"I can see the auras of how evil people are, but I have to do it individually - one at a time. And, to be frank, most of the people in this room would probably show up as evil. I don't think it's necessarily going to be helpful in figuring out who is "innocent", if by innocent you mean "not a rakshasa or working with them".
"That being said, yeah, I can see who has the strongest, most evil auras."
The paladin then begins checking, starting with the employees of the Nymph.

The group has remained mostly where they were at the call of the Truce during the Yuletide. Ramirez did move to the Roulette table and had a brief conversation with the dealer. Brief, because the dealer merely shrugged at the question, "I don't think any living being to be innocent sir." Des picks out an employee, the Roulette Dealer and focuses upon the man to read his aura. The Paladin finds that he cannot tell any aura about him at all.
The Dealer at the roulette table collects the bets across the wages that lost and and holds a hand to the group at his table. "Well it has been quite pleasant, but now I think it is time for The Tide to recede." As he finishes the sentence, the same group that had stood before does so again and look to the party. Their faces depict no emotion as they face off, unarmed with the mighty and regionally renown adventures. "Im sure you wouldn't want things to get messy?"

Things heat up quickly. Hmerinn parcour's the table top and moves towards the Roulette Dealer, drawing a halberd Gaffer casts Barkskin on himself Nira turns invisible and floats upwards Fly Check DC 20 to move up at an angle greater than 45 and you can only ascend at half speed, so it is not possible to free 5' straight up. Unless i'm missing something If not please make the check to perform the move Danko casts a Defensive spell and multiplies himself Des draws his great axe and with a word it begins to glow
Patrons scramble to get out of the way and what might be the way, well most of them. The Roulette dealer, now just before Hmerrin simply mutters, "So be it." "Defend!" he yells and then casts. Spellcraft DC 22 Highlight to display spoiler: {Mind Fog} Danko, Des, Hmerrin and Ramirez make Will Save DC 23 Else -10 on future Will saves A couple of the patrons, thier faces void of emotion, come running. Several towards Hmerrin, but they are lookin to simply get in his way. Between the fighters weapon and the Roulette Dealer. A couple others move to the other dealer and a single man rushes Des The Roulette dealer then gestures to Danko and Des and a pit opens underneath of them. Spellcraft DC 17 Highlight to display spoiler: {Creat Pit} Ramirez and Danko Reflex DC 19 Success move to nearest square. Else fall in Pit Dmg 9 and you are at the bottom of a 30' Climb DC 25 The Server near the pit (R/9) screams as the pit created a floor slope and she falls in. She lands with a sickening Crack, like breaking dry pasta in a paper towel. Her whimpers let you know she is still alive at least.
The other dealer moves back from his table as 2 patrons come to defend him and he sends 4 magic Missiles streaking into Gaffer Dmg 13
Above on the walkway, 2 of the men rush towards the sides and presumably a door. The last man points a finger at and a set of 4 Magic Missiles leaps into him. Des Dmg 15
The Cashier door opens and the three men rush out

Still trying to figure out exactly who is good and who isn't, Gaffer picks an easy target, the dealer who attacked him. Gaffers spell catches the dealer (o/11) and with a surprised look on his face, he becomes a rabbit. Ramirez resists the fog and jumps awy from the magical pit. He then casts Haste and begins to inspire the party through a good dwarf battle song. Hmerrin and Gaffer are beyond 30' apart and cannot both be affected by Haste. Gaffer is NOT Hasted. Danko in NOT Hasted Nira casta a pair of spells and necromantic energy rolls across much of the floor as she invisibly flies a bit South before sending out the Wave of Exhaustion Catching HP 1-3 and the guard The pit catches Danko and he hits the ground before he can activate his boots. The Stoneskin spell only protects against weapons. Danko Dmg 10Standing up, Danko sees the sereving girl looks to have nearly died from the drop. She coughs blood and has a huge split in her skull. Danko activates his Boots and rises 20' Still 10' below the rim of the pit Hmerrin attacks in full force, but the men about him get just enough in the way so that he does not land a single blow Des engages Eric and fids the man to be no match at all. What is unerving is the complete lack of emotion, effort anything that any sentient mortal dispalys during a fight present in Eric. The axe strikes and without even a sound, the man known as Eric, crumples to the ground
The Roulette dealer's eyes go a bit wide as severl strikes pass just inches from him and he calls the other dealer to help. Running in from Hmerrin left the other dealer arrives and casts a spell while touching the fighter Touch AC 33 and delivers the spell Hmerrin Touch of Idiocy -2 int, wis, cha The Roulette dealer having delayed for his man then casts his own spell, but the pressure of Hmerrin causes him to mis cast Defensive casting failed With a growl and a twitch he vanishes Defensive Quicken cast success The 3 men about Hmerrin continue to try and foil his attacks.
A group forms from the cashier cage and moves towards Gaffer. Only 1 of them appearing angry or with any emotion at all (c2). C2, extends a hand and another volley of magic strikes Gaffer Gaffer Dmg 12
The exhausted guard moves forward towards Des and from behind him, the 3 from the upper walkway now appear in the doorway
From the back room, 2 more enter and look quickly about to take in the situation.

Gaffer lets out a pained groan as a second volley of magic hits him, but still feels his situation looks better than Hmerrin's.
He hesitates for a few moments, the mix of violence, crowding and innocence makes him unsure of what to do but noticing new comers arriving from the far side of the room and looking aggresive. He takes a 5 foot step to P5 and starts summoning a few new allies.
He doesn't forget to glare at C2 as he does so, and hopes all three of them are running for the door.

Hmerrin gives a growl of frustration as he's unable to land one blow, and then the Raka up and disappears.
Then he gets hit with a spell.
Realizing he's in a bit of a pickle, the young man lays about in an attempt to hurt those needing hurt, and just whapping those needing whapped. He sticks the pointy end of the halberd at the other dealer, then twists his grip to give two of the possessed a thwack with the flat side of the weapons's axehead, before sticking the dealer with the pointy end again.

Nira can still 'see' the Roulette dealer and casts a spell to assist Hmerrin in doing the same. Sparkling dust shimmers about and the Roulette Dealer is visible once again Gaffer backs away from the incoming group and opens a gate to the plane of earth Hmerrin slashes Dealer 1, who had reverted back from being a bunny moments ago, and score two hits despite the interference of others. He then promptly puts tow of those other on the floor Danko rises out of the pit and casets Chain Lightinging vaporizing every remaining patron that had taken action in the place Des moves in on the guard and connects 3 times. The guard growls Ramirez continues the dwarf battle hymm, pauseing just long enough to cast Grease at the back room doorway, causing one of the men coming through to fall
The Roulette dealer laughs as the bodies incinerate about him, "Well now that's more like it. Cut the strings and watch them fall. He then points a finger at Danko and unleashes his own Chain Ligtning which arcs into each member of the party as well as several of the innocents taking cover. He follows it up with another quick casting, this time 5 missiles streak into Gaffer Gaffer Dmg 17 Danko Reflex DC 23 Dmg 55 or 27 Everyone Else Reflex DC 21 Dmg 55 or 27
The guard steps back from Des and casts Scorching Ray A pair of fiery beams shoot out, only one striking Des Dmg 20
The other guard closes and follows suit, sending 2 more rays of fire connecting with both Des dmg 22+22
The dealer wounded by Hmerrin steps back and casts a Scorching Ray as well, connecting once Hmerrin dmg 19
The man who did not fall in the Grease moves through and closes towards Hmerrin. Stopping short he transforms into a great black hyena
The other man in the Grease gets up and moves out of the slippery spell, points at a patron in the corner, 'Defend us" as he casts Charm Person The man simply tries to back up further, "Are you nuts, He just killed them all"

Gaffer just barely manages to keep concentration on his spell while he takes a heavy hit from another round of magic missiles, but he doesn't see the chain lightning before it is too late, taking the full brunt of the magic, his body goes stiff and his casting is broken.
Gaffer coughs up blood and spits it to the floor, not sure he can handle another spell like that, he angrily lets loose a handful of flames which scatter across the room before erupting in great waves of fire.

Gaffer loses the Summoning spell under the assault, but rallies and delivers a firestorm. 2 of the cashiers simply crumble to ash, the rest of the targets, several catch on fire, including 2 of the dealers Des is taken aback with the onslaught of electrical death unleashed into the room from Danko, heals himself and presses against the guard, dropping him to the ground Nira flies above the palading and Heals him, maitaining her invisibility Hmerrin catches the blast and is also stunned by Danko's spell. He moves after the drealer falling back. Hitting him 3 times, the dealer spins to the floor, reverting to his true Rakshsa form Ramirez continues the chant. He draws his bow and fires at the Roulette dealer. Hitting himsquarely, but the shaft bounces harmlessly off.

Danko casts Chain Lightning, hitting each enemy except the guard. The Roulette dealer seems to be unaffected by the blast. Nira, flies unseen to Gaffer and Heals him Gaffer brings a Flame Strike to the black hyena, but cannot catch anyone else. The pillar of holy fire engulfs the rafters, tables and chairs, bursting all of it into flame which quickly spreads across the ceiling Des moves in on the last guard and misses Hmerrin pursues the black Hyena, striking 3 out of 4 times and tearing great wounds into him Ramireaz, continues his hymn and fires 4 more shots at the black hyena. Nira bends to the side and watches the bolt of electricity pass her by. Looks like Hmerrin might be in trouble though. She flies over to fighter and heals his wounds.
She is able to identify the Suggestion spell and calls out a warning to the rest of the party. "That guy is being mind controlled! Try not to hurt him!". Nira looks for where the guard in front of Des went and - if she can still see him - calls out his direction to the others.

Even hasted Gaffer is to slow to avoid the second Chain Lightning and stumbles back as it crashes into him full force, making him even more grateful for Nira's healing.
Heading Nira's warning, Gaffer chooses to deal with the patron before they have a chance to get physical. Clapping his hands together before opening his palms, a jolt of lightning springs out and strikes the patron in the chest.
His attention moves between the other patrons and the fire, worried that it's going to become an issue.

Pretty much all the civilians are dead, and now the building is on fire. Hmerrin briefly dwells on how poorly the battle is going, and while he's doing that, he gets slammed with another lightning bolt and magic missiles. [Reflex 17]
The damage should be enough to render him unconscious, but Hmerrin has suffered greatly at the hands of a dwarven contingent of the WLA, and instead he just stands there. [Die Hard Feat]
Nira comes by in the nick of time with a healing spell.
Hmerrin locks eyes with the roulette dealer, and a grin slowly spreads on his face.
Stepping back in, he perforates Hyena Man before turning his attention to Roulette Guy.

Nira calls out from her Overwatch position that the latest patron to enter the fray is under a Suggestion spell. She then floats over to Hmerrin and Heals him. Hey eyes begins to, invisibly glow[/i] and Nira can see Transumtaion Magin on Hmerrin, Ramirez and Des. Danko is alos touched with Illusion, and Abjuration. Hmerrin is also wearing a Necromantic spell Gaffer catches the lightning fully, and heeding Nira's call, he steps in and delivers a non lethal shock of his own to the new combatant. The jolt rattle teeth and tightens muscle, but does not deter him completely Des curses the cowardly Rakshasa and switches weapons to his morning star, informing Ramirez what propoerties ate required to kill Rakshasa Hmerrin's mind and body are assaulted. The civilians are all dead, including Eric. The building is on fire and not just a little bit. White hot pain just shot through every muscle in his body and things slow down. Then a wave of energy flows into him and at least the physical hurt is gone. He smiles and steps in. Despite the black hyenas defences, the skilled warrior is able to cut hum down. The black hyena cocks his head and his ear perk slightly and then looking past Hmerrin to the Roulette Dealer, he falls to the floor Danko twwists away from the bolt and it passes harmlessly by him. He then casts Lightning bolt back at the Roulette Dealer. The bolt hits him square, but the energy does not seem to harm him. Ramirez shudders a bit as the bolt arcs into him and calls forth a scroll from is Haversack. Dropping his bow to the ground, he opens the scroll nd casts Bless Weapon upon his quiver. The Battle hymn continues
The Roulette dealer's face scrunches up with concern as the Black Hyena falls to the floor. He casts a spell at Hmerrin and a black ray leaps into his chest. The Cashier and server from the back room head to cowering, before casting Magic Missiles at Ramirez. The Guard appears by Gaffer upon completing his own Magic Missile spell Ramirez Dmg 15+16+16 = 46
The fire engulfing the center of the Nymph continues to build and eat through the ample fuel of the wooden walkway, rafters, the roof itself , gaming tables, floor and chairs. The patrons panic and many make a break for the front door. The Cashier and Backroom server yell savagely as the first try it, slaching inot them with a Kukri. "Back you wretched puppets!" The Backroom servant's weapon flashes as the patron runs pass, catching him neatly across the throat and he tumbles to the floor into a spreading pool of crimson. Trying to get past the guard and enchanted patron, another recieves a deep wound to the side. He manages to push the patron to the ground and falling prone himself, is trying to madly scramble through the door.
The rest of the patrons are cowed by the display of savagery

Nira rolls up her invisible sleeves and prepares to unleash on the remaining rakshasa but looks like her job as the healer isn't done. Ram has gone and gotten hurt and even though Nira can see invisible, the sound of his performance kind of gives away where he is. He's not going to last long like that. As she considers her next move Nira also spots some movement below her. That server is still alive! With the building on fire the poor girl might get buried. She needs to act. Fast.
She flies over to where Ram is standing and uses up her last high level spell slot to cast Heal. That's it. All done. No more heals at all.
Nira doesn't want to leave the server unprotected though. They have to save at least 1 civilian! She digs deep and swoops down into the pit to look at the poor girl. She speaks as calmly as she can as she approaches knowing that an invisible voice might startle the girl. "Try not to be afraid. I'm here to help. Sssshhhhh. Hey, hey, remember me? I'm the lady that ordered the wine and the round of drinks for that dice table? Remember?". Nira tries to position herself so as to shelter the girl from any falling debris.

Des heads to help Hmerrin, this was not going overly well Gaffer begins summoning once again, a small lement at not having prepared a Quench spell for the first time in ages Hmerrin persues the Roulette dealer and strkikes once, lightly wounding him Ramirez is hurt badly from the onslaught of spells. Needing a breather he casts Mislead in the hopes of leading them away. He grabs his bowand continues the Hymn, even though it gives away his position Danko sends his own volley at the Roulette Dealer. The missiles slam inot an invisible barrier, just short of the Dealer Know Arcana DC 21 Highlight to display spoiler: {Shield Spell} Nira scans the room and has several takses to accomplish. Save the serving girl in the magical pit and save Ramirez, knowing the highly intelligent Rakshasa will take little time in figuring out where he is. The fire begins spreading and building back upon itself as the heat increases. Black smoke builds and as the tars and resins within the beautiful furniture ignite, the air above the 4-5 foot flames becomes opaque blocking all line of sight. Ramirez the fire is spreading to where you are standing. If you remain, you risk catching on fire
The patrons on the floor at Gaffer's feet continue to fight and struggle with each other. Fists and elbows are thrown, niether getting an advantage over the other.
In the pit the young woman is very much frightened, but does seem to recognize Nira's voice and her head bobs in agreement as she manages, "help me please"

Gaffer instucts the 4 water elementals to work on putting out the fire and the creatures move in and begin doing so. Steam hisses and billows as they make first contact Des moves with the Roulette Dealer and scores a hit. Hmerrin winces as he feels the Roulette Dealers pain Dmg 4 Hmerrin feels a pull and continues his attack, landing 1 of his blows. Again, Hmerrin feels part of the blow, Dmg 4 Danko lets loose with another Chain Lightning spell. The spell fails seems to dance about all of the targets, leaving them unharmed. Spellcraft DC 25 Highlight to display spoiler: {Spell Resistance} Nira casts a curing spell that completely heals the young lady and sliver of hope crosses her face. She looks terrified but nods her head and manages to say 'mouse'. Nira wastes no time and seconds later, has a mouse in her pocket. Ramirez completes the battle hymn so he can conetrate on the Mislead image. He takes aim, but cannot see the Roulette Dealer though the pillar of flame and smoke. Instead he fires at the Cashier, but misses

Nira rises up to clear the pit and comes to a hover. She can clearly see the guard and sends her Spectral Hand to deliver the Vampiric Touch. The invisible attack catches the guard and the spell is successful Des pours rightous power into his attacks against the Rakshasa and attacks. He connects once, know some of the power behind his strike is aborbed by some magic and a grunt of pain from Hmerrin tells where other magic maybe at work. Hmerrin Dmg 15 Hmerrin decides Des doesn't need to know and as righteous power fuels him, he attacks landing a blow. Hmerrin also knows a portion of the strike was absorbed by some magic and he fells his wounds as well. Hmerrin Dmg 19 Gaffer instructs the elementals to continue and they do so. Fire is quenched in hissing steam as they move. What the elementals cannot help with is the rafters and walkway. Gaffer shocks the charmed patron and the man goes limp.

Hmerrin Dmg 15 Hmerrin decides Des doesn't need to know and as righteous power fuels him, he attacks landing a blow. Hmerrin also knows a portion of the strike was absorbed by some magic and he fells his wounds as well. Hmerrin Dmg 19 Gaffer instructs the elementals to continue and they do so. Fire is quenched in hissing steam as they move. What the elementals cannot help with is the rafters and walkway. Gaffer shocks the charmed patron and the man goes limp. Ramirez takes aim and fires multiple holy shafts at the guard, striking 3 times and gravely wounding him Danko's brooch absorbs the Magic Missiles and he puts up a Wall of Force cutting off 2 of the Rakshasa from the fight, until they can find a way around. Wall of Force must form a Flat vertical plane. it cannot make a turn
The guard casts a spell and disappears again.
The Backroom server moves forward and hits the invisible wall. Snarling he gestures back to the cowering patrons, "Come here and find a way around this barrier" One of the cowering servers immediately gets up and rushes to assist in finding a way around. Regardless, she recognises the Suggestion spell that the backroom server has cast. The Wall of Force has kinda made things difficult for her to get a clean shot so Nira invisibly flies around it to get line of sight at the rakshasa.

Hmerrin Dmg 15 Hmerrin wasn't backing down now or ever against this monster and presses his own attack, landing a solid blow and feeling the pain of it. Hmerrin Dmg 20 Gaffer notes the fire acrosss the ceiling, there was little to do and the druid hopes the structure holds, bt in case it doesn't. He casts Warp Wood at the corner and is able to create a hole in the wall. The fresh air rushes in and teh patrons by the hole stir to look out and begin to move. Glaring hatefully at the raka, he steps back, dropping his halberd. With an effort he reaches to his magical haversack, and a potion appears in his hand. The strain on his face is evident, but he keeps his eyes locked on the raka. With a grunt, he pops the stopper, and drains the vial.

Hoping he has space, he wonders if he can get around their resistances as an untried creature. He drops to all fours as three horns sprout from his forehead and his entire body rapidly gains a leathery hide. A Triceratops appears in the gambling arena!

Nira becomes visible for a few seconds, before casting invisibility again upon herself and alos Spell Immunity on Hmerrin, protecting him from those Scorching Rays and Magic Missiles, and throwing in Enervation as well Hmerrin attacks with his pair of axes, an amazing display of strikes and counters. Only to be thwarted by the magical protections and reflexes of his foe. His last cut, the Roulette dealer shifts and slips past, but he did not see the under backhand of the battle ax and as his eyes widen, the Roulette Dealer's head leaves his shoulders. Hmerrin Dmg 8 Ramirez begins a new ballad and fires another volley at the Cashier. The first hits him in the lower chest, the second strikes just above the collar bone in the throat. With a gurgle, he falls dead. Gaffer shifts into a dinosaur! Filling, over filling the fron section of the Nymph Gaffer is Squeezed... –4 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to AC Des uses his Paladin blessings, to heal Hmerrin Danko sees the Cashier fall, leaving just the back room server. He opens his mouth and a bolt of Lightning issues forth and slams into him. The bolt catches ihim in the chest and bounces him off of the wall. He hist the floor, unmoving and smoking
The fire continues in the ceiling and rafters. There is but one opponent still moving, and that patron is trying to futiley grapple a Triceratops The other patrons were already on their way out and now escape through the hole in the wall created by Gaffer
Desdichado looks around at the destruction of the building, at the many patrons lying dead all around, and at all of the damage the group has taken, and begins to feel sick.
Steeling himself, he thinks back to Ja'Jalla's words about destruction following them and reflects about how right he was.
"Gather around, everyone, and I'll try to patch us up a bit," he wearily calls out to the team. Afterwards, he looks around to see if there's anything that might help them as relates to the High Priest's words.

Nira does a quick lap of the room to look for any survivors. She doubts there are any but she has to try. This building is going to come down and she doesn't want anyone left behind. If she is unable to find anyone alive she'll try to start dragging bodies outside. She keeps her eyes open for Tanner, Oakleaf and Baker.
Things went really bad here. To the town guard it will look like the party entered a gambling house, killed a bunch of civilians and burnt the building to the ground. They're going to have to do a lot of explaining.

Oh, and then there's the whole 'killed everybody and burnt the building down' thing.
The young man sighs, looks around, and sets himself.
"Gaffer, lose your dancing partner and see if you can get these elementals to keep things watered down."
"Dez, we need to get into the back rooms and see if we can find the point of all this. They weren't just stealing money from the locals."
Hmerrin heads for the hallway that guard was covering, and commences to poking about.

"I've got to get this one outside. They won't have been able to hear what's going on in here, but there guard will be here soon anyway. We should go out and greet them before misunderstandings happen."
He takes the patron he had rendered unconscious and carries him out through the door and out of harms way.

Ramirez helps Nira and Gaffer usher any remaining civilians outside. He also drags out the bodies of some of the rakshasa. That would help explain things to the guards. He hopes they find some evidence in one of the rooms, before the roof caves in. At least the elementals should be able to keep the fire from spreading beyond the gambling house.

Danko dismisses his remaining mirror images and assists the remaining patrons to leave the burning casino. He uses the cure moderate wounds of his Brahmah Tatoo to help those he can. He still has a few (3) force walls available and will use them to protect adjoining buildings from the fires as needed.
He looks at the damage that was caused and thinks to himself.. { Coulda been worst }

There are no patrons or server in the main room, they all went through the hole or front door. Save the man who was under a Suggestion spell to hamper Gaffer. Now apparently free of it, he bolts out the door. The water elementals stand about and soak down most of the main room.
The group quickly gathers about Des and the paladin heals everyone 31 HP Gaffer's Reverse Gravity is keeping the debris against the ceiling as it burns. Know Engineering DC 20 Highlight to display spoiler: {The walkway was the main source of the fire at the ceiling, the supporting timbers seem to be holding well and might well outlast the fire, not that the fuel sources are nearly depleted.} The fight was quick, but with patrons running into the streets, the Watch is likely only 5 or 10 minutes from arriving. Hmerrin calls for Dez to check the back room as he moves to the side where the guard was posted Gaffer suggests meeting the Watch outside and drags out an unconscious man. Nira finds most of the bodies nearly unrecognizable as such. The Flame strike and massive electrical attack has all but reduced them to charred husks. If the three she sat with are among the dead, she may never know. Ramirez assist in pulling the dead Rakshasa, now in their true forms, outside. It would hopefully help mitigate issues with The Watch.
Hmerrin finds the door locked and a quick pocket check finds the key on the guard. Inside is a mall break room with a pair of nice chairs, weapon belt rack, and a low table with left overs. There is a cage wall of sorts with baskets of items and a journal hanging from a chain. Quickly giving it a glance and this ust be the confiscated goods area. Several items listed involve a magical boost to perception, such as Elixer of Vision and Eyes of the Eagle there are also scrolls, a hat and several other vials and crystals. Des heads into the back room and as he crosses the threshold, there is a black aura that pulsates from the area. Des Will save DC 24 Dmg 24 or 12 The paladin finds the back room is a second gaming hall and far more refined in decor than the main area. There are also 12 people standing near the back wall about a gaming table. 2 are dressed as servers, both elf females. The other 10 are a finely dressed, mix of elf, human and half elf. All look nervous and unsure.
Outside, as of this moment, there are no shouts of alarm.
Desdichado agrees with meeting the Watch outside and showing them the dead rakshasa. He suggests to Gaffer that they tell the Watch to get Ja'Jalla since these are the enemies they'd warned him about.
Walking into back, he's briefly overcome by a great sense of evil, but shrugs it off and continues into the room.
Seeing a room full of people, but unsure whether there are more rakshasa disguised here, he firmly says (Intimidate: 22) "Please no one move. The staff here are all dead, as are many of the patrons. If you value your lives, stand quietly until we've had a chance to determine whether you are disguised rakshasa. The Watch will be here soon and if you obey my order you will be safe."
Hmerrin removes his magical haversack, and tries the ol' one arm scoop of the magic looking stuff into it.
Then, he'll go look for Dez.

Gaffer thinks he has about 40 seconds left with the elementals and quickly follows Des' suggestion, he calls for the Water Elementals to follow him and he looks for a stairway to the upper level, where they might be able to quench the fire above.

Hmerrin pulls out a Haversack and starts grabbing Scroll; Eyes of Eagle; 2x Ion Stones Clear Spindle; Goggles Minute Seeing; 4x Elixir of Vision A ladder leads up to what was the walkway, now destroyed by the fire. There is no way to get to the rafters which are burning low and or smoldering. The Roulette Dealer, both guard, the back room server, a Cashier and the Back room dealer are all Rakshasa and dead and are now outside. In Nira's pocket is a polymorphed Serving girl.
In the backroom the small crowd of 12 nod dumbly at Des as if they do not really understand what is going on or why he seems so stern and upset.

Sensing that Hmerrin has encountered the same evil presence, Desdichado calls out to Nira in the outer room. "Nira, there is...something...magical and evil in this back room. Could you come tell us what it is, and maybe get rid of it? Be careful not to step back here."
Turning to the people in the room, he continues to watch over them carefully. "Not sure what's going on with this group," he says to Hmerrin. "They seem pretty out of it, but better safe than sorry. I've told them not to move until we can get some order around here."
Hmerrin stumbles going through the door as he's assailed by magical energy. "Sweet Alemi," he breathes. "That's bad."
Once his gets his head clear, he looks up at the people Dez is talking about. "Probably possessed as well," he mutters.
"So how do we get them out of here?" Hmerrin is talking to both Dez and himself on this one. He tries to recall the layout of the building, and which of the walls in this room probably leads out, and whether a large magical axe might make a door.

Nira takes the mouse from her pocket and gently places it on the ground. She says the magic word to dismiss the polymorph spell and returns the server to her usual (boring) form. "Are you alright? You're safe now. It would be best you leave though. I suggest heading home, have a stiff drink and try and get some rest". She gives a smile to the girl and quickly looks her over for any further signs of harm before letting her go.
At Des's call she rushes to find him and see what the fuss is about. If directed to an area that he thinks is magical she will look it over to try and determine the effect in place. Since it seems to be causing some issues she tries to dispel it - though it isn't her greatest attempt.

Nira and Ramirez make their way to the back room. Nira stops short and through her Arcane Sight is able to identify the Forbiddance spell. Her dispel has no affect and the spell remains in place. Ramirez's attempt to dispel the Forbiddance is unsuccessful as well
In the back room the small crowd look at each other a bit and back to Hmerrin and Des. For now, they seem content on waiting on you.

Danko wait outside with Gaffer. Looking up towards the roof, Gaffer seem no flames and very little smoke. It does not appear the fire burned long enough to penetrate the roof. Inside there is a fairly large crash as the Reverse Gravity ceases and the bodies, chairs tables and burned up walkway and supports all come crashing back down. As the dust settles, it seems as if the roof is going to stay put.
Des wonders if they could have been being prepped for another farm. The high quality of dress suggests a decent amount of wealth these folks likely have access to. Hmerrin thinks it about time to leave and his axes slam into the wall, with very little effect. Cutting through the wall is going to take some time. Nira and Ramirez both attempt to Dispel the Forbiddance]/i] and neither is successful. Nira knows that to have any hope of removing the magic, one must be as powerful as the caster of the spell in the first place. It is also completely safe to leave a [i]Forbiddance, Hmerrin, Des and the civilians can exit with no danger at all
The party has certainly taken out the main operators of the Nymph, but have found no links to anywhere else or the two men who met outside of Inn. Or any offices, or the main cash reserves of the Gaming Hall

Gaffer suggests to Danko. Then has another thought.
"I'm going to fly around for a bit and see who has taken notice. There might be movement somewhere else in the city since we've made our presence clear."
He'll hustle off to a nearby alleyway, wildshape into the familiar form of a hawk and take to the skies. Flying in an increasingly wide spiral he focuses his attention on any rooftops that might have figures observing The Nymph, or any houses that look to be undergoing a sudden evacuation.

Once someone breaks the news to Hmerrin that they can just walk out safely, he will drop his head and silently shake it a moment or two, then let out a big sigh.
"Someone could have led with that," he observes sourly.
"All righty then! Everybody is going outside." Hmerrin has his weapons sheathed, but of course is a bloody mess. The young lad makes a shooing motion and advances on one side of the civilians much like a sheep dog herding its flock. "Let's go now, we're all leaving, tck tck tck, there you go, everybody out, c'mon now."

Quite a few people were coming and going during that fight. Nira shares Des' concern. Did they miss any of the rakshasa in all the excitement? She holds her ground as the civilians file past and casts a Locate Creature spell while focusing on Rakshasa. If there are any still alive nearby she will point them out to the rest of the party.

Gaffer queries about checking under the Gaming hall, somehow. He then shifts into a hawk and takes to the skies. The damage does not look as bad from out here. Danko casts Locate Object and quickly feels the spell pulling him to enter the building and turn to right. the direction, he recalls, to the Cashier cages Hmerrin and Des, with Ramirez assisting once the group is out of the Forbiddance, bring the rest of the civilians outside and as they pass through the smoldering room of charred bodies and bloody pools, to the last they are terrified of what's to become of them. None dare speak, but several are trying to keep their crying sobs as hushed as they can. Nira, agreeing with Des that some in the group might be Rakshasa, casts Locate Creature None in the small group are revealed by the spell or within the area
Gaffer spies The Watch approaching quickly from 2 different directions. One of the groups, the further of the 2, has 3 others with them. He recognizes them as having been in The Nymph. Further off, gaffer sees another group of The Watch, entering the main barracks where The Tide met with JaJolla.

Hmerrin gets outside with the people who obviously think they're about to get slaughtered.
He sighs heavily. This is not what was supposed to happen.
"I don't suppose anyone has some of those 'clean you up' spells to make us look more presentable," he asks The Tide.
Regardless, time to pay the piper. He addresses the bystanders, and people who just came out, first waving a hand at the dead rakasha. "We came for them, not for you. The Watch is on their way, and we plan to do whatever they tell us to do. You are free to stay or leave as you will."
He looks back at the building, trying to find words. But none come.
"I'm really sorry," is all he can manage.

Gaffer flies his way back to the rest of The Tide and continuous to circle the group from above until the watch arrive, at which points he finds a low roost for himself where he can listen to what is being said.

Nira isn't quite sure what to say. Quite a few civilians died in that building. Innocent people that would still be alive if the group hadn't entered, or had acted differently, or any one of a hundred other things that could change the outcome.
She works with Ram to treat and care for as many wounded people as possible. Only when the civilians have been healed will she turn her attention to the party.

Danko does his best to loot the loot for lack of better words. He starts with gathering the gems, then the magical items and finaly the coins.
He makes his way back but before going out of the building he casts greater Invisibility on himself.
He walks to Nira and whispers.. " Easy, it's Danko, I found the loot. I can teleport myself and four of us out of here and back to our base. I just need everyone to make physical contact and we can be out of here."

Everyone is outside save Danko, who followed his spell. None of the civilians outside are physically hurt in anyway and after Des talks for a few minutes, he is able to calm them and it seems they are coming to realize The Tide does not intend to kill them. A couple are able to answer the questions asked, though their thoughts seem muddled and their speech is off a bit. Nira suspects they are all drugged in some way. She noticed the drinks and food offered to her earlier were laced with several mind numbing agents. Nira also suspects the goal of the drugging was the same, simply more deceitful and quick, as serving alcohol at a gambling house. 'Was gambling for maybe 3 hours tonight, doing pretty good too.' 'We have worked here for about 6 years, most under the current owner master Greenleaf' One elf looks at the rakshasa now revealed and speaks 'We all are part of the masters club of The Nymph, exclusive gaming tables, higher stakes. I was looking forward to petitioning the Chancer's Club later this year.'
Danko gets the money from the Cage, turns invisible and returns outside
Gaffer watches as a 4 member standard group of The Watch round that corner a few buildings down and come to an abrupt stop. Hands draw finely crafted elven curved blades and 2 of group starts coming forward, the others quickly turning and begin circling around at a run.
For the party at large, you see 2 members of The Watch, weapons drawn, moving at a battle ready pace. "This is The Watch, by the sovereign lands of The Emerald Kingdom, you are ordered to disarm and remain where you are!"

Nira only has two daggers by her side but she follows the orders of the Watch and drops them to the ground. She raises her hands slightly to show that she is now unarmed.

So long as know voices call up to him directly, Gaffer ignores the situation below, trusting that his companions will do what can be done to smooth everything over. He focuses his attention on their wider surroundings still, watching for anything eye catching.
