Current Events

The group brought home the stolen turtles and killed a mighty beast lurking in the depths of Turtle Lake. The overlord has just awarded them a building on Merchant level, between Lamp Avenue and Wall Street. The group, under contract by the Council, is investigating a vampire infestation in and about Merchant level. The vampires, halflings, were discovered as the group followed a lead on a possible bombing target on Merchant level

NPCs

Pitchfork Council NPCsRuling body of Cinnamon Valley

Lord Hmitri. Usually well-dressed and full of energy, he is a human and takes caring for his people very seriously. Doesn’t stand on protocol and treats everyone as if they are special. His people love him. He is descended of the Hmanas free-staters. He is also the Hmanas representative on the Pitchfork Council. Currently resides in Strongwind Castle.

Dulcet. Bloodwitch and the Witch member of the Pitchfork Council. From Witchspawn. Old human woman who looks like a soft wind can break her in two, but very wise and strong enough for her spell casting. Lives in Witchspawn.

Thelonius Bedstraw, Hill People representative of the Council, very business-like and protective of people in his circle. Not well-liked by the Hill People themselves because of his half-elven parentage. Lives in Jarlswolf.

Simmay Swanfeathers. Halfling druid, representative in Council of both Druids and the Village of Merrydale. A grandmother, hale and plump. She tries very hard to limit the Council’s influence, preferring more local government at the village level.

Hnate's Hamlet NPCs'

Hnate the Farmer. Sturdy human farmer who is the lead speaker for Hnate’s Hamlet. Matter-of-Fact, he takes and tells about life as if that’s the way it is. He knows farming and the stories that heroes are helpers.

Patina Clubhand. Old dwarf with one hand very deformed. Secretive but likes practical jokes and riddles, lives in a small croft in Hnate’s Hamlet. A master craftsman for metal implements, especially copper. Is actually a Copper Dragon!

The Manor NPCs

Roel, Companion to Evaris. Frail human cleric of Panthenon who can’t adventure anymore. Loves to drink. Helps out as the heroes’ man in charge when they are

Finn and Glenda, 2 humans from a village on the shores of the Turtle Lake that took responsibility for the abduction of some turtles. They were given positions to help raise and care for the turtles that were returned to work off the debt owed. The Overlord altered their sentence to housekeep for the heroes in Cinnamon Valley.

Ghillie and Willie Flett. Sons of widower, Garisin Flett (owner of Flett’s Furniture). G & W are teens and always accidentally getting into trouble. Have asked if they can be the groundskeepers for the Manor.

Kitten. A small gray and black striped house cat that is still in the adorable ball of fluff stage. Kitten purrs loudly when scratched or given something to eat. It manages to get into nearly everything it’s not supposed to, especially playing with a small necklace pendant that looks like a greatsword.

Magpie Crossing NPCs

Maya. Elderly woman, owner of Maya’s Treasures curio shop. Doesn’t sleep much and likes to make food to bring to the heroes.

Brightsong. Elf who owns the most popular of the famed Magpie Crossing Baths. Used to be a general goods store converted to an elegant bath house. Relative of Wynn Brightsong, local hero.

Goodman “Garison” Flett. Widower and father of Ghillie and Willie. Expert making any sort of excellent furniture or cabinetry from wood or withes. Not a good businessman, but his crafts are so good that he’s still successful.

Goodman Schafly. Owns Schafly’s Inn. Very efficient and prosperous, but tends to stay silent and in the background.

Palonia, Maracasthai, and Junior. Minotaurs. Female Blacksmith, Male Vinter, pre-teen son. All are stoic, proper, and dedicated experts at their craft.

Brother Daevon. Older human, low level cleric. Has a very high opinion of Lord Hmitri (having known his father and grandfather). Takes care of the Alemi Shrine.

Emberdown. Centaur Druid. Very proper. Slightly superior and condescending when speaking, because he obviously knows more than anyone else. Mostly concerns himself with plants and taking care of the Domi Shrine.

Merrydale NPCs

Wilber Tundrasprout. Halfling Expert, Innkeeper. Outgoing and friendly, Wilber always wants to ensure his customers are satisfied with whatever they are seeking; be it food, drink, rest, or information trading. Owns and operates the Harvest Bounty, the only Inn in the village of Meadowdale. The inn has an interior built for Small sized beings, and a large courtyard with a covered awning for Medium and larger sized patrons.

Hned Cooper. Middle aged bespectacled Human. ‘Mayor’ of Merrydale and owner of the General Store. Very easy going and not a leader, more an honorary title.

Witchspawn NPCs

Kayleigh the Greenwitch. Adult adoptive daughter of Dulcet. Is a Druid/Witch, thought unusual but very competent. Tall human woman who wears greens and browns, nearly always has small birds or mammals perching in her long brown hair. A follower of Ma’ab, she seeks closer integration of civilization and nature.
