Sid slaps Rodrigo on the back like an old friend, "You did well Rod. Drinks on me guys," he calls and, arm over Rodrigo's shoulder he pulls him into the center of the shields. "That was some good sword play while it lasted," he said in a low but hearable voice, "you've got to think about tactics though... and strategy."
He looks at Micah and everyone around him to make sure they were on the same page after Rodrigo said his oath.

When the guards get there, K inwardly sighs. He doesn't recognize the man in question (Know, local: 4), but figures dealing with them is going to be a pain. Still, they had a job to do. It's not like the Shields had a justice system and prison to handle this.
"Very well," he starts. "I am K, paladin of Flower. We are the Silver Shields, a registered adventuring company. We'd be happy to report in and answer any questions about what's been happening down here."
Diplomacy: 28 - K wants to be sure we start off on the right foot.

Recognizing the leader of the incoming guards Zander moves up to followup on K's excellent introduction, saluting the Sargent, "Sargent Lestrade, I'm so glad you're here. We've got the two ringleaders of this disturbance captured or neutralized here. I think you'll recognize Shredds from his description over there, he was killed in the fighting. Arellius was the other man responsible, we would be more than happy to come clear everything up, turn him over into your custody, and make a full report of his crime and what's been going on here."

Suspecting, based on Arellius' reaction, that there may be more to these pendants, Micah takes a closer look, his detect magic still being in effect.
His eyes grow cold and steely when Arellius insults Stohp. He takes a deep breath, clenching and unclenching both fists. In a steady, deliberate voice he says simply, "Then I expect you are in for some growth in both strength and in passion. I think I hear the city guard downstairs." Then to know one in particular, he quickly says, "Gag him and search him again to make sure he does not have any spell components or anything else."
"Sergeant Lestrade," Micah says as the guards enter, "Good timing, as always. Would you be so kind as to secure this prisoner and take him to the tower? Use caution, he is a spell caster. Since you overheard what has been said here, you should realize that this case is really very elementary. This man," he gestures to Arellius, "due to his misguided and misplaced faith has attempted to take over the Float. He is responsible for the recent plague in the Trash, several murders, and the mass drugging of a good portion of the Fence. Your apprehension of him may work well for your career." He moves to Shredds' body and checks to make sure the healing magic has not revived him, then similarly for the presumably dead cleric. "These two were his accomplices and appear to have paid the penalty for their crimes."

Dorbin steps back when the guards arrive and stays out of the action, leaving the talking for those better at it. He does take another look at the pendant, looking for any additional markings, or even any writing on them (perception: 19, linguistics: 17).
