From a distance, Osul makes out, "___ _____ ________ __ talking, ___ we ____ understand ____ ___ saying!" As the Wardens, minus Neshi, converge on Miles and Folbre, Folbre hearing their arrival, says, "We should find a quiet pace to talk for a moment", and suggests the Triple T which is right next door and currently mostly empty. Miles says he'll alert Neshi and meet them there.
When everyone is present, Miles introduces the guard, "This gentleman it Bryan, and he was stationed at the Tree's offspring. He has an unusual tale, and I'm hoping you can unravel it." "Thank Pantheon your here", Bryan begins, "I'm certain the Tree Wardens can unravel this enigma!" Bryan than says the following:
"I know this may seem odd, but then again we live in the Tree of Parting, so odd is kinda our normal, but the Tree’s Offspring is talking! It’s speaking a language we don’t understand, but it is most definitely talking! I know that some of you may have heard that the Tree’s tree, as we guards call it, randomly made noises that resemble speech, but now there is no doubt that it is trying to communicate! Maybe you guys know the language being used?"

Osul asks Bryan if he could try to emulate some of the words, or inflections pronounced by the Tree's offspring, as Elyngael tries to remember the sound of the words, or more accurately the sounds, she heard in her head, when she last saw the Tree's offspring, but the words, were incoherent, almost like baby talk, back then. With either the use of magic, or their fairly abundant list of known languages, the Warden's are certain they can ascertain what the Tree's Offspring is saying. Vamir sends Melzat ahead just in case, though he is pretty sure this is the first time he has ever heard of a talking tree, but then its sire is The Tree of Parting, so unusual is to be expected. Owen decides that his family should see a talking tree, which I agree would be something to behold if true.
Bryan tries his best to emulate what the talking tree is saying, and even though linguistics is not his forte, it seems familiar, maybe Sylvan or Elven. It would be hard to say for sure without hearing it yourselves.
Folbre says, "Why don't you guys head out to the Tree's Offspring, Miles and I need to stay here, as we don't want to cause a commotion during the festivities, if there is no need, and I feel you are better equipped to deal with this situation anyway. I ask that you act nonchalant, and maybe leave the festival in a natural fashion, as though you were just heading home for whatever reason, no more than two at a time, taking different routes, again I don't want undue alarm to ruin this much-needed and well-deserved celebration.

Now that all the books I've been collecting have been transferred and added to what the guild has here I guess I should find a new purpose for that room." Armand will then wander off as though in deep thought making his way out of the celebratory area. If anyone tries to stop him he will mutter, "Perhaps an archery range, maybe subdivide it and make it a fit apartment for Owen and his family." and then keep walking as though he hadn't heard or seen the person trying to engage him. Once away from everyone he will cast Air Walk on himself, and step off the tree and down into foliage as he makes his way toward the sapling.

This is how Jerry and Cazyle explained it to me: In the Wold, there is no one fey realm per say, but a multitude of pocket dimension fey realms, with the exception of the Wold's Cradle, which was Eberyon's creation predating the Wold, and as such, is not a pocket dimension. It is a physical location, but due to the fact that it is under the Wold, which is a flat planet, extra dimensional travel such as a plane shift spell ECT, is required to get there. So basically it is both a physical location, and an extra dimensional plane all at once. I hope that makes sense, as I'm not sure how to explain it better.

Vamir sleeps soundly on the ground, confident Melzat will wake him if there appears to be trouble. The witch wakes before dawn and stretches, "Morning Melzat, how are you buddy?" Vamir nods to anyone else in the area before stretching and beginning his preparations for the day. Vamir carefully draws Woldsblood into the Wold to replenish his spells (Concentration 37 pass). Feeling the magic roll through his veins Vamir begins his rituals (Ritual of Warding 26 pass Ritual of Spiritual Healing 31 pass). Finishing up the witch smiles and bows slightly to the south.
Ritual of Warding (Survival) Success: The coven gains a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws. Failure: The coven suffers a -1 penalty on saving throws vs spells.
Ritual of Spiritual Healing (Heal): Success: All cure spells cast by the coven are more effective; coven members roll d12’s for Cure Wounds spells instead of d8’s. Failure: The coven rolls d6’s instead of d8’s when casting cure spells.

The heroes decide to leave at first light. Osul would like to escort Longbranch to the border of the Culverwood, and even though Longbranch says it isn't needed, he welcomes the company. He admits that he isn't certain about how the day cycles compare to the Wold, but because it is attached to the Wold, or more accurately, the Wold is attached to it, he assumes the cycles would be similar in the Wold's Cradle. Everyone except Vamir and Melzat head back to the Tree to re-equip with Elyngael buying some arrows special for the occasion (Because they are non-magical they can be purchased from the Fletcher, at the Tree. Lorifir Lorhalien - Male Elf, runs the Fletcher) Some of the heroes, perhaps all, spend the night with Longbranch, and the night passes without incident.
In the morning, Those who slept at the Tree rise before dawn and meet the others and Longbranch just as the sun is rising. Watching a Tree uproot itself is a thing to behold, and as Longbranch prepares to leave, he does just that. It takes a minute or two, but the Wardens watch in amazement as all of Longbranch's roots exit the soil, and then wind together to form two massive cables, that function like legs, with a mass of roots flaring from the ends that function like feet. As he walks, the root masses actually embed themselves into the soil temporarily with each step, giving Longbranch a very stable gait.
The trip to the border of the Culverwood passes without any confrontations, and though it is now late afternoon, Longbranch informs you that he intends to travel through the night, as he doesn't require the same rest as humanoids do. As a parting gift, Longbranch offers the Warden's a one foot long, one inch thick stick, with instructions that when they are ready to return, all they have to do is snap the stick in two, and a vortex will open to bring them back to the Wold. He says, "I know you have the magical means to come home on your own, but this way you don't have to waste your magic."
Longbranch's leaves begin to flutter in what appears to be an almost spiral pattern, and what appears to be a multicolored, swirling tube appears on the ground in front of him. Longbranch says farewell, as the Wardens, one by one, step into the vortex. the trip through the vortex is like the most extreme water slide, without the water, you can imagine, twisting and turning, doing corkscrews and flips, until finally you are ejected into an unfamiliar place. Upon arrival in the Cradle the Wardens find themselves in what resembles a temperate rainforest. There is a light mist in the air, and the Wardens notice that the colors seem much more vibrant than they are used to. The browns are somehow browner, the greens greener, and the sky's the bluest blue imaginable. To the best of your knowledge, it is about the same time here as it was when you left the Wold.

Armand takes the proffered stick and tucks it into his efficient quiver. "Thank you. Safe journeys." he says to Longbranch.
Once vortexed, Armand looks around, wondering how this forest compares to the Culverwood. in other words are the tree's bigger, does it seem more primordial, etc. He looks around trying to size things up. Perception 22 (d20+7)

Owen lands with a thud and looks around amazed at the forest, and gasps audibly at the scenery. Owen looks around, " Well what direction do we need to go?"
