DM RobC - "It's something to discuss on the road though"
Monday May 22nd, 2017 6:58:25 AM

And so, our noble adventurers depart from the Tree. Those residents that know you wave you off, while other traders keep going about their business.

The ride should take around 3 days, or so Miles informs you, and will take you via the Red Hills. Named for the color of the soil which is rich and dark red, this region is known as being both chaotic and primitive. It's not the kind of place you would let your guard down.

Miles is quite talkative along the journey. Perhaps he is just excited to travel with the Heroes of the Tree, but getting him to pause or stop talking proves tricky. The day is quite uneventful otherwise, and as the sun starts to set in the west you are quite happy with the progress made.

"... and then I said to the trader, I said arrow not marrow!" Miles erupts in laughter at his own joke.

OOC: I'm going to need

Atlas takes the opportunity while they ride to tell Pym about their various stories. It proves a bit difficult due to the difference in height, but he doesn't want to miss this opportunity to share. He keeps it honest and focuses on his opinion of things rather than trying to speak for the others. Although he does attempt to convey the feelings of those that have departed and cannot speak for themselves. "Maybe we'll even run into one or two of them on this trip."

As the day wears on Atlas begins to get a bit uncomfortable. It has been a long time since he rode a horse for this long. As a result, his versions of their stories continues to decline until the point where he finally gives up and tells Pym he'll try again tomorrow.

---------------------------------------------------
Storytelling: 1d20+4=6

OOC: Atlas will be up front as they travel, and he'll keep his normal watch order as noted in the wiki. Maybe Pym can take the 1-4, or swap with Squeaver?

I do my best during the walk to use my psionic mind control abilities to get Miles' horse to bolt, with him on it.

d20 = 16

OOC:
Our current outside marching order is this:
outside:
Atlas
Armand
Mack
Beordir
Squeaver
Osul (Wildshaped) circling the party - 50ft away and 50ft high

We need to add in the new players, and make any adjustments anyone wants. I'd think, more then likely, we'd also be 2 x 2 while we travel. That would be my preference. Anyone else? (left / right on the order?)
I'm not checking for traps as we go, but Squeaver and I can go anywhere. I have no preference.

For Standard Nightly Watch, we currently have:
20:00 - 22:00 : Atlas, Mack
22:00 - 01:00 : Mack, Squeaver
01:00 - 04:00 : Mack
04:00 - 07:00 : Armand, Beordir

That was a little more specific for spellcaster's needs and such. Some of us were pulling extra shifts because of Ring Of Sustenance or other such item, so we didn't need all the rest. If anyone wants changes, and new players, please let me know where you'd like to be added, and I'll get the WIKI updated.

Armand takes out his Masterwork Rhinoceros Horn Lyre, which was a gift from Carver. He looks upon it and remembers the Centaur's songs while in battle. When Atlas trails away with the tale, Armand attempts to play a little to help make the time pass.

It's not a great performance but Armand thinks it's passable (especially for having no real talent for the lyre).

Otherwise Armand remains silent, and tries to keep a watchful eye out as they travel.

Having not been around for many of the stories, Beordir listens carefully. When they get to the latest caper, he adds only minor embellishments.

He and his horse get to know each other. Beordir dyes some of his cord red and braids it into the horses mane to ease his boredom.

Once away from the Tree proper, Beordir activates his ioun stone. That does not keep him from provisioning feed for his horse.

(OOC I'm good with the marching order and watch order.)

'Osul checks the weather ahead for the day and shares his prognostication with his companions.
After gathering more fruit in his backpack he departs The Tree with the party in the shape of an eagle (where he is looking for trouble ahead, aside, or behind). After catching up in human form, he returns to the air as an elemental, and gets more experience in that form (after their last venture out).
He rejoins the team in human form, providing advice on the path ahead, and after dinner and conversation, tries being the campfire, as a fire elemental, and taking his rest.

During the breaks he tries to quietly ask people not called Miles and not within earshot of Miles, why we are headed north of east, and not south of east?

Atlas and Armand work together to tell tales of the party. There are parts where Atlas gets a little tongue-tied, but Armand helps him along.

Mack tries to use some sort of animal telepathy to get Miles' horse to bolt. Nothing happens. This time.

Beordir and his horse get to know each other in a "friends only" kind of way. He even provisions some feed for the horse.

After trying a few different forms Osul returns to human form and checks the sky. He's pretty sure the weather is going to be fine for the next few days.

Watches are set, and the horses corralled together.

With the clouds covering the stars and moon, it is very dark. The night is quiet for the most part. Turns out that Miles talks even in his sleep!

The smell of bacon and eggs wakes up those not on the last watch. Miles has cooked. "Breakfast is ready! Who's hungry?"

Waking up instantly at the words "Breakfast is ready!" Pym stands up and stretches, "Everything smells great! Thanks Miles." Pym looks at what is ready and helps himself to a portion.

"You know, this reminds me of the time Drogeos and I were on the road and he wanted to cook...." Pym trails off rambling about there are people who were made for cooking, and people made for axe wielding...

Pym is willing to take any shift for watch, and willing to stand anywhere in marching order. Well maybe not first or dead last in the marching order...

It can be dangerous traveling. Let's be on the alert and meet danger like it's meant to be met, with weapon in hand and spell on lips!"

"Armand, you are spot on, time to focus. The Red Hills are not to be taken lightly. My bad cop will be on full display, don't you worry!"

Atlas stays alert during their ride. He has been this way a few times before, so he looks about to see if anything is different about this trip from his previous ones.

"Regarding the Dragon Consortium, I think that entry would only help us in our mission to help the Tree. Imagine the good we can do, not to mention the prestige we would bring with us to the Tree. I think they would appreciate that. Anyway, maybe we ask around when we get there to see how we can go about getting an invite. I heard there might be trials of entry as well. Those that tuck into the breakfast are pleasantly surprised. Despite being cooked over a fire instead of in a tavern, these may be the best eggs and bacon you have ever tasted. The bacon is slightly salted and cooked just enough to render the fat, giving it some crunch. The eggs, oh the eggs. The eggs taste as if they were laid by heavenly chickens.

Miles doesn't just know how to eat food. Apparently he can also cook it very well. He seems pleased as you enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Beordir and Osul consider the path that Miles is taking the party on. They're confident he is taking them to Plateau City, and the course seems about right (Highlight to display spoiler: {Using the map here - http://www.woldiangames.com/Woldipedia/index.php/Geography:_Izen - it looked like the distance was equal whether the party went north or south around that forresty bit. Further, the way onto the Plateau is from the north: http://www.woldiangames.com/Woldipedia/index.php/Geography:_New_Elenna. So your DM decided that Miles would take the party the north route. If there's any confusion or suspicion it's purely DM fault. Not Miles....})

"So we made good progress yesterday, but we've still got a way to travel. How's everyone doing? Any saddle sores?" Miles asks as he cleans away his frypan. "Where did you want me to ride? Probably up front to help direct where we're going"

Mack charges. With caution! Atlas joins him in the charge. Behind them comes the cry of "DOMI!!!!" and Miles, too, urges his horse forward at full speed.

Armand is a little more cautious. He moves ahead, but considerably slower. With the others in his way he can't see much of what's going on. He determines that it is Mack's fault.

Osul flies 200ft closer to the dots ahead. He can see they are at ground level and of considerable size but can't see any finer details from this distance. (2) Because they can perform a mounted charge, Atlas and Mack (and 'most everyone) can outpace 'Osul, so, pending better tactics, think of him less as advanced scout and more like aerial support. Unless it is something he sees first, in which case he will investigate, return and resume human form to report something serious. If it is not so serious then you will see him resume his over-watch. "That's the spirit! YAH!!!" Miles matches Atlas' speed

Beordir casts a spell to protect him from arrows - which seems wise considering the circumstance. He spurs his horse closer to the action. He looks about the vegetation but unfortunately does not see any trees. There are simply small shrubs, cacti and other small such things.

Pym rides Hank as hard as he can towards the scene.

Now that the party are closer you can make out what is going on in a bit more detail. The creatures in the air look like flying trolls wearing lots of jewellery. You can't see any wings on them, and they are each armed with a bow an greatsword.

Osul identifies the creatures as Oni - a race of evil spirits known to take humanoid form. The large tusks and pale blue skin give it away.

Armand starts casting bless as he moves forward. E6 sees Armand begin to cast and takes his readied shot. The arrow hits Armand in the shoulder (Hit AC30. Crit confirmed on AC25. Armand takes 31pts damage and must make a concentration check vs DC47 to cast finish his casting of Bless)

Pym continues to ride forward as fast as Hank's legs will take him.

Beordir guides his horse with his knees and manages to fire a very accurate arrow into E5.

Atlas shakes off the spell with moderate effort, his cloak certainly helped. He can't see the invisible Oni no matter where he looks. He taunts them to come closer - fight him man to man-monster.

Mack casts a spell on himself and then moves closer to the wagons. He isn't able to make it all the way though. From where he stands he can't see the invisible Oni, but he does notice that the two nearest downed humans aren't dead! He can see their chests rise and fall as they breath. Their eyes are closed though. Are they sleeping?

Osul begins casting a summoning spell.

Kero forgets about his bow for the time being and instead grabs a shield from one of the nearby half-elves.

The enemy act...

E1 still doesn't appear.

E2 does though. It appears north east of Osul and takes a shot at him but misses widely (Hit AC11. Nat1 = Miss!)

E3 laughs at E2 and tries to show him how it is done. The shot - though shaky - hits (Hit AC13. Osul takes 17pts damage and must make a concentration check vs DC31 to cast finish his casting of SNA IV)

E4 laughs loudly at Atlas and respond in common "Why would I do that? It's so much fun killing you slowly like this. Slow, painful, and nothing you can do to stop me" It fires an arrow at Atlas but misses (Hit AC12 = Miss!)

E5 casts a spell at Mack and Squeaver! (Mack to make a Will Save vs DC16 or fall asleep. If Mack passes, Squeaver then has to make the same save)
Spellcraft DC18 Highlight to display spoiler: {Deep Slumber}

E6 laughs at the havoc being caused and fires an arrow at Beordir! The shot bounces off of his armor (Hit AC21 = Miss!)

Wow the die roller really hated you guys that round!

Mack stays standing but Squeaver goes down. Hopefully not permanently. He makes it over to the human at AK31. Mack is now certain the man is just sleeping. He doesn't look like a solider or guard, but more like a farmer of trader of some kind. Whoever he is, Mack doesn't stop to wake him and instead grabs the shortbow and arrows by the mans side.

Armand moves for the foliage, but unfortunately it just isn't as grown as he would have like (Highlight to display spoiler: {Per DM post 31st May: "He looks about the vegetation but unfortunately does not see any trees. There are simply small shrubs, cacti and other small such things."}). After healing himself up he calls for Osul's aid.

Pym sings a merry tune to spur the party on to victory. He even bolsters the power of his arrow, but in all his efforts he gets distracted and his arrow flies wide.

Beordir masterfully dismounts and gives his mount a firm slap to get it on its way. He nocks and arrow and watches it sail over the oni to land somewhere distant in the dirt.

Atlas decides now is the time to engage in some ranged combat. He attacks E5 but only manages to hit it once.

Osul sends his air elemental whirling through the Oni, but it doesn't have much effect.
(Highlight to display spoiler: {The AE is unable to make its slam as "A creature in whirlwind form cannot make its normal attacks", also, turning into a Whirlwind is a standard action as it's activating a SU ability. Also, please see this Rules forumdiscussion. The whirlwind from a medium sized elemental is treated as size medium})

He streaks over to the wagons and summons a fog cloud just above them to provide cover to the people below. No matter where he looks, Osul can't see the invisible Oni anywhere

Without a missile weapon, Miles charges about to try and make himself a target.

Kero goes to the first wagon and looks inside. Two women are huddled there with five children - 3 boys and 2 girls. All the children are under the age of 12. One of the boys - the eldest of the group has a serious look on his face (obviously trying to look brave) while the younger children cry and sob. One little girl looks to Kero, and with tears in her eyes asks "Are we going to die?"

The enemy act...

Enemy 1 still cannot be seen

Enemy 2 heads back north to take care of that pesky air elemental - Osul - but misses (Hit AC16 = Miss!)

Enemy 3 flies closer to Pym and attacks the singing bard! (Hit AC18 = Miss!)

Enemy 4 laughs loudly "Face to face it is!" It drops its bow to the ground and draws it's greatsword to attack (Hit AC28 & 18. Air Elemental takes 32pts damage)

Enemy 5 takes a shot at Mack! (Hit AC25. Mack takes 13pts damage)

Enemy 6 nocks and arrow and holds his shot.

Mack* moves to get some partial cover (gaining +2 AC) by positioning a wagon between himself and the nearest Oni. He fires an arrow towards it but misses his mark (Highlight to display spoiler: {Flanking only applies to melee weapons unless there is some ability I've overlooked})

He keeps his eyes open but just can't spot any invisible creatures right now.

Beordir wisely suggests the party focus their attacks on one creature at a time. He moves closer to the one attacking Armand but misses.

Pym backsteps a little and fires an arrow at E3. He's pleased with his shot and let's everyone know about it. In all the excitement he overlooks that he actually missed (Highlight to display spoiler: {AC to beat is 21 not 18 :)})

Atlas, however, is in good form. His arrow flies straight and true.

Armand heroically uses his horse as a living shield (yep, soft cover grants a +4 AC bonus). Of course, that means the Oni also has cover from him. Armand begins casting a spell, triggering the readied action of E6. It fires an arrow at Armand, but his meat shield bears the brunt of it (Hit AC19 = Miss! But the horse bolts on being struck) Armand fires a searing light at E3 and hits it quite convincingly.

He tries to think of any weakness that they may have, but if anything, all he can think of is that these Oni are not showing the signs of regeneration that they are known for, praise the Gods! If they were true mages they would also have other spells at their disposal, wouldn't they? Are they holding back? Have they already cast their spells for the day?

Osul pleads with his elemental to bash the Oni, but its slam attack misses. He begins casting a spell to bring some pain to the monsters.

With little success with the crossbow, Kero drops it to the ground and draws his sword. He has no idea who these strangers are, but they seem to be on his side.

The enemy act...

Enemy 1 finally appears.. on the ground.. behind Pym! (Hit AC28 plus bonuses from being invisible. Pym takes 10pts damage) "Don't worry, little one. It will be over soon"

Enemy 2 sees Osul begin casting a spell and tries to interupt him! Fortunately Osul elemental form is a bit trickier to hit (Hit AC18 = Miss!)

Enemy 3 laughs on seeing Pym get attacked and turns his attention elsewhere. It fires an arrow at Beordir and misses badly (Hit AC17 = Miss!)

Enemy 4 rolls its eyes. "This thing is not worthy of my time. I want something I can eat. Like you!" It descends to the ground and attacks Mack (Provokes an AOO from the Elemental. Hits AC33. Mack takes 13pts damage) Mack gets the impression that he was very lucky that wasn't critical.

Enemy 5 takes a shot at Beordir! (Hit AC29. After Prot from Arrows, Beordir takes 4pts damage)

Enemy 6 nocks another arrow and holds his shot.

OOC: Sorry on that flanking, getting my rules mixed up between different game systems. ;) No flanking with ranged weapons... I just verified. The IC was for Inspire Courage from Pym, which I thought we still had. With that, even without the Flanking bonus, I believe I still hit with the arrow (AC 21 instead of 23). Speaking of IC / Inspire Courage.... is that off? I'm rolling attacks this round as if it's off. Otherwise, both of my hits do an extra +2 damage.

Beordir steps over to Squeaver and looks to heal the downed creature. He looks to deliver some first aid, but looking at Squeaver he decides on another course of action. All it takes is one quick slap and Squeaver wakes up.

Armand delivers both a stunning retort and a searing ray of fire. The flyers are remaining 50ft up in the air, but have stopped circling the wagons to focus on the party.

Mack sees an opportunity to fight, and steps towards E4 to hurt it again. As he does Atlas coordinates an attack. The pair flank the Oni and deliver some good damage. The Oni swings at Atlas and hits (AoO Hit AC21. Atlas takes 15pts damage!)

Osul calls down 2 lightning bolts (OOC: Please note the DC of the Lightning Bolts since I think a Ref save = half damage)

The air elemental slams into the E2 as is sails past.

Pym is completely surprised by the Oni that appears behind him. He tumbles away - just - and takes a short at the Oni, but misses in all the excitement.

Kero looks into the sky but it is clouded by the Fog Cloud that Osul cast. It offers good protection from above; noone can see through it.

The enemy act...

E1 laughs at Pym "Don't run away little one. You'll just die tired" It pursues him and attacks. The gods must be favoring Pym today and the greatsword swings just over his head (Hit AC15. Nat1 = Miss!)

E2 decides that trying to hit Osul with a bow isn't working very well. It drops its bow to the ground and approaches Osul with sword drawn (Hit AC32. Osul takes 16pts damage!)

E3 also tosses its bow away and lands to fight face-to-face with Armand (Hit AC25. Armand takes 14pts damage)

E4 has taken quite a beating. He now has 2 targets to fight though. Mack dealt the most damage and that's who the Oni focuses on (Hit AC26. Mack takes 11pts damage!. "You look tired, little one. Lie down now and take a rest, and I promise I will end your life quickly"

E5 lands to flank Beordir ([i]Hit AC26 Beordir takes 10pts damage!

E6 continues to hold his bow at the ready, as he scans each member of the party.

Miles, meanwhile, has been rallying the humans by the wagons. They each have a shortbow now and are targetting the Oni. You can hear Miles scream "READY!"

OOC: Thankyou everyone for your patience. As promised, I will be applying a +1 bonus to every d20 roll you have made this round

Armand does his best to avoid provoking an attack but manages to perform 2 moves that each provoke an attack. Fortunately the Oni does not have combat reflexes (AM45 is a threatened sqaure as is AM46. Refer Large Tall). AoA Hits AC32. Armand takes 16pts damage!)

Armand still has the strength to draw on all his power and release two energy channels. E3 dies and slumps to the ground whilst E1 looks considerable worse for wear.

Mack sidesteps and unleashes a flurry of blows against E4. Squeaver gets quickly to his feet and takes the long way around, keeping outside of reach of any oni.

Beordir awkwardly tumbles provoking an AoO from E1. Fortunately E5 is still 50ft in the air and unable to reach him. (AoO hits AC30. Beordir takes 12pts damage!). He protects himself once safely out of reach.

Osul moves away from the Oni and drops another lightning bolt right on top of it. The bolt strikes the Oni and the ground below. Fortunately none of the settlers were underneath. The air elemental makes a flyby attack, provoking an AoO from the Oni (Whereas the last flyby was against an Oni with a bow, this one has a greatsword. Hit AC24. Air Elemental takes 15pts damage!. Calling a lightning bolt is a standard action. Osul's fly speed is from EB1 so I think his airspeed is 60ft. He can't make it from AO26 to AY40 in 1 round) From what he can determine, Mack is the most in need of healing.

Kero readies himself to attack the first enemy he sees on the ground.

Pym continues his performance and takes a shot at E1, hitting it squarely in the chest.

"LOOSE!!!" comes the cry from Miles. E4 and E6 finds themselves on the receiving end of several shortbow arrows.

(OOC What do you mean E45 is 50 feet in the air? Your previous post indicated that E5 landed to flank me. I moved under the understanding that he was on the ground.

Elves are immune to sleep effects. Will roll in case this is different. d20+8=11 But I hope not.)

If Squeaver can get to AO32 (go up on the wagon and drop down) and flank E4 without drawing an AoO, he does so (I believe he can, since he can move up to 50'). If not, he moves directly in to AN34 to attack.

Squeaver, AC 17, HP 26, Speed 50
(bite, claw, claw: d20+7+2(flank)+2(IC) for 1d4+1+2(IC),1d2+1+2(IC),1d2+1+2(IC)
+1 to hit and +1d6 cold damage on first attack from frost tear
3 horrible misses)

Wowzers.... apparently Squeaver is a little confused from being down, still.

(flurry of blows: d20+10+2(flank)+2(IC) for each blow, and d4-1 damage+2(flank)+1d6(sneak)+2(IC),
+1 to hit and +1d6 fire damage on first attack from flaming tear
Miss AC 17, and Hit AC 31 for 1+2+1+2 damage)

I think I may have just broken a record for number of 1s and 2s rolled in a row!!!!! :(

Can a Hero Point be burned as a defensive move? If so, I'd like to burn a Hero Point to give me an extra chance to block any attack thrown at me.

Squeaver provides me cover as I 5' step back to AO31 after attacking.

Rolled an extra d20 (9 plus any modifiers) in case I need to roll for any Climbing or Acrobatics when Squeaver moves into position at the beginning.

OOC: Mea culpa on the speed, but Elemental Body II (from the Improved Wildshape feat at 7th). Still won't get me any faster than 60', and so my speed has been out all day. Also need a call on the altitude on E2, please? 'Osul at 110' up was struck by E2 a round or two back, so I am unclear how a 30' tall lightning bolt through E2 was a threat to anything on the ground.

Will Save: 21!, Spellcraft: 18! - Glad to not be falling 110' to to certain death, but not surprised he would have slept through the whole thing.

Medium Air Elemental - Round 5 of 7: hp 15/30 moves to AN34@+5' to attack E2 {AC23 for 6 damage}, and to flank with Mack (flanking bonus no included above).

Despite the spell from the Oni, 'Osul flies southwest 60' to AL43@+110', and drops another bolt {3 bolts and 66 rounds remain} - this time on E1 - for 9 damage {DC20 on Reflex save for half damage}.

"Oh, is the Big bad Monster scarred to pick on something bigger?" Atlas taunts E4.

He swings his longsword at E4. 30 (d20+18 oops, that should be +16, no more inspire. Still hit though.)
Damage 12 (d8+6)

He draws back and swings again at E4 18 (d20+10 corrected this time, only adding flank).
His swords swishes the air in front of the oni.

He targets AF39 and casts HOLY SMITE. Waiting for the last possible moment should E5 start to descend.
Damage 24 (7d6) will save 17 for half damage also to avoid blindness (if they fail will they are blinded for 1 round)
OOC dang I read the spell and realized these are evil outsiders, d6 per level.

"Miles, don't split the attacks! Put them all in the same Oni!" Armand cries out.

Pym swiftly falls asleep and starts to dream of second breakfast. Mmmm... breakfast.

Beordir is as confused as the DM. Since it didn't harm Beordir, then no harm no foul. Being immune to the sleep effect he is completely fine.

Squeaver and Mack do their best to finish off E4. The damage they do is just not enough. Mack decides to use Squeaver as s hield as he backs away.

Osul is glad the spell didn't affect him. Although on the bright side, dying in his sleep would have been a peaceful way to go. (Highlight to display spoiler: {You are correct about the length of the lightning bolts. I thought they went all the way to the ground. E2 is at 100ft})

The air elemental moves to flank with E2, provoking an AoO (Hit AC18 for 17pts damage. Not sure the AC or HP of the AE)

Osul flies southwest and calls another lightning bolt.

Atlas continues to taunt the Oni, and his sword cuts as deep as his words.

Armand cast a Holy Smite at E5. It's eyes glaze over for the moment (Blinded for 1 round!)

The enemy act...

E1 grins evilly and walks over to Pym, thrusting his greatsword down through Pym's chest (5ft step north. Deliver coup-de-grace. Pym takes 28pts damage and must make a Fort Save vs DC38 or face Gargul!)

E2 descends and lands near Atlas!

E4 is surrounded. He lashes out at the nearest oppenent and hits them quite solidly (d3=1=Air Elemental. [i]Hit AC34. Crit not confirmed on AC15. AE takes 14pts damage!)

E5 is blind. It remains flying but isn't precisely sure where to attack

E6 laughs as E1 stabs Pym. It walks toward Beordir and attacks! (Hit AC27. Beordir takes 14pts damage!)

Miles nods to Armand and calls out "Concentrate on the nearest Oni. Draw..... LOOSE!" Three arrows are fired at the nearest Oni (E4), dropping it in its track!

One dead, one dying, and two Oni near death. Are our heroes getting the upper hand?

Summoned Medium Air Elemental - Round 6 of 7: hp 1/30 moves around (north and western sides of E6, and passing over Pym) to AD40@+5' to attack E1 {AC21 for 6 damage, again}.

'Osul flies west 30' and down 30' to AD43@+80', and drops another bolt {2 bolts and 65 rounds remain} - on E1 again - for 10 damage {DC20 on Reflex save for half damage}. POINT OF ORDER - I was casting Holy Smite at a location that would affect E5 and waiting on it only if he descended. E1 and E6 were in the blast radius of 20 feet. They both should have taken 24 points damage or 17 if they saved (and avoided being blinded.

DM Rob: It sounds like you were readying an action. A readied action being triggered "if E5 descended". I give you the choice:
a) Your spell went off, E5 took full damage and is blinded for a round
b) E5 stays where is is currently flying, casts a spell against the party, doesn't descend, and you keep your spell.

Robert D says A: Not sure a spell against the party is going to go well and B is not going to save Pym from the coup-de-grace... His only hope is spending hero points right?

Replying to Kero, "Heck yah, it's merely a flesh wound." I practically fall over, then wipe my hand in a bunch of the blood and paint war marks across my cheeks.

Seeing Pym is in serious trouble off in the distance, I look over my not-so-great options quickly.
