NPCs

Pitchfork Council. The ruling body of Cinnamon Valley; consist of four representatives, one each from the Hmanas, Hill People, Witches, and Druidfolk

Lord Hmitri. Usually well-dressed and full of energy, he is a human and takes caring for his people very seriously. Doesnt stand on protocol and treats everyone as if they are special. His people love him. He is descended of the Hmanas free-staters. He is also the Hmanas representative on the Pitchfork Council. Currently resides in Strongwind Castle.

Dulcet. Bloodwitch and the Witch member of the Pitchfork Council. From Witchspawn. Old human woman who looks like a soft wind can break her in two, but very wise and strong enough for her spell casting. Lives in Witchspawn.

Thelonius Bedstraw, Hill People representative of the Council, very business-like and protective of people in his circle. Not well-liked by the Hill People themselves because of his half-elven parentage.

Simmay Swanfeathers. Halfling druid, representative in Council of both Druids and the Village of Merrydale. A grandmother, hale and plump. She tries very hard to limit the Council’s influence, preferring more local government (local)

Hnate's Hamlet. A farming community north o Magpie Crossing.

Hnate the Farmer. Sturdy human farmer who is the lead speaker for the Hnate Hamlet. Matter-of-Fact, he takes and tells about life as if that’s the way it is. He knows farming and the stories that heroes are helpers.

Patina Clubhand. Old dwarf with one hand very deformed. Secretive but likes practical jokes and riddles, lives in a small croft north of Stormwind Castle. A master craftsman for metal impliments, especially copper. Is actually a Copper Dragon!

The Manor

Roel (Hired Servant at house for cooking and basic duties) Companiion to Evaris. Frail cleric of Panthenon who can’t adventure anymore.

Finn and Glenda, 2 humans from a village on the shores of the Turtle Lake that took responsibility for the abduction of some turtles. They were given positions to help raise and care for the turtles that were returned to work off the debt owed. They follow the adventurers to Cinnamon Valley.

Willie and Ghillie Flett. Teenage human boys, Sons of the single parent who runs Flett's Furniture. Working as handymen at the heroes house, The Manor, and good natured accidents, falls, spills, and broken things just seem to follow them wherever they go!

Kitten. A small gray and black striped house cat that is still in the adorable ball of fluff stage. Kitten purrs loudly when scratched or given something to eat. It manages to get into nearly everything it’s not supposed to

Magpie Crossing

Maya. Elderly human woman who owns Maya's Treasures, loves baking things for the heroes, and has a Catacombs entrance behind a mirror in her store.

Tharen Brightsong. Elf proprietor of the most popular bathhouse in Magpie Crossing, is knowledgeable on most cultural norms on the Elennian Penninsula (because of years in catering to visitors)

Palonia, Maracasthai, and Junior. Minotaurs. Female Blacksmith, Male Vinter, pre-teen son. All are stoic, proper, and dedicated experts at their craft.

Emberdown. Centaur Druid. Very proper. Slightly superior and condescending when speaking, because he obviously knows more than anyone else. Mostly concerns himself with plants.

Brother Daevon. Half-orc, low level cleric of Alemi. Older, and speaks well, but not a lot of wisdom. Takes care of Alemi's shrine. Has a high opinion of Lord Hmitri, t'the spitting image of his father'.

Hmark, a middle aged human who doubles as Hmitri's Guards Captain and Bodyguard. All business and very protective of the young noble.

Geography

See Windbourne Hills and Cinnamon Valley.

Environs

Cinnamon Valley is mostly fertile farms and woods teeming with flora and fauna. There are four larger towns that are urban settings. There are also many underground areas from subterranean streams to old mines on Wolf Hill. And finally, Glitterrox, Magpie Falls, the WitchStones, and other locations bring the supernatural very close and personal to the people living in Cinnamon Valley.

Around the Valley, the Dread Woods lay to the north, the Red Hills to the East, and the Culverwood the south and south-west. Only in the north-wet are there roads to the outside Wold, the City-States of Windbourne Hills.

History

The heroes now known as the Keepers of the Vale began their adventures in The Floating City, a magical place far to the west of Cinnamon Valley. During that part of their history, they recovered stolen turtles and killed a mighty beast lurking in the depths of Turtle Lake. They also investigated a vampire infestation in and about the Merchant Level of the Big Float. There they were known as The Diamond Circle or The Diamond Blades. You can read about those adventures at this link.

After the group moved to Cinnamon Valley, they established a new home in Magpie Crossing. Please read about their recent and ongoing adventures at this link.
