LOG ON |
Goblin Seal of Paper Person. When the seal is broken a 2"inch in height paper person figurine appears. By grabbing its head and feet and pulling in the opposite direction, you will cast Enlarge Person on the person holding the paper person figurine. The spell functions like the regular Enlarge Person spell does. When the spell is spent, you have an elongated paper person figurine for your collection & memories of an empowering time! She then turns toward the x,y point of 6",4.5", arrow nocked, rope on right hip, ready to take action next round. "BACKSTEP, SIOLO!"
The spell lasts for four minutes, and Grim (if he takes it) doubles his height and multiplies his weight by 8. He becomes Large. He gains size results of +2 to Strength, -2 to Dexterity, and a -1 penalty on attack rolls and AC due to his increased size. The bonus to strength and dexterity effectively balance out so there is no net change to attack rolls. There is a +1 bonus to damage with melee weapons.
"Lord Gargul, I pray first to you. Never have I met you, though I have known two others who claimed to have done so. I thank you for the role you play, the role you earned, in standing in judgment over the souls of those creatures who have souls. You returned to life one of those whom I met, as the other stood as a witness before you and his recently deceased companion. Bless you Lord, that none of us was assigned to meet you this day. Should the time come when we do enter your presence, grant us grace, humility, fortitude, truth, correction, justice, and mercy, as you choose. But again, I am thankful that this was not that day. I wish to honor you in life so long as I might. The bard's hands drop to her sides, and she says, "Selah!"
"Lord Wardd, whom Dapple serves, we know that luck can seem capricious. Though we had more than one moment of concern this day, it seems the odds were tipped in our favor. Part of that was through the choices we made to help one another. Part of that was - what? I know not. Risk... reward... ventures... gains, or losses - luck may play a part in each. Yet, as Ezekiel acknowledges, Lord Ffloy also shares an interest in that realm. Perhaps we, working together, make our own luck. But also, we are grateful insofar as you two divine gentlemen - if that be the proper word - help nudge the flow of events toward the good.
"Lord Domi, Patron of Courage - help us to make courageous choices as we work together. When we experience deep pain, when we draw near to death, it may happen that fear arise in our hearts. Help us to face those fears, and temper them, lest we lose our heart to cowardice. Strengthen our hearts, grant us intestinal fortitude, that we may be overcomers and not succumbers. For strong hearts, we pray, Lord Domi.
"Lady Flower, let love deepen among this group of adventurers. Let us be willing to sacrifice our own comforts for the sake of our friends, when such be required. Knit together, bit by bit, our hearts.
"Lord Pantheon, the woman Maya feels herself just for augmenting the abilities of the great lizards, and has now on four occasions, to our knowledge, sent her modified 'saurs against the people of this area. We feel that justice cries out against her. I do not understand all, nor know all. But guide us as regards the monstrologer, for her actions have led to the death of the innocent. Nevertheless, I perceive she is not without conscience, for I saw in her eyes she was vexed at her role in the death of my young, sweet brother. Grant to us, I pray, in time, to see these things as you might see them.
"Lady Serenbeth, watch over our families, distant though some of ours be from us, and the families of Cloudhaven. Our lives on this plateau are not easy, but close relations help us in many ways. Let us be loyal, and giving, to those to whom we are related. And, for those of us who survive the life of the adventurer, grant some of us the possibility to form families of our own, in due course."
She raises her hands a bit higher. "Lord Alemi, thank you for our well being. I bless you for the little I know of the healing arts, and for my friends who also share in some of these skills, even more so than I."
Then Yofiel lifts up her left hand as she addresses the Great One for the first time in prayer. "Lord Great One - I cannot say I know much of you so far. But our friend Grim tells of how you spoke to members of his tribe. From what he has said, I perceive you also to be among the wise of the heavenly hosts. If you would choose, some time, to speak with us, then I, for one, will keep open my ears. Do bless us, if you so choose."
Though a few may think this is the end of her prayer, it is not quite over. She lowers her left hand, and raises her right heavenward.
"Lady Maab and Lord Eberyon - We are told that you together formed many of the animals of the Wold. Thank you for having done so. Teach us how best we might live in harmony with those we might, and how to defend against those we must, and wisdom to know when, and where, and how to do this."
She raises both hands, "Now, Lords and Ladies above, I pray you hear the petitions of my friends, whether spoken aloud, or quietly whispered from their hearts."
