Level 5 is where the sailors hang out. Nuff said. The area is rough and if you are unprepared, you may be marked even before you set foot upon The Float. This is the home of various taverns -- including the Wold-famous [[The Giggling Ghost|Giggling Ghost]]. You can also find the best fish in town anywhere at The Dead End Fish Market, as well as various coin exchange facilities. It is worthy of note that The Floating City has its own currency and therefore supports a large number of exchange houses. This level is the home to Pier Row and is the usual place to enter the Big Float.

54. Turtlemaster Headquarters-Cris Steinfoot is the Turtlemaster and a member of the Overlord's Advisory Council. This is the headquarters for Cris and her staff. She earned her reputation as a Druid Guide in the Crying Woods. Her dolphin, Luci, is beloved for rescuing several children from drowning and is the reason Cris does not continue to travel.  The Turtlemaster is in charge of turtle barge safety, city tourism and travel through the Crying Woods.<br>
55. Lady Luck Taxi Turtles-Owned by Lyraesel the Beautiful, the Float's Turtles are as legendary as the city itself.  The average turtle is 30' by 20'.  Various "howdahs" are available from very expensive richly and magically furnished to sturdy cargo designs.<br>

63. Turtle Docks-The Turtle Docks cover the entire southern end of Fence Level extending in places close to 100 feet into the lake.  Traffic is fierce during the workday as ships load, unload, and are serviced.  Several locations have boom arms for freight loading and unloading and each boom can be pivoted to either side of that pier.  At regular intervals, gang planks can be lowered or attached to the sides and ends of each pier.<br>
