The Story so far
Should some kind soul be willing to summarise past events, here is where you will find them.
Dirt City: the Readers Digest Condensed Version.
The adventurers who would later take the name "Dark Horse Guild" met by chance when they saw a crime being committed. They jumped in to help, and have been helping Dirt City ever since.
We foiled a cultist plan to assassinate the daughter of the leader of the Wolf House. That got us to be Wolf Friends.
We rescued some miners from a cursed mine. The miners had been working for the Wolves, and the mine was illegal, so the Wolves took some flack when the news got out. But they did not seem to hold it against us, much.
We solved a string of murders -- it was a giant bug, and we got the bug and its monstrologer master to leave the city.
The Prince sent us on a mission to fight cultists in the Blackbird Forest. We hooked up with the Swords of Redemption and took out a nest of cultists, stealing an unholy book.
We gave the book to the Prince, and it corrupted him. We fought some cultists under the city.
The Fey King tried to start a plague in the City. We fought his minions, spread a cure, and saved the Temple of Wardd. The Prince is getting weirder, and is nowhere to be found in the City. Later he says he was fighting monsters in the undersewers.
Then the book was stolen from the Prince. and he sent us after it. We got it back, but the Gold Dragons took it from us. The Prince went batso nuts.
We ended up in a conflict with the Prince. We snuck into the palace, kidnapped one of the Prince's new evil advisors, snuck out, had a confrontation at the palace gate. A mob of common folk at the gate backed us, and we made it out alive.
We were on the lam, then, and we managed to dodge the heat by running off to the nightmare realm of Koshe Marr. Why we thought that would be an improvement I don't know! We lost a comrade there, MadJack, and we would not do evil deeds for Marteaus to get him free. So he is in eternal torment there now. Poor MadJack.
The Prince went awol. Maybe the Gold Dragons cured him? Maybe rumors say he is running the new government in Rum?
Back in Dirt City, we solved the mystery of a 100-year curse by laying some ghosts to rest on a haunted island. Our ship sinks, but we find a magic ship to take us to safety.
We go looking for the ship's magic figurehead. We rescue some sailors and find out that three armies are coming to invade Dirt City.
We decide to call ourselves the Dark Horse Guild. Vauhwyt still sometimes calls us the Blackbird Gang and the Patsy Heroes.
Now we are meeting with the heads of the houses to organize against these armies. We sugested former PC Dietrich, now an NPC affiliated with us, as war leader. Another good suggestion is Liam, the local head officer of the WLA. The meeting was attacked, but we beat them off.
