Ust Delmah: Crystal pendants
The Shadow Guardians found a dozen of the green crystal pendants (which must be worn in the necklace slot) in a reptilian ruin, where wall murals hinted at their powers. They date back to the old Reptilian Empire, block the ominous feeling of the Woods, prevent the Woods from tracking us via it's magic (although the Woods can still track us through their Awakened), and provide some minor combat benefits against plants. In general, it seems that small flying creatures (like many familiars) don't need to wear crystals to keep off the Woods' radar -- presumably due to their small size, the fact that they rarely touch the ground, and/or the fact that birds are likely to happen into the forest normally and thus aren't really noticed.
Subsequently, at least one other similar protective device has appeared in the possession of the Shadow Guardian Y'lara"
"Yes, the magic of the woods. I felt like I was being hunted for the first week or two. Then my brother, Ramal, brought me this," She retrieves a small clump of uncut green crystal. "He said that it was given to him by our great-great-aunt. Another time when I asked about it he said it was a gift from our third cousin, our mother's second. I'm not sure where he got it from, but it makes me feel peaceful in the forest. At first I thought it was the crystal providing some serenity, but I've come to realise that it blocks the domineering nature of the forest itself."
