you took 2 charisma damage from the bite. Barratore I think you took 3.

Barratore looks about to see if he can see any others. It was apparent that the others were having a harder time with the darkness than he was. After a quick scan he moves to cut Gerox free from the webs still looking to the cleric and Gerox to supply information on what those things were.
Barratore confesses to the others that he could see in the magical darkness, though he does not have a reason as to why.

The last spider is dead and the darkness has lifted, but Brom's mind is still cloudy. He lowers his sword and the fatigue comes over him. He stands there, his mind close to collapse.

The battle seems to have ended. What now? Tuesday looks over the others to determine wounds. He knows Brom and Barratore took bite wounds from the spider. Tuesday casts a Lesser Restoration spell on Barratore removing 3 points of ability damage and the fatigue.
