This finely woven, unadorned cloak is grey under normal temperatures.

When worn, it continuously keeps the wearer comfortable in temperatures ranging from -50 to 140 degrees Farenheit. The wearer is not required to make Fortitude checks due to the environmental temperature. The cloak gradually takes on a blacker hue as temperatures falls below 45 degrees, and takes on increasing shades of white as temperatures exceed 90 degrees. This cloak does not provide protection from heat or cold based attacks (i.e. Fireball), nor does it protect from other environmental hazards (smoke, lack of air). They occupy the Shoulder slot.

Faint abjuration; Caster Level One; Craft Wondrous Item, Endure Elements; Price 1,000 gp.

WOLDIAN NOTE: This cloak is common in vast Plains of the Southern Continent, since it eases the effects of the heat and dehydration that is a danger there. It is especially favored by merchants who traverse the Grass.

Developed by Mike Knotts (no character commission)
