Stohp runs up....unfortunately you say you move to AO/AP 24/25 next to the dragon orc, the dragon orc is at V32, O is Ohen. Bartomus whirlwinds What size air elemental are you? I currently have you occupying large space, not sure if you are medium or huge, your header doesn't give me an indicaiton, nor do you have any sort of indications in your text field. Stock attacks the orcs (I'm assuming you start with #6, it takes all 4 hits to put him down, and I admit the forth hit was grand overkill because at that point he had less than 10 hp but was still alive). Micah casts on Stock and moves. Delia positions herself and readies an attack....and shoots W1. Ohen shifts and does some casting, target is 20 feet up, and he's barely in the range if you go with the 50 foot radius effect circle thing, I'm going to say he's just out of range of the sphere spell, the blindness does reach him...unfortunately once he casts he identifies himself to the orcs with readied actions and instructions to kill the caster. Zanderallen goes on the warpath.

Stohp moves up and successfully grapples 15.Although what you're going to do with him I don't know, because they are not designed to surrender. Micah scans the battlefield. Both the witches are 20 feet high Stock moves in on W2 I track 35 feet horizontal and 20 foot vertical, you can make it easy. and gives him such a whack. Bartomus moves away and then casts some healing on himself cause casting next to someone provokes Zanderallen smacks on the half dragon, and can tell he's hurting him. Certainly didn't help that he was hit by a nasty double fireball. Ohen exits the cloudkill spell and casts a nasty spell at W2. Delia moves away, but still provokes an AOO, Also AN32 is occupied space, you can't go there. putting you at AP33 so you're not right next to the grappled orc. Holding action, as he leaves her sight she fires, but he was not casting yet so...

Well that didn't last long but hey it stalled the orc. Now she's stuck fighting two which is never good. She moves 10 feet north to deny the flank and whips out her flail to disarm 1 (22 to disarm).

If he was thinking clearly, Stock would be confused by three things. First: why did that orc just turn into a sloth? Second: why can that sloth fly? Third: why is that sloth looking at me like that? Since he is very much not thinking clearly though, he instead goes for the direct response to the sloth's glare and pounds it.

Micah watches as Ohen and Stock deal with the enemies near them. Not being able to see how Zanderallen is faring, but noting that his friends on this side of the cloud are taking some damage, he decides to provide them some healing.
"Ezer," Micah addresses his shield, "If you please, I would like the option of enhanced movement." The shield responds by casting expeditious retreat on Micah.
The priest then moves to get in range of Bartomus, walking around orc 10 counting on his spell to protect him. Once close enough to the druid, Micah selectively channels healing energy, excluding any of his wounded foes. [i][I think none are wounded, but Micah can select out four.][i]

Bartomus changed back into his regular taur self and felt a burst of warmth course through him and realized that someone had healed him. He turned about trying to see who it might have been, but instead saw an orc heading for Stohp.
He pulled out his potion drinking it and ran to where he had that orc (Orc12) and another in a perfect line (Orc15).
He smiled and belched forth lightning in a straight bright line.

Zanderallen momentarily glares back at the shaman as he dips, twists, parries, and blocks the hail of incoming blows. The pain of the orc's swing quickly recedes as the divine energy of Micah's channel soothes it away. She quickly assesses the consequences of keeping out her bow versus her sword and decides it's probably worth it to take an AoO for the increased damage.

Stohp moves 10 feet, provoking AOO, from 1, and attempts to disarm, but fails (their CMD is 24) Stock makes sloth stew, pulverized for quick cooking, actually your first hit more than kills it so give yourself a free movement next round. Micah's shield vibrates on his arm, is this the thrill of battle?, he moves and channels some healing. Zanderallen kills the dragon/orc with his first swing, all three other swings will hit orc 2 (I took the average of swing 2 and 4 for 3's total, you put him at -2 so he's dead too). With a lot less Orcs threatening him Zanderallen has the reflexes to caught the brunt of the explosions with his shield, the rest gets adsorbed by the layer of magic guarding him from fire. With nothing but soot to show for having been in the double explosion Zander turns to the last Orc next to him and hopes to finish him off. Delia also winces at the sound of Stock's flail connecting with the orc attacking her and, despite the mess it probably caused, gives him a quick nod before turning her bow on #12.
After her first shot ends up in the orc's neck, she glances around the battlefield for another target. Seeing no other targets, her eyes linger on #1 for a moment before she relaxes her grip, accepting Stohp's prisoner taking ways.

Zanderallen starts swinging on his opponent, not realizing that he'd killed him with the first blow. Bartomus continues his attack on the orc. Delia puts an arrow into Bartomus's orc, stealing the kill. Ohen walks (didn't give me a location, so I just moved you 30x2).

Malici straightens up and holds the 1/4 medallion piece overhead. His hand comes forth with his portion of the medallion. He brings his hands together. This time there is first a very audioble whomp like when a large door slams shut in a room and the sound of the air suddenly being compressed is heard, Then ther is a there is a blinding flash of light accompanied by a crackle that many of you have heard before when someone casts lighting bolt.
Zanderallen and Ohen please make a fortitude save dc 20 or be knocked prone.
Everyone else also please make a Perception check of 5 to see the tree at W/X, 31/32 sway and shake and have many tree limbs blow off and toward you, also some flying bits of bark.

Zanderallen sees Malici grab the new medallion piece, time seems to slow as he too late sees him already pulling out the other part. He starts to speak, "I don't know if.....", when Malici joins the two pieces. His body already tensing he manages to stay on his feet in the face of the shock wave that slams into him. Averting her eyes from the magical flashbang, Delia will reflexively slap the orc trying to stand up with her longsword that she drew last round (switched longbow to off-hand and drew longsword as part of move).
She warily moves to AA37, sheathing her sword again and flipping her bow back into her main hand. She will watch Malici for any changes in demeanor or seeming injury.

Ohen is fairly certain he's never seen or heard the likes of this before. It's almost as if the magical energy released targeted the vegetation more than you humanoids.
When the magic clears you see Malici lying prone. His fists are clenched and it appears his eyes are squeezed shut. Perception 20 Highlight to display spoiler: {you can tell his jaw is clenched.} Since Ohen already rolled he can look.
Healing 20 Highlight to display spoiler: {you can tell his breathing is rapid and shallow, as if a person were under stress or duress.}
Sense Motive 20 Highlight to display spoiler: {things seem amiss, but you're not sure what's up} Delia can't look yet because she was far away from Malici and the tree would have blocked LOS.
Knowledge Arcane 20 Highlight to display spoiler: {That was some cool never before seen magic, it didn't cause any damage to you humanoids, but it did hit all the trees in a 50 foot radius.}
There appears to be a lot of equipment lying around. The dragon/orc's double headed axe is still flaming so you're reasonably sure that's magical.

Micah takes a quick survey of Malici's condition. Seeing signs that he is under some form of duress and fearing it might be more than just physical, the priest moves next to him and casts protection from evil on the unconscious half dragon, his concern clearing shown by the expression on his face. Only after he removes his hand from the subject of his spell, does he realize he subconsciously moved into a flanking position with Zanderallen.

Delia continues to move so that she can see Malici (T36), though shooting him a concerned glance, she sees Micah tending to him and decides she won't add any useful help to him. She whistles to Hawky now that combat is over and instructs him to Watch for any outside danger.
Noting Ohen's remark on the nature of the blast, she will examine the tree she's next to (U36/V37).

Bartomus asks what happened, the sum not the explain version. Stohp looks around for more enemies. Micah casts a spell....hero point for Micah, I had not thought of that spell but it would be effective for what's going on. Zanderallen calls out an explanation to Bartomus, "Malici joined the final piece of the medallion and something exploded. Malici is down and something seems off." Ohen comments on the strange magic, and remembers that at one point this portion of the forest was sentient and not happy with any non plant life. Delia sets Hawky to guard and examines the tree. ___________
Stohp can't see any moving enemies. She does note that there's a lot of loot lying around where all these orcs dropped.
Delia can see that a good portion of the tree's around Malici seem to have looked like they were at ground zero to a small tornado. Bark is ripped off on all sides facing Malici in a 50 foot radius. All branches of the tree right next to them below 30 feet have been blown off, and those up to 50 foot have had all their leaves blown off. The other nearby tree's have similar problems but only half as high up. Hawky doesn't see any more enemies.
Those next to Malici can hear him muttering through clenched teeth. He is speaking in Draconic, (I think Micah had cast comprehend language on two of you... Micah watches as Malici struggles, momentarily looking up to Zanderallen, silently imploring him to provide a translation. Micah turns his gaze back when he hears the name of his master on the lips of the struggling sorcerer.
When Malici expresses his thanks, Micah nods silently and rests a hand comfortingly on his shoulder. Gently he says, [b]"When you are ready, please explain what just happened so that we all understand what threat we are facing."

Zanderallen softly translates Malici's statements, real concern on his face at whatever the half-dragon is going through. He kneels down next to him as he struggles to find anyway to help. He offers a hand to help Malici to his feet when the half-dragon is ready to stand again.

Bartomus suggest a funeral pyre for the orcs, fortunately there is now plenty of kindling and wood lying about. Stohp agrees and separates the loot from the orcs as the piling begins. Stock drags the unconscious orc over, asking what's to be done with him. Micah asks Malici what's going on. Zanderallen translates what Malici was saying. Ohen? Delia? ______________________________
Malici says, "Thank you both." as he gets to his feet. He then attempts to explain, wait Bartomus said there's no time for that, so he sums up. "When the medallion was made whole there was the completion of what I can only assume were several spells. I felt myself before my father, but there was no physical being, only a sort of powerful presence. It seemed like he was trying to force his will upon me to become ruler of ... all? ... it's a bit fuzzy. I was resisting him but it seemed like a stalemate. Toward the end I felt him almost be pleased? I'm not sure, then Micah cast his spell and the presence faded."

Stohp considers. "So we've united the coin, but we're still being directed somewhere. Presumably wherever this coin would be used to do... whatever the dragon intended. Micah listens to Malici, concern clearly displayed upon his face. When the sorcerer points, he does not look away from him; rather he asks, "Something else? What do you mean? Is this something the medallion is indicating?"
He surveys Malici further, checking for wounds or any other signs of duress.

She requests to add the arrows to her collection, both magical and non.
"Once it's been verified that there's no more danger here, she carefully doesn't look at Malici, "I can run back to the ship, if I have a little direction on where y'all left it. I... I would request that we rest before we make it to wherever the medallion wants us to be. Not sure how long it's been since I slept."

Zanderallen nods at Stock and with an apologetic cough at Malici, quickly detects evil surveying the half-dragon. He stops his scan the moment he confirms there are no evil presences, "Sorry, Malici. Just have to be sure it's you."
"Let's get all the loot gathered, we can stow the heavy stuff on the ship and then head off towards wherever the medallion is pointing now."

Bartomus asks about sending word to the captain and disposition of the non magical goods. Stohp is worried what evil ends the coin will lead to. Stock wants another detect evil on Malici, and volunteers to fetch the boat. Micah checks over Malici to see he is not wounded in any way. Delia helps gather wood and suggests that she get the boat, and you rest before setting out again. Ohen congratulates Micah's quick thinking. Zanderallen casts detect evil and finds no evil. __________
Malici smiles at Bartomus, "Well I don't know how far only that it's that way." At Stohp's comment Malici's smile fades, and in reply to both Stohp and Micah he says. "I too, but I'm hoping in some way it could lead us to my father's treasure. I'd been able to ascertain that it was not recovered at his death." Malici laughs at Stock's comment. "By all means, I hope I'm not evil. Can you tell if you're evil if you're not doing evil things? Does someone realize they are doing an evil act or is it normal for them?"
The wood is gathered and I'm assuming lit, so that soon there is a roaring bonfire. The boat is fetched and lands just north of the bonfire, call it 60 feet or so. That's quite the stench of burning orc floating into the air. Anyone want to find some aromatic branches to throw in there?
Back on board the boat, you tote your still unconscious orc, and the loot. Malici asks "What are you doing with him?" He pauses and then asks, "Don't you guys normally look over the magical gear before you pack it up?"
