Vedik's Headband of Focus

This headband, originally developed by a Fixer of Alemi named Vedik, may be crafted of various materials but always contains a dull red gem in the center, which glows very slightly when the item is used. The item provides a +5 competence bonus to Concentration, Use Magic Device and one type of Craft check. The device is attuned to one specific craft skill at a time, and the attunement may be changed by placing 1 drop of Woldsblood on the item's gem and spending 1 hour performing the craft to which the headband is being attuned. In addition, once per day before making a concentration check, the wearer may take the result as a natural 20, without rolling.

Greater Headband of Focus: This is the same as the normal headband of focus, but provides a +10 competence bonus to the three skills.

Moderate enchantment; CL 7th; Craft Item, Price Lesser: 10,000 gp, Greater: 35,000 gp. Weight negligible.
