Geography: Plateau City: Foreign Quarter
Home to all of the foreign consulates and embassies, this area is perhaps the most strange of the city. Filled with pyramids, strange structures dating back to the Teucri occupation and visiting peoples from around The Wold, one can see almost anything foreign here at any time.
Perhaps the strangest structure in the quarter is the Abandoned Pyramid. It contains ancient and unknown dangers and is a favorite place for adventurers to venture when looking for danger and treasure. It is an official “dungeon” of the city.
The Foreign Market surrounds the Abandoned Pyramid. This market is very transient as many things sold here are of an illegal or rogue religious nature. The Constabulary consistently closes down this market arresting and fining the merchants only to see the market open again in a few weeks.
Perhaps the most amazing structure of the quarter is the Elven Consulate. It is built in the form of an elven contemplation maze. Many elves of the city enjoy walking its endless paths in contemplation. MInotaurs love the place. To speak to a consul, one simply states his desire at the entrance and you will be assisted through the maze to the consulate at the center.
