Caelwyn is unable to move close enough to engage, and he is worried about more spiders attacking from behind. He moves closer to his companions in front, looking to help with his trident when possible, but also keeping an eye open for more spiders.

Thorondir has spent so much time in eagle form that movements are second nature for him. He drops towards the spiders, but instead of going in to strike he pulls up and makes some motions with his talons.
Aewen drops fast on the spider at 17I. Talon hit AC 18 damage 4, hit AC 22 damage 3, Bite hit AC 6

'Lil figures Llew can take a few more hits before she needs to worry 'bout healing him. Killing these spiders would do more to save his life than playing catch up while they bite'im.
It's another solid hit, hopefully driving another one off.

AoO if appropriate: Hit AC 23 for 7 damage and AC 20 for 10 damage.
