The Dragon’s return victoriously to their companions and the Custodian. The Custodian says to the Iron Dragons "Thank you for dispatching the creatures. There is some disturbance happening in their source dimension that is causing their gate to malfunction. This gate can be opened for you but it must be closed again as soon as you are through. The ones you call Dock, Megaman and Chuck have told of why you came here. The Heart of Sin is on the other side and some of the denizens of this dimension are construct based. When you are done with your task simply approach the gate on the other side and it will be opened for you. Perhaps by obtaining the heart of sin the gate will stabilize."
Dock, Megaman, and Chuck greet the group but there is no sign of Agatha.

Garret enjoys the healing.
Wyaar suggests resting first.
Zane suggests finding Agatha
Bosk tries to recall all he knows about the mission, the tower and the gate. He remembers that Gargul revealed that Kevintar had been impersonating him to create the Death Dragon Cult in order to escape. Gargul seeks to release Kevintar before he is ready banking that Marteus would show up and thwart his brother. In order to free Kevintar you need to perform a ritual involving a free willed construct-undead hybrid, 2 free willed undead and 2 free-willed constructs. These beings will either consume or burn five powerful hearts. You have the heart of balance. You need to find the hearts of virtue, sin, order and chaos. You also have 2 ritual participants in the form of Megaman and Dock. You need 1 more construct and 2 undead participants. Lastly the death dragon cult is also looking to acquire the hearts and ritual participants.
Tink makes a wry comment about Agatha
Sesha is a little worried and tries to scry the missing witch. She gets a brief glimpse of a hallway of the same material as other places in the tower before the spell fails. The tower probably has anti-scrying measures throughout.
The custodian says,”You could rest here and now but the one gate is unstable so more creatures could come through. Additionally there is the matter of the others who have entered the bone tower recently who I cannot contain. They may seek the same things you do.”
Megaman looks over the group. ”Wait, Agatha isn’t with you? She said she was going to catch the end of the battle so she could see the monsters.”

"Probably best to push on ahead unless we're at death's door. I've got plenty of firepower left myself."
At Megaman's query, Restlin looks around for Agatha. He makes a mental note about Agatha wanting to "see" the monsters and not "help fight" the monsters. Typical.

She then continues the conversation telepathically with the party: "We should be careful how we speak in front of Dock, Megaman and Chuck. DM Mitch Wednesday January 9th, 2019 8:38:30 AM Restlin suggests pushing ahead and then says he doesn't remember seeing Agatha, asking if anyone else had.
Garret votes for pressing on asking if Tink is ready and reasoning Agatha can look after herself.
Zane argues they are responsible for those with them including Agatha.
Wyaar argues that the Wold comes first and that those with them second.
Tink questions the Custodian, Dock, Megaman, and Chuck about where Agatha went and cautions the party about giving the wrong impression over the rings.
Beri says he isn't concerned about rushing because presumably other would be ritualists need what they've collected. He also queries the Custodian regarding Agatha
Sesha thinks they should spend a few minutes on trying to find her but that if they had to leave her behind Agatha would understand.
Bosk looks for signs of her passing.
The Custodian says, “The location of the one known as Agatha is unknown but she left one of her packs and the servants are bringing it.”
The party spends a few minutes trying to find any signs of where Agatha went. Unfortunately the smooth metal floors and walls don’t really leave anything for the party to track so they have little success. She’s not in any of the nearby rooms.

Tink is in agreement with Restlin - splitting up would be bad.
She gets the impression that the custodian probably knows more than it realises and perhaps it is just waiting for the right question. While waiting for the pack she asks all that come to mind. Not necessarily in quick succession mind you.
"Custodian, are there any other 'beings' in the nearby vicinity? Are your servants aware of anything else unusual near here? Have any servants gone missing? Where was she when you lost track of her? Where could she have gone where you wouldn't be able to detect her? What were her exact words before she left? If she went the way we went, why did we not pass her on our return?"

Tink agrees that splitting up is a bad idea and then asks several questions.
Beri asks some questions regarding the backpack.
Bosk isn’t sure what to do next and asks a question to the party.
Sesha waits for the custodian’s answers.
The custodian says to Wyaar, “The pack was found past the room where you fought in the same hallway.”
The Custodian answers Tink and Beri, “There are no more unusual creatures in the area. No servants have gone missing, she was in the hallway bead where you were. How she is beyond detection is not known. She was not observed to have said anything. Leaving the pack appeared to be intentional. She left shortly after you did.”

Beri has the bag he was curious about and is free to ponder upon what it means.
Restlin is not for splitting the group he’s just pointing out where Agatha went and telling the others to come this way.
The PC check their bags and find that they still have the recovered heart. They set out in search of Agatha and the unseen servants are able to lead them to where the bag was found. Restlin then has a brainstorm and uses his press his luck to find the path Agatha has taken. It’s a little winding and meandering but his luck holds and they find themselves in a large anteroom. Imposing double doors are the centerpiece of the chamber and a large bloodstain in front of it.
The Custodian speaks to the group telepathically. ”You have reached the way that leads further up the tower. The way becomes much more dangerous from there - you can see the cultists have run a fowl of some of the traps along the way. If you continue to pursue your lost friend you will likely have to deal with the defenses and the cultists.”
The party faces a choice - they can continue to pursue Agatha and deal with the cult now, before the cult is able to prepare for their arrival. If they do so then the tower may continue to be flooded with the alien creatures from the portal.
Or they could abandon the search for Agatha and go back to the portals. This will prevent the strange monsters from infesting the tower, but it will give the Cultists more time to prepare for the party and leave Agatha to her fate. Whatever she’s gotten into it was of her own choice and the party cannot complete the ritual without the hearts the Custodian has told them they could find in the portals.

If Agatha knows what she's doing, she may have disabled the remaining traps on her way. And if we wait, who knows what kind of devious trap they will have waiting for us.
Heck, if we finish off the cultists we likely have a safe location to camp out and restore our spells, and can lure the monsters through our own traps before they reach us to help balance out any increase in numbers.

Oh, Custodian, are you able to talk with us still from here? If so, would the room we are going to be safe once cleared out? Or would we be safe from the cultists for a brief rest after we clear out the monsters?

Zane thinks to himself, there's honor and then there's going after someone who's chosen a different path. I guess my form of honor is from my upbringing at the temple orphanage. But I know dividing is foolish, so I'll go with the rest instead of causing a fight over this.... it's just easier and no hard feelings anywhere. I'm not opposed to going after Agatha, but It's her trouble and not mine....

Again, Tink doesn't have strong feelings one way the other on the topic.
