A slight breeze swirls around Kiwina and the dead merrow next to him, perhaps speaking a language known to the air. As Rolth hugs Elyas, a dolphin leaps into the water and swims after the retreating merrow. Not that it will mean anything now, but Kiwina had invoked the spirits. (Summon Nature's Ally I)
"Yes, thanks Elyas. And thanks Mak for some well-placed shots." Kiwina still feels pummelled, despite Rolth's healing. He casts cure light wounds on himself.
"At least they didn't seem to be fanatical cultists," he laughs to himself.

Mak looked at his quiver and saw that only six arrows remained, so he reached into his pack to gather up some more to refill it. As he did so he called back down to Kiwina. "Being safe up here in the crows nest helped a bit though I'd not have traded places with you old bean. We do seem to have sorted that lot."
OOC: Not sure if the command to come about was followed....if so.
"We should get back underway captain. Those watery scabs might return with friends." he helps the others clear out the bodies, taking the jewelry from them. Elyas casts detect magic on them to see if any of the rings are magical, or if any other items that may have been overlooked are magical in nature
DM Dan - The Merrow Battlespace Tuesday March 23rd, 2021 7:55:21 PM Tsak Rezar Elyas looks for magical loot. Rolth Niheow attempts to heal the party Kiwina heals himself further Falco Ambersier Mak suggest moving on.
A quick glance over the rings with a magical eye reveals that they are indeed magical, they have a faint aura around them, which looks the same in each case, so if you manage to identify one, you'll know what they all do.
The crew helps you deal with the bodies of the Merrow that are left behind, and try to clean up the deck now that it's slick with blood, which Yuria helps with. Despite being close to as highborn as Liontaur's get, she seems not to be afraid to get her hands dirty. Caliphon spends time repairing the side of the boat where there are some slight gouges, and helping Mak with his arrows, reflecting them/crafting more with the minimal materials he has on hand.
The rest of the day passes by without incident, and it is nice to be in the sun and with the cool waters around you, but you are making good time towards your destination.

Mak has the right of it, though. Best to get moving once the dead merrow are off the ship, before their attackers could find reinforcements. They can worry about further cleaning along the way.
