Realms of Responsibility

This goddess brings revenge on those who deserve it, rights wrongs that are too controversial or mundane for Alemi to handle, represents the rights of evil beings to have their revenge and avenges those who cannot revenge themselves. She punishes those who forswear themselves. She also punishes those who break their oaths and get away with it.


Appearance

A full-figured woman dressed in black leather. Jancassis carries an opaque whip.


Holy Symbol

Black widow.


Spider’s Alignment

All except good.


Spider’s Requirements

Strength-12, Wisdom-12.


Weapons Allowed

Standard plus any designed to torture: especially the whip.


Armor Allowed

Black leather of any type.


Multiclasses Allowed

All.


Spells Allowed

MAJOR-All, Combat, Guardian, Necromantic.

MINOR-Healing, Protection, Summoning


Granted Powers(all)

Can cast Detect Lies once per day in addition to all other spells.

Immune to spider bites of all kinds.

Perform the different Sanctification of Oath Ceremonies when the proper level is obtained (See Alemi).

+2 saving throw vs. all potions.


Turn undead.

Speak with insects once a day.

Cast Web spell once per day in addition to all other spells.


Non-Weapon Proficiencies

Required-Tracking.

Recommended-Reading/writing, religion.


Duties of the Spider

Guidance.

Marriage: especially those of convenience and swordpoint weddings.

Missions: to achieve justice or revenge when they have been thwarted.

Punish: oathbreakers and those above the law.

Vigilante services to perform secret missions to bring the rich to justice.


Strictures

Cannot refuse to investigate when stories of injustice are brought to them.

Cannot refuse to effect revenge upon those deserving.

Must give 10% to church.
