OOC: small correction in how the Vyrnix Amulets are written. They do not give the wearer DR, they enable the wearer to bypass an opponents DR if and only if the wearer is on the Rakshasa Plane.

Yrûl thinks the Witch is hardly being fair. Wearily, she moves north.
(ooc1: base speed of 30 and ½ for exhausted, Yrûl needs a double move to get out of the Silence Spell. DM placed her at AR12)
(ooc2: Shadowdancer’s Shadow Power only replicates ‘shadow evocation’ for spells in the Pathfinder Corebook.)

Desdichado isn’t doing well, missing a swipe, and then takes the time, several seconds, to pull out an Enlarge Person potion from a non-magical pouch. (ooc: retrieve an item is a full round action). A step and a heal are all the time he has. (ooc: he will have to drink the potion next round.)

Gaffer is too slow to even begin to avoid being run over by the hut and the spell slips from his grasp, wasted. He draws in the earth, his own body changing into a Huge Earth Elemental!

Nira recognizes the spell and avoids suffocation for the first round. To counter, she sets up a plan with Ramirez, and swiftly casts Dispel Magic at Yolpova, not successful. She Readies a Power Word Blind for the Witch’s next spell and still feels the suffocation spell trying to drive the air from her lungs! (Suffocation: 2 of 3 rounds, Fort DC 33. First fail, fall unconscious)

Hmerrin grimly watches the witch just float off again. The fighter does have a magical haversack and retrieves and drinks a flying potion.

Dragon Danko pouts unprettily as he attempts to hover… (Danko needs to roll Fly DC 15 every round to hover or fly less than ½ speed). Maximized magic missles should get the job done!

Ramirez exhausted and banged up, but will try to Silence the witch in case she tries any more magic.

”BUKK-KAW!” states the Dancing Hut emphatically, and taps Gaffer, invoking an Irresistible Dance! (Gaffer Will DC 25 or Dance for 3 rounds). It heals more.

The incendiary cloud seems stuck in the dome of OddHolme, unable to move forward and unable to damage the dome. (9rds)

Yolpova continues to fly and bleed, getting right up next to Nira. ”Mine!”, she announces conspiratorially, and begins a Quickened spell that causes Nira and Ramirez to blanket her with a Power Word Blind and another Silence spell! Yolpova appeals to her patron, which doesn’t have a verbal component, and the blindness is removed (Divine Appeal (Su) swift action, Remove Blindness)! She then grabs Nira and brings her into a Grapple! (AC30)

Perception DC 15 (many autopasses) The ground at AR17 and AT12 appears to be shaking.

Yrûl will move to AM 10. She reasons that she cannot hit the flying witch, but hitting the "chicken hutch" might stop its rapid recovery - by dint of her bleeding attack. However, given how tired she is, it may be some time before that happens and it's likely that lots more dancing will have to be done first.

"Help! I'm stuck!" Nira thinks to herself. It's enough for her Contingency spell to kick in, activating her Freedom of Movement spell. She slips free from the witch's grasp and notices the ground shaking nearby. "Now what?"

She doesn't have time to worry about it now though. Nira casts a spell to stun the witch, and then reaches out to heal Ram. "Best I can do right now, Ram!"

Despite all the chaos, she does grin at Danko's call.

Yrûl will move to intercept the hut with huge chicken legs.

Danko, a hovering Dragon, sends another volley of magic missles to the witch.

Nira staggers in mid-air (ooc: you are correct) but her Overland Flight keeps her hovering, and her own Contingency is activated which automatically slips her from Yolpova’s grasp! Metamagic rod in hand, Nira uses her previously cast Spectral Hand to provide some much-needed healing to Ramirez!

Desdichado downs the Enlarge Person potion, heals, and also moves towards the Chicken Hut.

Hmerrin launches himself toward the witch, pleased that magical flight is not impeded by how exhausted he feels.

Gaffer shakes of the urge to dance and launches into an attack on the hut, smashing a couple of boards.

Ramirez takes deep breath with the healing from Nira, moves to a good location, and readies his bow. The bard, however, discovers that he can’t draw his composite bow because he is too exhausted! (ooc: need an 18 STR to pull Ram’s bow, and he has -6 STR from exhaustion.)

”Rurr-ur-UUUR!” replies the Dancing Hut to Gaffer, and it kicks hard at the druid shaped like an elder earth elemental. The door-beak smashes into the hero as well, but Gaffer is now too big for the Hut to grab or swallow! (Gaffer takes 58 damage)

Yolpova continues to be stunned and bleed. She can’t even shout ”Mine!”

The ground at AR17 and AT12 is definitely shaking, and the ground around the bleeding Yolpova at AP,02 is also beginning to stir.

Hmerrin, Desdichado, and Ramirez can all feel how incredibly hot it still is on the Sargrass Plains, but it doesn’t, yet, give impairing effects.

No, it seemed logical to assume that the cavorting hut would not bleed. She could however still find a weak spot: that would be her only chance of actually inflicting any damage. As much as Snicket and Dabz were keen to do their best, she lacked the strength to deal any great harm. That situation was only exaggerated by her current lethargy. Nonetheless, she was going to try. being the optimist that she was, Yrul figured that she was bound to be lucky.

(Moves to AG11: double move action at half speed. All this running around is very tiring.)

Yrul optimistically continues to try, moving tiredly towards the Dancing Hut.

Desdichado realizes what's happening, and calls for people to stay away from the stirring ground, as he moves slowly towards the chicken house.

Hmerrin thinks stunned is good. Since Yolpova is on the ground, the fighter flies down to her and tries to cut her in half. The Witch’s Contingency spell kicks in, and she is Healed, which also ends Yrul’s bleeding! And with more than 150 hit points, Nira’s Power Word Stun no longer affects Yolpova!!

Ramirez continues moving towards the witch, putting away his bow as he moves.

Danko provides yet another stream of magic missiles towards witchypoo...

Gaffer heroically keeps the Hut engaged to give space for his allies. He thinks and yes, Yolpova had been bleeding because of Yrul’s attack!

Gaffer is rocked back by the attack from the hut, but he keeps toe to toe with it to make sure there's space for his allies.

Nira is grateful to just have a moment to catch her breath! Bugs are probably coming, but Yolpova is NOT stunned, uses her last charge of Quickened Rod to cast Dispel on Yolpova which doesn’t penetrate, and then another, Greater Dispel, which is countered by a ring worn by Yolpova’s Hand of the Mage!

She's in agreement with Gaffer and Dez. It does feel like the blood is going to attract some extra, unwanted attention.

Gaffer is the only one attacking the Dancing Hut and Yolpova has problems of her own. So the battle of the Titans continues! The Hut fast heals, and kicks, and bites at the elder earth elemental! (Gaffer takes another 58 damage)

Yolpova moves away from Hmerrin (Hmerrin gets an AOO) ”Yolpova’s Hut is Mine! I will kill everything to keep it!” Nira sees the familiar casting: Time Stop! And when things continue, Yolpova is at W,13 and Nira can see a new magical defense on her (Spell Turning). And then, with a tearing sound like the fabric of worlds, it starts to rain.

In a cylinder, 60 foot radius and 30 feet high, tiny droplets of Woldsblood fall from the sky and covers Desdichado, Danko, Gaffer, Hmerrin, Ramirez, and Yrul, pulling at their very souls! (Will DC 28 or Dazed + d3 WIS + d3 CON ability damage). The rain is just below Nira's toes, and she has to Will DC 28 or be Dazed for 1 round. The Woldsblood is not magical, so Spell Resistance doesn’t apply.

Even Yolpova, outside of the rain of Woldsblood, takes a staggered step before recovering from being so close to the soul-pulling effect. The Dancing Hut, as a construct, is unaffected.

The ground at AR17 and AT12 erupts in bugs: thumb-long roaches and beetles; foot-long millipedes, centipedes, and nickelpedes; and other best-not-to-identify-too-closely larvae! The heaviest concentration is around the drops of blood. The ground at AP,02 is really active!

Hmerrin, Desdichado, and Ramirez can all feel how incredibly hot it still is on the Sargrass Plains, but it doesn’t, yet, give impairing effects.

Gaffer feels the rain tug at his mind, but he manages to endure the effect, then defensively casts a healing spell to keep going a little longer.

Hmerrin only has time to look surprised before being overcome by the Woldsblood

Nira sighs. Suddenly things don't seem so bad and she lets her mind drift off.

Ramirez shakes off the dazing effect of the Woldsblood (for this round) and moves over to Hmerrin.

Dragon Danko is not amused. The red rain below him dazes the dragon for a moment.

Yolpova flies up once more, keeping out of the rain, and strikes Nira with a Fireball. “You can’t have it, little Witch!” (Nira takes 34 Fire Damage, Reflex DC 27 for half)

The tiny droplets of Woldsblood continue to fall, and continue to pull at the souls of the heroes. (Desdichado, Gaffer, Hmerrin, Ramirez, and Yrul Will DC 28 or Dazed 1 round and get another + d3 WIS + d3 CON ability damage).

The bugs inside the Forbidden Rain of Woldsblood, immediately curl and die, individually having only a single point of Constitution, their little lives are rounded by sleep.

Gaffer ignores the rain that continues to fall and sighs a little internally. He used to go into melee a lot but he's definitely out of practice now. He laments not casting Magic Fang on himself before his metamagic rod had been drawn into his transformation and continues to battle the hut while he can, greater earthen limbs crashing down on it's wooden exterior.

"I can't help but chuckle at the thought, that after all this the portal might still be inside the vault." He sends to the others, though it might not actually lighten the mood.

Nira, thanks to Ramirez not being Dazed, is able to avoid some of the fireball. The elf-girl dispels the magic that maintained the Woldsblood rain (which disappears without any dampness on the ground), and flies down to Heal Hmerrin, which also removes all exhaustion and ability damage!

Desdichado pulls himself free of the overwhelming presence of Woldsblood, which then disappears, and continues to plod towards the chicken hut. (Double move to fill AD:10 through AE:11.)

Gaffer ignores the rain that soon dissipates, and continues to battle the hut while he can!

Dragon Danko is annoyed, and sends a lightning bolt against Yolpova, which bounces back and strikes Danko! (Danko takes 43 electrical damage, Reflex DC 18 for half)

Yrûl continues to suffer: staggered, fatigued, and stunned. Thankfully, she won't have to save again!

Hmerrin is dazed again, but then the Rain is gone and the Fighter is healed from all exhaustion and ability damage, tries hard to close with the emaciated crone. (double move is fine)

Ramirez is dazed by the Woldsblood rain, and also loses some strength. Thankfully, he has enough energy to sing and the Forbidden Rain is now gone!

The bugs at AR,17 were outside the Forbidden Rain of Woldsblood. They quickly eat all the blood droplets from the ground, and, no other meal close by, start burrowing back into the ground. The earth violently moves with their bodies.

Tired, battered and confused, somehow Yrûl's instincts kick in. She tucks and rolls and somehow evades all of the Incendiary Cloud. (Improved Evasion) Blinking as she stood, she wondered what was the sensible thing to do. Probably she should be dancing, but she was so tired. Maybe if she took her clothes off she could distract the bad guys! it was an idea. As ideas went, it was not her best, but all traces of common sense had been stripped from her.

Nira is glad that Ram was able to keep up his song. With his boost to her morale she's able to avoid all of the fire damage.

"This is going to make it tough. She has a spell turning spell in effect. That's why Danko's lightning bolt got flipped back. We can't affect her with any direct spells until it gets worn down. Further, that anti-life shell will prevent anyone getting close to her. Anyone willing to hit her with a spell to weaken her turning?"

Nira is running out of spells slots. The only positive she can see is that the witch will be too. She takes the healing staff from her kit and uses it to heal Ram.

She isn't sure what Yrul is up to, but figures she needs help the most and will be next on Nira's list for some healing.

Someone was calling her name. That was her name wasn't it? Yes, yes, of course it was! It was just the absurdity of it. Run? Really? Yrûl's feet felt leaden. she felt weak and disoriented. Which way was she suppose to run? So many questions.

Yrûl tucks and rolls and somehow evades all of the Incendiary Cloud. She hears Nira and the exhausted drow stumbles toward the Mystic as best she can. (ooc: Yrûl makes it to AK,7 = double move at ½ speed)

Nira tells the others of Yolpova’s enhanced defenses, and only hopes the BloodWitch can run out of spells before she kills anyone. The elf-girl heals Ramirez and calls for Yrûl to come to her for more healing.

Desdichado engages the Hut, but misses his own attack.

Gaffer plans a withdraw, diving into the earth below, and gets a single chicken claw. (Withdraw is no AOO for the first 5’, but Gaffer had to go 15’ to be out of AOO.) (Gaffer takes 16 damage)

Hmerrin turns around and sprints back to his bow.

Ramirez draws his bow, and looks to put it back into use, getting through Yolpova’s tough defenses with a shot!

Dragon Danko turns and flies back down to the ground at full speed, trying to bait the Witch into following.

The Dancing Hut, healing more, is smart enough to know Desdichado is immune to its Irresistible Dance, and just claws and bites the Paladin. The Paladin is cut three times (Des takes 52 damage) and quite surprisingly, the Dancing Hut picks up the Large Paladin and pops Desdichado into its mouth!!

Once again, the paladin finds himself stripped of all active spells and in a wildly warping wooden room!

Exhaustion: instantaneous effect, so there is no magic keeping Des exhausted

Dragon Danko is feeling a but hopeless.. it shouldn't be this difficult to defeat this witch.

Nira flies towards Yrul, and Heals the drow of all wounds, exhaustion, and Wisdom damage!

Dragon Danko is beginning to wonder if the Tide can defeat the Witch, and tries to blast her with a Disintegration ray! The spell rebounds off of Yolpova and strikes Danko! (75 damage, Fort DC 21 to only take 12) Nira can see the good news is Yolpova’s Spell Turning has been burned out.

Desidchado, protected a little by his Aura of Righteousness, is swallowed and he starts banging on the door, making little headway against its hardness.

Gaffer moves through the earth and glides up near the two elf-girls.

Hmerrin scoops up his bow and uses Yolpova’s tactic of using the Incendiary Cloud as cover to get closer

Yrûl, healed in health, daze, AND all Wisdom damage, is happy to again try to tackle the dancing chicken coop. She considers getting deliberately swallowed, but realizes that she wouldn’t be flanking with anyone when inside the warping wood structure that Hmerrin, Desdichado, and Ramirez have all experienced.

The Dancing Hut, now completely healed, blows out a third Incendiary Cloud at the congregated Nira, Yrul, Hmerrin, and Gaffer. (all 4 take 26 fire damage and can’t see while in the cloud. Reflex DC 25 for half damage)

Desdichado sees the wood is hard, and the few bits of damage he was able to get through completely heals on the door! And just like before, the Hut spits the paladin out onto the hard ground (6 damage), but this time he lands in an Incendiary Cloud! (26 fire damage and can’t see while in the cloud. Reflex DC 25 for half damage)

The first incendiary cloud seems stuck in the dome of OddHolme, unable to make it extra crispy. (15rds)

The second incendiary cloud moves to the south-east. (3rds)

Yolpova, all other heroes in obscuring and firey clouds, turns on Danko. A Quickened True Strike spell, and the Spectral Hand touches the bronze dragon, inflicting him with a Focused Curse of Leprosy (Focused Curse: Bloodwitch supernatural power, no save, no spell resistance). Danko immediately takes 2 Charisma ability damage (and potential loss of bonus spells)!

"Oh. Thankyou-thank you." Yrûl gushed as her lethargy vanished. more, she was now able to think coherently; well, as coherently as she ever did, at least.

"I'll go slide around behind the chicken coop if someone can hit it at the front. I should - hopefully - be able to give it something extra to think about." It was all that she managed to say before being engulfed in a burning cloud of soot! (Save failed. Yes, Yrul's good fortune persists. She still only takes half damage: Improved Evasion. I've taken off the 12 damage sustained, but not added the healing received as I do not know the number.)

Yrûl will then circle around - stealthily (utilising her Fast Stealth ability) - to get to AD3. (Double move. No attack. Yrul can "pierce the Darkness, so can find her way out of the smoke readily enough. (Stealth: 46)

Nira can't see Gaffer within the incendiary cloud, and there's not much she can do for him until she can. She's been a little burnt by the cloud, and not being at full health, could be in real trouble against a Power Word spell. Fortunately the witch is also hurt. This could come down to whoever is able to cast the spell the quickest! "I have to take this shot!"

Nira flies out of the incendiary cloud and close enough to target the witch with the powerful spell. She can only hope it's enough.

If she catches sight of Gaffer she'll cast a Quickened Resist Energy (Fire) on him to keep him safe for one more round.

Yrûl’s lethargy vanishes, and the drow gives Nira the dancer’s plan before she all but vanishes into the shadows.

Hmerrin steps out of the cloud and fires a volley at the witch, striking once.

Nira gets a bit burnt, but doesn’t slow down. She takes a chance to fly close enough to Yolpova and strike her with a Power Word Stun. It works!

Desdichado also steps out of the cloud and sends a prayer to Domi, affecting everyone except Danko and Ramirez.

Dragon Danko shakes off most of the disintegration ray, contracts leprosy, and sends another spell at Yolpova. Unfortuneately, a Finger of Death spell is a death effect, which is completely blocked by her Deathward spell!

Ramirez starts circling around the silence spell and gets a line of sight to loose one arrow, but misses.

Ooc: DM Steve adjudicating Gaffer’s turn because the post has 2 rounds worth of actions. Move out of the cloud, full round casting a summoning spell, then moving again. Because the only direction that Gaffer can move out of the Incendiary Cloud, not stand on another hero that moved, and not draw an AOO from the Dancing Hut is into the Silence Spell, the safest direction for Gaffer is earthglide down.

Gaffer emerges from the earth into a cloud of smoke and cinder and heeds Nira's advice to dive back into the earth, his summoning spell not cast.

With the cavorting chicken coop occupied by Desdichado. (Yrûl refused to call that 'dancing'!) She advanced stealthily, but swiftly to bravely attack it from the rear. She was certainly no match for Desdichado in combat, so it paid to be prudent. (Sneakiness: 44)

Yrûl then attacked.

The first strike hit! (10 damage+15 sneak attack. No bleed against constructs. +3 weapon, so sneak may obviate the DR?)
Main hand second attack: hits AC:34 only. (I forgot to add in the spell bonuses so thought she'd missed) 12 damage and 11 from her sneak attack.
Main hand third attack: 36. 9 damage and 8 from sneakiness - she tickled it.
Off Hand first attack: AC:34 hit. 9 damage plus 7 sneakiness. (An even lighter tickle.)
Second off hand attack: AC:40 hit. 10 damage plus 8 sneakiness.(another graze)

Thanks to the magical aid she'd received Yrûl was able to strike true on each of her attacks! Sadly, she didn't really seem to be having much of an impression and so would no doubt end up dancing again. At least she could do that a lot better than the chicken coop.

Yrûl sneaks up to the Hut, avoiding any AOO, and can attack once. She can definitely see that her picks are the wrong material to penetrate the Huts damage resistance.

Desdichado finds that keeping in the fight and able to soak up punishment is his main contribution so far, and begins banging on the door with his axe.

Danko growls, he was trying to hit a homer, and instead was one. The disciple reminds himself that tried-and-true works well, and sends yet another volley of maximized magic missiles at Yolpova

Hmerrin grins, he is finally getting enough magical support while also having a target. He lets go another volley.

Ramirez fires arrows at the dancing hut, striking once.

Nira delays, and with telepathic communication not being a problem, coordinates for the druid to come up out of the ground and get healed!

Gaffer, on his part, moves up, gets healed, and then calls down a third FlameStrike spell! Yolpova saves and her resist spell absorbs most of the fire damage, but half is divine, not fire…

Unable to fight back, Yolpova is riddled with spell and bolt, and is unable even to utter ‘mine’ one last time before she succumbs to her wounds. (dies)

Yolpova may be gone, but the Dancing Hut continues to battle! Healing, it charges at Ramirez (Yrul can take an AOO), its door beak screaming silently (because it just ran into the Silence spell), and … misses Ramirez! (nat 1)

Desdichado does not get spit out and is still within the wildly warping room. What’s more, the buffeting about is causing some significant bruising! (Desdichado takes 28 damage)

Nira mocks the dead Yolpova, but knows the battle is far from over. She moves to her wizard spells, and casts a spell of Scorching Rays!.

Gaffer is grateful for the heal, and the battle is going well enough that he starts in on the jokes again. He quickly casts another spell on himself, then moves to confront the Dancing Hut once again. The chicken leg strikes out at the druid in an opportunistic attack, but misses! (ooc: geez, now the DM is rolling terrible!)

Ramirez backs off from the claws of the hut and ponders his next move. Luckily, Gaffer has already drawn out the Hut’s attack of opportunity, so the bard is able to get away.

Yrûl sighed. Why wouldn't the silly shed just keep still and get hit? She lashed out at it, but cut only air and barely any of that. She quickly looked around hoping that no-one had noticed such an appalling miss. "Come on, Snicket. This is no time for games." She whispered reproachfully to one of her picks. she then followed the hut once more, striving again for stealth....or not.

Gaffer is surprised to realise the amount of power he is feeling as various magical effect run through him and then just as quickly Ramirez disappears and the magic with him.

Nira grins at Gaffer's compliment. It was a pretty low bar to be called his favorite witch when the only other one had been trying to kill them, but she'll take it.

She uses her spectral hand to deliver a Freedom of Movement spell on Hmerrin to help him stay out of the huts claws.

Yrûl sighed, this is NOT the way to impress the new friends! She reproaches Snicket, but in a Silence spell, it is only the look of admonishment that comes out. So distracted is the drow dancer that she just trots right up to the Hut and forgets that a Grease spell is still on the Grass… Whether she slips or not is all academic, as the Hut flashes out a huge chicken leg, snatches her up, and pops Yrûl into its mouth! (Yrûl takes 19 damage)

Hmerrin keeps firing, at the advancing Hut, taking advantage of the buffs while he can. He no longer has Inspire Courage, because Ramirez is on a different Plane, but he does strike once…

Desdichado keeps trying to attack the door, and welcomes Ramirez as he suddenly appears inside.

Gaffer lashes out at the hut as it chases after Ramirez then, smacks it again, because Gaffer doesn’t have to move to reach with his Huge 15’ arms! (Gaffer can get a full attack: roll once more for last round)

Nira grins at Gaffer's low bar, and uses her spectral hand to deliver a Freedom of Movement spell on Hmerrin.

Ramirez arrives to greet Desdichado, and tries adamantine arrows, which bypass hardness (and often some DR in the Wold, too…) It does a number on the Door…

Danko returns to human and trots to Yolpova’s body, maybe there is a control mechanism? A quick search of the emaciated (and burned body that has been feathered with many arrows) finds one unusual thing among her usual clothing; shoes; and many necklaces, rings, bangles, pouches, and other implements: Yolpova has the glint of bright silver chainmail underneath her clothing! To gain any more information, Danko is going to need to roll a Perception Check and/or use a Detect Magic or Identify spell.

The Dancing Hut heals some but not completely, and takes a step to go toe-to-toe with Gaffer (and Hmerrin is also in reach). Though there is a Prayer against it, it is lucky Gaffer was recently healed (ooc: please update header) for the Chicken Hut still claws and bites at the druid-elemental and wrecks a fearful carnage! (Gaffer takes 44 damage)

The Door heals some but not completely.

Desdichado and Ramirez find Yrûl joins them in the wildly warping interior. What’s more, they notice the room grows to make room for all three of them. Well, just enough room to be held and bounced about! The Shadowdancer just got here, but Desdichado and Ramirez take 26 damage!

Well, this day was determined to just keep on giving. It was definitely ALL Dabz fault! Still, perhaps he could find a way to vindicate himself. Of course, Snickit would want ALL the glory, as usual; if there was any to be found.

Yrûl relied on her acrobatic dancing skills to try to mitigate the erratic jolting of the bizarre room. (Acrobatics:43) She then swiftly brought both Snickit and Dabz to bear against the door?

Yrûl, Desdichado, and Ramirez break down the door and tumble out. Even landing in the Grease spell, Yrûl stays on her feet (ooc: thanks to previous Acrobatics roll), but Dez and Ram might be prone! (Acrobatics DC 15)

Hmerrin goes back to his favorite weapon and strikes hard once.

Nira starts casting a summoning spell to bring in a little aid.

Danko can see the armor is made of finely woven silvery chainmail, so fine that it could be worn under clothing without notice. He tries to join Plan A, but is unable to get past the Hut’s spell resistance.

The Dancing Hut heals some, and despite a large group of opponents right in front of it, doesn’t blow another incendiary cloud (maybe it is all out?) Instead, it keeps attacking Gaffer, hard. (Gaffer takes 48 damage)

Perhaps her luck was turning? She wasn't going to place any money on that. Instead, Yrûl decided that it would be best to push what limited good fortune she had and attack the hut's legs! Picks, Axes, flames, and a disintegration spell that finally gets through the Dancing Hut's spell resistance does the job. The legs buckle, and the Hut comes crashing to the ground!

But the Hut doesn't break, the chicken legs are still there. It is apparent that there is probably not a power wielded by mortals that could turn this fantastic construct into ruin. The Hut is still a Hut. The walls, roof, and floor are still intact. The door to the Hut is back on its hinges and healing and closed, but a quick check by Yrul confirms it is unlocked and untrapped.

Around the Tide, there are scorch marks of fire and lightning. Dirt and dust have been kicked up and swirled about by feet, claws, wings, and the impacts of bodies. Two Oddholme huts lay in cinders and a third leans drunkenly from when it caught the by-blows of the Chicken Hut and an Elder Earth Elemental.

All of the Tide have been awake for more than 15 hours and have fought two battles today. (Fort DC 15 or take 1d4 nonlethal damage and become fatigued.) Although they dare not stop... there is no telling when the Hut will disappear!!

Yrul, Ramirez, Desdichado, and Hmerrin are feeling the heat of the Sargrass. (Another Fort DC 15 or take 1d4 nonlethal damage and become fatigued.)

And as dusk turns to full night, the heroes hear a rising sound: applause and acclaim from all the inhabitants of OddHolme!

The lethargy and heat were almost overwhelming, but the rush of adrenaline from the madness of the fight was still coursing through Yrul's veins and she barely registered the fact that she was so tired. She really should sit down, preferably somewhere cool. Yet she felt that she didn't have the right to rest, not after she had done so little to help the extremely competent group with whom she now found herself.

"Um, sorry I wasn't much help." She apologised to all that were within earshot. "It was Snickit...and Dabz wasn't being very helpful either. And then that hut thing wouldn't keep still. Oh, then there was all the dancing. So...um...yeah, sorry about all that." After a pause she looked up with a beaming smile. "It was really good dancing though, wasn't it?"

"Well, assuming Vyrnix' clock is right, we've got ten-ish hours before the gate moves again.
Which brings us to an important question.
Do we have enough left to take on a plane full of raks and the Maharaja?
I'm serious.
If we go in there and get killed, they're free to come back to the Wold.

Did the witch have a way to control the hut? Might be useful to figure that out before it repairs itself. Looks like the village isn't upset with us. Hopefully no one was hurt in those huts. Maybe they will give us more information now, seems like they weren't too fond of the witch.

The Tide gathers and relaxes in various states of tiredness. Together they try to address three issues.

First, Danko gathers Yolpova's armor, various bangles, rings, necklaces, and pouches that might contain things of value. With Nira looking over his shoulder, Danko also takes off witchypoo's cloak: the elf-girl sees it is radiating a strong abjuration magic.

Second, they have to fend off both fatigue, heat, and the accolades of the villagers, who come to the Tide, build a fire, and are having an impromptu party. In 20 minutes, Prairie Pig steaks are passed out, a savory stew of this-and-that is there for anyone, and various cleaned and prepared tubers, stalks, and seed pods in woven baskets. The heroes know these people don't have much, but what they have, they freely share.

The heroes realize that time isn't on their side, when, before the steaks are passed out, the heat and tiredness of the day comes over the heroes again. (All FortDC 16 or d4 non-lethal and be fatigued. Hmerrin, Yrul, and Ramirez a 2nd Fort DC 16 or d4 non-lethal and be fatigued.)

Third is what to do about the Hut. Nira (with her Arcana 40), can now recognize this is the immortal structure known as Baba Yaga's Hut! In her hundreds of years of study, she knows it will stay put for a couple hours, but there is no telling beyond that: certainly NOT enough time for a full 8 hours of rest and recovery! She also knows that, while intelligent and independent, Baba Yaga (and apparently Yolpova) had a means to control the Hut, and it should do something with taking control of the Cauldron that is rumored to be inside the Hut.

Without that control, the Tide will lose the Hut and also never be able to choose the right plane for shifting to. Further, now that the Tide have encountered the Hut, it won't stay put until the end of Vyrnix's divination. The heroes now have only a couple of hours to gain control!

There is no choice. If the heroes want to control the gate to the Rakshasa Plane, they will need to prepare themselves while not resting, enter the Hut, and seek out the means to control it before it spits them out and walks away.

Yrul was happy to sit and eat. She still felt too tired and beaten up to dance around -which she would most certainly have done ordinarily. The food helped, albeit she really wasn't much of a meat-eater. She was happy to try and help locate the cauldron, but felt largely in the hands of the others. perhaps they had a way to lessen the fatigue. Even if they didn't, she would still try her best. At least it wasn't as hot inside the hut.

Nira looks over the wounded group and tries to work out the best way to treat everyone. "I'm not sure when we'll get to rest again so I need to manage my spells."

She casts a Remove Disease spell on Danko to treat his leprosy and a Lesser Restoration spell on Des. After that she tries to take stock of how everyone is looking.

"I won't treat anyone's fatigue until we're out of this heat. Which probably means inside the hut"

Nira heads to the door of the hut but then looks back. She sees that Ram has turned back to the village and calls out to him "You comin', Ram?"

She isn't going to leave Ram alone out here.

Seeing that "Desi" had entered the hut, Yrul followed. It was only right that she cast her 'expert' eye over things. After all, Dancers had a good eye for detail.
