Yes Beordir you healed 10 points

Pym Haventhorn (Clint B) AC:23 (T:16, FF:12), CMB 6, CMD:16, HP: -3/35
Monday June 12th, 2017 8:20:16 PM

Pym reaches up to grab his chest where the great sword was plunged through. Nothing is there.

"What.... thats not right."

Looking down to his chest he realized he can see something just below him. It is the scene of his death. The greatsword driven through his small body, then being ripped free with a sickening wet "shink"

Confused and in disbelief Pym drifts towards his body as a pool of blood begins to form below it.

Hello again guys! Rob's work is getting hectic so he asked me to take over for a while. if the last module is any indication your luck should turn for the better with me as DM. the rolls sure seemed to favor you last time. we will see.

Pym The Oni's blade cut deep, deep enough to jerk you out of the sleep spell you were under, you awaken to blood pumping out of a hole in your chest, a great tiredness overtakes you and you fade to unconsciousness. You are at -3 HP and need to stabilize to avoid death Make a DC 10 Constitution check at your current HP to stabilize. you will hemorrhage 1hp per round until you stabilize, any character can make a DC 15 heal check while working on you to stabilize you, a healing spell or potion will stabilize you as well. Armands channel does nicely, you are now conscious and have 7hp.

Mack: with practiced ease you and Squeever run to flank the Oni and both strike the beast
Atlas: goes fully defence with his shield. +4 to AC.
Armand: Your channel brings Pym back from the Dead! Pym, Beordir, Mack, Squeever and yourself all heal 10 hp.
‘Osul: Your air elemental takes one last bash upon the Oni and then is gone with the breeze after the next round,
Boerdir You occupy the 5' square with squeever. you can attack next round.
Kero you charge out of the wagon circle swinging your sword wildly, but there is no enemy near the area you moved to.
Miles directs the three archers he is leading to focus their fire on E1 ...Loose! apparently the dastardly attack on the Downed Pym angered him as well.

E1 The arrows hit the Oni. With a roar of rage it takes to the air and flies quickly to the wagons where Miles is organizing the archers. it lands in the middle of the wagons, but is off by a bit due to the fog, he is unable to attack this round.
E2 fires it's bow at Atlas. but misses badly.
E5 eyes clear it draws an arrow and fires at Armand. It misses clean and hisses in frustration.
E6 Smoothly switches gears from attacking Beordir to attacking Squeever and Mac, With almost preternatural efficiency he hits Squeever for 23 damage and Mac for 24. which puts an end to the sweet flanking maneuver

E1 - AC21 - 81 damage
E2 - AC21 - 17 damage
E3 - AC21 - DEAD
E4 - AC21 - DYING
E5 - AC21 - 47 damage
E6 - AC21 - 27 damage

Armand see's the Oni slash into Mack and the blood fly as he moves to AM 38.

"Gargul aid us in our time of need!"

Channel to heal. Now in range of Mack, Squeaver, Beordir, Pym, Atlas, and self (excluding E5, E6, E2)
Everyone in range heals 21.
(the 5 d6 rolls, because the 1 on roll two is an automatic reroll per house rules)

Armand then burns another hero point this encounter is going to empty my hero points and channels again. This time to damage the evil aligned outsiders. (Feat: alignment Channel).

E2 and E6 are in range, not sure of E5, depends on how much he dropped in height.
Damage 8 (4d6) save 17 for half damage.

Heal, hit to -3, Heal again..... did I heal before I even hit the ground? ;)

Assuming I'm prone, and getting up provokes an AoO which will most likely knock me down again (if not kill me), I choose instead to continue attacking from the ground, so I continue to provide a threat, and thereby, flank with Squeaver and Beordir.

Squeaver and I hold our positions, and continue to flank attack E6.

(flurry of blows: d20+10+2(flank)-4(prone) for each blow, and d4-1 damage+1d6(sneak),
+1 to hit and +1d6 fire damage on first attack from flaming tear
Hit AC 26 for 1+6+2 damage, and Miss AC 16)

+1 to hit and +1d6 cold damage on first attack from frost tear
Hit AC 27 for 2+5 damage, and Miss AC 16 twice)

b]Pym[/b] The save, the channel and the CSW do you a world of good! Around you-you see your teammates fully engaged with the Oni.

Mack: and Squeever dip into negative Hp for a moment, both falling to the ground but the timely channel by Armand gets them both back up into the fight! bing short and not wanting to get hit by an AOO they hug the ground and give new meaning to the term "ankle biter"

Atlas: swings at the Oni, scoring once

Armand: Your channel does the Tree wardens a world of good. while your second channel does the oni a world of hurt.

Osul: BA-BOOM! You hit the Oni square in the Face!

Boerdir that Oni is slippery, he batted your blade away with his back swing as he cut squeever. Note you are still in a flanking position with Squeever and Mack in this positon.

Kero.....

Miles is startled by the oni dropping out of the fog, but he turns smoothly and stabs at it with his sword while calling for his archers to shoot it. between the 4 of them, they put the creature down hard.

[
E2 takes a 5ft step away from Atlas and puts an arrow in him for 15 points.
E5 takes a swing with it's great sword at the air elemental. he hits for 14 points of damage, dispelling the creature.
E6 swings at Beordir but the wily elf avoids both attacks with relative ease.

Let's see, if I'm reading Atlas's stuff right he can take two swings with his longsword and get a shield bash in.

Atlas concentrates on the E2.
He swings his longsword to hit 22 (d20+12 oops singing now that should be 14) hit.
Damage 10 (d8+8)

He swings again with his longsword to hit 26 (d20+8)

OOC umm, E2 is not near Armand he's near Atlas. It does not look like he 5 foot stepped from Atlas as Atlas is still right up on him. Does E2 shooting Armand provoke from Atlas or did you mean to take a 5 foot step from Atlas and shoot him? Kinda like to know where to put damage. Maybe we should make a rule that characters can't have a name starting with the same letter as someone else in the group. :)

"Uggh" Aramand grunts with the impact from the arrow.

Armand raises his crossbow and takes aim at E6.

OOC: As silly as that sounds, Robert D, I like the idea of not having a first name with the same first letter. I've been confused quite a few times on the map due to exactly that! ;)

And maybe mounts, bonded companions, etc., always go by 2 letters on the map. That helps them stick out a little more, too.

Pym is feeling much better, his tenor voice bolsters his friends and his arrow finds it's mark.

Mack: and Squeever You can't keep a good squirrel down, because they are already so low to the ground. close in like this, it's where you need to be to damage the Oni, but it's also the most dangerous place to be, Life on the edge can be like that sometimes.

Atlas: comes into his own, snick snack, his blades flash and cut, but the shield misses.

Armand: It's too bad ranged flanking does not exist, you missed him by thaaat much.

‘Osul: seeing how the last call lightening worked so well, one good turn deserves another.

BoerdirYou still can't hit the Oni, but your presence offers 3 targets to the beast instead of 2, a 33% chance to get attacked is a lot better than 50%

Kero...

Miles LOOSE...the arrows fly at E2 and you notice that these arrows seem more normal than the ones before.

E2 tired of getting poked by Atlas initiates a grapple attempt on him with a roll of 24. (Atlas gets an AOO but gains the grappled condition. )

E5flys back to his buddy E6 and lands in a flank against Beordir. He swings his greatsword once at Beordir and hits for 21 points of damage.

E6 turns to flail at the puny squirrel and halfling cutting his legs, but the loss of blood from a freshly opened vein interrupts his attack as he collapses to the ground.

OOC: Before considering the following I scoured the PFSRD on line and my hardback CR for charging the grappling, and found no indication it would put Atlas at risk.

A rhinoceros appears at AN40:AO41 (and a robust example of ceratorhinity it is! - Augmented Summoning) and immediately squares off and performs a powerful charge 20 feet to E2 (stopping at AQ37:AR38).
'Osul spends a Hero point for a +4 bonus to the charge attack to almost ensure the rhino strikes true. To achieve this he distracts the Oni the one way he has at hand - He drops the final lightning bolt on it - specifically at AT36! (Note, as per the spell: "Any creature in the target square or in the path of the bolt is affected.")
This hopefully distracts the Oni to the tune of 3d6=9 damage {DC20 on Reflex save for half damage}, and the rhino completes his charge finally goring... nothing but air. It sniffs the air - warm breath pouring onto the Oni.

OOC: Hey, for us little people, like Squeaver and I, that get lots of little dinky attacks, +2 to hit and damage on each attack is FANTASTIC!!! :)

occ: I'm back! Thank you so much to those of you that posted for me! I truly appreciate you not getting me killed :-D As for little Castle, he's doing well. He had surgery to address Hirschprung's Disease (the first of 2 he'll need) and he is now home. It was a hard couple of weeks, so thank you all for your patience and support while I dealt with all that!
