Atlas setting in line at the catacombs, Atlas is struck by the though that the aught to add some rooms for guests.

Osul, hovers happily with his compatriots, things seem to be going swimmingly.

Mack as you look longingly up the towering heights and thousands of steps your question is answered by Counselor Coni
Yes, I've see them in a quite bright reddish pink as well as deep blues, I have even seen a few like this one, but they are quite rare. notice how the fuchsia petals darken too a deep red purple near the center. That's a hard color morph to achieve, it's usually one or the other.

Carver. Armand and Owen all figure correctly that the periwinkle is a symbol of Unity and Friendship, and a feeling of bonhomie and belonging fill them...Magic?...or just the congruity of the situation? who knows?

Leskni when you cast the spell the connection is much stronger than what you expected. The Tree, your friends and everything else fades from your reality as you are overwhelmed by the experience unfolding before you. To say that the tree is conscious is...not quite right...but neither is it incorrect either. The Tree of Parting IS. Your mind is filled with the feeling of what deep roots tasting a aquifer feel like, the sinuous movement of the wind over your branches. the seasons changing in the blink of an...not eye..nor ear...nor any other sense an animal could name, but it is all of those and none. It could be that it merely exists on a scale of time of which you are but a blip...it could be that time has no meaning. You sense to presence of something and a feeling very much like what a smile would feel like if it were taste/feeling overwhelms you and you find yourself standing in the place where you were, Counselor Coni is still finishing her sentences extolling the colorful virtues of the Periwinkle , not 5 seconds have past....but it seems to you lifetimes have flown by.

Having listened to the officials and then the approval of Deeproot himself Carver figures the hard part is settled."If there is nothing important to settle right now, I think I'll get some dinner."
Assuming it is such, he heads over and orders a centaur sized meal.

Armand continues to write notes on odd pieces of paper. He sits under the tree and finds a bare patch of dirt. With a stick he traces designs in the dirt. He stares for a while, then shakes his head and starts over. He keeps muttering to himself. "First floor has to be taller than normal to accommodate Carver and Leskni, double doors here I think, wait no here. Hmm, only partial 2nd story? Wait now move that here. Oh frell, we need someplace to cook. Have to extend that wall. A waiting room, some sort of office, how big should that be? Okay what about this, no that won't work..."

Owen walks over to Armand and sketches out a box in the dirt about as big as the floor plan he has going already. This part will be the library!

Atlas makes his way back from the Catacombs, still feeling a bit prickly from the vampire's words. He is happy for the distraction of detailing out their residence when he gets back. "Don't forget the kitchen! And did anyone hear me mention those extra rooms for guests? I anticipate we'll get people coming from a distance looking for help with little ability to pay. Or WLA members looking for a place to stay as they pass through. Owen, I agree, great spot for the library!"

'Osul stares up at The Polyfloral Tree in awe.

Eventually he-eagle takes to the sky - needing to see this more closely to better understand.

I start heading up The Tree. My first curiosity is how far up I go before there is nobody residing.

Leskni is quite surprised by that "encounter" with the tree. She goes off to ponder it awhile, discussing things with Pella.

At some point, she'll address her companions (away from other ears)

"I just had the most fascinating experience that I thought I should tell you about. I used magic to try and talk to the Tree (the Tree itself, not the inhabitants).

It was one of the most impressive experiences that I have ever had. It is alive, wise, old. Maybe. Definitely far, far greater than we are. I got the impression that it knows of us (all the people living here) and looks kindly on us. But in the way that we'd be amused at a hummingbird in the garden.

I'm sure that it won't object to us building something nearby but, under no circumstances at all, should we do anything that might upset it. No building in its branches. no taking its water supply, no befouling the area. We need to make sure that whatever we build fits in. No digging massive dungeons under the house :-)"

Armand looks up at Owen. "I think a 60 by 15 room is plenty big enough for a library." But he says it with a grin.

"Okay, so far I've fit in...a library, 2 guest rooms, an alchemist lab room, a kitchen, dining room, conference/meeting room, rooms for each of us, a bathing room, a dining nook, a vault, a couple of storage rooms, but they are needed, you'll understand. Hmm. there's room for 2 more rooms. Ideas?

OOC I'm going to assume there is no running water, so no plumbing. Each bedroom would have to have a chamber pot and/or wash basin. The washroom is a bath, does it need to be built to accomidate our large friends?
