Item: Steelgrass

From Woldipedia
Jump to: navigation, search

There are many strange plants found in the Sargrass Plains and no where else in the Wold. Among the most well-known outside the Plains is steel grass, a thin bladed green grass that is easily woven into buildings, weapons, and armor. When it is treated with a paste made by the Manfri, it becomes extremely rigid and strong. The Manfri are known for wearing armor made from this grass that can turn a tempered sword.

Obtaining Steelgrass Items

Steelgrass generally cannot be bought, even in the Wold’s greatest magic shop, the Catacombs. It is just too rare. To obtain it, you will have to visit the Manfri, a small noble race native only to the Sargrass. It is rumored that the greatest weavers of Rattledam have also mastered the weaving of steelgrass, but if that is true, they do not sell it or even admit to the knowledge.
