Sid shakes his head, "Stock if you're that bored after an hour of tea I don't even know what to do with you. Maybe we could start a 'Wrastling' group for you or something."
Sid also goes down to help Stohp by doing a thorough check through stinky room into scroll room.
((To clarify Sid is specifically looking for any scrolls or paperwork, damaged or whole, that might help make sense of this.))
DM MikeK - Scanning some scrolls Sunday December 6th, 2020 6:25:57 PM
The contents of the scroll provide answers and questions. And some choices, as some of the Shields fall into a discussion about which of the four options is most desirable.
First thing on the agenda, most agree, is to head back to the scroll room and see if there is more information to be had.
Stohp and Sid and Micah pull out the 20 odd scroll cases, and quickly scan the contents, just to get an idea of what they contain.
Quite a few appear to make up a comprehensive treatise on unique monsters/creatures of the Wold. It'd take a least a week to read, but for anyone interested in monsters of the Wold, its practically priceless.
The rest appear to be research documents used to build this demi-plane. Unlike the monster treastise, these were not meant for publication, and are composed of a great deal of shorthand, obscure references, and the like. It would take a great deal of time to get even a fraction of an idea of how he did it. But, it is apparent Caerylon built this place, with a significant contribution from Caeroldra herself.
There is also a map of the zoo....
There are 12 pavilions, 6 on each side of the central building. From north to south they are:
A - Tall Men-Sargrass..........B - Empty C - Wasp-Great Prairie........D - Winter Wolves-Ice Vein E- Dragon Turtle-Turtle Lake...F - Clockwork Automatons-Plateau City

"Weren't they 'Tall Men'?" Sid replies to Stohp, pocketing all of the woldian monster scrolls into the group's bag. Sid's eyes narrow, "Man, he took a Trent from the Culver? Elf had no respect..." he then reads the 'Fey King Avatar -Aisildur' and whispers, "no respect at all."

Or, do we leave them here to face what ever is eating away at this place?" Bartomus was still a bit focused on what the Shields needed to do with the zoo's populous. When Sid mentioned aloud "Fey King Avata - Aisildur," Bartomus looked over.
"So wait one of Lord Eberyon's most chosen is here? Shouldn't we see if there could be a win-win there? Help them out of here, and they help us with all of this?"
Not sure what skill - so just throwing a d20 as Knowledge Geo/Float/Nature doesn't seem right == 2 yep, no clue on who that is, lol.
Stock (JonM) HP: 106/111; AC: 23/21/14; DR 2/-; CMD: 30; Rage: 7/26 used Monday December 7th, 2020 10:14:47 AM "Nah Bart. I think we have to destroy all exhibits to prevent them from breaking into the Float...either that or break the gateway to The Float. It feels slightly evil but falls under the lesser of two evils for me rather than just unleashing a bunch of bees on an unknown part of the Great Prairie...of course it doesn't say that destroying the exhibits actually destroys the things in the exhibits...it might just set everything free at once."
"[b]...and an Avatar of The Fey King...I'll follow your lead on that one. Seems like it might be important to handle separately...To the Bloodgrass first though?"
Zanderallen (Zachary H) 102/104 AC: 29 T: 13 FF: 28 CMD: 24 Monday December 7th, 2020 10:29:18 AM
Zanderallen's head is swimming at the list of creatures contained in the exhibits and the implications of the choice in front of them. "Most of the exhibits here I would be in favor of releasing back to where they came, even if they are dangerous they would be natural dangers of that area. But a kraken into Rum City, or Rakshasa into Dirt City both sound like terrible ideas. And I don't even know what to do about a Fey King. But I guess first things first, let's go get that key from the Bloodgrass Trolls. That sounds like lot's of fun." Zanderallen prepares himself for a tough fight and is ready to head to Building J.
Micah is absorbed in the massive amount of information available. When the others mention going to the bloodgrass exhibit, he pulls himself out of the books to comment, "I am not sure that we will be able to just recover the key, trolls or not. The stasis field may prevent us from affecting what is inside. But it may be best to see what we have to deal with before we spend anymore time in research. That way, if it is required, we may have a better idea of what to look for."
As they move that way, Micah reviews with the others what they recall about trolls and creatures affected by the bloodgrass mutation, so that they can prepare along the way.
