Either Nikolai is particular bad at fibbing, Anna's kick is not quite convincing, or these men are just particularly perceptive today.
Either way, that man is not yours to kill. He's given us all the information we need, and he should be dead. I'll just correct that oversight. As for you he points at Nikolai, [b] you'll be coming with us to see the boss. She'll soon have this sorted out. The rest of you lot can wait inside here.
Nikolai finds himself surrounded by 3 men with halberds, and another is approaching the Malister to finish him off. The last is a woman, who stands quietly by the door, not visibly armed, but eyeing the Agents carefully to see if any are about to make a move.

Tinker's bolt just manages to punch into a gap in the approaching man's full plate armor.
Nikolai pulls some fancy footwork, evading the weapons bristling around him and the fire that he called out of his bead. The leader also manages to evade the fire, and one of the bandits and the robed woman are only slightly singed. The third bandit takes the full brunt of the explosion.
The woman is unfazed by Nikolai's attack, slithering out of the way with a reptilian grace and reaching out to touch him but unable to make contact.
Pru and Trayvin move to help the Malister while Anna shields them with her body.
The two other bandits closest to Nikolai close in behind him, and one manages to slip a blow past his defenses. Hit AC 27 for 13 damage
The leader and the last bandit close with Anna, the first charging in but tripping over his feet, but getting in position for the leader to pull a chain from around his waist and try to bypass the armor Anna was bragging about, though he misses nearly as badly.

Tinker curses himself for missing an easy shot, but hopefully Trayvin's spell will help out for his next one.
Michael closes in on Nikolai's target, but has to move too far to attack as much as he would like. He'll have to settle for only her kidneys being perforated. only one attack allowed after a move action Thanks to Pru's help though, he'll be able to make all the attacks he could wish for soon.
Anna maintains her defensive position, occupying the two men nearest to her, and Nikolai unleashes his fury against the robed woman, whose jaws go slack after being punched in the side of the head, and seems to barely be keeping her feet.
His attention on her though, leaves him open for the men around him, who step in to sandwich him and one delivers a mighty blow with his Halberd. hits AC 32 for 18 damage

Michael shifts his position and puts the robed woman in the ground, and gives another strike to one of the plate wearing men, though he is not in position to strike with precision.
Nikolai sits back a second and assesses the situation, but sees no other players in this battle.
Pru shoots a volley of missiles at the man with the chain. That's what he gets for threatening their rescuee.
Trayvin and Anna gang up on Halberd man, putting big dents in flesh and armor alike. Between them all, there's a wall of angry Agent between the bandits and their former prisoner.
The two men continue their assault, hoping to take down Nikolai and Anna. Nikolai's defenses are solid though, and he ducks and weaves easily. The leader however, gets a lucky strike on Anna, but she is able to evade the worst of the damage. nat 20, not confirmed, 10 damage plus 5 sneak for 15

Tinker only has one bolt left in his repeating crossbow and so takes careful aim before shooting at the halberdier, striking him from a flanking position within 30 feet. He then discards his crossbow and draws his sap while sliding up unobtrusively from behind, keeping himself between the Malister and any living opponent. "Die now or give yourself up to face justice", he growls. ..........

Pru is beginning to re-think her spell choice. Hammering her opponent with wave after wave of Magic Missiles seems so....obvious. Maybe she should work on something subtler? But the missiles are already flying through the air; it's too late to call them back now.

Tinker's carefully aimed shot puts the halberdier on the ground and he approaches the leader, sap and threatening voice making him an intimidating figure.
Nikolai keeps up his defenses, trying to distract the men while Michael takes them out. It proves effective, as a flurry of attacks takes the flanked man down, where he quietly bleeds out.
Without a halberdier to attack, Anna's attack solidly swings into the leader, as do more shots from Pru. Trayvin's blows put him over the edge, and he is down as well.
Seeing his comrades either dead or dying, the last man drops his halberd and starts running for all he is worth towards to road out of town, though he is rather slow with all the plate weighing him down. Panting with exertion, he yells over his shoulder.
Haaaa! You may have won this fight, but now the villagers are doomed!
The party barely have a moment to catch their breath, when fresh plumes of smoke can be seen rising from the boat house!
The boathouse is a long structure (100ft long by 40ft wide) with one side hanging over the water to allow small ships to enter the boathouse for maintenance. On both sides there are large double doors closing the boathouse. On the one side it leads to the road… on the other into the water. The water reaches about 40ft into the house.
“No! NO! Please Nooooo!” comes the scream of a man from inside the boathouse. His scream is immediately cut off by the sound of a loud splash, as if someone has fallen into the water. This is followed in quick succession by more screams and more splashes.
The hay on the long side of the boathouse is very alight! Standing on the small boat is a man with a longbow. He draws back the string and fires a flaming arrow into the hay by the front of the boathouse. The hay erupts, with some 30ft immediately alight!

The dwarf locksmith ignores the heat, sets aside the tingling in his fingers, and gets out a set of picks. He concentrates on the lock, heroically feeling if time slows down to get the lock done faster.

Everything seems to be happening at once. Tinker runs off to the door to see about making his way inside. His long practice makes the padlock seem to just open under his nimble fingers, yet as his hands brush the door, there is an explosion of acid in his face! Now he just has to deal with the mound of smoldering hay in front of the doors that is hindering pulling it open.

A barrage of stones and fire leap out at the man standing in the boat, who almost collapses under the onslaught.
Nikolai pursues the fleeing man and tackles his legs out from under him, quickly wrapping up the struggling man. he is grappled
Anna takes the more direct route, and applies sheer strength to the outer wall of the boathouse. With one mighty blow, she splits some timbers in two, creating a hole that she could carefully walk through, were she her normal size. Trayvin follows behind to support her.
The wounded man ducks down into the boat, but three others pop up where he was standing, and each shoot an arrow with a head of fire at their nearest targets, Pru and Michael.
One arrow goes wide of Pru, but two others find their way into the plucky little halfling, though he manages to avoid a critical strike. Arrows vs AC 28 and 30, crit not confirmed - 8 and 4 damage
A couple more splashes are heard, and one louder splash follows. There are screams from inside as panicked voices react to both fire and water hazards.

Prone on the ground and busy grappling the nincompoop halberdier, Nikolai can't see much of what is going on at the boathouse but he knows the Fist knows what to do. This man could get away and get in touch with Cybrine. His smirk as he ran off indicated to Nikolai he could crack pretty easy considering his overwhelming capture. If he played his bluff right, he'd be singing like a church choir.

Michael loads another bullet into his hoopak and lets loose, the haste giving him inhuman speed, the second bullet is in the air, he spies the two arrows approaching him, but so focused is he on returning fire he only manages to keep them from hitting anything vital. Anna's efforts must have tired her some, as her second bashing does little to widen the hole in the wall. However, it is big enough for Trayvin, should he wish to enter.
Nikolai continues to pummel the man he has wrapped up. (Haste is a go)
Michael unloads another 2 stones into the men attacking him, and Pru contemplates some fire. (Feel free to add in your action)
Tinker is single minded in his efforts, and perhaps the acid helped take out some hay, as he is able to clear a section before it spreads fire across the front door. He soon has it open and peers inside. Trayvin peers in from the other side, and between them and some dark vision, they get a good idea of what's inside.
There are 4 tied villagers inside, screaming their heads off. Splashing can be heard coming from over the edge of some wooden planks that drop off into the water, underneath where a boat can be pulled up for repairs.
The archers continue to draw and return fire at Pru and Michael, each letting off more arrows, though none now tipped with fire. Pru's assailant seems to know right where to damage a human the most, and she gets hit twice. (23 damage). Michael is also hit two more times. (13 damage)

Swiftly as haste allows, Tinker is by the villagers with his dagger out. "Hush! We are here and screaming won't help. How many are in the water? Are there any traps around you? Answer!"
Tinker waits for an answer before he cuts the nearest villagers bonds.

At least one of the prisoners seems sensible, and he immediately turns towards the ocean. There are 6 more of us in the water, help them before they drown! As soon as his bonds are cut, he immediately runs to the end of the boathouse and jumps off, ready to help those struggling in the ocean.
Michael is emboldened by Pru's magical protection, and he runs towards the boat and tosses in a flask. The front archer is hit low in the legs and his pants go up immediately, and a small fire begins to kindle in the floor of the boat. The two next to him take some damage as the flask breaks apart as well.

Anna doesn't want to take a chance on not being able to enter the building again especially when people could be drowning. She dismisses her enlarge self SLA (standard action) and then enters the builign moving towards the sounds of splashing.
She calls out to the people in the water "The giant frog that is about to get in their with you is here to help! Use it as a flotation device if you can"
She leaps into the water and in mid-air activates her beast shape 1 SLA choosing the form of giant frog she grows and her bone structure rearranges itself as her teeth become razor sharp and her skin becomes slimy and blackish green. She tries to position herself to buoy some of the people who are drowning so she can start using her razor sharp teeth to cut the ropes when she has more time to act..

Between the flask and the explosion, the boat in the water is well on its way to becoming firewood. One archer drops and begins splashing water around, trying to extinguish himself and the boat. The two others drop and pick up some oars, and begin pulling out to the sea. A fifth head pops up next to the boat and pulls himself in, then begins assisting with getting out of range of the Agents.

With a last herculean effort, the Halberdier manages to break free of Nikolai's grip, just in time to take a full force blow to the face from him, which loosens some teeth, and sends the man into dreamland.
Tinker frees the last villager in the boathouse and contemplates jumping in to help Anna rescue the others. Trayvin requests that Anna not worry about the ropes and just push them out of the deep water so that they can pull them onto shore.
Anna severs the ropes around one man's hands, and without any other prodding, he strikes off towards shore with the confident strokes of someone who grew up by the ocean, and may or may not be fleeing a giant frog creature.

Michael continues to harass the archers as they row their boat out into open water. One rock finds its mark, but they keep rowing. The two not rowing take up their bows and respond to the rocks coming at them. One almost grazes Michael, but is deflected by Pru's magic. prot from arrows 67/70
With the archers quickly moving out of range, Pru instead responds to the villagers, doing what she can to assist with the rescue. She runs into the full blaze of the boathouse, ignoring the heat that is trifling compared to what comes from inside of her.

The nincompoop almost got away and Nikolai had to loosen some of his teeth but the halberdier was now out cold for sure. How long he would stay that way Nikolai didn't even bother to think about. He immediately jumps to his feet and races towards the beach intent on helping his friends.

Pru begins looking around the boathouse for an oar or a pole or anything she can use to help bring people to safety. And it doesn't matter if said item is on fire; it won't hurt Pru and she'll just dip it in the water to put it out.

Michael continues to harass the archers with solid shots to the rower he had been targeting.
Tinker decides to move up his bath day and saws through the bonds of a villager in the water, bobbing up and down in the waves with ease.
Nikolai rushes to the beach just in time to watch the archers row out of easy reach. Is he ready to get wet as well?
Trayvin receives Anna's human cargo and cuts his bonds as she returns for another.
Anna can't get a good idea of how long any person can hold their breath without knowing their age, physical condition, etc, but she thinks the average person may be able to hold their breath about a minute, and people used to swimming and boating, maybe half a minute more? But all that can change with panic, sped up heartrate and respiratory pattern, so who knows?
Pru looks for something that she can use to help, and there are several oars, poles, and hooks used for maneuvering boats through the water. Maybe one of these can snag a villager, or maybe just bop them on the head. It all depends on how skillfully Pru can wield it.
The archers release another volley as the rowers continue to take them out of easy pelting range. The bobbing of the craft hampers their aim though, and all the shots go wide. Their threat has been much reduced though, as most of the villagers have been saved, and the rest shouldn't be far behind.

Tinker tries to swim for a villager in the water and doesn't do well, so he simply stops trying and allows himself to sink to the bottom and use the basted magic to walk to a villager to cut their bonds.

Trayvin continues to cut the villagers bonds as they get pushed, dragged shoved or poked towards the shoreline. He notices Tinker using the 'dwarven method' of swimming and shakes his head and smiles, a stray moment of levity in a stressful situation.

Maybe Anna could turn into a..I dunno...whale or something and get them. they are going to be completely out of range in just a few more moments.

Pru grabs up as many of the poles and oars and hooks as she can reasonably manage, and goes outside to try to use them. "Here, I have poles and things!" she shouts to her companions. She grabs one and attempts to push (or pull; I don't have a clear picture of where everything is) one of the bound villagers into shallower water.

Between the distance and the rocking, the men in the boat have ceased firing and drift to a stop well off shore. The flames in the boat are out, but the men are looking around them, seemingly wondering what to do now.
Tinker and Anna each free another villager, and Pru manages to snag one with a boat hook and tow him to where Trayvin is waiting to cut his bonds. Used your STR for push/drag, plenty to drag someone through the water Between all their efforts, the villagers are saved and are panting on the shore, thanking the Agents profusely.
Not one to let enemies escape so easily, Nikolai dives into the water and begins swimming out towards them, keeping underwater to hide himself. If he focuses all his efforts on swimming and the boat remains where it is, he will be able to make it to where they are 'parked' in 5 rounds

Pru's Fireball range is 680 feet, so I'm going to assume the boat with the archers is in range.
Pru launches a Fireball to explode above their heads--perhaps singeing their hair, but doing no real damage. "Perhaps you'd like to surrender now," she calls to them.

Tinker sees there are no more villagers drowning and so surges up and swims for Trayvin. Catching the half-Orc in a forearm hold, The dwarf scrambles out of the water and tries to skirt the fire that is burning the shore side of the boathouse.
"No sneaking on anyone anymore", he says shortly while watching the smoke rise to the sky.
Without ranged weapons, Tinker can't affect the boat confrontation, so he intends to sheathe his dagger and then retrieve his weapons scattered around the battlefield before turning his acid-scarred face to the end of the combat in a little boat out on the water.

With fire and rock still incoming from Pru and Michael, the archers only see one option for escaping. With varying levels of grace, they jump out of the boat in various directions and quickly disappear beneath the water.

Trayvin helps Tinker out of the water, and together they gather the scattered belongings.
The beach is a heartwarming scene, as formerly captive villagers run to and embrace each other, surprised that they made it alive through this ordeal. The man they saved from the makeshift rack is coming around, and he offers profuse thanks to the Agents for saving his people.

"Allright, let's get out of here." Trayvin heads for the outside of the building before it burns to the ground. He looks around on the way to make sure they didn't miss anyone.

Nikolai continues swimming and eventually has to peek above the water to make sure he's on the right course for the boat. When he does so he sees no one in it. Looking back at the beach he sees his friends no longer paying any attention to the boat either.
No point in letting a good boat go to waste, he continues his swim to it, now on the water surface. Once reaching it he grabs it and tips it some. It's light weight an indication of it being empty, he verifies that this is the case then clambers in.
Swim +6 = 14, 20, 25, 26.
He intends to row it back to the beach.

Gathering his weapons and making sure they are battle-worthy, Tinker is soon ready to trot over and truss up the unconscious bandit.
He drags him to the rack and makes sure the villagers don't hurt him.

She follows Nikolai's lead and hops into the boat only dismissing the SLA once she is sure she is safely in the vessel.

Nikolai, unaware that Anna had turned into a giant frog, at first thinks that one of the bandits is trying to get aboard again and takes up an oar to fend him off only to find himself batting at a giant frog who's strength overpowers his attempts to knock it back into the water.
Once in the boat the frog turns back into Anna.
"Jimminey Frog! Don't do that! Sharks are enough for me to worry about as it is!" he exclaims.
