Caedmon unleashes a flurry of arrows at the Monster and all of them hit, as usual most of the damage seems to be absorbed.
Tishe` casts a fireball at the monster and it deftly avoids at least half of the damage.
Lia casts Haste on those around the table in that corner of the room, then casts spell turning to try and protect herself from further spell damage.
Rinn gets an AoO, but then loses his target because it's too high up in the air.
Revi charges at Ember who is a mist and chops at it, doing some damage.
Thar shoots the Monster, hitting one time.
Truman finds the Oni, just after it attacked Caedmon, and hits him, but fails to grapple him.

Ember turns solid and attacks Revi, slamming into her with her fists, doing 14 damage and 2 negative levels. both of the follow up punches (fingernails) missed.
The Monster swoops in behind her and attacks with a large elven curve blade. It critically hits her doing 45 damage with it.
The only popped out of invisibility and attacks Caedmon hitting him one time doing 13 damage.
From above the "archer" shoots at Lia again, this time she has some cover. She gets hit one time, the cover didn't help with the arrow that struck true. She takes 3 damage and 4 from the cold.
Skalipy who still seems not to be found, unleashes a Fire Storm on the room. Damage 57 DC 25 Reflex for half. If save failed take 11 damage for being on fire.

The Monster looks very hurt, even with it's reduction of all the damage that's being done to it.
Ember has been hit, hard, but not seriously.
The Oni has taken some damage.

Archer unknown

Fire Storm

When a fire storm spell is cast, the whole area is shot through with sheets of roaring flame. The raging flames do not harm natural vegetation, ground cover, or any plant creatures in the area that you wish to exclude from damage. Any other creature within the area takes 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 20d6). Creatures that fail their Reflex save catch on fire, taking 4d6 points of fire damage each round until the flames are extinguished. Extinguishing the flames is a full-round action that requires a DC 20 Reflex save.

Lia gets hit by yet another arrow, and starts to feel a bit like a pin cushion. That changes to feeling like a pig on a spit as the room erupts in flames. She quickly pats out the fire that starts on her sleeve and looks about the room for a number of things - a safe spot to hide, a healer, and the dwarf.

Saving against the worst of the Fire Storm, Revi is pretty hurt and ready to get some payback. (save 29 - 2neg levels = 27 save)

Tishe' blinks but can do nothing more as the sheets of fire run through the room (ooc: affecting the opponents too?) and she is in flames!

The witch realizes that her seconds are numbered and realizes that the others are nothing compared to the incredible power Skalipy has discovered. He needs to be found so when her packmates are able to defeat the minions, they can concentrate on the master.

Tishe' goes defensive, digging into her other dimensional pockets and pulling out a scroll. Tishe' knows Ember is engaged with Revi and should be occupied, and hopes that with what may be her last act before death, that the spell goes well. Ignoring the flames blackening her skin and shrivelling her hair, she casts the spell into the room!

(DM - I've got SR 26 so could you let me know if Skailpy's firestorm gets through it or not?)

Thar and Truman feel the intense heat from the flames, and he tries to duck to avoid most of it (Reflex = 32) and only takes ??? pts of dmg (depending on SR - if it gets through, then 26 pts)... Meanwhile, Truman isn't so lucky and takes the full brunt of the fire, taking 57 points of dmg...

For now, Truman will continue biting and grabbing at the Oni, trying to keep it pinned down for now, and uses his Smite Evil too to add to his attacks...

Attack = Claw 1 = Hit AC 35 for 27 dmg
Attack = Claw 2 = Hit AC 29 for 27 dmg

Thar looks at the cage behind him quickly to see Kahlan's condition... "Can you get up and help out in this fight? Are you sick or healthy?" he calls, hoping that he can somehow break into the cage to get his friend out...

He'll cast Holy Smite too, calling upon holy and divine energy to crush these wicked foes...... It's got a 20' radius burst, so he wants to get it at ~ D19, 5' in the air to hit Ember, the Omni, the Monster (who's flying but will still get hit since w/in 20' of center of spell) and possibly even Skalipy... He'll boost it up with his rod of empowerment too, increasing the variable dmg by 50%...

Caedmon shakes off the effects of the Firestorm and keeps plugging away at the flying monster, certain he will drop it this round.

Ember, in mid attack from Revi, dissolves into a mist again, and further attacks seem to just pass through her.
The monster, just vanishes at the same time as Ember became mist.... Or, did it actually die?
The Oni dies in an explosion with a 20' radius. Fort save DC 28 or take 2 con damage.
From up above there is heard a pop, as if someone just teleported away.
From over near the fire pots, "Well, you may have bested my minions, but remember this, I will succeed in spreading this plague, some of you are already afflicted with it, it will be glorious."
With that another pop is heard and Lia can verify that Skalipy is gone.

Those on fire need another save DC 20 reflex of take 12 more damage from the fire that is burning their clothes.

Add 56,000 xp , but we still have a day so....

@DM, ust Delmah, namely It'lal where the characters will be spending their off-time, it a lot like the cinnamon valley, sorta. It's ruled by a council of three women, it's isolated. Farther down the mountain are other villages occupied by humans and others. It'lal itself is not all drow. The Floating City is a teleport away and then Plateau City is another public teleport away. There's lots to do and plenty of building going on and it perhaps the fastest growing community in the Wold.

(Sounds like a commercial for Ust Delmah... a great place to raise a family, good schools, close restaurants and entertainment, lots of churches nearby, increasing property values... ;) )

Thar growls as Skalipy and the others escape, again avoiding the justice those vermin deserve...

He'll leave Truman summoned for now, asking it to help guard against any other threats that might appear, smelling and scouting the room for invisible enemies or those who are infected...

He'll move quickly to Tishe first, and casts CCW on her, healing 38 points...

(Are we still on rounds or done with combat?)

If combat's over and we're not on rounds.... Thar will move and begin healing others too and then check on Kahlan...

With the xp award you should be close to leveling. Leaving Thar about a 1/2 level behind his new group.

Caedmon keeps his bow at the ready, thinking the aggressors are planning a counter attack of some sort. When nothing appears, he will offer to help, and if need be, carry Kahlan out of this place.

Everyone, it has been great playing with you all. I have really enjoyed the recurring villain of Skalipy and in testing out the Witch/Spellweaver powers of Tishe'. My real world committments and too much going on in the Wold is combining to have Tishe' go on walkabout for a while, but give a year and she may be back adventuring in the Wold!

Thar, did you fail any of the saves from the exploding zombies? If so, need more saves from you.

As to treasure, I know it's really only important to Thar, but it should be discussed at least a little.

You got treasure from the animal undead in the woods, you skipped the village, you got some of the treasure in the prior Orc lair.
The rest will be gold and gems, found in a under the fire pot tunnel that's big enough to fit Rolf and leads out a couple miles from the path up.

A fast OOC here folks about knowing your enemy. Skalipy has been faced before. His tactics were well known to some of the group. Teleporting is a way of life for him. He uses it, his minions have usually had some way of doing it through boots, helms or rings of spell storing. Know your enemy to defeat your enemy. He has plans, plans that would be compromised by his death. His minions are and always have been expendable to him. Once they die, he always bugs out. Dimensional anchor and spells like it stop these things from happening. I coached John on what circumstances should lead to Skalipy's death. Chief among those circumstances was robbing him of his ever-present escape route of teleportation. Another was suddenly cornering him and ripping him to shreds, but he is a sly and very self preserving fighter. He learned from his last run in with the group and evolved ways around constantly being counterspelled. Try to keep things like this in mind when facing a recurring foe.
Thanks for the opportunity of letting me DM some of you at the start of this campaign. We worked out alot of issues and you guys helped make me into a better DM by using tactics I normally don't see to get out of the traps I laid for you. I wish you all luck in the next stage of your Woldian lives. Since John will still be part of the team of your campaign, I would expect Skalipy to show up again, somewhere, somehow.

Re: his sickness, he only missed the first saving throw from the enemy, and does a Heal Check to see the best way to get rid of it... Heal - 30 Worse case, he'll cast "Heal" on himself, which removes all diseases, conditions, etc., and/or Restoration, to restore his lost Con...

Since the game's ending, do we really need him to continue healing everyone else, or will our group go to Ust with full hps, etc.?

The new XP total puts Thar at 582K and change. He's still about 50K ish from his next level... How does that compare with the group he's joining?

Also, just let me know about how much gp value we're getting as a group, and he'll take a visit to the Catacombs...

Thanks guys, this was a lot of fun while it lasted. This was a bit of a trial for me to see how high level summoners fare in the Wold. My new PC for Ust Sunrise is somewhat more into non-violence, healing, and divination. Looking forward to seeing the game ramp up soon!

I'm going to make a ruling, Thar, once we find out how much "net worth" the others are averaging, you have permission to equal that value. Are you also behind them in level? if so, I don't think that'd be fair to you so... once we find our, make yourself just equal to that level, you might be behind them some, but at least within shouting distance.

Sound fair?

I'm also working up a story to get you there, other than that I "expect" the rest are "npc'd at the WatcHaven except Tishe` who said she's going on a walk about.

Caedmon is going to set off with Tishe' for a while and then go back to traveling the Wold helping those where needed.

Everyone should be 15 and a little past halfway to 16. Wealth wise they are very well off. Had a Jerry written module that set them up nice. 370K is about right.
