Swords of Light
In the Cinnamon Valley of the Windborne Hills, the defeat of Jarl the Giant by Storm and Gold Dragons has inspired new bands of adventurers from near and far. Here are the tales of one of those bands: Andrath, Arminus, Bralin, Harvest Moon, Lorth, Merryn, Villemus and Ashalan.

Volume 1: The Claw of Axios 6th November 2002 Cinnamon Valley folk have always cherished their children and were wary of strangers, so adventurers and adventuring have always been looked down on. However, the recent visit by the Gold and Storm Dragons has caused a reversal of that among the young people.
Chapter 1: Meetings 6th November 2002 Young adventurers meet and begin the forging of a band of would-be heroes.
Chapter 2: The House of Lalliote 19th November 2002 What could be scarier than a witch's abode? How about a dead witch's abode?! Oooooh!
Chapter 3: The Ghost of Lalliote 19th December 2002 The witch who owned the claw is dead and burned, but she seems undeterred by that!
Chapter 4: Wolf Attack 30th December 2002 The howling in the night betokens not just the cold biting night wind, but also an enemy with sharper bites.

Chapter 2: Helping Hmary 30th January 2003 A farmer has lost her husband -- can our adventurers find him and bring him home?
Chapter 3: Feorges's Tower 3rd March 2003 A wounded and weak wizard, cursed in an experiment gone awry, has sent the party to his now-dangerous tower. He needs his spell-book back!
Chapter 4: Culverwood Quest 14th April 2003 The party has agreed to help Dulcet, the witch representative on the Pitchfork Council, find certain valuable plants in the magical Culverwood. She is sending her assistant, Cassandra, to guide and help.
Chapter 5: Owlbear Outrage 30th May 2003 On their way out of the Culverwood, the party's camp is disturbed by some owlbear hatchlings -- and their mama!
Chapter 1: Donning the Mask 19th January 2004 A curious young witch tries on a mask brought back as loot from the 'Tower of Boydos'. Alas! The mask is cursed!
Chapter 2: The Greenmage of Culverwood 3rd February 2004 The party learns that the wood used in the mask can be found only in the Wyrmsfut swamp, deep in the forest of Culverwood.
Chapter 3: The Spice Trail 9th February 2004 The party head deeper into the forest in search of the Wyrmsfut.
Chapter 8: Denholm's Tree 9th May 2004 The home of an ancient forest spirit is located. But will he help?
Chapter 9: Trolls 2nd June 2004 Nearing their destination, the party is set upon by trolls.
Chapter 10: Shedar's Lair 9th July 2004 A reclusive escapee from the Jarl's prison, the witch Schedar has made a home for herself in the most remote part of the Wyrmsfut swamp.
Chapter 11: Diplomacy or Death 21st July 2004 Will the party be able to convince Schedar to free Cassandra from her torment?
Chapter 1: Magpie Mysteries 22nd August 2004 Whereby the Swords of Light depart for Magpie Crossing hitching a ride with a chatty halfling.
Chapter 2: The Last Paladin 22nd September 2004 The Swords of Light meet Caerthon, a survivor of the dread wars.
Chapter 3: Gentle Persuasion 11th October 2004 Set upon by local thugs, the party realize there is more to what is going on in Magpie Crossing than meets the eye.
Chapter 4: A Righteous Quest 12th November 2004 After learning the lay of the land, the party must make a decision.
Chapter 5: Into the Dead Zone 12th December 2004 Reinforceed by new members, the Swords of Light enter an inhospitable landscape.
Chapter 6: The Crimson Fort 20th January 2005 Andrath Silverhand, Arminus Calaelen, Bralin Stoneminder, Harvest Moon, Lorth Jeradosta, and Merryn Blackbridge sneak into the Crimson Fort.
Chapter 7: Rescue 16th February 2005 In the bowels of the Crimson Fort the Swords of Light discover what has befallen the captured paladins Hugo and Langdon
Chapter 9: The Big Dream [CDM Jerry] 19th March 2005 The party experience a shared dream in which nature florishes and grows lush under laughing elvish eyes.
Chapter 1: The Pitchfork Council 23rd June 2005 The Swords of Light attend a session of the Pitchfork Council. A solution must be found to the problem of the growing threat from the Sons of Dread in the north, but first something must be done about the refugees from the Culverwood.
Chapter 2: Satyrs Just Wanna Have Fun 8th July 2005 Thadius and Thalpius make their appearance demanding their usual tribute of wine and women. Those who had previously met the satyrs notice a change in their appearance. What magic is this?
Chapter 4: Grynntym's Aboretum 13th August 2005 The Greenmage sends the party to the southern fringes of the Culverwood to learn what has aroused Parnoth and inspired his recent actions.
Chapter 5: Who's Your Daddy? 30th August 2005 Would be bounty hunters confront the Swords of Light with a view to capturing those of elvish blood.
Chapter 6: The Avatar of Ebyron 26th September 2005 "The Fey King did rule and reign upon the bright green Wold. His whim, they say, did rule the day, or so the tale is told. Chapter 7: Fierce Creatures 13th October 2005 The Swords of Light are set upon by soldiers from the Emerald Kingdom lead by evil Parnothians, fearsome half-dragons created by the god Marteaus with one of Parnoth's claws!
Chapter 8: The Great Escape 11th November 2005 A daring escape from the prison tower of Parnoth's castle in the Emerald city!
Chapter 9: Going Home 7th December 2005 Their escape accomplished it remains only for the Swords to return to their own lands.
Volume 7: Finding Remo 19th December 2005 The search for a missing envoy leads Our Heroes into danger.
Chapter 1: The Envoy 19th December 2005 The Swords are asked to find a missing envoy.
Chapter 2: Is Anyone Home? 11th January 2006 A seemingly deserted house is the first hint that All is Not Well.
Chapter 3: Hot on the Trail 8th February 2006 The discovery of an apparent ambush and kidnapping makes the search all the more urgent.
Chapter 4: The Abbey 19th March 2006 Our Heroes have tracked the kidnapped envoy to a deserted abbey, and slain the creature that guards it. But there's a lot of space here in which to hide a little halfling...
Volume 13: The Summoner 22nd May 2007 A young magic student shows a sudden, marked improvement. Has he simply learned to apply himself, or is there something else going on?
Chapter 2: Investigating 29th July 2007 Something seems off about Itzal Jerse's newly-acquired magical prowess. The Swords of Light are determined to learn more.
Chapter 4: The Magic School 22nd August 2007 On the trail of clues, the Swords visit the place where Itzal (supposedly) learned it all.
Chapter 5: The Road to Jarlwolf 20th September 2007 Itzal has a mnay fold plan, developed for him by the wizards Medonius. Charm spells and his family name's influence has brought back up, or so is the plan to the area. The party has certainly made themselves difficult. The hope is to apply a different kind of pressure to undue thier works and standing. To that end a small group from the Mailed Fist was brought into the area in preparation to hold th party and possibly goad them to foolishness whle Itzal finished with the original plan
Volume 14: The Wedding of Florin and Ivy 17th January 2008 The group has come to the close of a great many chapters of adventure and heroics. Friends have joined and left the Swords of Light and now the last members are dispersing to other lands.
