Lost Hall's Porter
Legend has it that The Lost Halls Porter was first brewed by a different name early in the 2nd Age in the Dwarven City of Durendal by Master Brewer Balinor Grimstone. When the city fell during the 3rd Age the recipe, along with numerous other Dwarven artifacts and heirlooms, were thought to be lost forever. However the recipe was recently discovered during a small expedition into the ruins.
As the name suggests, The Lost Halls Porter is a bold, full-flavored, dark beer. The robust flavor and aroma is its major selling point, making it one of the most distinguishable of all beer.
Any dwarf or dwarf-kin who drinks a mug of this beer and reflects upon the history of his or her kinsmen gains a +2 Morale bonus to any knowledge checks having to do with Dwarven History or Culture for the next 3 hours. To properly reflect upon their Dwarven heritage requires a DC 15 Concentration check.
