Kaida approaches the group, holding up her latest acquisition: a rugged leather cord with a sharp, slightly yellowed tooth tied securely in place. The tooth emits a faint, soft glow. "I found this at the Giggling Ghost party" she begins, turning the talisman over in her hands for everyone to see. "I’m not sure where it came from, but it looks pretty tough, don’t you think? I was thinking of gifting it to Sven."
Her grin widens, eyes sparkling with excitement. "To make it a little more special, I asked some heroes of the Wold to say a blessing, a prayer, or just some well wishes on it. I figure it might make a nice lucky talisman for him."
Kaida glances around at the group, her tone turning more earnest. "Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without the rest of you adding a word or two. What do you say? Though, to be fair, it might be tough to top Frit's words."

Nadia goes about her day planning the trip back, trying to ensure that everything is going the right way. She checks and double checks the supplies, and then checks again.

But it might be kind of holy symbol, and it is already blessed by love, and Flower appreciates creativity. f you allow me, I'd like to add a bit. I have an idea. I'll go get some flowers", Nora says as Kaida gives the talisman to Sven and Ingrida, and goes outside.
A while later, she returns, tying some flowers into a wreath with more in her bag. "Flowers for beauty, bound together as love binds, blessed by music and song", she explains. She makes an improvised altar of a table, placing the talisman inside the finished wreath. Then she takes her lute, and invites anyone willing to join as she starts playing. "It's for family, so let's sing the traditional family songs everybody knows" she says, and starts to sing a classic song.
After the songs she hands the talisman to Sven. "I don't know what blessing that gives, if any. At least my love." She then picks the wreath, and turns it in her hands a couple of times. "The flowers will soon fade, as so many beautiful things, but the memory remains. You can wear it while it lasts, or take it to a temple, or whatever feels right", she says and offers the wreath to Ingrida.
Later, she packs her things to return to Drakesmeade. "It would be so good to rest at home for a while. To plan what to do next, and see what has happened there."

Nadia votes in favor of bringing Sylvie along, knowing that more smart and strong people are better than fewer of them, especially as the adventurer’s must move on.
Fritjof suggests meeting her first as she isn’t the only companion that the party needs to consider.
Both Nora and Hamlin agree that sending a letter of interest and meeting her first is the right plan.
Aymar sees that the majority is already in favor and simply encourages haste.
Aydi follows the agreement of the party but privately shares their thoughts with their fellow elvish speaker.
Kaida in turn asks their own question in gnomish to the others.
A letter sent, and soon an invitation received, Sylvie keenly requests the group join her for tea at her home, 7 Gwenipa Road, at noon. The address leads the party into a wealthy neighbourhood where they find a tiny house, a cottage really, clearly an outbuilding of a larger, luxurious home. It is nestled behind a short walkway, lined with purple and blue flowers in bloom. The main house is amongst the largest in Thistleport, and its woodwork carved with intricate patterns of ivy. Thie tiny cottage is like the main house in miniature, with the same woodwork, only teensy. At the tiny cottage, a small wooden door with a ornate knocker stands before the party.

Growing up the way he did, he can’t help the feeling that he doesn’t belong in a place like this, and try as he might, he’s unable to dismiss those feeling of inadequacy.

Aymar is glad his natural charm will get him through this encounter.
The door opens, and a young lady welcomes you. “Hi, I’m Sylvie. Thank you for answering my posting. Please come in.”
Her hair is in a french braid, and her green dress is lovely and embroidered in stars.
Inside the cottage is just one big room. There is a small kitchen area. A few cupboards. A ring of chairs has been set up, and a tiny table in the center has a tiny tea set. The cups are sized for halflings, maybe? You all can barely squeeze in. Some of the chairs squeak ominously under the heavier heroes.
“Please come have tea,” Sylvie says. She carefully pours and serves each of you a tiny teacup filled with lukewarm sugar water. There is a platter of small fancy cookies, just as Kaida had imagined.
“I’m hoping you all will agree to take me adventuring,” Sylvie says. She seems very young.

Kaida grins as she looks around the playhouse, clearly amused. She straightens in her chair, placing her teacup delicately on its saucer and giving Sylvie a polite nod.
"Thank you for the invitation, Miss Sylvie," she says, her tone formal. "Your hospitality is impeccable. And this tea! A fine blend indeed. The sweeter the better I say" She sips the sugar water with a graceful air, then carefully selects a cookie, holding it as though it were a refined delicacy.
As Sylvie makes her request, Kaida’s cheerful demeanor falters for a second. She sets the teacup carefully on the tiny table. "Adventuring, huh?" She smiles softly, trying to keep her tone light. "You know, adventuring can be really dangerous. It’s not all tea parties and cookies out there. But, uh..." Kaida hesitates, glancing at the others for support.
Truth be told, there have been a lot of cookies lately.

Frit gives Aydi a small nod, glad his friend understands some of the source of his discomfort. He gratefully accepts Hamlin’s offer to clean him up a bit.
Once inside the cottage, Frit’s discomfort is replaced with confusion and then regret in coming here. They should have listened to Aymar. He barely squeezes into one of the small chairs and picks up one of the tiny teacups as daintily as he can. He schools his features as he sips the sugar water.
As the others speak to her, Frit carefully attends to her body language and tone as she responds, hoping to pick up more information about her motives.

Taking a bit of a charge, because she frankly was curious to what kind of adventure the female was looking for, Nadia starts with, "Adventure be fun and all, but what do you bring with you? Besides adventure isn't always fun, not safe. If you can not defend yourself, you may be a harm. So what skills you have?"
Nadia keeps her tone polite, but clearly is more business oriented than others about this. She was almost one of the oldest members after all.

Aydi and Aymar seem a bit at sea.
Kaida has a take on the situation, but seems reluctant to confront Sylvie with whatever she has deduced.
Frit senses that she is entirely sincere and excited, a bit nervous, and hldes no malice in her heart.
Nadia and Kaida emphasize the danger. Nadia asks about her skills. Sylvie proudly takes out a wand, that is, a long thin piece of wood with a star mounted on top and ribbons tied just under the star. She waves her wand around, and you hear faint musical sounds and see little sparks.

“See, I just need a bit more training!” Sylvie exclaims.

I can pay you!” She takes out three pieces of fine jewelry, a necklace, a tiara, and a bracelet. They glitter with gold and jewels.
She looks at you expectantly.

Kaida watches Sylvie’s wand display with a warm smile and recognises one of her own. "You know, Sylvie, when I was your age, I started noticing I could do things that others couldn’t. Magic, like yours."
She pauses. "It started as games, really but I quickly learned it can also be unpredictable and powerful. My family helped me find a mentor who taught me how to control it."
Kaida raises a hand and with a few gestures creates an tiny illusory unicorn on the table, prancing between the teacups.
She looks at Sylvie. "You remind me of me back then. You’ve got talent, but adventuring... well." Kaida’s tone softens. "It’s a dangerous world out there, and the more prepared you are, the better your adventures will be."
With a warm smile she gently pushes the jewellery back toward Sylvie. "Training is free of charge. If you’re serious about learning and growing, I’d love to help you right here in Thistleport. If it's ok with your parents of course. Once you can do magic like this - on command, with confidence - then you’ll be ready to take on the Wold. What do you think?"
Kaida lets the unicorn prance a little longer before it fades away.

I do know what it feels like to be stuck in a place that you don't feel is for you. Anyway, it would be better to leave your family on good terms, and not sneak away in the night", Nora tries to advance carefully the discussion.
"Actually, Thistleport as a trade center is more lively than most places. At least if you are not stuck at home. I don't mean travelling is boring, there's just a lot here already.", she comments Sylvia's complaint.

Frit finds the child’s comments about her family concerning, but he knows that he is out of his depth when it comes to any discussion of the arcane. He sits back and lets his friends, who are all far more knowledgeable about that sort of thing, take the lead. Sylvie is in good hands with Kaida and Nora and the others.

Frit becomes quiet as the conversation turns to Sylvie’s magical ability
Kaida draws from her past experiences as a young mage to give a compassionate warning to Sylvie of the dangers that come with untrained magic, and a kind offer of training that might set Sylvie of the path she wishes for, while gently returning the jewelry to the child.
Nora recognises Sylvie’s potential and sympathizes with her plight but encourages the child not to sneak off in the night, while also pointing out that many places are less exciting than Thistleport.
Nadia relies on a tried and true method, ask the parents! While assuring Sylvie that they would bring her along if her parents agree.
With a warm smile, Hamlin puts forth an exciting idea, an adventure right here! With the party taking the roles of monsters.
Sylvie hardly recognises the discouragement away from adventuring within her new companions replies, as she latches onto multiple offers of training and grins with excitement.
Aymar, still reserved, is quiet.
Aydi is encouraging about training or a little sparring right here ... but not joining the party to travel on a dangerous adventure.
But Sylvie grabs onto the positive comments and gets excited.
”Maybe we can train now, I can show you how good my magic is! Then, you could tell my parents what a good adventurer I can be. They would let me go then, and… and you can train me while I travel with you!” Having put together a perfect plan, Sylvie beams while looking hopefully at the party around her tea table.

Kaida can’t help but smile as she listens to Sylvie’s enthusiasm.
"You’ve got a lot potential" Kaida begins warmly. "And I can see how much this means to you. But I think the first step in any great adventure is making sure everyone around you supports your journey. That means your parents too. They know you best, and they’d want to see you thrive too."
She leans forward "Why don’t we start by talking to them? You can explain your dreams, and maybe we can come up with a plan to help you grow right here in Thistleport, for now. Training, learning, and proving just how ready you are. And once everyone agrees you’re prepared, the adventures will come to you."
Kaida can’t help but reflect on how odd it would seem for a group of strangers to be talking to a child about whisking them away without speaking to their parents first - even just about schooling them! They've probably already overstepped.

Aymar sees that the girl possess a gift but it must be nurtured more before she can put it to practical use. He is glad the most of the party seems to be in that line of thought. He stays back and allows them to continue, adding more voices at this stage could just confuse her.

Frit stays quiet, fondly observing his friends as they speak to Sylvie. He's glad that they were the ones who answered the girl's notice and not another group who might have been cruel or unscrupulous when dealing with her. His friends are good people.
He manages another swallow of sugar water just to be polite.

Nadia agrees with just going and speaking to the parents before anything more is decided. If they truly didn't care, then the girl had bigger issues than just strangers coming by.
