The grimiest game in the Wold, Dirt City is a Rogues' paradise. Well, it was until everyone swore to be nicer to each other ... but how long can they keep that up?
2nd August 2003 TO PRESENT
Volume 1: A Plot Most Foul 2nd August 2003 Luck (or fate? or a tendency to do good deeds?) brings our fearless band of adventurers together.
Volume 2: Better Left Alone? 29th October 2003 There's a mystery in the hills north of Dirt City -- and the party discovers that some "treasure" is better left buried!
Volume 6: The Gate 6th December 2004 The Book: filled with plots and contacts, it's aim - destroying the community of Dirt City and bring chaos back to the southern part of Izen. But now The Book has been discovered and brought back to Dirt City, and it's plans are unraveling. The Prince of Thieves, his men, and the House of Knives have systematically read through every page and have put a stop to every plot, and every assassin. It has been bloody work.
However - one of The Book's puzzles is baffling everyone, confounding even the best minds. Unable to work together because of mutual suspicion and fear, the individual Houses are at a loss to solve it.
Not so, for a couple of kids known to the adventuring group, who stumble on something after breaking and entering.
Old Toomeys bakery - the shop closed and boarded up, the man hung for treason; mentioned in the book, but now crossed off as being 'sorted'. But beneath the shop lies a tunnel not specified in The Book, and at the end of it lies the answer to the puzzle - an evil shrine - a gateway to the Shadowlands. Already 'things' are beginning to stumble through. Can the group find it and destroy it in time, before the whole City surrenders to hordes of undead - and worse?
Chapter 2: All Hollowed Eve 16th June 2005 In which the Dirties encounter The Great Pumpkin, who ain't givin' out treats to all the kids in the pumpkin patch; and in which they also meet a new DM, Kup (gosh, what is it with these guys and all the new DMs?).
Volume 10: Morning After the Storm 30th March 2006 Our Heroes have had thier world turn upside down. The Book's removal, the Fey King's arrival, the Prince disappearing. How is the City of Thieves going to be now?
Volume 13: The Hundred Year Curse 18th September 2006 Every 100 years a ship appears, and people disappear. Will the Dirt City heroes end up among the disappeared? Or will they solve the mystery of the cursed ship?
Chapter 6: Repercussions 3rd January 2008 The Dark Horse Guild has thwarted an ambush of the House leaders of Dirt City...but the dogs of war are baying on the horizon and the City needs a leader to organize them all.
