The Gray Knights have just returned from Fae Skiemir victorious in their first trial given by the Dragon Consortium. After a violent earthquake destroys much of Plateau City, the Knights travel towards the Emerald Kingdom in order to learn how the Sons of Dread have managed to create these earthquakes and put an end to them.

Foul death awaited the Knights in their assault on the Sons of Dread, with only two of their number escaping. Recovering from this loss, the Knights are now sworn to destroy the Sons of Dread once and for all.

But before that can be accomplished, an artifact obtained in Fae Skiemir must be destroyed, for it opens a gate to a strange demonic force known as the Legion, who have frequently harassed the Knights since they recovered the Orb.

The Grey Knights are on the verge of completing thier greatest task and the last that they need to perform before becoming full members of the Dragon Consortium.  Having travelled across the entire Wold to a far and remote place on the Southern Continent, the Knights have befriended the village if Ice Peak were directed an anbcient and sacred place, Mt Bal.  There they found a powerful gemstone and were directed by the immortal Frigga'Isa a lost tribe.  The Grey Knights restored the ancient powers (Teurceri in design) and reunited the people with the god Gargul as their anscestors had done for centuries before.

The Dread had long ago come to this place and corrupted the Great Terurceri device that protedted the tribe so that the Dread could remain completely hidden and strike across the Wold. Now that secrecy is gone and the veil that kept thier secret lifted. Guided by Vran, a 5th column member within the Dread itself, the Knights have moved to the great flying island to strike a mortal blow against the Dread and to hopefully destroy the Dread lord himself.   All Seven of the Dread lords are on the island for one of the extremely rare meetings that occur.

If the Knights are victorious, not only will they be members of the Dragon Consortium, The Dread will be all but destroyed forever, the great and powerful wepons of magic including a sphere of Annihilation will be thiers and perhaps most wondrous of all, the great flying island will belong to the Knights as well.
