"My thought is to let him keep his breastplate - it's too big for us. Instruct Nywald in the usage of the wand, and, if he can properly understand, then let him keep it to heal himself and his charges as need arises, or sell it for some funds. The amulet? I do not know of anyone in our group who cherishes devotion to Marteaus, whose realm some of us recently passed through. Perhaps let him keep it.
1. Wand of CLW - 7 charges left [to Nywald?]
2. Masterwork breastplate (but what sort of materials?) [let Ashakan keep?]
3. Amulet (holy symbol to Marteaus) - (not certain of properties) [let Ashakan keep?]
4. Great axe (not certain of properties) [let Ashakan keep?]
5. Belt (not certain of properties) [retain for party? Give Nywald coins for a portion of its worth?]
Pouch of Shadows - This appears to be a normal looking, leather belt pouch. However, reaching into the pouch, the wearer may draw out a handful of shadow stuff. By tossing it forward, the wearer can create the effect of the spell Silent Image, creating an illusion of anything with a volume no more than 2 10-ft cubes (10x10x20). As the spell it creates an image only, lasts as long as you concentrate, and allows a DC 13 will save to disbelieve if interacted with. This may be used only once."I forgot to mention, it was handed to me by an undead ogre, who said he was really a leprechaun," Murphy thinks to add. "Who would like to have it?" [Actually, I just won it in the Loot n Booty].
- The search Alleah suggested, and Kezzem agreed to. More on that in a moment
- Wake up and ensure well-being of the giant - can Shel and I work on that?
- Ensure Uthvas is dealt with - and how?
- Gather materials for repair of the towers. [Murphy does not say this, but most should be able to figure out he means the essence of giants]
- Consider disposition of Uthvas' tools in the dark arts - books and scrolls and materials
- Prepare to deal wisely with those who wait outside
"Bazeck Breezelee worked with his two friends, here with us now, to defend Humble's Ford, and Crescent Valley," the druid says, with a deferential nod toward Veseley and Tiana. "I saw him about town from time to time, and at the games where our group first formed - then not much until the day the tower fell. He knew many things, and sought to extend that knowledge. As Alleah said, he was brave. We saw that, briefly, in his last hour of life. And saw one of Marteaus' evil servants steal away his life. I, too, wish for him to rest in peace. Yet, I think we shall need to maintain our prayers toward that end on Bazeck's behalf. Marteaus wants to keep under his control all who meet death while in his realm. I pray, in time, our wizard's soul may escape that dominion. I am no great expert in the afterlife, but do know that the soul's journey may vary for each person, and we may make choices even after our last breath."Murphy sits down. Silently, he offers a similar prayer for Rais. After remarks by any others, he gives Shel a hug, and Tiana, and places his hand for a moment on Veseley's arm. He does mark all who came, wanting to remember who chose to honor the wizard.
He lifts his hands, clasps them before his chest. "I agree with Shel Breezelee Kromnite. Bazeck Breezelee will be missed, and we wish him peace. And with Bliss, I too, pray," and now he lifts up his arms toward the heavens, and recites,'Please guide him home to your embrace,
And bring him to a better place.'"
