Mundhildur Karadottir, Jotun singing giant (Kim) AC 18 Touch 13 FF13 HP 10/11Oh, and I wrote in a prior post by Mundhi that she sold the wagon. Sorry, Azimov, that was not hers to sell - unless it's okay with Azimov! She'd give the money to him, paying him full value for the wagon.

...Before they rest for the night, she pulls from Azimov's wagon a device. "Here, Elron. This is your perch bed." She hands over a wooden device shaped exactly as he requested back in the mansion. "I found a carpenter."
"Oh, yes. I was talking back and forth with the spirit above the door. I asked him about 'spider' being the password. The door asked, 'Why would you say the password?' Which made me wonder whether using the 'spider' password was the wrong thing to do.Mundhildur's healthcare abilities go high during the next day (Heal: 22), and after that day (if people want to take that long), everyone (except herself) will heal up 16 hp, and 4 ability points. Everyone, including Elron (except Mundhi, unless healing help comes from Honor and/or Asimov) should be full on.
"Then above-the-door-gnome-spirit said, 'I'm glad you're here -- I was getting lonely.' And I felt sad for him, but glad we were getting to know each other a little.
The spirit then told me, 'I think I have it this time.' So I was hoping to hear his next words. Which were, 'Is the password ... blood? I bet it's blood.'
"Well, that got me thinking a few more things. If he is right, and 'blood' is needed to persuade the door to open, then is that what we need to say? Also, he questioned why we would even want to say the password? Is there something harmful, dangerous, perilous, beyond the door? Even evil?" She pauses. "Maybe the spirit may tell me if I ask what is beyond the doorway."
[d20+6=26 ; d20+6=20 ; 4d6+4=18 ; 4d6+4=19 ;If that is all right, then the spider takes 37 hp, as the stone goes whizzing by barely missing Irony, because this is a day of good aim.

There is plenty of rubble lying around. Mundhildur picks up some of the broken stones at her feet. "I'll be ready to throw these if any of those leggy things show up, all right, Asimov?"
And she is ready to throw, indeed. Should a spider appear, she throws - nat 20 (26), confirmed at AC 20, for 18+19=37 hp. Holding that attack until needed. Her range increment is 40.]
"She broke both legs?" asked the very large dwarf lady. "You say, jumping off a huge boulder? Hope the breaks are clean," she comments. Mundhildur, seven years old, looks at the red-blonde braids of the dwarf woman who stands well over six feet tall. She had heard of her before. She practiced medicine, and served a god Mundhi did not know. Her eyes seemed kind, though. After Zeoll helps heal her, a small sigh escapes her lips, yet otherwise, she continues to lie still on the side of the mirror which the party originally was in..
"I will examine your legs, girl. You tell me what hurts, and what does not. Your mother tells me you are brave. Are you brave, girl?"
She gives an affirmative nod, but feels some apprehension.
"Good. Now when I do this..."
"Uhnnn..." she groans.
"And this?"
The girl grits her teeth, but says nothing. The dwarf takes the other leg, the right one, in her strong hands, presses a few spots, then pulls, and gives a slight twist.
"AAAAHHHIIIiiiiii!" the girl cries out, then takes several rapid breaths, and stills her voice. Shaky, she says. "Now that one does not hurt."
The healer gives her a clean white rag. "Put this between your teeth for a moment, girl." Young Mundhildur obeys.
The woman begins to say some words in another language, runs a finger lightly over her left shin. "Can you count with your fingers?" she asks the girl. Another affirmative nod. "Good. Count to five with your fingers, like this." She holds up a first, then lifts her own thumb, index finger, and down to the small finger. "Ready? Start." The girl has her thumb and index finger up, and as her middle finger is beginning to unfold, the healer squeezes the middle of her calf, angles the leg slightly inward, then pulls out a smidge, and lets the muscles pull the leg back.
Mundhildur's teeth manage to cut through some of the cloth, but aside from some subvocalizations, she does not cry out this time. The woman says a few more words - more like a chant. A wave of warmth covers both legs. The pain disappears. The girl takes the cloth out of her mouth, and she feels her body relaxing on the table. She breathes in and out half a dozen times.
"Kara, she is fine now," the dwarf healer says to Mundhildur's mother. "Girl. Mundhildur Karadottir. Do not jump off that rock again this year. Get some training in how to jump, and land, and fall. You will grow tall only if you survive."
Mother Kara says, "Bless you, Dovana. Here, take this for your medical supplies, and by way of thanks." The healer inclines her head and accepts the small pouch.
