Alleah tries to demoralize Uthvas and succeeds. Then she heroically casts Blindness on him. Unfortunately, he blinks out just before her spell goes off (50% miss chance).
Kezzem attacks the construct, killing it. It stops moving in Pressi’s embrace. He decides to throw his remaining daggers at Uthvas, but there are two large creatures between him and his target. It’s also beyond normal dagger range. And Uthvas is blinking - still one hits him for 4 damage.
Cameron sees the construct near him stop moving, and speeds toward Uthvas. Though he moves deftly, the second construct strikes at him but cannot hit him. He now finds himself behind Uthvas. (no attack - too far - 40’. See Acrobatics and Haste.)
Bliss continues to shoot at Uthvas, hitting him twice. He then moves back 5’ (I’m imposing a -2 circumstance minus due to moving further back under a table while trying to hit Uthvas.)
Shel shoots a Magic Missle at Uthvas, and even though he blinks out as she casts it, as a force effect it still affects him!
Pressi drops the dead construct and then removes her Hat of Disguise and equips a different magic item (standard action). Then she moves. Her initial move avoids an attacks from carrion creature, and the large one has already made such an attack.
Uthvas grimaces. “You speak of light and dark and vengeance. Your small stature suites your limited view. My research could extend life! It could offer immortality! But I wouldn’t expect children to understand.” Then he withdraws toward the wall, and vanishes into the wall near the door!
Once he does so, the large creature attempts to hit Cameron and Pressi, connecting with Pressi for 11 damage. Then the Carrion creature moves 5’ and strikes twice at Shel, hitting her twice for 14 damage. (Shel - make a Fort Save DC 16.)

Cameron has listened enough to Pressi to have an idea what that tear she just put in her hair is. Looking at the damage she has already taken, that could end badly for her. And he is to close to that hulking critter to cast without getting whacked. This, was likely going to hurt. Swallowing hard Cameron called on Jancassis to convert the Searing light he had prayed for into a cure serious wounds spell. He then tumbled towards Pressi and touched her as he went by Cure Serious Wounds will heal 26 points of damage if Cameron manages to cast it and touch Pressi. He probably can't make the concentration roll to do that without losing the spell, so he doesn't cast defensively. His concentration roll in case he takes damage is 9, yeah lets hope that doesn't happen. Alleah shouts for Kezzem to come over to her. Kezzem has other plans and moves over to the large creature and attacks the stinking mound of flesh threatening Shel, doing 11 damage.

Cameron tumbles to get near Pressi. He attempts to heal her. The large creature reacts, but fails to connect with his attack. Pressi is healed for 26 points of damage! Pressi, feeling a warmth again and emboldened by Cameron healing her, unleashes a series of attacks. Even the tough skin of the construct is not enough to protect him against such an onslaught. She does 42 damage. (Pressi can take back the stunning blow - you posted the request during your turn, and it had no effect on your attack.)
Shel moves back near Mookie, next to the stuffed elf holding two daggers.
The carrion creature turns its attention to Kezzem but fails to hit him.
The large creature strikes at both Kezzem and Pressi. It hits Kezzem for 16 damage and Pressi for 13 damage.

Pressi, embolded by the warmth passing through her, attacks the creature. Though most of her blows glance off, one strikes true for 8 damage. In doing so, she feels the sting of her blow.
Alleah is pretty impressed that she was able to intimidate such a despicable creature as Uthvas. She can see that Shel is hurt and heals her for 13 points.
Cameron tumbles through the battle to arrive in the gore covered near the door. As he does so, the large construct strikes at him, barely missing. He then strikes the smaller construct for 8 damage.
Bliss moves and fires, hitting the large construct for 7 damage.
Shel tries to move forward, but sees that Cameron is blocking the doorway. She considers rushing in anyway, but thinks better of it with that carrion construct there.
Kezzem lashes out at the large construct, and his first blow drops it and it stops moving. His second and third blows sink into the carrion golem on the other side of him, inflicting 21 damage to the creature. It’s really hard to tell how badly this carrion construct is hurt as Kezzem sends bits of rotted flesh flying everywhere.

She looks down at the wall carefully, remembering that Uthvas disappeared through this section, looking to see if there is a concealed door (move action) or anything else unusual. Assuming the others had taken the final construct out, Shel follows into the room, dagger in hand. She intended on handing Pressi her curative potion, as it looked like she, as well as most of the others could certainly use it.

If Kezzem manages to kill that thing with Cameron acting as his flanker, then Cameron will move to AI/9 afterwards and Heal Kezzem, using one of the rather useless anti undead spells he prepared to fight a necromancer (lose Consecrate to gain CMW and heal Kezzem for a whopping 10 points)

Pressi moves to the wall area that Uthvas moved through (those that could see him when he did this did not see him use any door. They will say that as he was blinking, he seemed to step through the wall itself.) She examines the wall and the door by it. The door is locked. Shel made it through the slippery area unimpeded, but the overwhelming scent of death made it so she was useless after that, only capable of retching. Enough is enough. Having heard voices from the other side of the door that match those from the visions, Cameron takes matters into his own hands. " Not true Kezzem, we just have to get through the door. Pressi, I got Stinky, you kill that jerk inside. No half measures. Do it or stay out of my way." Cameron knows he can't hurt these things in a stand up fight, but if he keeps Kezzem upright and gets on the other side of them, the rogue will make short work of them. He loses another spell, forcing more healing energy into the rogue (Kezzem Heal 19 damage) before he takes off at a run for the door. I made the fort save because I was headed into what I think is the stinky zone. If I didn't need it just ignore it 8).
Bliss looks into the further room and tries to see if there are shadowy areas through which he can pass. Bliss ignores the nasty smells, but Mookie sniffs deep, delighting in the aroma, and revels in the carrion stench.
Bliss decides to go for it. He runs right through, dashing between legs, around feet, right through every occupied square. He can do this because he is tiny in size.
If he is near enough to dim lighting, he hopes his Hide in Plain Sight ability will keep him from being noticed. His stealth check is 32. If he is spotted, or if the light does not let him hide, then he will provoke AoOs as he dashes through the door and into the next room. Because of his Mobility feat, his AC vs AoOs provoked by his own movement is 26.
Once in the room, Bliss heads for cover or a corner, say AD3 for example. He looks around for dimlighting and a place to hide in plain sight. He keeps alert in case he sees something.

The dotted line in this new room are prison bars. There are locked cell doors to each of these "prison" areas. The only light is that from the sunrod in the red "Murphy" square, so the dim light spills into this room about 10'. This means the left half of the room is in darkness. Please correct me if there is another light source I am not aware of.
I have placed Veseley, Tiana, and Uthvas on the map even though you cannot technically see them.

Pressi began to walk slowly, steadily towards Uthvas, never breaking eye contact. "You know, relationships don't come easy. Back in Plateau City, I worked with this one guy who... well, I won't bore you with the details of how I stopped feeling comfortable dancing in front on a man, let alone think I could ever have a relationship with one.
"But the real piece of work was his wife. This sorceress who never had to lift a finger to punish me for what she thought I did. When I finally ran, she followed me. She had this little trinket that I could never hope to afford, but that I always coveted. A simple robe. A robe that could let you take any form you want, even a bugbear or a drow. She wore it so that she could finally end my life. Looks good on me, wouldn't you agree?"

Poor Shel. The thought of Murphy’s entrails on the floor combined with the stench in the room catches up with her and she is nauseated for 1 round. She moves forward even as she throws up.
Kezzem tells Pressi to fall back and let the carrion golem follow her so they can get a flanking position. Kezzem moves and takes a defensive position.
Cameron suggests they instead rush Uthvas. He heals Kezzem and then moves hasted into the door to a potential flanking position on the golem. (20’+20’ for haste, blue squares are encumbered terrain, so I presume his use of the term “heroically” means he used a hero point. Also, while Cameon would threaten the golem’s square, it will get cover against Cameron from the partial wall, so +4 AC.) The light cast on Cameron illuminates this room.
Bliss moves into the room. As he enters, he can see that there are barred cells in this room. He can see Uthvas in the far corner of one of the cells, and Veseley and Tiana are in here as well. The light emitting from Cameron prevents Bliss using shadows to hide in here.
Alleah moves up to heal Pressi.
Pressi moves slowly toward Uthvas. She finds the door to the cell he is in is locked. She begins to unlock it, but fails (DC 25.)
Uthvas stands there, behind the bars dressed in his flowered robe and lipstick. His image still blinks in and out, but he looks a little uncertain as Pressi walks in slowly and starts to unlock his cell. “You ignorant little brats. You have no idea what I am capable of. If you did, you would bow before me. You force me to take desperate measures when you should offer to help me in my work. Join me or fear me - your choice.”
He casts a spell affecting Pressi, Bliss, Cameron, (DC 21 Will Save vs Fear. Success means you are shaken for 1 round, failure means you are panicked for 9 rounds.)
Tiana begins to scream. You hear Velseley say, “No Tiana, not again. The screaming accomplishes nothing!”
Then Uthvas turns to the (left, South) wall attempting to step into it. With a small pop his blinking image shudders and he fails to move through the wall. He grimaces. “Arrrrrrr. Not again. Bliss tries to fight down the rising fear that magically pushes at his mind. His natural 20 and his halfling fearlessness easily wins the day.
Not able to hide, he sees no reason to be quiet. "You're a bad lady," says Bliss, possibly a bit confused by the nuances here. "I serve Lord Gargul, and he's not much of a one to like the things you do."
Bliss shoots at Uthvas. His attack still benefits from Bless and Divine Favor (the latter for only this round and the next), but being a bit shaken cancels those benefits out. The tiny crossbowman hits AC 18, a miss.
"Mookie!" Bliss messages in a whisper, "head him off at the pass in case he tries to blip through a wall."
Mookie caws back, "Okay, Kid." The bird double-move-flies to AC9 and perches on a piece of taxidermy.
Then Bliss tries to slip through the bars (Escape Artist check 21 -- no wait, 19 because he is shaken) and then walks into Uthvas's square if he gets through. If Uthvas is armed or has the unarmed strike feat, then Bliss's AC vs the provoked AoO is 26. Not that Bliss can attack if Uthvas provokes an AoO -- Bliss has no reach and no weapon at hand except his bah -- but he figures it might freak out the fellow, and make it hard to target him with area attacks. Bliss won't spend more than a move action to squeeze through; he'll stay out otherwise.

Shel moves to AF3, assuming she gets by the golem.

(DC is 20 minus the number of his party members in the area he wants to go. This reflects Murphy's strong tie to his friends. Cameron smiles as Pressi passes him and calmly starts opening the lock. He had feared that herdesire for law and order would override her instinct for revenge. He chuckles when the Necromancer tries to blink through the wall and is ejected, bleeding worse than he had been before. The chuckle becomes a full throated laugh when the Necromancer's last ditch attempt to live is to try and instill fear. " If you survive this Uthvas, you will need to learn to listen when people talk to you and tell you their intentions. I told you I was an Avenger, sent by Jancassis to settle a debt you have accumulated. Avengers know no fear. We, as you might have guessed are Halflings. Halflings are smaller than everyone and oppressed by those who prey on the weak. We learn to not fear what is to come but adapt to it and overcome it. You have lost. Your constructs are defeated and we are about to destroy you. Had you not defiled Murphy's body I would be able to guarantee yu that if you surrendered, they would let you live and present you to proper authorities who would try you and probably only imprison you for what you have done. But even these good natured souls can see that no such fairness exists in this place. So instead of just surrender, you need to make it worth our trip here. Teach these halflings the way to extract and use Giant Essence. Show them a way to save their homes. Beg for forgiveness and maybe, just maybe, they will let you live. I will still think it is wrong to steal someone's soul, but I will be the minority, and as they have many times already, they will stay my hand. This is your only hope, because she is angry, hurt and really upset about you ripping her boyfriend apart. Try as we might, she is stronger than any of us and if she wants it, she'll take your life before any of the others can stop her." Cameron is immune to Fear due to the trials he survived to become an Avenger. He states this all conversationally, he will try to maintain this for 10 rounds in order to TRY to influence his actions, but without a miracle, he isn't lasting that long. So long as this is just conversation, Cameron will continue to act. If it requires more concentration that that, he will just talk to taunt the man and act normally.(I am not sure how much of an action this is. If it is more than just free like talking, then he doesn't try to influence his at all, just act) Cameron then sees Kezzem arrive and focuses on the beast before him. Pressi's comment that they DID offer to help him in his work TWICE died in her throat as the spell took hold. Panic. The loss of her man. The stress of the battle. Her family's insistence that she would never amount to anything. The humiliation she felt on the streets. The failure of self control as Cameron's pleasure filled her ears. The inability to fight well enough, to need so much healing, to never be good enough.
Waard's voice continues to fill her ears as she flees. "You can run from the monsters. But where do you run from yourself? Your weakness, your stupidity, your belief that you will ever be the hero or be accepted. Where do you run, Diamond Dust the Rogue, when the monster is you?"
Pressi runs to Murphy's body (no acro checks), struggling the best she can to gather Murphy's body and belongings. She had to save him. No matter what, she had to save him.

Bliss mistakes Uthvas for a woman, but he can see the necromancer trying to blink through the back wall. He shoots the guy, but misses. Bliss sends Mookie to intercept Uthvas (brave Mookie.) Then he runs into the cell and between Uthvas’ legs to distract him.
Shel’s queasy stomach settles down, and she casts Invisibility on herself and moves past the remaining golem and into the room. (Her move is only 20’ and there is encumbered terrain, so I placed her as far as she could go.)
Kezzem introduces himself to the golem. Then he stabs it for 11 damage. (Technically, Cameron does threaten the golem, though the golem has cover against Cameron.)
Alleah steps closer to Cam and blesses him with Wardd's luck.
Cameron laughs at Uthvas, and then tells him that he needs to beg forgiveness and teach the halflings to extract giant essence. (The rules for Diplomacy to influence attitude are here. “Diplomacy is generally ineffective in combat and against creatures that intend to harm you or your allies in the immediate future.”) Cameron attacks the creature twice (but fails to specify any damage.)
Pressi is gripped by an intense fear. She drops her picks and tools in the room and bolts! She gets as far as Murphy’s remains (2 move actions) but in her panicked state she cannot pick up anything. This also provokes an attack from the carrion golem and it hits her for 9 damage.
Then the carrion golem turns its attention on Kezzem, but it misses him twice.
Uthvas stops blinking. He sneers at Cameron’s speech, “Beg forgiveness from such as you? It is you who should beg to aid me.” Then he moves 5’ away and casts a spell on Bliss. (DC 20 Fort save vs Baleful Polymorph. Bliss's Permanent Reduce Person is not a polymorph spell, so a new polymorph spell does not dispel it (you can have only one polymorph spell affecting you at a time.) However, you cannot have more than one spell that changes your size in effect at a time; they overlap but do not stack. So I'm applying only the larger of the bonuses/penalties comparing Reduce Person and Baleful Polymorph.
Technically, you cannot use a polymorph spell to assume the form of a creature with a template, nor of a creature not in the rules. So I am not sure what to use for sparrow stats. I'll take a leap and assume the use of the PF stats for a Thrush. Thrush = Sparrow seems reasonable?
Reduce Person applies +2 Dex and -2 Str. Baleful Poly acts as BSIII and applies +6 Dex, -4 Str, and +1 nat AC. That puts Bliss's Str at 5 and his Dex at 26.
Sparrow Bliss tweets excitedly and tries to grapple Uthvas! He dive bombs the caster and tries to get tangled up in his hair!
Bliss's CMB is +4 BAB +8 dex -4 diminutive size +1 bless = +9. He rolls a 22 against Uthvas's unknown CMD. If it works, Uthvas is grappled -- and takes a point of nonlethal damage, I think -- with the standard penalties that come from that condition.
Mookie hears Bliss's tweets through the Message spell and ponders the feelings he is getting through his telempathic link. The raven says, "Huh? Kid?" But he stays put, in case Uthvas comes blinking through.
Note that Bliss's AC is now base 10 +8 dex +1 deflection +3 natural +4 size +1 dodge = 27. His CMD is base 10 +4 BAB -4 size +8 dex -2 str +1 deflection +1 dodge = 18.

"Uthvas has to have stopped blinking at this point, right?" she began as she grabbed an alchemists fire (move action) and shoved the rest of the haversack into Alleah's hands (move action). "Tell the rest of the group to get the second dinner club and get out of that room. No matter what Uthvas does, we stop engaging and get out.
"If Uthvas wishes nothing more than to remain in his cell, let him. We are going to burn this Gargul forsaken building to the ground."

(Grrrr. Not sure how this happened, but between 6/30 and 7/1 posts the AC for the Carrion Golem at the end of my posts changed from 17 to 25! That is incorrect - their AC is 17. In the posts, I look at each hit and have been applying damage if it beat AC 17. Please let me know if I may have missed one. And if that weird 25 AC was a deterrent to attacking, I apologize.)
Bliss is hit by the necromancer’s spell and changes into a thrush! He manages to keep control of his mind, and the first thing he does is to fly into Uthvas’ hair, which actually seems to bother him. Bliss finds that moving from beneath his robes to the top of his head is a vast improvement. (A Thrush can attempt to grapple, and in doing so can itself gain the grappled condition. However, I’m not in agreement that a thrush can effectively give a medium creature the “grappled” condition and all that that entails. Instead I will apply a -2 circumstance penalty to his ability to hit due to being a bit distracted. There is a point at which the rules break down - you have found one of them.)
Shel moves 5’ and then hits Uthvas with Magic Missiles for 22 points of damage.
Cameron, having damaged the carrion golem last round for 10 damage, does so again for another 16 damage. Then Kezzem strikes it, killing it with his first blow.
Alleah sees Pressi race past her in a panicked state, and casts Remove Fear on her which has an immediate effect.
Pressi stops near Murphy’s mutilated body and see’s his backpack. He grabs the bag (move action) and removes an Alchemist fire (move action). Then he states his intent to burn the place down. Looking around, Pressi looks to where the (easternmost) large stone doors should be and sees a thick, dark curtain there, presumably hiding them. She sees a good deal of debris in this room, as with the others - some flammable, some not. In here, there are some papers and books as well as vats, containers, body parts, and various chemicals. There is medical equipment, knives, syringes, jars with liquid, etc. Being unfamiliar with the Grease spell, she does not know that the grease on the floor is not flammable.
Uthvas seems irritated by the thrush entangled in his hair, but the stakes are a bit higher for him that mere irritation. He looks at Shel, “You, I’ve had about enough of…” He ignores the thrush as best he can and casts Blindness on Shel (DC 18 Will save.) (This will provoke an AOO against AC 19 from Bliss. If Bliss is able to damage him, his concentration check is 19 which should be success.) _____________________ For Murphy: Highlight to display spoiler: {Shel’s Magic Missiles gleam brightly for Murphy in his current state. The threat from the stinking beast is done, and Cameron can do little to Uthvas while he is so far away behind a locked door. His heart grows conflicted though. He would like nothing more than to allow Pressi to burn down this house of horrors with the Necromancer inside. But he sees several flaws with this plan, the last one he notes, surprises even him. " Pressi, Though burning the house down with Uthvas inside would delight me and I am sure Jancassis, I can't let you do it. Listen to me. Really hear me, because this is important. First off, he won't burn. I tried it already, and he is at least resistant to fire. Second, until we do a thorough search of the place we can't be sure there are not more victims here that need help. That will take clear heads, and time. Third, that isn't who you are. No matter how much you posture and want Uthvas and the rest of us to believe that you are so inconsolable over Murphy's death that you would do these things, deep down you are disgusted that you would even consider doing them. You care about life. You were making plans to live it with someone you cared about. Vengence is for those that have given up everything and committed themselves to it with all their being. I know these things, and you haven't stepped over that line." " The last reason you can't do it, most surprising to me that I am saying this, Murphy wanted this idiot alive. Switching back to common, " Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get around to that hurting him real bad part. Take him alive. I have plans for him. plans he will most certainly not like!"
Cameron drops one of his short swords and as he moves draws his whip. He moves right up to the bars and with a practiced hand, tries to stop Uthvas from casting by knocking him onto his kiester.
Whip attack beats a CMD of 27 to TRIP Uthvas. This may not stop his spell, but it should screw up his day. Bliss tries to sink his beak into Uthvas's cheek when he casts. He does not have Weapon Finesse, so he uses Str, not Dex, on the attempt. His attack roll is base 1d20 -3 str +4 size +4 BAB +1 Bless = 1d20+6. He rolls a natural 1, a failure.
However, he continues to grapple with his action! This time he gets to use his dex, per the rules. And he gets a +5 to continue an already established grapple! But his size counts against him now! So his roll is now 1d20 +8 dex -4 size +4 BAB +5 grapple bonus +1 bless = 1d20+14. BirdBliss rolls a 16! Is that enough to beat Uthvas's CMD? If so, he takes a point of nonlethal damage. If not, Uthvas is still "grappled," but does not take the damage!
Mookie hears an insane symphony of chirps through the Message spell, and he gives up on his current guard post in order to return to the melee. He double moves 80 ft back to the room.
"LEM'S LEFT LUNG!" he shouts profanely. "Kid, this is a bad idea! Why did you change into a bird! Bad idea!"
The chirps resolve somewhat, and Mookie finds that sparrows and ravens can understand each other a bit ... "What do you mean, 'This is great!' This is SO NOT GREAT! I don't *care* if you're flying! Change back right this instant, young man!"

Pressi stopped short at Cameron's admonitions, any sarcastic or angry response clearly not being of any help. Of particular note was Cameron's statement about whether she had given up. "How do I know I should still keep trying?" she asked.
He was right, though. She was ashamed of how far she had fallen - how close she had come to crossing the line, how she had dreamed of burning someone trapped and alive. (The building should probably be demolished, though. Who knew how much perversity and secrets were in these walls.)
Standing up, she ran back towards the final room (double move). "Ok, alive we shall take Uthvas. Someone should also wake up and rescue the giant over there; he may be an innocent prisoner too."

Cameron hears Pressi’s threat to burn down the house, and notes the pain in her voice. He urges her to wait. He says they should keep the man alive so that Cameron can torture him instead. Cameron also believes he can bargain Uthvas soul to Gargul. Cameron steps back and uses his whip to trip the man (even at -4 because of the bars.) Uthvas falls prone. With a bird stuck in his hair.
Regarding the large flesh golems you killed here, they were tan, scantily clad, and did seem to breath. But their breathing never increased, even with the combat. They would occasionally grunt during combat, but you never heard them speak.
Alleah tells everyone to be ready to interrupt his spell casting with an attack, and then calls for Uthvas to surrender.
Shel resists Uthvas spell, and readies an action to cast a spell should he attempt to do so himslef.
Bliss exalts in his new bird form, and continues to grapple his hair. Bliss is able to affect the man with his attack. Barely. Mookie decides the boy has lost his mind.
Pressi rethinks her plan to burn Uthvas alive.
At that point, Kezzem opens the door to Uthvas’ cell.
Uthvas is getting worried - this is not going well. And he keeps feeling this cold chill run through him. “Now see here, I don’t want any more trouble with you folks. Just take your halfling friends and leave.” With that, he will cast a Wall of Ice, He’s still on his back when he does this. And he still has a stupid bird in his hair, which provokes an AOO. (His concentration check from Bliss’ 1 point of nonlethal damage is 25.) However, Shel's readied action also goes off inflicting 12 points of damage from a Magic Missle, and he does not make this concentration check. Bliss, enjoying his new bird form, remains tangled in the necromancer’s hair. Super annoying for Uthvas. Mookie comes in and asks if this is all appropriate.
Shel taunts the man and says that if he moves, they’ll kill him. She says she’d like to kill him now, but her friends prefer to keep him alive. Uthvas looks a bit relieved at this, but is intimidated by Shel.
Cameron looks pleased. He asks others to release the two members of the Second Dinner Club, and tells Pressi that the giant on the machine is alive. He move over Uthvas, telling him to surrender and his life will be spared. “Your choice, relent and have hope, or resist and we end you.”

Tiana’s screams have reduced to terrified whimpering as she huddles in the corner of her cell - she may have been affected by the Fear spell, and her eyes have a wild look. Veseley just looks a little loopy, “Oh look Tiana, I think these are friends. They’re our size and a couple of them look familiar. You really need to get a grip my dear.” To the party he says, “Do I know you?” To Pressi, “Well thank you my dear. I remember visiting you with this.” He holds up a pink, teardrop shaped stone about an inch long.
Uthvas lays on his back, and raises his hands in supplication, looking a bit odd in his lipstick and floral muumuu. “Well, I guess you win. You said you would spare me if I provoked you no further, and I’m not stupid. I accept your terms. Stand back and let me get up. And get this rotten bird out of my hair. It’s annoying.”
“If you were even capable of understanding the nature of my work you would find it quite fascinating. There is great potential here. Imagine that as you become old and feeble, that you could transfer yourself to a magically constructed creature, whatever kind of creature you like, and live forever! With all the other things she has seen in the past few minutes, Alleah isn't willing to take any chances with the strapped down giant. She casts Death Watch and looks at him more closely. She's wanting to find out whether the giant thing is alive, or dead, or neither alive nor dead (ie: a construct).
She isn't in the room with Uthvas or the Second Dinner Club, and thus, doesn't know exactly what is going on in there. She calls out in halfling "By my reckoning we're still short one, er, person. Where's the winged thing that greeted us at the door?"

Cameron binds the prisoner and calls to Alleah, in Halfling. " Good call. I haven't seen that thing since it locked us up" To Uthvas in common he asks " Where is your servant that met us at the door. I don't want him creeping around and surprising us. That would not be wise." Cameron might take the unguent that Uthvas says will raise Murphy, but has no intention of using it. Too dangerous to trust this snake. Rather some of his team will turn the house upside down for valuables while the rest see to the captives and the fallen or ensorcelled. Then a prayer or two and by Gargul's good graces they will go see the god to bargain for Murphy's life the normal way. No more cheating on Gargul in this house. Pressi finished dropping out of her drow form as Veseley addressed her. "Yes, you did visit us. Pretty nice device at that. How on earth did you manage to smuggle it in?" She also began to ask a number of questions as to how they were captured and what had been done to them and to the giants.
With other rogues apparently occupied, Pressi decided to try unlocking Tiana's door as well. (Disable 25.) "I am on fire," she said. With the room getting crowded, she directs the two towards the main room outside. She makes an attempt to determine whether they are all right (Perception 15).
Pressi was torn in regards to the... unguent? Raising of the dead? Much as she wanted to see Murphy again, she wasn't sure if she should trust it. (Sense Motive 21). While he seemed frightened enough to be legitimately cooperating, Pressi barely trusted cure spells, let alone something that seemed to warp the natural order. Still, they might need Murphy to move from his own power.
"Could someone explain to me how this Gargul stuff works?" she asked. "I mean, does anyone here even know how and where to do that?"
Mookie explains it all to Pressi. "I seen it several times. You use the magic, and maybe it opens a door, or maybe it just takes you somewhere else. The place it takes you is usually in the Realm of Shadows. That's what the uneducated call 'the ethereal plain,' but it is not filled with laughing gas, so why they think there's any ether floating around I don't know."
Blissd peeps up with some cheeps.
"I know, I know, I was getting to it. The Shadows is where the Kid here died back in the day, victim of a burst bag of holding accident we won't get into." Bliss hides under Mookie.
"Anyway, sooner or later you meet Gargul, or at least his servant, this crazy imp. Usually Gargul. Sometimes he wants something from you before he gives you back the dead guy. Sometimes not. He does not much like the lip, so I mostly keep my beak shut in those situations. But play it respectful like and you'll be fine. Then he declares his decision and sends you back to the Wold. Unless he does not like you, and you end up taken away. He'll punish you if you disrespect him."
"I ain't never heard of no one taking an enemy to see him. Not sure how that will turn out."
"Oh, sometimes he has company. The Kid and I met Lady Flower with him once, trying to raise a cleric of Flower. That was almost an unhappy ending, seeing as the cleric was a bit hippy dippy, and Gargul didn't cotton to his "far out daddy-o" routine."
"If Uthvas's ointment works, we could be seeing him in a few minutes, I guess."

Cameron looks down at the necromancer, and checks his bonds, then stuffs a cloth in his mouth for good measure. His whip is still in his other hand. To the necromancer he whispers, " Try to run, try to cast, try anything I don't like and I will hurt you, badly. You can still get out of this if you have half a brain and an ounce of shame in you." Cameron reaches down to where one of Bliss's bolts sticks out of the necromancer and collects a drop of blood, saving it for later. Then he turns to the others and explains his plan. " I have been to Gargul's realm before, when Bliss opened a portal to raise a comrade, like Mookie said. I have also called Gargul's attention to another fallen comrade and helped him be restored even though I was not physically near him. That was tricky, and I think Gargul might have been a bit put out, but he never came after me to say so, and I get the feeling he would." "Here is what I propose..." At this point Cameron drops into the halfling tongue and asks Mookie to fill Bliss in in bird speak. " Gargul HATES when folks go around his mastery over life and death. That is why there will e no ointment used. Correct me if I am mistaken Mookie, but you used to be the familiar of Bliss's mom, Vauhwyt, right? As I recall the story going, Lord Gargul was outraged that one of his Grims would go around his authority and use a which coven ressurection to restore Bliss to life. His mother did not deny it and only cited her grief about losing all her children as reason. Lord Gargul sentences her to some very long and hard labor to pay back the slight, and Bliss has not seen his mother since. That about right? In a moment, I am going to cast a spell taught to me by My Lady of Retribution to show me those that wish vengeance on Uthvas. I expect either Vesely or Tiana, maybe both, will show postive and possibly some lost souls we cannot see. We will do what we can here, free the giant and any other captives, loot Uthvas items and then I will call upon my lady to shift us into the Realm of Shadows. SHe will take us to Gargul's throne and we will hand him over Uthvas, allowing all those he has tortured and killed to rest. Gargul will judge him for his crimes and likely will be pleased with us. Pleased enough I am sure to restore Murphy to life. Hopefully, pleased enough that if we ask nicely he may allow Vauhwyt to at least see her Bliss, maybe even go free. We are going to do a very good thing, and satisfy both Gargul and Jancassis at the same time." "Can you all wait that few more minutes to regain Murphy? I will have no part in using that salve on him. That too should be given to Gargul." "Oh, and can someone dispel Bliss? The bird thing is cute, but he is like a thrush on speed and it is kinda giving me a headache." Cameron smiles at Bliss as he says the last part.

The party stands over a prone, surrendered necromancer.
Alleah casts Deathwatch to see if the giant strapped to the table is actually alive or some sort of construct. Deathwatch tells her this creature is alive and not near death.
Kezzem points out to Uthvas that he has a little something in his hair. He gets a flat look from the necromancer in response.
Cameron binds and gags the necromancer (hands only? Can he still walk?) Then he asks about the small, winged creature that answered the door when they arrived.
Blissparrow disentangles himself from the necromancer’s hair, and speaks through Mookie saying, “you better bring back Mister Murphy pretty fast! And it better include a visit to Lord Gargul, because he gets mad if you bring people back without permission.”
Pressi shifts back to her halfling form. She asks Veseley where he got the item he used to communicate with the party. She then asks how this whole Gargul thing works. Mookie fills her in.
Cameron declares they will not use this ointment that Uthvas has offered. He informs the gagged Uthvas that he will hurt him badly if he tries to move. He outlines past interractions with Gargul, including Bliss’ own experiences. He says that he will call upon Jancasis to transport them to the realm of shadows and that she will do so. Then he asks if someone can restore Bliss to his halfling form.
Shel tells them to wait a moment. She goes out to the lab, and after about a minute she finds a sealed clay pot. In it is a foul smelling greasy salve. Uthvas confirms it as the material he mentioned with a nervous nod. Shel’s spell reveals it as containing the effects of a Raise Dead spell.
Uthvas tries to speak, but he’s gagged. Murphy hurries over to Alleah, as she suggests using the ointment on Murphy, and passes warmly through her heart, trying to bring some sort of blessing to her, as she seeks to heal, and to try to bring him back.
As Alleah describes three healing channels, he will be with her on the first surge (if he can aid her in her healing intent - perhaps in game mechanics a +1 on her roll? he tries that); then pass through Shel, who examined the unguent, and is his long-time good friend; and through Pressi, towards whom his affection grows.
If someone does go to place the unguent on Murphy, or moves his body- Highlight to display spoiler: {Among the druid's remains, just under his ripped coveralls, falls out a Rubber Stamp of Justice. This rubber stamp comes with a pad of bright red ink. When pressed against someone's forehead, it leaves the words 'Bad Guy' in big bold letters that won't wash off for a month (as per Arcane Mark.) Yes, his hands are bound, his feet are hobbled. He can shuffle but not run. " Fine. If it works like you say, then we will go and see Gargul when it is used. I can't detect magic, I made other choices today. There is a bloodthirsty mob outside waiting for us, do you really want Gargul to put us back here when we leave his court? We need to search the house, and I need a moment to try and connect with my Goddess to see that justice awaits when we get to Gagul's door. Plus we need to get the big guy up. If he stays here they'll kill him when they finally break in." Using the vlood he collected earlier, Cameron casts Detect Victim and braces himself for what will be revealed. Once he knows the approximate number of people wronged he prays to Jancassis to help gather those wronged at Gargul's court do that they might see Uthvas punished for what he has done. Also, Cameron takes out his own rubber stamp (from the same Loot n' Booty win) and uses his ink and Murphy's stamper so that both of them have a say in marking Uthvas. Then he will see to the giant. Heal 14 He examines the giant and tries to determine if a Lesser Restoration will be enough to wake the thing.

Pressi looks uncomfortable as she takes the salve from Shel, but less uncomfortable than some of the others. "You understand this means no more comments about my love life and relationship with Murphy, right Shel. Last chance to take over - or get them out now."
To Cameron, she adds "Yeah, I was kind of worried more about the idea of some sort of hideous twist where we have to put down monster Murphy." Shouting so Uthvas can hear, "If that happens, I can always tie him to a funeral pyre with a bunch of dragon eggs. Don't think I won't, especially if they are on sale.
"As for making Gargul mad... Well, we already had the impossible goal of the six of us somehow not angering him and showing proper respect. With the odds already against us, one more won't hurt."
Pressi stuck her fingers into the salve and began to rub it on Murphy's chest. "Honestly, we really should be doing this in candlelight."

Bliss suddenly is afraid that Uthvas will avoid his fate. He flies over to the bound necromancer and grips as hard as he can with claws and beak. He can only try to drag the necromancer into Gargul's Realm by holding on tight.
