(We’re switching DMs, so please be patient as your DM clarifies a few things.)
Elyas carefully examines the door. While he sees no obvious traps or runes on the door, he can tell that what looks like a wooden door is actually just an illusion of a wooden door! Wil looks for a way to stop the portcullis from closing further. Kiwina looks for a way to stop the spiked wall from advancing. Rolth and Tsak look at the shadowy forms, and almost like a bad dream the forms evaporate into nothing. (Just to be clear, there are no shadows there in that central room. They did not reappear at this time.) Falco thinks quickly and remembers he has a crowbar in his Efficent Quiver. He grabs it and shoves it in to jam the portcullis from closing further. Mak makes sure the dagger is jammed in as well and pulls out another to help.
The portcullis is effectively held. Between two daggers, a crowbar, and your efforts it stays held about 5 feet off the floor. (It takes a DC 25 strength check to open it and to hold it, but it seems like these implements held in place would be effective. You think you could pound them in place to keep them there.)
As the spiked wall grates across the room, you see it move through the wooden sarcophagus, shattering it to pieces. You can also see there was a minotaur skeleton in the thing, which is also broken up as the pieces are pushed toward the now trapped Elyas.
To those in the hallway, as it moves past the entry Elays disappears from sight and it appears as if the wall is part of a rather large block of stone that now grates past them.
Elyas floats in the air above a pit. He sees the room where he is go dark as the spiked stone wall cuts off the light from the hallway. He still hears the grating sound and the last he saw, the spike wall was pressing toward him, moving about 10’ per round. Does he have another light source?
The Earth Elemental stands in the hallway for now, holding a silver circlet. I moved him to Elyas, for reasons outlined below.
----------------------------------- A minor clarification - the Earth Elemental will only obey the one that summoned it. Summoned creatures are not happy to be there, and while they will obey the summoner they do so under duress. Also, a summoned creature will follow the summoner and attack their opponents. Instructing it to take actions byond this, including telling it not to attack your opponents, requires that you speak its language. So in the future, unless Elyas knows Terran, a summoned Earth Elemental will simply stay with him and defend him.

Mak didn't want to abandon Elyas and was content to sit a while and wait on the crafty mage. He suspected the man had a way out of the room, or a plan to get out of the room. There was also the pit that he himself would have used to escape the crushing wall. Elyas in flight would be able to hover over the floor of that pit without touching the bottom and whatever was down there that the wall would have pushed them into.
"Elyas has got this." Mak said. "We just need to give him a minute." and then he was visible again.

For Elays: Highlight to display spoiler: {As Elyas floats above the pit, his insight pierces the illusion and he sees the wispy appearance of a wood door overlain on the carved stone of the wall. For the others, the metal portcullis is being held up - as long as you hold the daggers and crowbar jammed into it. You might be able to pound them in to make it permanent, but you know that if you let go of your tools right now the portcullis will fall.

He shakes his head and goes back to examining the door. turns out it is just a solid wall after all. oh well, worth checking I suppose He thinks, then looks back in time to see his elemental pass through the wall.
Elyas looks towards where he came from, visualizing the hallway with the Petals and shifts briefly onto another plane and back into the material plane back where he started.
If for some reason that doesn't work (he already teleported in this tomb, but maybe something is different in this room) he will fly downward into the spike pit, hovering above the spikes but below where the wall would crush him.

Mak nodded as he held the dagger in one hand and the ball of the morning star in the other and drove the dagger deeper into the crevice he'd found to jam it up. "Elyas was looking to see if the door inside could be opened."
The Wooden Sarcophagus (DM Mark) MAP d20=2 Thursday September 9th, 2021 12:55:10 PM Mak asks for a hammer to pound the dagger in place, and uses Rolth’s Morningstar to do so. Kiwina Trusts that Elyas has things in hand. Rolth is not so sure about Elyas. As he watches the stone continue to slide past, he notices something of a repeating pattern to the stone - nothing worked, it just starts to look the same as it grinds past the entryway. Tsak waits, as does Falco. Wil replies to unheard voices - at least unheard by the others. Elyas eventually pops back into the hallway just before the metal spikes in the wall would have pierced his flesh.
Mak is pretty sure the dagger will hold the portcullis. But having been pounded in with a morningstar it’s not really useful as a dagger now.
About the time Elyas appears in the hallway, the stone stops moving across the entryway. A couple rounds after Elyas appears in the hallway, the Earth Elemental starts to emerge from the sliding stone face closing off the entryway. It sees the hallway is crowded and it avoids the half-closed portcullis as it earthglides down to reemerge in the hallway next to Elyas holding a silver circlet. (How long will the elemental be around?)
It occurs to Elyas that it had to avoid the metal portcullis, ducking under it as it tried to enter the hallway, but seemed to have ignored the metal spikes in the advancing wall as the wall simply moved past the elemental earlier.
A couple rounds more and the now still rockface covering the entryway simply vanishes - it doesn't move, it just disappears. The portcullis grinds upward, and Mak’s dagger remains pounded into the wall. It might catch the thing if it fell again, or it might get sheared off by the metal portcullis. You also hear another grating sound as the pit in the room closes again.
Peering into the room, things are much as you found them. Directly across from the entry is an inscription on the wall scrawled in archaic Taur, “Let the chips fall where they may.” The wall to the left has the outline of a doorway in the middle of it. The wall to the right is covered in small 1 inch diameter holes. In the middle of the room is a large wooden sarcophagus, the top of which now lays on the floor and is inscribed with a forest of trees. A large intact minotaur skeleton is lying in the sarcophagus.
Which is a bit odd, as you remember seeing the sarcophagus and skeleton destroyed by the advancing wall.
(I advanced the scene about 5 rounds or so. Let me know if you did anything in the interim. No need to go round by round for now - just let me know what you do if you stay here.)

Kiwina wonders about the carved door and asks Elyas to check out the silver circlet. Wil speculates about things in the room. Falco remains a bit unsure about the whole thing. In addition, Elyas can tell it has a special property in this room such that anyone holding it may make a DC 20 check to see through illusions in this room without actually interacting with the illusion.}
Using Detect Magic in this room, you will learn the entire room radiates abjuration magic, likely associated with a magical trap, and the circlet is a point source of transmutation magic. You do not detect any illusion magic at this time, though you might discern the lingering effects of illusions here. You also determine there is a mechanical aspect to the magical trap, and this triggered the portcullis to fall. You might also surmise that the magical trap triggered an illusory block of stone to move with illusory metal spikes, and the illusion of a wooden door where one is inscribed on the north wall. Elyas already determined that the north wall has no actual door.
There is a separate mechanical trap associated with the floor at the north end of the room such that when 400 pounds or more are placed there, the floor swings down revealing a spiked pit 30’ below.
The wooden sarcophagus lies open. The top is carved in the shape of trees, and anyone examining the trees on the sarcophagus can make a DC 20 Perception check: Highlight to display spoiler: {Among the trees you see a hidden message in taur that reads, “The talisman of Cestus is the beginning of intellect and influence.”} There is an ordinary minotaur skeleton inside. He takes off his old headband and stashes it in his bag, then puts on the Headband of Mental Prowess and begins searching the room again. can someone help me open the trapdoor again? I want to get a look at the spikes
Perception check = 23!
[ooc: I'm assuming perception? the spoiler said a DC 20 check, but not what kind. also, what skills are tied to the INT bonus of the headband?]

Rolth hears Elyas' request and moves over next to the pit lid, grasps the wall, and uses a paw or two to put sufficient pressure to push down the lid. He'll hold it there while Elyas or others explore below.
The Wooden Sarcophagus (DM Mark) MAP Monday September 13th, 2021 12:02:39 PM Kiwina and Rolth are to see the text hidden in the leaves of the sarcophagus. Kiwina tries to puzzle out how the room works as Rolth moves in. Elyas seems rather excited about this circlet. He removes his own and places this new one on his head. As he does so, he also learns wearing the circlet grants him +2 to Diplomacy and Insight. (Unfortunately, this is only a temporary bonus until Elyas has worn it for 24 hours. He also looses the bonus spell and skill granted by the headband he removed, and will not gain bonus spells and skills from this headband until after 24 hours.) Tsak stands guard, but sees no threats at this time. Wil stands ready and whistles to pass the time.
Some in the party move into the room.
After experimenting with the elements in the room, the Petals confirm what Kiwina thought. Replacing the lid on the wooden sarcophagus and then removing it triggers the trap in this room. The metal spikes and the wall that begins to move are indeed illusory, and on a successful save DC 25 Will save (DC 20 for Elyas) you can see through and move through this illusion as it proceeds. Since one person saving and alerting the others will add to their save, everyone should be safe from the illusion within a few rounds.
It appears as a metal spiked block of stone that will eventually fill this room, moving about 10’ per round. The illusion even includes the false destruction of the sarcophagus and skeleton. This trap also includes the illusion of a wooden door on the north wall to draw those trapped to the pit, and the pit opens up once more than 400 pounds of weight are on it.
The falling portcullis and pit trap are quite real, as are the spikes at the bottom of the pit. There are no hidden doors or such in the pit, and there are no hidden doors on the walls of this room. You’ll have spent about 30 minutes here, but you’re confident that you’ve found all there is to find here.

The Centaurs were restless for leadership when you left them, and even the Minotaur and Liontaur leaders saw a need for greater Taur unity. Nyloth mentioned a need for humility as well. I will teleport myself and 2 others across the space from hall to hall. who would like to come with me? we should probably be towards the end of the group. I can make 3 of you invisible long enough to get through as well. any volunteers to go invisible and go through first?

Plans (DM Mark) MAP Monday September 20th, 2021 11:24:09 AM
DM Mark just checking in.
I see plans continue. I'll keep checking back for actions and changed locations on the map.

Mak waited on instructions. His last attempt to cross that room ended in his near death so he was waiting on a sound plan to deal with these magical constructs of which he had no experience.
He did add. "That one centaur was trying to get out of there. I'd like to make certain that they won't follow someone from the room on the other side. Perhaps one of us fast people move across quickly and then wait to see if they follow?"

"I think I can sneak by without help. Unless someone objects. But would you like me to summon some distractions or try without the summons? I'm ready to go once we reach the doorway to that room."
Rolth Niheow (BatMark) (72/72HP | AC: 20; Touch: 13; CMD: 25) | d20+5=14 ; Monday September 20th, 2021 6:07:37 PM "OK, how about this for a plan, simple and workable:
Tsak, Wil, Falco, and I sneak through invisibly (three made invisible by Elyas and I use my potion.) Then, if that goes according to plan, Elyas teleports with Kiwina and Mak. Do whatever buffs you like before we go invisible and start moving."
Once we are ready to go, Rolth casts Toros Taur Try (Liontaur) on himself, as well as expeditious retreat.

Kiwina heads over towards the golem room, staying in the corridor. He tosses a sling bullet with a light orison on it into the middle of the place -- under or onto the wooden table depending on whether it has legs or sides (AC 15 to land that particular square, less any range penalty). He sees if the golems react to that, and uses the light to see what he can of the room -- especially what might be in the way going through. (Perception = 27) Then he backs up to let the others see, too, if they want.

Tsak gets a potion out of his sack and prepares to glug it, then grab Esmerelda and head toward the big, dangerous statues...

Elyas stands in the corridor outside the golem room. he will cast greater invisibility on each of his 3 targets one at a time as they are ready to go into the room.
Wilford Grimly (HP:53/53- AC: 19; Touch: 12; Flat: 16; CMD: 21) Tuesday September 21st, 2021 2:15:40 PM
"Am I invisible right now? Can you see me?" Wil dances around a bit, hopefully he is not invisible because he will look crazier. "This is so cool. I'm ready to go.. take off.. skirt.. move it like Beckham.. who's Beckham? I don't know."
How do we get past those Golems? (DM Mark) MAP Tuesday September 21st, 2021 2:19:16 PM Kiwina would like to run through the room, thinking he may be fast enough to get all the way through before the golems can react. He casts light on a pebble and throws it under the table in the middle of the room. Elyas offers to make some invisible and then teleport himself and two others through the room. Rolth suggests that four of the Petals use invisibility to make their way sneakily through the room. Falco offers to cast Bless on all and will sneak through invisibly. Tsak worries about Esmerelda and would like for her to be invisible as he carriers her. Wil offers to summon a creature as a distraction if that would help. Mak remembers being pummeled by the golems, and suggest someone move through fast to see what they do.
The Dome of the Liontaurs is a large, roughly circular room about 70’ across. The dome is 40’ high in the center. Kiwina’s light illuminates the room pretty well, casting bright light in the middle (20’) and dim light out to the edges (20’ further). The dead centaur at the far side of the room represents difficult terrain (half move in those pink squares, but this should not be a big deal.)
You may recall that it was the four nearest statues and the one furthest from you that animated and attacked.
There appears to be no reaction to Kiwina’s light from any of the statues as the little pebble clatters to a stop under the table.
As the Petals firm up plans, they seem to have three parts to this plan:
- Some want to run through as fast as they can. There was earlier discussion of a large Taur carrying another creature, and Tsak plans to carry Esmerelda. I was surprised to see that Rolth and Kiwina both move at 50’. (A creature can run at 3 times their speed if wearing heavy armor, or 4 times their speed otherwise. Carrying a medium or heavy load will also slow you down a bit. The room is 70’ across.)
- Elyas wants to teleport himself and two others, but he knows a large creature counts as two, small and medium count as one.
- Some want to sneak through invisibly. (Stealth is an opposed roll against Perception. Invisibility adds +20 to your stealth roll. Attempting to move stealthily is moving at half speed. Normal speed results in a -5 to stealth, and you cannot use stealth while running.)
You guys have enough information to tell me what you do in the next turn. Choose wisely.
Rolth Niheow (BatMark) (72/72HP | AC: 20; Touch: 13; CMD: 25) | Tuesday September 21st, 2021 10:03:56 PM
Rolth proposes that he and Kiwina each carry an invisible small or medium Petal. With our high strength, tripled carrying carrying capacity, and just two castings of expeditious retreat, we could really move along nicely, and avoid moving through the middle of the room entirely, while still easily clearing the room. Rolth offers to carry Wil, and suggests that Kiwina carry Falco. That would leave Mak and Tsak to go with Elyas, which would provide some beef to Team Teleport if things go wrong. Team Invisible goes first, so that Team Teleport doesn't get stuck on the far side if things go wrong. He thinks the idea of sending just one PC to test the waters is riskier, because that might just alert the golems and cause them to move to block the entrances again. If the Petals agree, he moves out as above (with 160' of movement available, he will go to BP-BQ/7-8 if the party agrees, moving in a semicircle on the south side of the table.)

If the entire party can be made invisible or teleported, then of course that makes more sense than a daring charge. Kiwina waits for the spellcasters to confirm they are able to do this. Being by far the largest of the group*, he does not hold out too much hope, though.

Tsak takes another look at Esmerelda, noting that the cat now weighs quite a lot more than the skinny stray she used to be. Um, Kiwina, can you maybe carry Esmerelda as well, please? The Petals enact their plan. Elyas casts Greater Invisibility on Rolth, Will and Kiwina, and then prepares to Teleport himself and two others across. Rolth casts Expeditious Retreat on himself and Kiwina. He then stealthily moves across the room carrying Wil. Falco climbs onto Kiwina, who then moves stealthily across the room. And even though Falco was not made invisible, still the little owlman is able to almost disappear from view. Tsak worries about Esmerelda, and then Elyas suddenly remembers that at his current level he can actually take three people plus himself! The mage teleports Mak, Tsak, and Esmerelda across once Kiwina and Rolth seem to have had enough time to get across.
As the Petals move across the room, they keep a careful eye on the statues. None move or seem to take notice.
(Wow. That took a lot of planning, but just wow! Nice work! Everyone gets a heao point for having deftly avoided a very difficult combat. In fact, without more adamantine weapons, it’s not clear if you would’ve won. Which is maybe a good thing to consider for future purchases...)
As you look back into the Dome of the Liontaurs, you see the remains of a poor unfortunate male centaur lying dead on the floor. He still has a holy symbol to Domi, a longsword, bow and some arrows. His saddle bag is bloodied. It contains some standard supplies (rope, some moldering food, flint and steel, etc.) Nothing of great value, none of it magical.
Before you is a curving hallway. I put the whole thing on the map, and it eventually ends in two double doors. I’m interested in how you traverse this hallway and what precautions you take. No need to go round by round though - just put yourselves where you think you would be and the end of traversing that hallway.

Well, Tsak thinks, so far the corridors have been trap free, only the rooms have been awful.

Ooo, Look. I can see myself. (DM Mark) MAP d20=13 ; Monday September 27th, 2021 3:12:28 PM Falco warns that some creatures’ glare can cause problems and suggests others avert their eyes as the doors are opened. Tsak suggests a web spell to hamper anything beyond the doors. Elyas says he has a web spell ready and asks who is brave enough to open the doors? Rolth stands ready to try to open the doors, but suggests some better positioning first. Kiwina reminds everyone that Brygape’s journal suggested Pholus was trapped somewhere in this place. Wil stands ready. Mak listens carefully, but hears nothing beyond the party’s movements and discussion.
As suggested, the party moves around a bit, and averts their eyes as Rolth pulls on the mirrored doors. He finds that they are very heavy, but well balanced. They swing outward.
Upon opening the doors, the party sees a large room. It’s initially only seen by Rolth, but when he doesn’t go blind or get duplicated he tells the others it may be safe to look.
As the dim light spills into the room, the Petals can see that the walls of this 20’ high room are covered with mirrors. In the middle of the room are three large standing mirrors, the closest faced away from you, arranged as shown on the map. The borders of the central standing mirrors seem to be carved in figures, though they are hard to make out from where you stand. In the middle of these mirrors is a large bottle surrounded by a pile of gold. Written on in tiles on the floor in front of the mirrors is, “This is the beginning of wisdom - that communication and understanding leads to peace and cooperation.”
The room is still and quiet as your light glints off the mirrors on the walls.

Rolth, mindful of the bad turn of events last time he moved too hastily into a room, pauses before speaking or acting. "Well, there are three mirrors and three species of taurkind. Given the tiled messaged about communication and understanding, I wonder whether this is part of our quest from Domi to reunite the taurs? Mak, I agree that the temptation of the gold may be part of the test, and we may need to destroy the mirrors. But in the latter case, let us check around a little first. Elyas, shall we investigate any magics here before proceeding to close?" Rolth casts detect magic and begins scanning straight ahead toward the mirrors.

Does anyone have a mirror, maybe stand at the south side and shine it toward the middle when you turn the other three? There seems to be a gap there where another mirror could be?
With no more thoughts to add he turns his attention back to the corridor behind them and anything that could come bounding, sneaking or slithering along it.
Ooo, Look. I can see myself. (DM Mark) MAP Tuesday September 28th, 2021 12:51:42 PM Mak suggests avoiding the pile of gold in the middle of the mirrors, and thinks it might be a good idea to break the mirrors. Alternatively he suggests turning the three mirrors around so they do not face each other. Wil wonders if the mirrors in this place might be portals. Falco wonders if the mirrors could be a means of communication, given the writing on the floor. Elyas calls out a greeting as he tries to Detect Magic here. Rolth suggests finding out a bit more before breaking the three mirrors. He casts Detect Magic. He also calls out a greeting. Kiwina looks for tracks or other clues in this place. He can see that there are Centaur Tracks in this place. They seem to have moved around as well as toward the middle of this room. They’re rather hard to see. Kiwina can see that the carvings on the mirrors differ. Also, did he just see something move across the face of the furthest of the three mirrors? Tsak suggests holding a mirror in the southmost position may lead to something, since there seems to be a gap there.
Detect Magic reveals there is generally some sort of conjuration (summoning) and evocation magic associated with the mirrors on the walls. The same is true with each one of the three mirrors in the middle of this room. The magic emanating from each of the three mirrors in the middle is stronger than the general emanation from the mirrors on the walls.
Apart from the Petals discussions, the room remains still and quiet. Also, that pile of gold seems to also have some gems in it - forgot to mention that before.

Wil steps into the room, but where is he on the map?
(No, the DM did not try to entice you by adding gems to the pile, I just forgot to mention it before. The schools detected are the correct ones.)
Elyas and others were already done with a full three rounds of Detect Magic - that’s how you knew that weird combo of schools.
With Rolth in the room, he can see a bit more. The border of the mirror on the left (West) depicts carved liontaurs, the one in the center has a border of centaurs, and the third shows minotaurs. In the middle of these mirrors is a large bottle of blue wine surrounded by a pile of gold and gems.
But perhaps most shocking is that he sees a normal reflection in the mirrors, but added to that reflection each has a different centaur in it as if they were also standing before their mirror. Two of them are male, one rather old, and one is female. They look pleadingly at Rolth, and though their mouths move as they ask for help, they make no sound. They look a bit haggard and are injured but are otherwise fine.

Hello, is there anybody in there, just nod if you can hear me. (DM Mark) MAP Thursday September 30th, 2021 6:36:31 PM Elyas moves into the room. He looks carefully to try to tell if the centaurs in the mirrors are saying anything. Then he touches one of the mirrors to try to identify the magics involved. (This part requires three rounds to identify an item, so we’ll reveal that in a subsequent post.) Mak moves in, and is careful he is not reflected in any of the three central mirrors. He is, of course, reflected in the mirrors on the walls - as is everyone else. He fills his magical mug and enjoys some refreshment Rolth is relieved to see the trapped centaurs. He asks a number of questions. Kiwina searches the images for clues to their identities. Tsak stays where he is back in the corridor, wary of the mirrored room. Wil searches the room for exits or traps. Falco has a bad feeling about this place and readies to dispel any magical effects.
Those nearby can see their own reflection in these three central mirrors, but in each there is a different centaur in the mirrors’ reflection as well. Each is different and independent of the others, and seem to see the Petals and the other centaurs’ images.
Rolth can tell that the images of the centaurs do not seem to be able to hear him, but they can read what he writes. They do not pull out any writing implements or such. The central figure reacts with both relief and worry at the mention of Pelonius. All three hold weapons in their hands.
Kiwina is able to discern these three are likely Pholus, Barbale and Timapius. They look haggard and tired. All are also injured, and while the wounds look fairly fresh they do not seem to be bleeding or festering.
With Elyas careful eye and Linguistics skill, he can confirm the identities of these three. They are pleading for help, to get them out of the mirrors, though they know not how. Elyas can see that Pholus mouths a warning to not touch that pile of gold. They ask about one centaur in particular that seems to have run off, but Elays can’t quite make out the name - it starts with a B though.
Left unattended, the mirrored doors slowly swing shut, leaving Tsak, Esmerelda, and Falco in a darkened hallway.

"You haven't heard from your mom in a while," Will said quietly. "Don't bring her up," Wil warned. "I'm just saying..." "I think she floats around Dirt City.." he replied and continued the conversation as he makes his way around.

Mirror, Mirror... (DM Dan) MAP Friday October 1st, 2021 5:05:02 PM Tsak Rezar moves up to the now closed door. Elyas continues focussing on the mirrors, trying to learn all he can before letting anyone else touch them. Rolth Niheow continues talking with the Taur in the mirrors, and tries to help Elyas. Kiwina rattles off lots of questions aimed at the Taur in the mirrors. Falco Ambersier opens the doors Mak Wil searches around the room.
Falco opens the doors to reveal the room with the rest of the Petals in it. Thankfully it seems the doors are just designed to close naturally without any input, and nothing malicious appears to be going on with them.
Elyas is still trying to figure out some of the secrets of the mirrors, he already has a lot of information, but he knows there is yet a little more to learn...
The Taur in the mirrors nod when Brygape is written down, but they have no real way to communicate long concepts other than your ability to lipread, however, now you can focus on it you get the gist of things.
Brygape seems to have run, partly out of cowardice and partly because he could do nothing to help them, so in some ways they are thankful he managed to get away since he brought you here to help.
They just know the objects in the middle are cursed and when Barnable touched the wine bottle, they were all sucked in. They are kept well enough, not hungry or thirsty. Barnable and Timapius are sullen about their greed, and Pelonius laments his folly of bringing others here.
Kiwina (Steve M) 94/94 HP | AC:20 (1 weapon) or 21 (2 weapons) +4 vs AoO | HeP: 6 | Status: None d20+18=29 ; d20+5=25 ; Friday October 1st, 2021 6:24:11 PM
Kiwina trusts that there is a way to get people out of the mirrors, given that this is supposed to be a test set by Domi. He points out that it might improve communications if one of the Petals went into the mirrors -- but he doesn't know whether that would add the Petal to the centaur in the mirror or replace the centaur already in that mirror with the Petal. And if it replaces them, he doesn't know if they would reappear out here or go somewhere else.
Having offered these thoughts, Kiwina lets Elyas work on figuring out how the mirrors work. He, himself, walks around inspecting the mirrors, paying most of his attention to their frames. He'll even try looking at the center mirrors in the mirrors on the wall to see if they look different that way. (Perception = 29, knowledge (religion) = 25)
Rolth Niheow (BatMark) (72/72HP | AC: 20; Touch: 13; CMD: 25) | d20+5=20 ; Saturday October 2nd, 2021 1:51:34 PM
Rolth will again try to assist Elyas in figuring out these magics, and encourages Falco, Wil, and Kiwina--all of whom have some level of knowledge of such spellcrafty things--to join in the effort, comparing notes and trading helpful ideas.
(SPELLCRAFT = 20, success to boost Elyas' effort: total of 27+2 = 29 so far)

Tsak stands in the doorway with his back holding the door open so that he can see into the room one way and down the corridor the other. He puts his bow away as he doesn't see any enemies and puts his thinking cap on to try to help sort our the issue of the trapped taurs.
