He investigates the signs of the battle and removes some arrows from the trees before trying to figure if it anything magical is involved. Zazu suggests setting watches and camping overnight. He asks Náro to help. Lothlo suggests retreating a bit before resting in case patrols come out near the entrance.
Ash heals Zazu as the party makes camp. In the morning she checks over the rest of the party and notes how some appear stronger as she chalks it up to the forest. She guesses the remains belong to would-be tomb raiders but it is just speculation.
Naithi manages to find as many berries as she needs with Zazu’s help.
OOC: We'd discussed watch orders and marching orders some time back. I added them to the bottom of the Culver wiki page. We never agreed a marching order though. Anyone have preference
Naithi and Beech go over the scene. Most of the gear is ruined beyond repair either by combat or time but Beech finds some magic gear and other things that are worth picking up. Whatever happened here it was long enough ago that the bodies have been reduced to bones. They were evidently fighting some large beast judging from the claw marks, and the arrows and signs of battle leave off away from the entrance, indicating the fight either started here and moved elsewhere or started elsewhere and moved here.
Claw marks in the stone steps leading down indicate whatever they were fighting either entered or exited the dungeon.

She wonders if anyone can use the stuff they found. Beech picks out a few useful things. Zazu talks about marching order and how best to deal with the loot.
It looks like it has been a while since the tracks were made (survival will let you determine how old the corpses and other marks are). You are still free to take whatever precautions you feel you need, though you rested before you got here so should be as prepared as you’re going to be.

Beech agrees to trudge most of it along, he may not be the strongest, but with four feet he can carry much more than some of the others. If he carries most of the found loot, he'll keep the stuff he understands in easier to get to places... Having rested only a few hours ago, "Are you wanting to create a base camp or something to explore from? Or do you want to rest up until tomorrow and start early morning? If we are exploring underground ruins, I don't see why the surface time would matter to anything we run into down there."

If we are going to stay here and rest, I recommend those with any skill in it set up some traps around the camp and at the exit.

As the party have already rested Ash is ready to get moving.
It certainly wouldn't hurt to make some sort of trap or alarm at the entrance to the stairway, just to be safe.

Náro agrees that they should try their luck in the early morning as it would be easier if something chased them out.
Lothlo surveys the area for signs of recent activity and to get a feel for how long the bodies were there.
Niall suggests they set up shop where they are to recover used healing and wait until first light to head down.
Naithi recommends they make traps if they are going to camp. (OOC: You can use craft untrained, it probably wouldn’t be too hard to whip up a simple snare or noise trap.)
Ash is ready to get moving but reasons it isn’t a bad idea to make some traps just in case.
Since the party already rested they are fully prepared and it’s already morning. Examining the tracks and traces indicate that they are at least a few weeks old. Whatever was fought here has been hiding inside since.
Well rested and with plenty of daylight in case they need to retreat the party heads down. The stairs down lead to a hallway which then leads to a natural cave lit by an unnatural pale blue glow. There doesn’t seem to be anything of interest otherwise, just a bunch of stalactites and stalagmites. Notably, there doesn’t seem to be an exit, just the hall you came down from.
Then a haunting melody begins to echo through the cave. A faint mist appears and in it indistinct forms mill about. They’re small, about the size of a halfling, but clearly not halflings or any other species you’ve seen though details are hard to make out. They move with incredible speed as they begin tearing down the hallway you came through.
In seconds where once a clear hall stood is now nothing more then another part of the cave. An identical hallway has been built in the wall to the north, left of the direction you entered from and now the sole exit from the room.
The music stops and the ghostly figures vanish as quickly as they appeared.

Zazu's first thought is that this is an illusion. If the elf has the chance, maybe disbelief or toss a pebble through. Or failing that, maybe Spellcraft or Know Arcana to recognize a magical effect?

Ash stays towards the back of the group. She's far too squishy to stand face-to-face with any threats. That half-orc was proof of that!
She takes out the glove gifted to the party by the fey and places it on her hand. Ash then reaches down to touch the floor to leave a pale blue handprint. "In case we need a trail back" she explains "I get the impression it will be easy to get lost down here".
Ash thinks back over her teachings to try and recall anything about misty non-halflings and then casts a few spells to help the party.
She casts two message spells to allow the party to whisper to each other at a distance, just in case. After that she casts a Detect Magic spell and concentrates on her surroundings. She concentrates to keep the spell active as she walks along with the party.
