Mission Statement For Woldian Organizations

This document describes how all Woldian Organizations are designed. Outwardly, our Organizations are in essence alternative magic items. That is, you spend gold on them, and you get benefits. They are like slotless magic items in this regard. However, Organizations have a secret true purpose, or thee. We use Orgs to foster and encourage Woldian values. Each Organizations has a theme that supports a basic concept of the Wold. This offers not just a storyline benefit, but boosts the overall health of the Wold. 

a) The WLA fosters the Woldian value of HEROISM. 

b) The Dragon Consortium is the apotheosis of SUPER-HEROISM.

c) The Mailed Fist fosters the Woldian value of TEAMWORK.

d) The Sages Guild fosters the Woldian value of EDUCATION. 

f) The Star Mages Guild and the Chancer's Club need revision [as of May 2017] so that they too will represent a Woldian value.

Because these are universal values, we want our Organizations to be open widely to PCs and to have valuable benefits for as many PCs as possible.
